Hotel Flamingo Oasis

A prime Benidorm address and top entertainment put this place in pole position.

This hotel has location on its side – there are shops, bars and restaurants just across the way and Levante beach is 15-minutes’ walk from here.

The pool scene is highly rated, which is partly down to a big lagoon pool. The bar count totals 4, and lots of thought has gone into the entertainment, with things like West-End style shows.

Enjoyable holiday.

We stayed 2nd - 9th May 2015. We stayed in the Club room on 21st floor. We chose this as it is an area that under 16s can not go to and it was worth the extra for us. The food caters for all types of taste. The club rooms have their own room on the 24th floor with free wifi and branded drinks...serve yourself. Quiet pool and bar on the 25th floor. No queuing for meals and separate area to eat . Fridge in the room filled daily with bottled water. Free safe. Kettle with well stocked coffee, tea and so onThese extras are not available in non-club rooms. We noted that the staff were always cleaning throughout the hotel. We found on the whole the staff were very helpful and polite. We believe that when faced with parents of unruly children the staff became a bit a bit impatient. This is understandable as we did too. Yes the entertainment was a bit dated but the effort put in by the staff balances this up. We spoke to a lot of guest and all had said that they had stayed elsewhere in Benidorm and always returned to this hotel. We are planning to do he same.More

Great facilities, staff and food

We stayed at the beginning of May, 2 in their 70's, 2 in their 30's/40's and a toddler. Check in is a little slow, but they recognise this and bring drinks while you queue. Our room was clean and bright with all the expected amenities. We never got disturbed at night, although we slept with the patio doors shut. I'm not sure what the people who are complaining about the food usually eat. There was something for everyone. Over the week I saw fish, beef, turkey, pork and kebab's on the carvery, curries, stew's, pies, bolognese, meatballs, tofu, masses of salad and veg, rice, pasta and cheese. There are burgers, chips, hotdogs and beans there too if you've got fussy kids. The entertainment is stuck in the 80's a bit, they are doing the same kids songs as they were when my parents took me. Agadoo, Superman and the Hokey Cokey doesn't cut it with today's kids. Even the pre-schoolers were asking for Gangnam Style and Taylor Swift - but the entertainment team work so so hard putting on the shows it's hard to knock them. The majority of guests were fine, as with every holiday there were groups getting up at the crack of dawn to lay towels on sunbeds, and some terribly wasteful people in the restaurant. Talking about sunbeds, we always managed to find somewhere to sit even though we only went to the pool in the afternoon, so sunbed saving isn't really necessary. One last thing, if you're reading Hotel Flamingo Oasis ... WiFi - you need free WiFi - nowhere charges these days! All in all, it's great for couples and families but if you're looking for action and staying up all night you'd be better off staying more centrally. I'd go again, and I'm a snob!More

mrsh133,

Excellent service

just returned from one weeks stay at this hotel, couldn't fault it! Waiters were excellent, very friendly and helpful. We stayed in 1204 which was very nice and comfortable, no noise at all at night. Rooms cleaned daily to a high standard. Reception staff and Thompson reps were all helpful. Good location and easy access to buses which enables you to explore. Despite what others say I thought their was a good selection of food to meet all tastes. Thank you to all the staff for making our break enjoyableMore

Fantastic flamingo

Just arrived today at the flamingo oasis and I am amazed at some of the bad reviews. Firstly it's the cleanest and most friendly hotel you could get. Secondly from getting of the bus to getting in my hotel room was 10 mins some people say slow no was really quick the staff are really nice the food is spot on and I know i am really going to enjoy this holiday and hotel. Take no notice of bad reviews entertainment is supposed to be 2nd to none and looks that way with line ups I've seen will update at end of my stay but so far perfect went for a look inside some other hotels and this one looks the one to beat in benidorm. Can't believe it gets bad reviews and some I've read are not true and petit 100 per cent 4 star class. More

Hallimond14,

bad food and bad staff

4 stars what a joke the food is terrible the staff are worse apart from the cleaners the hotel itself was ok and clean I went to the pool bar in my bathers and was told out by the barman and he pointed to a sign which said you cant go in the pool bar in bathers so whats the point in having a pool bar I spoke to other guests at the hotel that had stayed there before and they said it had really gone down hill since they last stayed and they would not go back nether will I ever go back there I have been to Benidorm twice before and will go again I stayed in the ambassador and sol pelicanos and they were much betterMore
