This new hotel teams chic interiors with a great pool scene, 5 restaurants, and panoramic sea views.
This beachfront hotel has a top location – it backs on to a shingle beach, and is a short hop on the bus from the centre of Altinkum and the ancient village of Didim.
Things here centre on the pool scene. There’s a huge pool plus a set of waterslides, all in a great spot overlooking the sea.

We Have Enjoyed This Hotel For Three Years
We Have been to the Venosa, for Three Years running and it gets better each year, we have had no complaints at all, the food was Fab, All The Staff were Excellent, and the Cleanliness is to a very high Standard, Fat Boy and Billy were always helpful when wanting a massage or spa,Mario and the Animation Crew were Great, and were more then Happy to talk with us, which made us feel welcome, First Year we went was for 7 days, second year 10days and this year 14 days, i think this says it all,For us it is a perfect Holiday. Transfer from Airport is about 1hour 30 mins :-) and as always people have different views, But We LOVE ITMore

This Hotel was better than I expected it to be and was as the brochure shows which can not always be the case. We had a lovely sea view as all rooms have at no extra charge. Our room was spacious, clean and to a good standard. The restaurant was one of the best I have been to in an all inclusive, as you could sit outside if you choose which was lovely and more like eating in a restaurant which as I have experienced in all inclusive it can sometime feel very canteen like. The food choice was immense and to a good quality with fresh food being cooked behind the counter. It was not always piping hot but unless your eating in a restaurant where food is being cooked to order then it is never going to be. I suggest people who complain about this rethink all inclusive hotels. The dessert choice was fab too again I do not understand people saying there wasn't, again the best I have seen in All Inclusive. The service we received at the restaurant was fantastic, We usually sat where Ahmet and Osman were working as they were an absolute credit to this hotel and I hope that management recognise this. There is plenty of different places to sit and have a drink day or night, the pool snack bar was fab and the barman there was lovely I didn't catch his name. The pool bar was ok, but I have to be honest the young girl not sure on her name, quite short could be rude at times and it felt a bit like an effort for her to serve you. The lobby bar open 24 hours, I have just seen someone's review saying no alcohol after 11 or 12, this bar was open all night 24 hours and there is also a nightclub you can get drinks from. The pool is massive so you never feel like your on top of anybody, I lol at a comment on another review about the lady who gives towels out at the pool scowling, she also scowled at us most mornings, but this amuse me more than anything as I would say hello again if she ignored us until she did respond. The Animation team put music on and danced now and again around the pool this was not an all day thing so music was NOT being blared out all day. And if don't like it there are places far enough away to sit by the pool. There mixed with the guest but were never annoying. I have to be honest the entertainment was not great at night which is a shame as they have a lovely amphitheatre outside which I feel is not being made the most of. The guitar playing also got a bit boring every night around the pool par. The wifi is a bit hit and miss although it is all over the hotel. I think when the hotel is full it is more of an issue, fantastic all the time in the lobby though. As so many have said the spa is fab I think everyone should pay a visit. We never got harassed and went down and asked for list of treatments and prices. Nice not to be hounded around the sunbeds as we experienced in Egypt. Fatboy and Billy will be o had to help most days. There is a sports bar two minutes from hotel if anyone feels to watch the footie. Really lovely people in there and if you fancy a change foods fab and very reasonable. The only thing about this hotel for me was not being able to just go for a walk in the evening and maybe browsing around a few shops as you had to get bus to Altinkum although not far its not the same as going for a stroll after dinner. Its residential area so nowhere to walk. Beware of the shop that sells lilos as he did try to overcharge us once or twice so just keep an eye out. All in all this is a fantastic hotel defiantly 4 star platinum as Thomson rate it.More

Excellent holiday, amazing location
Large hotel on its own with amazing sea views from all rooms. Lovely pool and gardens. Staff are really nice and friendly, especially Sevcan and Sevim with their 'number 1 service' in the restaurant. Food the usual buffet, ok but never that hot. Worth going to the a la carte restaurants though. Only negative thing is the 1.5 hour bus transfer with Lewis Hamilton.More
Looks good but the experience is something else
The Venosa Hotel is a Modern, multi storey hotel constructed close to the beach of a peninsular approx 3 kilometres from the town of Altinkum. There is nothing of interest to do in the immediate area of the hotel but the town is easily accessible by the regular and cheap ‘Dolmus’ minibus service that stops directly outside the entrance. The hotel is well appointed, clean and is generally maintained to a reasonable standard overall. Our room was large and had two balconies. All the rooms have a sea view. Several of our party had Spa treatments that they reported to be excellent and good value for money. The beer and wine were reasonable but only available until 11.00pm and coffee was available at all times. However the good bits stop there. The initial peace around the pool was shattered on day one when the 20something ‘animation’ team started their daily programme. The events are fine but they are accompanied by very loud clubbing style music that is played almost continuously around the main pool, at high volume, for most of the day. From 10.00 to 17.30 it is simply not possible to get peaceful relaxation around the pool or indeed anywhere in the grounds. Music is a very personal thing, and it is available in so many forms now, so why this Hotel think they have the right to impose their taste and volume on the guests all day long is a question I did not receive a satisfactory answer to. Some of the food was OK but is monotonous and we had some serious concerns that food hygiene standards were not acceptable. One of our party had stomach problems whilst we were there and most others developed similar problems in the two days after returning. Any comments at the time were met with disinterest. The atmosphere of the main buffet restaurant is similar to a school canteen on the inside. Outside it is much better but only 25% is non-smoking. When I tried to discuss things with guest relations I stood in front of the desk for 30 seconds (try this to see how long it really is) whilst the guest relations person texted on her phone without even looking up at me or acknowledging my presence. I left. This is not a 5* hotel even by Turkish standards. If you are hard of hearing, or want to be, you are a smoker and have a very strong stomach then this is the place for you. If you want some relaxation, quality food and a reasonable dining environment, then give this place a miss.More

Hotel on arriving was very good, clean and a great sea view from our room. Nice that every guest has a sea view and not have to pay extra for one. Day 2 of our holiday I suffered an extreme upset stomach which lasted for 4 days, the rep was informed and we felt was quite dismissive of what appears to have been a problem for numerous guests. Flies were evident in the restaurant and I felt food hygiene was lacking in this hotel. For a supposedly a 5* hotel the variety was poor and at times Luke warm. We did go to the mermaid restaurant and it was the best meal we had all week. Waiters were friendly however it was off putting being served and having to smell their body odour, this is unacceptable. Hotel beach was spotless however on walking to the local beach next door it was littered with rubbish including babies nappies. We were very disappointed with the whole experience and will not be returning to this hotel or indeed turkey.More
