Hotel Rio Park

You'll find stylish, modern décor at this popular hotel, along with easy access to Benidorm's main strip.

This imposing building might look like a typical Benidorm hotel from the outside. But, thanks to a refurb, inside it's all funky retro-style sofas and contemporary cream lounge chairs. The big pool is one of the highlights.

Location-wise, you're in a quiet road less than a 10-minute walk from Benidorm's major bars and restaurants. And when you want to hit the sands, Levante Beach is a 15-minute walk away.

hotel is very clean, and within easy access of shops, bar, beach... reasonably priced little shop inside the hotel... Breakfast was excellant.. plenty of choice... evening meals were average... but hot... You get what you pay for with this hotel... It is a 2 * but it is clean and tidy... staff always friendly .. Better than a two star

Just back from two weeks at the Rio Park. Both of us caught sickness and diarrhoea bug and people sitting around us in the restaurant were falling like flies. Hand sanitizer was used before entering the restaurant. Food was always a good variety and never saw any undercooked food. Chefs wore gloves. Beef and Yorkshires, chicken, curry, pasta and pizza etc. Desserts were lovely cakes and tarts, jelly, apple crumble and custard but also fruit and yoghurts available. Did notice the Thomson Reps and Hotel Waiter were eating fruit and yoghurts not the cooked food. Just something I noticed. Rooms cleaned every day and towels changed daily. Entertainment was great. Better than other Spanish three star hotels we've stayed at. Weather 17 degrees but you need a coat early in the morning and late at night and a cardi in the afternoon but had some lovely sunshine. Not all bars open but you didn't need to leave the hotel as entertainment good and drinks were cheap up to 10 o'clock as well. Most shops open. Pity about the sickness bug otherwise would have been excellent! Reps said the bug was going around Benidorm - don't know if this was true.More

Never Again

Arrived back yesterday after a 10night stay.Arranged for an upgraded room ,not available, manager promised to look into it, heard nothing at all.Food undercooked and cold,Plates not cleared away. Lots of people with sickness bug including myself.Thomson rep was rude and unhelpful. Customer service needs to improve from the management down. Do not ignore mistakes made by the staff, and contact customers with a relevant complaint. We have stayed in lots of Benidorm hotels ,this was the worst ,never againMore

Back again

Just back from a three week stay at the Rio Park Benidorm can't fault the cleanliness of the rooms ect staff very friendly one thing that was not up to scratch was the dining room the food was good but not enough staff as, seemed to have been cut by half from last year also the hand cleanser out side then restaurant wasn't supervised as in other years so people just walked by it into the food hall, out of our party of four three went down with diarrhoea and sickness lots of sick people we were glad to come home don't think we will go back .More
