This sleek seafront hotel has 5 pools and direct access to one of best beaches in Majorca.
Minimal and modern are the first words that spring to mind when it comes to the Ferrera Blanca. Outside, it’s all white walls and blue-tinted glass. The bedrooms are just as contemporary and come with a balcony or terrace.
The hotel has 5 swimming pools set in well-tended gardens, and leads right onto the golden sands of Cala Ferrera beach. It’s also got 2 restaurants and a theatre bar.

Second Time Stay
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and the only hotel we have ever returned to so that tells you something for a start. Ferrera Blanca is in a great location just off a lovely little beach (though the beach is very busy in summer) and only a few minutes from bars, shops, restaurants, kids play park with bouncy castle and go karts plus adventure golf. A further walk (about 15 mins) takes you into the main Cala D'Or area where there are lots more shops and restaurants. The food at Ferrera Blanca is good with lots of choice and the all inclusive drinks are much better than some other places, with about 6 or 7 lovely cocktails on the all inclusive list too. The staff are all really lovely and the animation team do a really good job. We stayed in a suite this time, 2 adults and 2 children and there was lots of room with a separate bedroom and then sofa beds in living room. The bathroom was lovely with a large wet room shower. We'd love to come back another time!More

Pleasant holiday resort
I visited this resort with my girlfriend in April 2014. The weather was still a bit chilly and sea was cold but it was a very pleasant holiday. Hotel was clean, food was good (definitely go for all inclusive option - well worth the money) staff was friendly. I would recommend this resort to others. 4 stars is fair rating.More
Excellent stay and will be returning
My boyfriend and I stayed at Ferrera Blanca for a week in Sept 2014 and had a fabulous time. The resort is clean, spacious, with three nice pools. We upgraded our room and were situated above the pool near the beach/snack bar, which was a perfect location in ease of access to the pool etc. Unfortunately it was not very private as was on the corner of where everyone walked by to get the the dining hall, so in hindsight I would definitely not get that room again. However that was one of the few negatives. The pools were all clean and of a reasonable temperature. The food and drinks were plentiful and tasty, we always found something to enjoy at breakfast, lunch and dinner. One of the downsides as a cocktail lover was that I found the selection boring. I've stayed at other AI resorts where they have more variation, staff who are willing to do requests, and a daily special. Ferrera Blanca could well do with implementing some more interesting cocktails! Other than that, the drinks were fine, and like I said the food very good. The animation team are all lovely and friendly, bingo was fun, and the nightly entertainment is... Varied! There are shops and restaurants not a far walk from the hotel as well. We went to a lovely tapas bar, Tapas Y Más twice which I would recommend. We liked Ferrera Blanca so much that we have recently booked to come again this year with more of our family! Which reminded me I forgot to review our stay last year, whoops. But here it is, and my review is that it's a lovely, friendly hotel which is definitely worth a visit. More
Ferrera does not draw a Blanca
We stayed at the hotel in June 2014 a we had a wonderful holiday. This though could have been a very different story as on arrival we was placed in a block across the road from the main building. If it was just me and my partner travelling we probably would have just accepted this but we had our 1 year old child with us and as there was a good few step leading to the room and it was very dark we asked to be moved when we woke the next day. We was moved at around 2pm and then our holiday could start properly. Our new room was pool side and although we was on the first floor with no lifts it was well lit and in a great location. The room was very spacious with large bedroom and living area with a balcony that you could see the sea from. We had booked a suite so it was the minimum i would expect. The hotel itself was modern and kept very clean and had buildings on 3 plots . We was part of the reception plot that also had the evening entertainment area. On this plot but seperate was a smaller pool with an infants. we used this on a couple of occasions. There was the plot that we was originally placed. This was simply rooms. There was then a plot that had the restaurant and the large pool this also led down to the beach via a few ramps. The restaurants are all inclusive and the choice was fantastic. Our 1 year old son ate like a king and it was great to be able to give him a varied diet of such different fruit and veg and meat. It would cost you a fortune back home to feed your child the way we did. The themed nights where also great and the Mexican night was my favourite. Underneath the buffet restaurant you had the Italian Restaurant. This was brilliant and you was able to order your food in a restaurant style. I would have ate here every night but the Mrs is not big on Italian food. We normally like to eat out 3 - 4 times even when on all inclusive as my partner is not the best with foreign food and cooking methods but here we had no problems at all in the buffet restaurant as the choice was so varied. The beach for the hotel is not private but is still at the bottom of the hotel and if you love a beach then this is ideal. My son hates hot sand (an I hate sand too. Bonus) so we spent our days by the good quality pools The entertainment staff are great. They work so hard and we had a great time at a couple of the shows and I personally enjuyed getting involved with the table tenis, water polo and volley ball. Its a short walk to the main bit of the town and there is plenty to do and see on the way with bars, shops, restaurants, play ares etc. We think the location of this hotel is just right. All in all this hotel was one of the better ones I have stayed in my life and we will be returningMore

We have stayed here twice now, during July, so always been busy, but the kids managed to make friends, so we had a good holiday. The rooms are clean, well maintained and modern. We were all inclusive, and feel that this hotel was really good value for money! We never struggled to get a table at dinner, and it was nice that the restaurant staff seated you! The food was good, and plenty of variety. My only negative comment is the battle of the sunbeds. We don't get up that early, however you really don't have a choice here! After 4 days of not being able to get beds at 9am, I had no choice. I ended up having to go and get sunbeds at 7am. It was still dark outside, and not at all ideal!!! Even more frustrating that the hotel staff do not enforce rules in relation to reserving beds! Some people reserved their beds at the crack of dawn and didn't surface until the afternoon! Regardless of the sunbed war, we would still go back here, as its one of the nicest hotels we have been to!More
