Super vacation in May 2015
My wife and I were at the hotel in late May 2015. / by 22.05.15g. to 30.05.15g. /.Hotelat Is located outside the town in a recreation area on the beach with own words as beaches. The sea is super clean, the water is crystalline, the sand is cleaned every day and leveled, the maximum air temperature was from 24-28 degrees and the water temperature in the sea about 23 degrees. The water in the pool is - hot. The weather was sunny and beautiful beach. There was only one rainy day. Yellow rain came. Everything became dirty yellow. In the morning we saw the hotel staff take care of hygiene in the hotel. All / Head of a gardener / participated in cleaning the deck chairs, alleys, bars and terraces, children's pool as it drained, pochististiha and again filled with water. Kids lunch /12.00 pm. / Were in the pool and the water was crystal! The water in the large pool was filtered and crystal. In the elevator they had put notes that apologizes for the delay in cleaning and maintenance of the rooms! The room is very large with a nice balcony, which overlooks the sea. There kettle, coffee and teas, mineral water loads every day! The bathroom and the toilet is cleaned every day and loaded with shampoo, conditioner, soap and toilet paper. Service anywhere / reception, lobby bar, pool bar, beach bar, barbecue, restaurant, theme restaurant is perfect! The animators are very good! All are smiling, polite and ready to serve you now! We are very pleased servityrkata Sevcan Sever in the main restaurant which served us! Everywhere feel a sense of security!More

We spent one week here last summer travelling with Firstchoice. We enjoyed the large pool and found the staff at the spa very polite. We visited the markets - dont buy anything which is in a packet, only buy what you can see! We found the food at the hotel very good but I did get an upset tummy for a couple of days which lead me to avoid the salads. This did not spoil our holiday but my diet was restricted by only eating cooked food. All the rooms overlook the sea which is a fantastic design. The entertainment was the usual holiday acts and we needed to get up early to secure a sun bed. Overall we would advise this hotel as a good family holiday.More
Nice but not brilliant.
Arrived in the early hours of 29th September. Our party consisted of me and my husband, our son and daughter in law and my mom and her friend. After a long journey we were happy to arrive at our hotel. First impressions of the reception and lobby were good. It seemed light airy and modern and were greeted by helpful members of staff. When we were shown to our rooms we were initially quite pleased. My son requested a high floor which he got and was very pleased. Mine and my husbands room appeared fabulous as we had 2 balconies, one being very large with sun loungers and had all round views and enabled us to see the sun set, which was stunning. There did appear to be a very damp smells in both ours and my moms room (which over our first week did get worse and ended up moving rooms). Once we had settled down I reached for one of the spare pillows which were in the cupboard. When pulling the pillow down there was a mans pair of boxer shorts underneath and did appear that they had been used as they were screwed up. On seeing these boxers I took them down to reception and made the staff aware. The reception staff said it was the people who had used the room before and therefore nothing that they could do. On entering my moms room there was a flood in the bathroom which was reported the following day and for several more times before anything was sorted. On the night that they were having someone to come and seal the shower they were told to be in their room at 9pm. They waited from 8.45 and at 9.30pm my mom telephoned reception however she was told that they knew nothing about the repair. They did send someone up and was sealed after nearly a week of having a constant flood. Food Food ok although very repetitive. However being a fussy eater and a vegetarian who doesn't eat eggs there was still plenty of food for me to eat. When we first arrived there was beetroot for a few days which was gorgeous but then it was stopped and we never saw it again. Bread was most enjoyable. I did not enjoy eating at the snack bar although I enjoyed the jacket potatoes so I went and got myself a jacket potato and took it up to the main restaurant at lunch time and had it with salad. This was enjoyable and can't understand why the main restaurant can not put jacket potatoes on. Al la Carte Restaurants were ok - Mexican 8 out of 10 Turkish 6 out of 10 (food was very cold) Fish restaurant 6.5 out of 10 Indian which the men of the group visited and gave it 9 out of 10. They stated that it would be helpful if mild medium and hot could be displayed on the menu and also vegetarian options were needed as some of the group were not catered for. Drinks were brilliant Wine 10 out of 10 Beer efes 10 out of 10 Plenty of water, soft drinks, teas and coffees available. Some staff were very attentive and pleasant and our cleaners seem very good. Animation team were great and so much fun. The Fire show was very enjoyable although didn't think much of the others. Did however enjoy the singers at the pool side bar. Guest relations were very good and attentive. Rebakah the rep was excellent and professional at difficult times (thank you for all your help). Dogan and Ozgur very attentive and friendly thank you both. Wifi ok at certain times much better at the pool bar. My recommendations would be: Walking through the smoking area with food to get to the non smoking area wasn't nice - smoking should be up the top end. Also on walking into the restaurant, having to walk through the food to sit down should be the other way round food should be at the top end as not only was it busy with people getting food there were people coming through everyone to get to a table. There was a door on the outside (none smoking area) which could be opened as it was quite a walk for my disabled mom. Trips We booked an off road jeep safari with Avesta for £18 per person and was picked up at 9.45 am. After picking other people up we then drove for a short time before we stopped for a toilet / drinks stop (30 mins) After another short drive we stopped for dinner and drinks (30-40 mins) Dinner was in with the price. After 20 minutes drive yet another stop (40 minutes) for a swim. Myself and all the other people on the safari said that we were bored and expected more. Someone commented that it was "a very expensive dolmus ride'. After having done jeep safaris in Portugal and Cyprus which were both very good value and informative I feel this could not be counted as a jeep safari and would urge people not to consider. Had a brilliant enjoyable trip on Taffy's boat if you like fishing and sunset was amazing. I did have an accident whilst getting into the indoor pool. The indoor pool had only just opened that day and the metal steps came out of the ground whilst getting in. I reported this and it took a week to rectify. I am still waiting to hear from First Choice regarding this.... Nice holiday but would not return.More
One week restart in a luxurious hotel
It was our perfect last minute choice for travelling in the middle of September. Surrounding grounds and gardens were being taken care of really well (thanks to the hard-working gardeners). As for the food, it was always freshly made, with everyday variation, stuff was very pleasant and they even remembered our names. There is also a wide range of restaurants and bars. Rooms were cleaned daily. As for the mess - the hotel, including the beach, was flawless. Although it was not one of those perfect sandy beaches, rather one with oversized sand stones, you will get used to this type of feet massage really soon, so do not worry about it. Thanks to the service and general relaxed atmosphere, we received our needed restart in 8 days and left this place with tanned skin and a big smile on our faces.More
Comfortable hotel, excellent food
Venosa resort is a well designed and efficiently run, except for the not very helpful Reception. This was compensated by the restaurant manager Mr Hudaverdi and his efficient and pleasant team. The food was always fresh and varied. Would happily go back to Venosa More
