Ticket on departure - travelling within the next two weeks

When will I get my tickets if I book to leave within the next two weeks?

When booking close to the holiday or flight's departure date, we cannot send your tickets by post, as they often will not arrive in time. Instead, we arrange for you to collect your tickets from the First Choice desk at your chosen airport on the day of departure. The tickets must be collected before you check-in, so please allow additional time for this.

Why do I need to pick up my tickets from the airport?

This is to guarantee that you receive your documentation for your holiday. By holding your tickets at the airport we can be sure that you'll get them.

Do I need any proof of purchase to pick up my tickets?

All you need is a print out of the ‘Booking Confirmation’ page which has your booking reference number on it. You may also need your passport to prove the confirmation is yours. This is to make sure no one else can collect your tickets.

When can I pick up my tickets from the airport?

Please pick up your tickets before you join the check-in queue, on the day of departure. We suggest you allow 20 minutes for picking up your tickets. Therefore you should allow at least 2 hours and 20 minutes for picking up your tickets, checking in and boarding.

Where do I collect my tickets?

You will need to collect your tickets from the First Choice Desk at the airport. London Gatwick, Manchester and Birmingham airports have more than one terminal, so if you are travelling from any of these your email confirmation will detail which terminal to collect your tickets from.

What is a Ticket Collection Charge?

If your tickets are to be collected at the airport there is a charge, per person, payable at the time of booking. A Ticket Collection Charge is an administration fee for the issue of tickets for holidays booked close to the holiday or flight's departure date. The Ticket Collection Charge period may vary throughout the year, depending upon the time of year and volume of bookings.

Will luggage labels be sent to me?

No, but you can collect luggage labels along with your tickets from the ticket desk from the airport which you are flying from.
