A prime Benidorm address and top entertainment put this place in pole position.
This hotel has location on its side – there are shops, bars and restaurants just across the way and Levante beach is 15-minutes’ walk from here.
The pool scene is highly rated, which is partly down to a big lagoon pool. The bar count totals 4, and lots of thought has gone into the entertainment, with things like West-End style shows.

Not 4* - disappointed is an understatement
I don't know where to start with this review. I will open with the Club option. We decided to treat ourselves to the Club upgrade, I would not recommend it to anyone. Our friends are downstairs in the regular rooms and they are perfectly comfortable. The Club lounge is an absolute joke. You cannot remove any food or drink from the lounge (we didn't know this when we booked). This means that when the club lounge is busy, and the small balcony is occupied, you cannot take a can of beer or soft drink to your room. If you try to take a drink from the lounge then the passive aggressive attendant (dark haired lady with the glasses) will shout at you, this is accompanied by tutting from the other lounge guests as its pretty much a criminal offence! The roof terrace. This is a nice space with a small bar and plenty of sun beds. It was windy up there so i would recommend clips to hold your towel down. Other then that its a perfectly nice place to sunbathe. Now for the rest of the hotel facilities. Food - On a whole the food was disappointing. The first morning i went for breakfast and got the english breakfast option. The scrambled egg had a nasty chemical taste to it and the sausages were awful. For Club guests there is a private eating area, however, it offers no benefit. The rest of the meals were of an equally disappointing nature, with the exception of desserts which were nice. Facilities - Pool tables are a no go unless you want to spend your entire game going to reception to report the white ball getting stuck, the balls not coming out or to get your money back. â¬2 a game. The pool table on the Club roof terrace was equally bad with the added bonus of getting splinters as they haven't got proper cues. Mini golf is a waste of time, 6 holes all in a terrible condition. Ping pong paddles are all torn with no rubber on and the tables are all in a bad condition. The evening entertainment was extremely unentertaining and in a way that made it comical. So actually entertaining, in a strange way. Even more entertaining was the morning rush for sun beds, downstairs, which should have been accompanied by the Benny Hill tune. The cleaners in the hotel do a great job and it is always clean and tidy. Especially the rooms. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Many people we have spoken to have stayed elsewhere in Benidorm previously and are of the same opinion. This hotel does not deserve 4 stars and I have no idea how it got them.More

Great family hotel
The flamingo oasis hotel is a fantastic hotel having just stayed there for two weeks from 2 September to 16th 2016 I have nothing but praise for this place. Were to begin well firstly it's location is great for most things it's in the heart of benidorm town centre and there are shops and bars of all descriptions to cater for all budgets and the beach is just a ten minute stroll away Rooms: we had two twin bed rooms with pool view they are pretty basic but with plenty of wardrobe space and a nice big double sinked bathroom equipped with hairdryer and beday a flat screen TV with about 20 English channels including sky sports for the blokes and a couple of kids channels too there is a 12 euro deposit for the remote but you get that back there is no kettle or tea not coffee making facilities wich I think just let's it down also no refrigerator but one can be hired for around 40⬠a week the rooms have air con and a safe but you have to pay for the safe . Cleaning: no problems on this front our room was cleaned every day and the hotel is kept spotless by a team of hard working staff who always say hello with a smile Pool area: the main pool is quite big with plenty of room for a good swim but is very busy you will need to get down early as there is a rush for sun beds every morning but everyone seems to find a good spot Entertainment: there are loads of things going on here with at least two main types every day for 3 age groups kids teens and adults with the usual favourites like killer pool and archery even shooting with air rifles French bowls ping pong and many more with certificates up for grabs for the winners. The evening entertainment is of a very good standard with singers and musicals and even a drag act well worth a watch just for his comical version of let it go the entertainment team work very hard all day and night to keep the guests happy and are all very approachable nothing is too much trouble for them so get involved it really made our holiday Food: I can't find fault here as it was all of a very good standard with joints of fresh meat available most nights or a fish course there is plenty to choose from but as with all hotels after two weeks it can get a little repeated the kids found something to eat every time and we all came home needing to go on a diet the cakes and ice cream flow freely and are very nice there is also plenty of fresh fruit and salad for those who are healthy eaters they will also do a packed lunch for anyone going out for the day that consists of a bottle of water a apple or banana a yoghurt two sandwiches and a cake There is also snacks available from 11 till 6pm from the pool bar I found the chicken nuggets as good as any I've had from my Donald's they also do pizza. chips and cheese and ham toasties so there is no need for anyone to go hungry at this hotel i have read some of the bad reviews and just can't understand what these people are expecting at a all inclusive resort Bars: there are two main bars and the pool bar and a third that's just open on a evening when the shows are on. the lager is samiguel and the cider is strongbow all spirits are local but branded spirits are available at a cost there is a different cocktail on everyday with a alcohol free version for the kids the bar staff are friendly enough and I was never waiting too long to be served but they do close at 12 on the button. Amenities: the hotel has a little shop a football pitch that my son loved a 6 hole crazy golf course French bowls area table tennis tables a cinema and a well stocked kids play zone with all the games for them to spend there pocket money on there is a fully equipped gym but I never used it so can't comment on it the indoor pool was closed so can't comment on that either I think it also had a spa and hairdressers Conclusion: would I recommend this hotel to others yes I would no problem. Would I go back yes we will it's been one of the best hotels we have stayed in the only thing that let it down for me was not having a fridge and no tea and coffee making facilities in the standard rooms More
Well what a surprise
First of all I have to say a big thank you to Agustin, Luisa, Teo and the restaurant manager, whose name I did not catch, they are a credit to this hotel. My husband and I spent two weeks here during which we celebrated our silver wedding anniversary. We told Agustin the day before our anniversary and paid 10 euros for wine and a cake. When we arrived for our anniversary meal, they took us to our table which was laid out with green and white table clothes, champagne glasses with green napkins, champagne bucket with a bottle of blue sparkling cava on ice, and a big basket of fruit. At the end of the meal they brought out a lovely cake iced with happy 25 years annivrsay on it, they did everything they could to make our night a special one. So once again thankyou. Now, onto the hotel itself, after reading various reviews we were a bit worried, but I can honestly say the staff from the cleaners to reception were very good and polite. We had a double twin which was spacious and cleaned every day. On the whole the food was good and we had no trouble finding something to eat. The entertainment wasn't too bad and there were some good tribute acts. We didn't do the famous sunbed rush, but we always found somewhere in the sun to sit. The not so good bits was the noise from people slamming doors late at night eg 3am, the first week the people in the room next door were either swearing at each other, chasing each other up and down the room and generally being so noisy it was hard to think. The next week the new holiday makers arrived at 3am and made so much noise it could wake the dead, this continued until we left so I pity whoever gets our room next. You also had to hire a fridge and remote control for the tv. I would definetly stay here again but would have a club room.More
