At First Choice we believe that great holidays shouldn't cost the Earth. That's why we're at the forefront of finding ways to protect and support the destinations we travel to.
There are many ways we do this, such as working with hotels to address their impact on the environment and local communities, helping children learn about endangered species, and encouraging our customers to donate to the World Care Fund.
In fact, we're so committed to promoting sustainable tourism that we've produced a fantastic online brochure to help you find our greenest holidays. Take a look below for a taste of what you'll find in our brochure, which is available to download for free right here.

Why Choose Us?
We know that a healthy environment and a warm welcome are a big part of having a great holiday, so we're working with a range of experts on the ground to protect the places you love to visit.
Efficient flying
We all know that the CO2 emitted into the atmosphere during a flight has an impact on the climate. We’ve taken steps to reduce the emissions from our aircraft by changing the way we fly. And in 2008, for the third year in a row, our airline has been named Most Environmentally Responsible at the British Travel Awards.
Travelife Hotels
All hotels featured here and in our Greener Holidays brochure have been recognised for doing their bit to be more sustainable. This includes actions like reducing the amount of energy and water they use, using locally produced food and making sure the people who work there have fair working conditions. The best performing hotels are given a bronze, silver or gold Travelife award.
World Care Fund
It's easy to do your bit for the planet when you come on holiday with us. Donate just £1 a person (or 50p for a child) to the World Care Fund and we'll match it. The money you give goes to projects that help make up for the impact holidaymakers have on the environment and support communities around the world.
Sustainable Activities
We're working hard to make your resort activities as sustainable as possible. Take our excursions for example. We're looking at making our excursions better for communities, respectful of local culture and traditions and kinder to the natural environment.
But we don't stop there. In our Kids' Academy, we've been busy entertaining children with Hatch the Turtle - he'll be featuring in our Kids' Clubs activities to tell them all about endangered species, wildlife and the different people and cultures across our planet. Then there's our charity programme. Over the years First Choice customers have been generous in giving to good causes in the places we visit. Some of the money we raise in our destinations goes to local charities, such as MAIS in the Dominican Republic, which takes underprivileged teenagers from the streets and gives them a chance of a better life.
On top of this, we also support the Family Holiday Association which specialises in helping underprivileged UK families to take a much-needed basic holiday – many for the first time.

Passenger age is calculated by how old they will be at the time of your return flight. Please ensure you have entered all passenger ages correctly for the date you have selected.
