It’s the setting people like about this hotel – great views and a peaceful atmosphere come as standard.
The views always impress here. The hotel is in a wide bay, next to pebbly Albatros Beach. So from most rooms you can see cobalt water, a scattering of islands, and Dubrovnik in the distance.
Cavtat’s postcard-worthy old town is about a 15-minute walk. And on the days you’re staying put, there are indoor and outdoor pools, plenty of sports and a couple of great places to eat.

It's like Butlins but not as friendly
I walked there from Cavtat to see if it would be worth booking a long stay for the family. It is frankly dated and not the cleanest. Ok to be honest it was the dirtiest I have found in Croatia. The staff were ignorant and couldn't be bothered to be polite or friendly. Maybe they don't want customers? Certainly none of the people I spoke to would do more than grunt. This was totally unlike my experience anywhere else in Croatia. So I didn't see a room and couldn't even buy a coffee. It's a mile outside Cavtat. This was at the end of April. I won't be back and will tell anyone that will listen. More

Lovely April Easter weather
We stayed in this hotel 9 April-16 April and had glorious weather. We were lucky as we heard it does rain in April. We had a room on the corner overlooking the sea and the scenery was lovely. I cannot fault this hotel, it was always clean, the food was good and we felt the restaurant was run very well. The only disappointment was there were no cocktails on the all inclusive menu. We went on a boat trip across from the hotel to Dubrovnik and also went on the cable car which is worth doing. From the hotel it is only a short stroll into the pretty town of Cavtat. I would recommend this hotel and would return. It is in an ideal spot for walking into Cavtat and the views from the hotel are amazing. Also my son was happy with the Wi-Fi connection, he said it was the quickest he had used in a hotel !More
Good experience, good value for money.
I dont understand why most of the reviews always comment and say that the hotel is outdated, for us it was normal hotel, the room was a decent size, very clean bed's and pillow very comfy. Facilities of the hotel good, we liked the fact that you have the beach right outside the hotel, it's not the best beach but you're close to the sea, the reason why i dont give this hotel 5 stars was because of the breakfast, we went at 7 am and by that time, a lot of trays were already empty, and although you have a great selection and variety of foods, it feels like it was more quantity than quality, thats the only bad thing i have to say about it, the location is lovely, it's full of restaurants nearby and so many breathtaking views to enjoy. Pooooor customer Service
Ok so the hotel is ok, a bit in the middle of nowhere and a little dated but that i can live with. The food was mediocre to good but buffet food with large choice if that's your thing. What really annoyed me about this hotel failed to have ANY customer service. They do not budge...on anything! And it's meant to be a well rated hotel. So they refused to let us check in early even though i requested it in advance so we had to wait four hours in the lobby. They refused to let us upgrade Our room. The biggest thing is The rooms were FREEZING. They only were prepared to give sheets and not quilts and there was no additional heating even though i kept requesting it. Sheets upon sheets were given. I don't want sheets. I want heat. I want to leave my bed and not freeze to death?!!!! The heating was refused to be put on to save costs and there were thunderstorms all week. REALLY REALLY poor customer service. It's a real shame. Also there is no room service and no shops around. So if you don't want barfood or can't eat it like me you'll probably starve. Anyway....buy some radiatiors or fan heaters! (Theyre not heat devices). You can't freeze your guests to death. More
Break away to recharge the batteries
Room was ok but walls thin and doesnt help when you have loud person next door so not very peaceful if you like peaceful nights sleep. Enjoyed breakfast but too much fish for me on main buffet meal and not great choice if you like meat instead but time of dinner is great 18.30-21.00 Good selection of salad and cold food if you like it or pizza. Bar really lacks cozy feeling or atmospere and found it very cold and bar staff not pleasant at all( seriously just smile. It makes a difference) and was strange to receive different size drink and different price each time when i asked for glass of wine. No price list for drinks but list of drinks. (Strange) Pool is nice but would be very cramped at busy time of year. Reception staff are nice and pleasant and helpful and cleaning staff seemed pleasant. Rooms were cleaned fine. Hotel is about 8-20mins walk away to marina and roads are dark if its late in the evening. Alot of building of roads going on around hotel and area so not picture perfect at present but thats not hotels fault. Supermarket is near marina so 10mins walk away if you carrying any heavy items of shopping(water perhaps) as bar is pricy for drinks. Theres fridge in room so its great. They dont allow you to use your own iron( so silly) so they should provide one without charging for it. Seriously. All money gimmock. There are few resturants out the pool gate if you going from may onwards but really quiet as present so town/marina is your option but be careful walking as theres no footpaths but its really nice there and worrh the walk. Everyone seems casualy dressed but nice so no need to go crazy dressing up. Trips can be booked from hotel area and worth the money. I used Adria for Montenegro. Kiddies disco and hotel organised some things at night but not very cozy. Just area is very dull and puts you off staying there. I enjoyed my break but would choose another hotel for location perhaps next time nearer Marina. More
