The staff was great.
This hotel has a great beach and a wonderful staff. Vlad Zagrinovsky helped to resolve a booking problem with the travel agency. He was very efficient and friendly. Guest Service Lead, Ms. Pawinee was extremely patient and helpful. It is really important when you do need help.More
Lovely Hotel, Wonderful Staff, Food Not The Best
Just returned from this hotel and it was lovely. It's so close to the beach you can almost dip your toes in the sea...Marvelous. Check-In was quick and efficient. We were given a welcome drink whilst they were sorting out the key cards and then escorted to our room. This was quickly followed by a porter arriving with our luggage. The room was very spacious with everything and more you needed and had a welcome fruit plate waiting for us ...Robes, Slippers, Flip Flops, Plug in Bug Killer (which they gave the replacement tablets for every day), full tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, water (replaced every day), safe (free), hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and an array of other bathroom goodies. It's save to assume they left nothing out. We were on the third floor (there is no lift but no issue if you are able bodied) and had a lovely view of the pool and sea. The two bars are well run and during the day you can order from the snack menu if you don't want to go to the main buffet.. (It's not snacks such as crisps and peanuts but things for lunch like, pizza, burgers, soup etc...I found the food here to be better than in the restaurant. There are two restaurants. The main one is a buffet. There was a large selection however the quality wasn't very good and an over abundance of lemon grass is used in most dishes. The best meal of the day is definitely breakfast, it's vast with all tastes and nationalities cater for. The other restaurant is a seafood one which if like us you are on all inclusive you have to book the day before. The food here is better on the whole but I think it depends on who is cooking as it wasn't always consistent. There are three pools (if you include the infant one). They are all well tended and cleaned everyday, lots of sunbeds and they come round with call buttons so you can have waiter service pool side. There is an issue with bed reserving and some people even took to putting their towels out at 6:30 am. The other issue is reserving lounges and then them being unused all day. However we always managed to find a sun lounger as there are plenty to go around. Daytime entertainment is okay if you are French or German. The animation team made no attempt to include other nationalities nor did they try to engage with us. They also double up as the evening entertainment on certain nights. It's poor at best. The hotel have a resident duo which are quite good but sadly they repeat the same songs each evening which becomes monotonous after a while. Other entertainment include traditional dancers and warrior fighting displays both of which are very entertaining. The jewel in the crown for this hotel are the staff. Housekeeping, gardeners, maintenance, reception, waiters, waitress's and bar staff do an absolute stellar job. they always have a smile and a welcoming word.More
Peaceful, Clean, Excellent Service
We spent two night at this hotel on Bangtao Bay. I think the hotel is a great value. Our room was very clean. The property was nice. The Service from check in to check out was very good. I didn't love the hotel restaurant, but there are several good options within walking distance of the hotel. The small town has everything you need. If your looking for a relatively peaceful location on Phuket this is a great choice.More
An convenient level of service and service time along with the beautiful and amazing water surface and beach that naturally allows you to have the best relaxing experience and good sleeping habits. I have really enjoyed the daily breakfasts and the evening dinner dish of fish and chips associated with the calming sounds of waves and enjoyable running windy climate followed by rains every now and then. Staff is very friendly and smiling all the time. The location is amazing and the beach is clean and the water has seven colors ranging from dark blue to light green. Wifi is good but needs improvement. Thank you for the nice time I spent there. More
Booked this hotel following great reviews. Now here can't see what the fuss is. Arrived to be "upgraded" to a room I didn't want. I was specific in my booking so why couldn't the hotel honour that. Despite signage if you're not down before 7.30 you've no chance of a decent lounger as they are covered in towels that the hotel provide. I asked the towel attendant about it but they weren't interested. Then lots of the prime reserved loungers lie empty most of the day. Also the place is a French / German tour operators patch so they are main guests which doesn't bother me but could some British travellers. Hotel is clean with nice pools and good beach but lots of shade due to lots of trees. Bar area is soulless and service and cocktails both poor. Breakfast is nice but a bit of a rabble when busy. Could be a nice place but the sunbed issue ruined it. Shame as the management could sort it easily. 4 beds next to me as I write have been reserved for 4 hours with no sign of anybody.More
