This sleek seafront hotel has 5 pools and direct access to one of best beaches in Majorca.
Minimal and modern are the first words that spring to mind when it comes to the Ferrera Blanca. Outside, it’s all white walls and blue-tinted glass. The bedrooms are just as contemporary and come with a balcony or terrace.
The hotel has 5 swimming pools set in well-tended gardens, and leads right onto the golden sands of Cala Ferrera beach. It’s also got 2 restaurants and a theatre bar.

Fantastic! Great place to stay
I would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed in August 2015, the room was a good size for a family of 4, very clean and tidy with all the facilities you need and expect on holiday. The layout of the hotel is great as although large its split into low level blocks which gives it a much friendlier feel. There are 4 pools to choose from all of which are great. By far the best part of our stay was the Animation team who provided loads of entertainment and activities for adults and children alike. Kids were free to join in if they wanted to, our kids did and loved it! I'm not usually a fan of hotel entertainment but these guys put on some great shows and worked really hard on the productions. Great choice of food and very good quality. We will definitely come back.More

2nd Time Around - disappointed
I am not one to complain about things and have never written a review on Trip Advisor before, but I feel I need to give my honest opinion on this hotel, following our second holiday here between 19th-26th Sep. Our room had a "musty" smell in the bedroom, twin beds (ON WHEELS) which we honestly don't mind twin beds, but them being on wheels was slightly odd and caused a problem (even just sitting on the bed it moved) The bed sheet had a pink stain on it from the day we arrived, needless to say it was still there on the day we left. So I ended up sleeping with my own towels on the bed. The window in the bedroom didn't lock properly, so was unlocked all hours of the day. The bathroom had mould on the shower floors, and up the walls - again the bathroom window was broken so we couldn't shut this at all. The air vent in the bedroom had mould all over it. Unfortunately we couldn't find any sort of remote control or any switch to turn the air con off, the only way to switch it off was by taking the room card out, but then this meant all electric was turned off as well! Our room was freezing at night time - we had to sleep with two blankets on top of us, now I know its slightly chillier in the evenings in Majorca, but not this cold! Now onto the food - Myself and my husband are not fussy eaters and we can always find something to eat in an all inclusive but we struggled every day and ended up eating out on four occasions. We mostly ate chips, pasta and pizza on the times we did eat in the hotel. The Mexican and Asian nights though were really good!! One night all I could see on peoples plates were chicken nuggets and chips! We thought we would try the Italian downstairs (this was really good 2 years ago) we both ordered a lasagne, and it wasn't nice - it was almost plasticy, that is the only word I can use to describe it. The white sauce was so white, we had no idea what they had made that with. We ate out on four occasions and this cost us in excess of 200 euro! It really isn't that cheap to eat in Cala D'or - we found anyway! Can't fault the staff though - they were all really good. If I was to give you any advice, it would be to take some euros with you just incase you, like us, don't enjoy the food. Overall we personally were quite disappointed, after having a brilliant stay 2 years ago, and unfortunately we won't be returning to this hotel in the future.More

We stayed 15th - 25th September for our silver wedding anniversary. On arrival we were offered an upgrade to a suite which we took. If overlooked he main pool and the entertainment area and had loungers on the balcony as well as a table and chairs. We tended to sunbathe on the balcony each afternoon after spending the morning on the beach. The food was great although at times the breakfast was luke warm but there was a microwave for heating it up. The Mexican night was superb and there tended to be a themed night every other night. We loved the location of the hotel - a simple 10 mins from Cala D'Or but which also had various bars and a spar in the near vacinity. We received champagne and a fruit basket for our anniversary. All the staff here are a total credit to the hotel from check-in, to cleaning staff, to waiters and waitresses and the annimation staff. We had a ball and would definitely recommend goig.More

Ferrera Blanca, GREAT HOLIDAY.
We stayed last 2 weeks of September AIC apartment block 15 ground floor. lovely area close to all pool areas with large balcony. very clean, maids came every day, and overall up keep of hotel was excellent. Animation team were very good and evening entertainment was a high standard, lion king was amazing. meals were very good and staff were always very helpful. the BELLA ITALIA RESTAURANT which is next to pool area is well worth a visit, and meals are very good. we went a number of evenings. The waiters at this restaurant are first class, they made us feel so welcome and wished us a safe journey home. Also the staff at buffet restaurant were excellent,.special mention to FRAN on reception who is a so helpful and helped us so much when we arrived. Starfish boat trips are well worth going on and they take you from the beach cove which is only 5 mins from hotel. pool towels provided for small deposit which you have back. TV in room has a lot of English channels, lovely shower. We will recommend this hotel for a holiday to family and friends. Thankyou all at FERRERA BLANCA for a great holiday, we will return.More
Fabulous staff - thank you!
Just got home from a week spent, all inclusive, with my 19 year old daughter. Overall, the hotel is very clean, nice to look at, ideally situated with the most wonderful staff! From the receptionists and waiting staff to the chamber maids, the entertainment staff to the maintenance staff, all were truly polite, respectful, cheerful and above all wanting to do whatever possible to ensure we had a good holiday - outstanding! The hotel itself comprises of blocks of apartments (rooms) spread across a wide area with pretty, well kept gardens and pathways. After a problem with the shower in our first room we were upgraded to a suite (at no extra cost), which was modern, clean and with very comfortable mattresses. The only downside is that the balconies are not private and are overlooked by other rooms. I think this is probably the case with them all due to the design and layout of the complex, but all have tables and chairs as well as sunbeds. The entertainment team worked hard and were not pushy or overbearing. In the evening, however, it did not get going until 9pm with an hour of Bingo every night, followed by a 'show' until 10.30ish with the bar closing at 11.30pm. I found this rather disappointing and repetitive and personally would have liked to have had some live music or a disco for an hour to end the night off. A further positive for us was that the kids club and the children's splash pool were situated away from the main pool area which I think suited couples and families alike as each group had their own particular areas, although children were welcomed in any of the areas or pools if they wanted to. The A.I drinks were pretty good with a good selection of all the usual local versions of branded drinks as was the local beer and Cava. Selection of Ice creams were also included in the A.I, which again was good. This is a hotel of two halves, fantastic staff and amenities, shockingly appalling food! Same tepid breakfasts each day, tepid evening meals which dry out under the heat lamps, same selection of basic fruit, sweets and ice cream with pasta or chips with everything. Tip: We worked out that it was better to go for dinner when the restaurant opens at 6.30pm as the food was less likely to be dried up, but even so, still poor quality with much of the food made from processed jars of cooking sauces. We would not return to this hotel, unless they could improve the food, otherwise, it's a good choice with lots of other positives.More
