The Ferrera Blanca looks like it belongs in a glossy mag. Outside, it’s all white walls and blue-tinted glass. Inside, it’s just as contemporary, with a minimalist lobby and funky bar on the cards. Rooms are similarly sleek, and come with a balcony or terrace. Plus, you’ve got the option of upgrading to a suite. As for the buffet restaurant, it teams smart white walls and pillars with views over Cala Ferrera cove. It’s next to the main pool, which comes with a snack bar and terrace. From here, pop down the steps and you’ll be on Cala Ferrera beach in two minutes, or you can walk five more for the sands of Cala Serena.

Best Hotel we have ever used for All inclusive
This place was fabulous. We stayed during October half-term 2013, and were there for the big storm. Our room was flooded, but the staff were magnificent. We found a brush, cleaned ourselves up, and had a great time. The disaster actually brought people together - blitz spirit - and improved our stay. The staff did us proud, fancy dress halloween, great evening entertainment, fantastic food even on the night of the big storm (and it was big, we saw loads of trees down, electricity poles lost, cars washed away, walls collapsed). An elderly lady who we rescued from her flooded car said she had never seen anything like it in 70 years of living on the island (so don't worry, you're unlikely to get flooded when you visit). When operating normally, this hotel has plenty for all ages, although the wi-fi can be hit & miss if lots of users log in. If that's the only flaw, you're in for a good time!More

There are lots of stairs all over the complex so you have to be fit . Food was fine lovely resort hotel not for me.More

Fun family holiday
We stayed here for a week in September 2013, we were a family group of 6 adults and 2 children aged 3 and 18 months, we had 4 rooms all overlooking the pool near reception/entertainment stage. We had a brilliant holiday. All the staff were very good. We had the same table reserved for us every evening in the main restaurant. When we went to tip the restaurant manger at the end of the week he put the cash straight into a pot to share between all the staff. We tried the Italian restaurant downstairs one evening, having a lovely table reserved for us outside by the pool near the live musicians, the food was very nice but the service was very slow, I think they were short staffed that night. The entertainment team made the holiday, they all work extremely hard all day & night and were all very friendly to everyone. The rooms were all very clean and very spacious. Free wifi is available in main reception. We didnt have an issue with the sun beds, but I can definitely see this being a problem during the school holidays. There are 3 pools to choose from, we only used the main pool as it was near our rooms and the kids & adults alike liked the activities in and around that pool. Evening entertainment was different every night, after the obligatory kids disco & bingo (in 4/5 languages). All the food and drinks were very nice. I liked the ice cream machine at the pool along with a freezer full of ice creams and the fact that tea & coffee were available at the bar. We did book a private transfer with Taxi PMI as we had heard of dreadful transfer times, the hotel is across the other side of the island from the airport. All in all a brilliant family holiday and whilst the children are young enough to holiday out of term time, we would certainly consider a return to this hotel.More
great hotel for entertainment
Stayed here in october 2013. When we first arrived we just missed lunch but were shown the snack bar and had some food before heading back to reception to get our bags and shown to our rooms. very friendly staff, they constantly had activites on throughout the day like rifle shooting, darts and table tennis. The rooms were very clean and spacious, was a welcome note and a few sweets were on the beds. There was a large variety of food at each mealtime, and for me being a fussy eater suited me well and there were a few different themed nights with different foods being offered. The hotel is in a great area for access to the beach, and there are great views from the hotel. A short walk into town there are many shops and restaurants to visit. Would definitely stay here again in the future.More

Very good family hotel
We stayed in May 2012 in an apartment, it's very clean with good facilities, we got a double bed and our 13 year olds bed was made up every night on the lounge sofa, strange but he says really comfy, we would rebook this hotel as the location is perfect the hotel is very clean, and staff are helpful.
