Hotel Rio Park

You'll find stylish, modern décor at this popular hotel, along with easy access to Benidorm's main strip.

This imposing building might look like a typical Benidorm hotel from the outside. But, thanks to a refurb, inside it's all funky retro-style sofas and contemporary cream lounge chairs. The big pool is one of the highlights.

Location-wise, you're in a quiet road less than a 10-minute walk from Benidorm's major bars and restaurants. And when you want to hit the sands, Levante Beach is a 15-minute walk away.

Another fantastic holiday

Just returned back home last week, from my 1week stay at the rio park. It is my second year at the hotel. What a fabulous holiday, loved every minute of it. I travelled with 3 other adults and 2 children aged 2 and 9. There is plenty for everyone. I was happy to see the new entertainment this year (day and night) it was brilliant. The food is fantastic, something for everyone. Hotel drink and snack prices brilliant. Great location. I give this hotel 11 out of 10. Would recommend it to anyone.More

Michelle2406,

Excellent family holiday

Myself, husband and two sons aged 7 and 10 years stayed in the Rio Park hotel for 1 weeks half board in the August school holidays. We were given one of the family rooms separate from the main hotel which were an adequate size for a family of 4. My only criticism about the room was it was very noisy on a night time as you could hear all of the table and chairs being cleared away and the light outside the door lit up the room. The problem was soon sorted by reception who had the handyman remove the bulb for us which solved the problem. The reception staff were always helpful and friendly. The food was great and there was always lots to choose from, the hotel definitely deserves more than a 2 star rating. The entertainment was excellent and the team work very hard with their performances such as the 100 years of cinema and dirty dancing which I really enjoyed. The kids disco could do with becoming a little more modern in their song choices as every evening it was constantly old stuff like superman and the music man. Excellent pool which was split into 3 sections so plenty of room to swim or just mess around with the kids. There is a lifeguard but to be honest he spends more time looking at his phone than he does looking at the pool area so no point in him being there really! I would definitely return to this hotel should I visit Benidorm again in the near future.More

1st visit to Rio Park

My wife and I have recently returned from Rio Park and were pleasantly surprised at how good this hotel is considering its official rating of 2 Stars. Thomson rate it as 3 Star and we agree with this. In fact its probably better than some of the 4 star hotels that we've stayed in. Hotel is very clean and rooms a good size. Beds comfortable except for those horrible noisy and wrinkly mattress covers. Dining room was ok. Plenty of choice both at breakfast and evening dinner. Some days better than others but that's down to individual choice. One woman was complaining bitterly to the management that she hadn't seen a soft egg during the fortnight. How sad! Not true anyway, you just had to wait for a fresh tray to arrive. Staff were generally very friendly. We thought the evening entertainment was very good. Usually hotel entertainment is rubbish but this team were well worth watching. The poolside bar staff were first class. You only had to order once and they remembered for the rest of your stay! We didn't use the pool as it was difficult to get a sunbed unless you were up at the crack of dawn. We preferred the beach which is about 10 minutes stroll away. Only downside was that coming back was uphill. Not a steep slope but could cause a problem for anyone with mobility problems. There are bars/restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel but the lively areas are a few minutes away. Would we stay here again? Yes we would certainly consider returning to Rio Park if we visit Benidorm again. V good value for price paid.More
