Choosing your holiday just got even easier…

We’ve all been there. Sitting in front of the computer, looking at dozens and dozens of hotels. After a while, they all start merging into one, and you can barely remember which one had the fancy lagoon pool with the swim-up bar, and which one had six restaurants. Well, things have just got a lot easier with our Shortlist feature.

It’s really simple to use. Just do a search as usual, then click on the shortlist button for the hotels you like – you can select up to ten. A box will pop up on the top right-hand side that tells you how many you’ve saved as you do it. If you want to remove one, just click on the shortlisted button – it’ll say remove when you hover on it.

When you’ve created your top ten, hit the view shortlist button. You’ll see your hotels displayed in boxes with all the basic info to hand, so you can see whether each one is close to the beach or adults-only, for example. It shows three hotels at a time – just click the arrows to move back and forth along the list.

Here at First Choice, we’re loving the notes feature, too – you’ll find it at the bottom of each hotel summary. It lets you add comments about the hotels you’ve saved – so if, say, you research one on TripAdvisor and reviewers are raving about the pool, you can add a note to remind yourself later.

Best of all, if you want your partner or best mate to have a look, you can email it to them using the email shortlist button, so they can check it straightaway. If you want to email it to yourself, too, just tick the box.
