Duplex apartment

We really rate the duplex apartments at this place. Each one is topped with a private terrace, which comes with loungers laid out for rooftop tanning sessions – not that you’ll want to spend much time on them after you’ve clapped eyes on your private Jacuzzi. It’s right at the edge of the terrace, so you can soak up widescreen views over Cala Millor and the Med while you, er, soak. The hotel will open its doors in 2013, but these apartments are selling like hot cakes already – don’t miss out.

Coral Sea Splash Resort, Sharm El Sheikh

Swim-up room

Come on – who wants to waste their time walking back and forth from the pool? Book one of the swim-up rooms at this place and you won’t have to – you’ll simply step off your balcony into the water. Once inside, it’s all about contemporary lighting, smart feature walls and chic turquoise and grey colour schemes. As for mod-cons, expect satellite TVs and oh-that’s-nice air-conditioning.

Hotel Marti La Perla, Dalaman

Whatever type of room you book at this hotel, you’ll get a side-order of spectacular views.
