Can I take my duty free purchases on the plane?

Whatever you purchase in the duty free stores after your security check at the departure lounge can be carried on board with you, including liquids over 100ml.

Your duty free purchases will be handed to you in a special sealed bag. Please don’t open this bag until you’ve reached your final destination.

It’s also advisable to keep any receipts from duty free purchases, at least until the end of your journey.

What’s my duty free allowance?

EU from non-EU countries:

• 200 cigarettes or 50 cigars or 250 grams of tobacco
• One litre of spirits
• 250ml eau de toilette
• £145 gifts
