It’s the setting people like about this hotel – great views and a peaceful atmosphere come as standard.
The views always impress here. The hotel is in a wide bay, next to pebbly Albatros Beach. So from most rooms you can see cobalt water, a scattering of islands, and Dubrovnik in the distance.
Cavtat’s postcard-worthy old town is about a 15-minute walk. And on the days you’re staying put, there are indoor and outdoor pools, plenty of sports and a couple of great places to eat.

Nice family break in October 1/2 term that was reasonably priced! Clean hotel but in desperate need of renovation as it is tired. Food was ok but sometimes a case of feast or famine depending on who the chef was! Cavtat is a beautiful little town but be prepared for a 20 min walk to civilisation!More
Good hotel in lovely location
We stayed for 2 weeks June/July all inclusive with my mother. As far as I know, because we were booked all inclusive we got the slightly better than standard rooms. rooms were a good size, over looking the pool and the sea. There are two hotels on this strip of beach/water front and after having a walk down to the other, I felt relieved we'd chosen this one, as the grounds were more enclosed/better kept. Although we'd read several reviews before travelling about all inclusive patrons getting better treatment, it didn't seem the case when we were there - for example at lunch and dinner we often struggled to get a waiter to get a drink, and whilst I appreciate they might not be wanting to serve too much *free* wine, this could've been alleviated by having table water available for people with wrist bands, in fact sometimes when it was around people helped themselves because the service was so slow (so slow you could get to dessert and still be waiting to give your drinks order) - this was pretty much the only negative for the whole stay. Oh that and the inability of the bar staff elsewhere to make a hot cup of coffee, my mother had to return several less than luke warm drinks.. weird as they appeared to be from the same machines used at breakfast that coped quite well. Pool seemed well equipped with enough sunbeds, you just needed to be early enough (before 9:30-10am) to grab an umbrella to cope with the midday heat. Pool entertainment was great, even as people who don't really participate I felt it was good - there were loads of people who took part in the aqua aerobics and aqua zumba. there was a good range of other activities and I enjoyed the archery - the animation team were all fab! There are loads of birds (either swallows or swifts) that live in the complex and swoop down to drink from the pool. the location of the hotel was lovely, there are several beach bars just outside the gates to the hotel (the beach is literally across the 2-3 meter wide road), we went to a couple to try even though we were AI, great to watch a sunset from, you can also catch the boat to Dubrovnik from the beach and the walk into central Cavtat is about 15-20 minutes (relaxing pace with a 70 year old in tow), along a winding road that has no pavement so might seem a bit hairy at first, but worth it just for the amazing sunsets we saw across the bays. All in all we had a great holiday, also it was my birthday whilst we were away and we got a bottle of bubbly left in our room which was a lovely touch. If we were to stay in Cavtat again (AI) then we'd stay here.More

Great Hotel right on the beach
We were all inclusive and found food to be plentiful, hot and varied. The whole hotel was always kept very clean, beds were comfortable and bedding and towels changed regularly. There was always plenty of sunbeds and plenty of space around the pools too. We were a large group of couples and always got sunbeds together. I loved that we were right on the beach too. It's a pebbly beach but lovely clear water. The water taxi takes you straight to Dubrovnik too. Plenty of daytime activities and what we saw of the evening entertainment was pleasant but we went out and about. It's about a 20 minute walk into Cavtat but there are bars and restaurants along the way too which are cheaper than central Cavtat. The only negative is that there are stairs to the lifts which is no good for wheelchair users and inconvenient for buggies and luggage.More

Remisens Hotel Albatros
Hotel is very clean in all areas and our room was one with a sea view (which we paid extra for) had the most wonderful view of the bay, it was virtually on the beach and was so quite. There were many nationalities so the food was catered for all and there were some foods that we wouldn't eat but we never went hungry. The swimming pool and paddling pool were cleaned every night and all sunbeds were moved and put back in their place. The Leisurely walk into Cavtat was lovely and when you get there you are not disappointed so pretty. There were 6 entertainment people who were very friendly and worked very hard but we were disappointed with the evening shows. The bar between 7 - 8 only had 1 bar staff which caused a very long wait for a drink as most people come to have a drink before they go for evening meal. Having said all of this I would definitely go back for another holiday.More
