This sleek seafront hotel has 4 pools and direct access to one of best beaches in Majorca.
Minimal and modern are the first words that spring to mind when it comes to the Ferrera Blanca. Outside, it’s all white walls and blue-tinted glass. The bedrooms are just as contemporary and come with a balcony or terrace.
The hotel has 4 swimming pools set in well-tended gardens, and leads right onto the golden sands of Cala Ferrera beach. It’s also got 2 restaurants and a theatre bar.

Saved by the Ferrera Blanca!
Returned 3 days ago. Had a lovely time. Our original hotel in Cala d'Or (Ariel Chico) was dreadful and we paid to upgrade. The room was like a palace compared to our original hotel. Fantastic value for money. Very busy but to be expected for the time of year. The staff at the hotel work very hard. The Manager, Miguel was so helpful when we arrived and helped me loads on the last day as our flight time had changed and I needed to make a few calls. All the staff work very hard. The animation team never stop! As mentioned in previous reviews, sun beds are an issue and it can be a bit rowdy at night when kids are running riot. The location of the hotel is great. The beach, shops, bars are all close by. We were All Inclusive and the food/drinks were very good. We were a family of 3 and my daughter (aged 8) really enjoyed it. We met a lovely family from Manchester and overall had a great stay.More

First class holiday
We had a 14 night holiday here end of July early August. As expected the hotel was fully booked this was expected as this was our second visit at this time of year. The hotel and rooms are spotless and the food was of a very good standard and varied. The sunbed issue is annoying but no different to any where else I've been in the busy periods. That said there were lots of vacant sunbeds up on the roof top solarium. This was a nice quite location and still within easy reach of the pool and Bar via the lift or stairs. The staff were fantastic and some even remarried us from last year a really nice touch. We have already booked our return for next year.More
Guests let this hotel down
We stayed for 10 nights of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The hotel is extremely well kept all staff work very hard all day long to keep the hotel spotless. The bar and restaurant staff are very friendly and are also run off their feet all day to keep guests happy. So the comments about the hotel being unclean are not true at all. Pros Spotlessly clean hotel and well kept grounds Friendly very hard working staff Enthusiastic entertainment team Beautiful location Great buffet style food Large spacious rooms with big balconies Cons The pool areas and beach are very over crowded The main problem we had on our holiday was some of the guests. Parents letting their kids run riot after the evening entertainment at 11.00pm had finished as I guess they were taking a holiday from parenting also!!! Noisy rude kids and ill mannered parents let this hotel down. The comment about staff not cleaning the pool areas in the day is ridiculous and sums up some of the guests. Guests are actually expected to put their own plastic cup in a bin after they have finished their drink. I think some guests thought all inclusive meant getting their own bottom wiped aswell!!!More

Not a great experience
On arrival very late in the evening we were very disapointed we were given an apartment on the first floor with no lift although when booking and having called the hotel a few times in advance we anticipated we had a small child who started walking and had a stroller and hence required ground floor accommodation. We had to bring two tired children, several big bags and the stroller all the way up the stairs to find out the room had no cot for our baby, inspite of several requests in writing upon booking. This was eventually fixed 30 min later when the security person provided a travel cot that I had to make myself as there was no maid service at that time. Not a great start. The morning after following a formal complain we were given a ground floor apartment but were left to move all our lugage ourselves. Not great again. Pools are very small and crowded. Small children cannot reach the floor of most pools and hence are all fighting for a place at one end of the pool. The sunbeds are allways taken and towels are put on them the night before which is shocking. We never got a sunbed before 5 PM and in the shade. The place was clean enought but by no means close to any standards of clean of similar places in Spain. Empty plastic cups and rubish was left around sunbeds during the day and never collected. Public areas were clean in the morning but you hardly see any staff cleaning pool area during the day after the busy time. Rooms were clean though and staff was friendly. Food was ok, specially on the Spanish themed night. Entertainment was poor. Mini disco for kids had old fashion songs which were played over and over again every evening for the lenght of our 7 nights stay. One activity of kids club consisted in painting a t-shirt. They charged 10 Euro for this!!!!!!! My daughter was bored. Shows in the evening were of ok quality when entertainment was not provided by the staff themselves, which we thought that for the kind of money the hotel is charging was a bit of a joke. All in all would never go back. Area around hotel was busy with tacky shops selling souvenirs and very poor quality restaurants and bars selling English style food. Advice, go somewhere else in the island. Mallorca has much better than this to offer.More

Very expensive for the apartment only option. Can't begin to imagine how a family could do self catering here with the facilities and the space. Staff were all friendly and helpful and the location was ok. Getting a sunbed at the pool was a joke, towels were put out at 11pm so by morning there were no beds to be had, the hotel really need to manage this but instead they do nothing. We met some lovely people but there are much nicer places to stay so I probably wouldn't return.More
