This new hotel teams chic interiors with a great pool scene, 5 restaurants, and panoramic sea views.
This beachfront hotel has a top location – it backs on to a shingle beach, and is a short hop on the bus from the centre of Altinkum and the ancient village of Didim.
Things here centre on the pool scene. There’s a huge pool plus a set of waterslides, all in a great spot overlooking the sea.

We stayed end of August beginning of sept and I do agree with some of the previous reviews. We arrived late due to a delay and there was poor communication at the reception and no Thompson rep to help us. We were a large group with 3 rooms in total and did request rooms together. Unfortunately we were spread from one side of the hotel to the other. Beds hard, with a lack of pillows. Although rooms were nice and the view was lovely. Did have to ask for towels on one occasion as none left in the room. Food was ok. Jacket potatoes at pool bar at lunch were delicious. I have had much better food at other hotels in Turkey though. Did enjoy the Indian al a carte however limited choice on the menu. Pool area lovely, plenty of shade if you wanted it. Only struggled for sunbeds on 1 occasion. Enjoyed the pool bar for lunch and the beach bar in the evening where there was chilled out entertainment on. There were never any big cues at the bars so you never had to wait long. Entertainment team were good. The fire show was brilliant. Really enjoyed the evening market and visiting altinkum. Overall a good holiday with beautiful weather but personally would not returnMore
Great place to stay
The hotel is about 20 minutes drive from the town. The bus stop is right outside the hotel and easy to catch. The food was excellent, always a huge variety to choose from and all at the right temperature. The liver was our favourite, very tender. We tried the A la Carte fish restaurant and was very impressed with the service and taste. We didn't go much on evening entertainment. It's either because it's out of season (Sept) or because they were on their last month of service but we thought the majority of the people were foreigners mainly Turkish. Having locals in the hotel is normally a good sign but in my opinion everything was directed to them more than to all nationalities. The swimming pools are very big and there is plenty of sunbeds but we spent most of our days on the beach. The sunbeds are free on the beach and the beach is only a short walk to the bar to top up your drinks or ice-creams. The room was quite big with twin beds and the bathroom had a walk in shower and not a bath which I liked. Toiletries weren't replaced on a daily basis. In fact ours were only replaced once in the week we were there. The bottle of water in the fridge was the same. Unless you ask for it, you don't get it. The housekeeper came to clean our room at 1630 almost everyday so a couple of times we had to say not to clean our room but only change our towels as we wanted to have a siesta or get ready to go out around this time. I have never been on holiday and the room is cleaned so late in the day. The receptionists are nice but I can. now understand why some people on their reviews said that language is a barrier. It can be quite frustrating at times. The highlight of our stay was the Spa at this hotel. It was our silver anniversary whilst we were there so we treated ourselves to some treatment. OMG what an experience. They were professionals in everything they do, all very friendly and very caring from the minute we walked in. We had the VIP package and it was well worth every penny. I would do the whole thing again if I could. Thanks guys for all the detail and attention you gave to make our day such a memorable one. Thanks to "fatboy" (Slim boy) too even though we met him after we'd visited the spa. Such a lovely guy. The nightclub was not open for the first 4 days as there was entertainment outside but when they started closing the pool bar in the evenings, the nightclub was open every night. We visited this for a dance and a drink on 2 occasions but the music was more for the younger generation. It's what I call one beat for all songs. One last thing, the views from all the rooms are sea view and you can see the sun rise every morning if you were up early enough but don't expect to have a cuppa with it as there was no milk, tea or coffee even though there was tea/coffee making facilities. I always take Tetley with me but it was no use if there was no milk available. When I asked for it they didn't understand me so I let it go until I asked for some milk at the bar one night before we went to our room. I did this every night from then onwards. I like my tea in the morning. All in all we had a great time and we might return one day. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a chillout break.More
Great hotel family fun
Read all previous reviews before we travelled on 5th September 2016 and was very apprehensive but I can honestly say the Venosa Beach is a fantastic hotel , 2 bed family room was great and spacious and cleaned every morning around 10.30 am which was a bonus , the food was varied and lots of choice , we all enjoyed the breakfast the most , entertainment brilliant, staff were friendly and always made you feel welcome , really would recommend this hotel , there is a bar which is about 50 yards walk down the road great for English football great owner made you feel so welcome, would without a doubt return to this hotel More
Gorgeous Hotel â¤ï¸
This was our chosen hotel for our little boys first holiday abroad and it did not disappoint! Upon arrival we was so impressed with the decor and atmosphere we already knew we were about to have the best holiday! If I'm being picky, through no fault of the hotel, the transfer time was a little too long for my liking and for the bladder of my then potty trained one year old it lead to a few accidents, but like I say, this is no fault just stating a little problem I found. We were led to our room which was a lower floor room and it was beautiful, I fell in love from the moment we walked in and wouldn't change a thing, the rooms were spacious and had everything we needed as well as fresh bottled water restocked every day which I think was a great added extra. The first night of food I fell in love with all the options even down to the little buffet area for the kids. The pool water was a little too cold for me in a morning, however later on in the day it was much appreciated as the weather was glorious every day!! The staff were all amazing! The rooms were cleaned every day and the whole experience was lovely xxxxxMore
