At the Yellow Alvor Garden, the clue’s in the name – it’s a peaceful place surrounded by good-looking gardens.
Relaxation is the theme at the Yellow Alvor Garden. That goes for the pool area, the laid-back entertainment scene, and the big gardens.
The fishing village of Alvor is less than a 20-minute walk away – or less, if you jump on the shuttle bus to the beach.

Im going back with my Neice, her family and my sister that says it all.perfect holiday
The shower was hot and powerful and as with the living area cleaned every day.staff were helpful and couldn't do enough to make our stay special. The new chef produces a wide variety of dishes of which I sampled most.my son and girlfriend do not vary in diet in England but have both put on weight whilst there.this is the only hotel I have ever stayed in that I didn't need to put a towel out to save a sun bed the lay ins were awesome. The pools were cleaned every day and as with the gardens and surrounding areas were perfect and well kept.I went as a holiday maker and am going back to see staff like nelson who are now my friends. If you go to this hotel and are not happy with something just ask and they will do their utmost to put it right.the management and directors run a tight ship there and are very approachable.Enjoy your stay thereMore
Long weekend at yellow gardem
Expected not such a great time given the negative reviews but... the hotel was clean and rooms functional. The pool and gardens were superb. Food was good for breakfast, snacks and lunch but we preferred to eat out of an evening. All in all very good and the negative comments I suspect were people expecting U.K. 4 star not European 4 star. More
This was the worst holiday I have ever been on. I am writing this 6 months after the trip and I have to be honest, my feelings have not changed. The hotel is dire and in great need of refurbishment and overall improvement. The food was awful and although we had paid for all inclusive, we had to eat out most of the time. The hotel was overrun with out of control children which is not the hotels fault but it made our stay intolerable. I asked our tour operator to be moved and even now, they have not answered my request. The staff were ok, some of them very nice and polite but the man who was on the desk on arrival was impolite and even rude, we were just handed the room key and pointed in the right direction. There is no bottled water provided, you have to fill glasses or any saved bottles from the water fountain in reception. The rooms are very basic and the bed hard and very uncomfortable. Very, very dated. Like something out of "the Shining". There really are not any positives about this place in my opinion and I am a very seasoned traveller. If you do go, don't have high expectations and then you can't be disappointed.More
Very basic. Tired hotel. Not a great food choice either. Grounds of the hotel next to pool are beautiful, although the front of the hotel looks shocking. Old closed down tennis courts etc. We went the first week of the season and lists if the facilities weren't open. More
Clean. Lovely setting. Nice thoughtful staff.
Hotel a little far out but if your not planning on going far perfect. Room was small but spotless we don't spend much time in the room so not important to us the size. We arrived late so a packed lunch was made for us incase we hadn't eaten perfect for the kids. Pool area very nice (pools heavily chlorinated, my only real complaint). The food was very nice for all inclusive mostly very fresh and tasty, you can't please all the people all the time. All inclusive bar open till midnight. Drinks good no burning my insides on super cheap Gin. Slushys and ice cream available for the kids. Water dispensers all over the place. The town itself 10 min walk but nice bar and some shops. No crazy golf tho!!! I am a fussy bugger so my family shocked I was happy with the place. For what we paid and what we got a huge thumbs up. Sort the chlorine out tho!! Wifi good by the pool and all public areas. None in room but On holiday so not important.More
