Hotel Rio Park

You'll find stylish, modern décor at this popular hotel, along with easy access to Benidorm's main strip.

This imposing building might look like a typical Benidorm hotel from the outside. But, thanks to a refurb, inside it's all funky retro-style sofas and contemporary cream lounge chairs. The big pool is one of the highlights.

Location-wise, you're in a quiet road less than a 10-minute walk from Benidorm's major bars and restaurants. And when you want to hit the sands, Levante Beach is a 15-minute walk away.

Pleasantly surprised.

I was very apprehensive about staying at the Rio Park Hotel after reading some of the recent reviews, however I was pleasantly surprised. Lets make it clear to start, this is not a 5 star hotel nor did I pay 5 star prices. The hotel in general was very clean and tidy, our room was cleaned every day with clean sheets and towels every day. The food was OK (I'm a very fussy eater) and I always found something to eat. The choice at breakfast time was excellent. At the entrance to the restaurant there were facilities to was your hands with bacterial hand wash and I'm pleased to say that I didn't see anyone walk past without using it. The entertainment at the hotel was very good and varied and the bar prices were excellent and certainly cost no more than the local pubs. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Rio Park and don't think they deserve some of the negative comments they have received.More

Oldies...

Two weeks in this hotel, food was ok....pool was ok... Drinks were poor, bought own often. Benidorm surrounding is fantastic , going again this yr. old people , lots of them in this hotel, which meant we had several complaints about being slightly loud when returning at 2/3am ....More

Wonderful stay

So I'm going to try and write an accurate account of our stay, which we loved! Thank you Rio Park for our wonderful stay. We stayed 10th-17th Feb 2015. In a twin room with a balcony. We arrived at Rio park around 11.30am, we expected to have to wait until a certain time to check in but this wasn't the case, we walked up to the desk, checked in and handed our key! 1-0 to Rio park! We wanted to have a look around to see if there was much to do in benidorm in feb, (which unfortunately there isn't.) but we climbed on to check our beds and they were that comfortable that we fell asleep, missed our food and woke up the next morning. The pool is very big which would be great in the summer months, and the hotel has 2 bars, a restaurant and a very large seating area! FOOD. We loved the food at the Rio Park, always being restocked always a lot of choice and it's always hot, although if it isn't hot enough for you there are microwaves there but not once did I see anyone use them. The soup is to die for! Something different every single day and was perfect. ROOMS. The rooms were just above average, beds are very comfortable, the television is flat screen and has loads of UK television shows. The shower was very powerful and hot. ENTERTAINMENT. There were 3 shows in the hotel every single night, so if there wasn't much to do then the hotel is very cheap for drinks and has tonnes of entertainment. The hotel is very close to the strip so if you're looking to party then the hotel is a great place to stay, but on the other hand is far enough away that you don't have to put up with the noise if you're not into that sort of stuff. It's within walking distance to the beach and very easy to walk to, just one straight road and you're there. (And it's beautiful) The stayed in the hotel on Valentine's Day and were pleasantly surprised that we were given champagne with our dinner and a lovely flower, also a live saxophone player played while we ate, what a great touch! All in all we had a brilliant time and I would 100% go back again and again! Thank you to all staff and management at Rio Park and also our Thomson reps for a great holiday! Please if you're considering booking this hotel just do it! Best decision I made! More
