Hotel Rio Park

You'll find stylish, modern décor at this popular hotel, along with easy access to Benidorm's main strip.

This imposing building might look like a typical Benidorm hotel from the outside. But, thanks to a refurb, inside it's all funky retro-style sofas and contemporary cream lounge chairs. The big pool is one of the highlights.

Location-wise, you're in a quiet road less than a 10-minute walk from Benidorm's major bars and restaurants. And when you want to hit the sands, Levante Beach is a 15-minute walk away.

Cannot understand the 2 star rating

Just returned from a quick break to the wonderful Rio Park in Benidorm. I wasn't expecting much for a 2 star hotel but how wrong was I ? We have certainly stayed in worse 3 star hotels and one of them is in the same chain in the same city ! The hotel provided a high floor corner room just as I requested and it was excellent. Very spacious and airy with the sun on the balcony for most of the day. The bathroom was also very large, the beds were comfortable, the storage was more than adequate and the room was cleaned spotlessly every day. Ok for the nit pickers the paintwork is a bit tired but it is a 40 something year old hotel and it is also the end of season so most hotels will be slightly tired now. We went half board and there was not a single day when we couldn't find something tempting to eat and the food was always hot and plentiful with lots of choice at both breakfast and evening. The cold salad bar was also very good along with the fresh fruit. The entertainment was good what we saw although it was limited. The bar prices are also very competitive especially during the happy hours which were on every evening for a good 2 hours. The reception staff, cleaning staff and dining room staff were very friendly and helpful. Now for the Down side. We did find the bar staff to be a 50/50 mix of younger friendly staff and grumpy, miserable older men and there is a new hotel been constructed alongside which made the pathway down to the front a bit of a bottleneck for the beggars and locals to exercise their dogs so tread careful or you will be getting a shoe full. So in summary it wasn't all perfect but all in all we would be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone.More

Good but watch your step

Visited here in October we were not staying here but you can pay €8 each we have done this before. We really enjoyed the roast beef the potatoes were cooked really well there seemed to be a lack of veg than we had before. Went the following week and the menu had changed dramatically to more convenience type food. They did have a massive influx of spanish pensioners as they have free holidays whether this was the reason the menu changed I couldn't say but we switched to Monroes Carvery on the Avenida Europa which was very good and actually cheaper.More

absolutely love our 1st time here

just spent 4 nights ( 24th to the 28th of October 2014) and absolutely loved this hotel,,we really cant believe this hotel is only a 2 star ( iv stayed in worse 3 stars ), the staff were brilliant and couldn't do enough for us,, meals were lovely too, couldn't get enough of their CRISPY BACON, all in all a very nice hotel, we just cant think of a fault,, weve booked on the med-playa roulette for next easter but after this visit to the Rio Park we hope we get put into this oneMore

bruno o,

Rio Park Benidorm

stayed here in October 2014 had a lovely time the food is good and plenty of choices some people moaned about the food but we liked it you would be hard pushed to not find something you liked to eat , rooms could do with updating but they are clean and comfortable .. Staff helpful and friendly .. The only complaint i personally had was smokers sitting outside the front of the Hotel when it had loads of smoking areas .. first time in Benidorm and loved it ......More
