Hotel Diana Palace

This central hotel is a real favourite with guests, thanks to its great pool scene and nearby beach.

This compact hotel has just 130 rooms, giving it a warm, intimate feel. Outside there’s a big pool in among the gardens. And on the dining front, there’s a big buffet restaurant and barbecue nights.

The hotel’s on one of Argassi’s main streets, so there are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. It’s a 5-minute stroll from the beach, while 5 minutes in the car will get you to the capital, Zante Town.

Memorable holiday

Me and my boyfriend went on our first holiday together last September and decided to go to Zante and stay at this hotel. We had read really good reviews and based on that we booked it. After we found out about a facebook group dedicated to the hotel and how great it was to read everything on there and all the little tips you can find on there before you fly off to Zante. The hotel itself is good. Nothing to comment about. We were welcomed with a nice drink from Illias and were showed to our room. We did have an issue with our safe on the first day but after we mentioned it someone came to our room soon after to fix it. The rest of the holiday was just very pleasant and fun too. We were out quite a lot on trips but the time we spend in the hotel was great. Pool was clean and quite big (you've got a small one in the back too). The food was lovely, something different every evening. Only breakfast was quite the same every morning. Me, not being an English person, am not a big fan of a typical English breakfast and unfortunately the amount of English people there is quite high so they focus on them a lot. The animation team was lovely, they include everybody, adults, teenagers, children. Things to do for every age. My boyfriend became the ping pong master after beating everyone. Staff - what do I have to say.. You were amazing, every single on of you. You always helped us out whenever we had a question. We enjoyed getting our drinks at night from Illias and the jokes we got from Orlando during dinner. We loved having a chat with you and hearing all your stories. Argassi is very nice to stay at. Free buses everyday to two lovely beaches near by. Peter's around the corner to plan some great trips, and shops/bars all around you. Everyone at Diana Palace, yamas! Thank you so much for a perfect first holiday.More

Stayed at Diana Palace from 23rd October for 1 week. Came for my sons 18th birthday, which was celebrated with a free birthday cake and a " Happy birthday" song by everyone at the hotel, this was a lovely gesture. We have never been to a family run hotel before and really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, you really are treated like old friends immediately. Stathis and Ilias are worth there wait in GOLD !!!,Alex was very patient with my rather drunk husband, who could not understand the rules of a competition he had accidently entered, priceless. Katerina was lovely, she organised the cake and was always there to help with anything she could. Thank you also to the chef who on a couple of occasions cooked my son some plain meat as he didn't like anything on offer for that evening, much apprectiated as the resort was closed so no option to eat elsewhere. Overall a fabulous holiday, hope to come back again soon xxxMore

Fantastic hotel

We booked this hotel because of the reviews and we weren't disappointed . Lovely hotel and the most amazing staff I have ever experienced , a special mention to the two guys who worked the bar, they asked my name on the first day and throughout the holiday they never forgot my name or what I drank . They all made the whole holiday without a doubt. They just couldn't do enough for you and nothing was too much trouble at all, they certainly are a credit to the hotel. The food was good , not all to my liking but it was nice. The only negative I have about the hotel was the non existent wifi. Now for some people that might not be anything to dislike but for myself I like to check in on Facebook watch YouTube etc. But with the wifi in the hotel that wasn't possible so I ended up having to purchase some data packages from my provider so I could get on the net. I did bring this up with the hotel reception and they brought an engineer in after the third day and it worked great for a day but then stopped working again the day after. The resort itself of Agassi looked like a nice place but unfortunately because we went towards the end of 'the season' I'd say about 90% of it was shut. Lastly if you're the type of person who enjoys a beach holiday then don't go to Agassi as there is no beach at all. More

Amazing as always...

Wow, what can I say that hasn't already been said. This was my 3rd trip to Diana Palace. As soon as you walk through the door, you are greeted like a family member on a visit. They are always so welcoming. You don't have to be a repeat visitor to get special attention. They were the same way the first time I visited. They go out of their way to give you a shout and a wave. I do mean that they actually all your name. I have never felt more at ease anywhere in the world, than when I'm at Diana Palace. Each and every single member of staff is a very special person. They are a big part of what made my holiday special. Ignore negative reviews. These people who sit and complain would still do so if they were n a 5* hotel. There is no satisfying some people. The weather was fantastic. You feel completely safe walking the streets, early in the morning, or late at night. I have never seen any kind of scuffle or fight or trouble of any kind. The Greek people are always so friendly. This despite all their troubles and woes over the past few months. Yet the hospitality they offer is still amazing. I can't wait to return to see everyone again. It's the one thing that I look forward to every year. Love to you all. You all do an amazing job with war welcoming smiles on your faces. Thank you for making all of my holidays very special.xxxxxMore
