May 2017- Laura
Just came back from a 10 day holiday with my daughter and her boyfriend and we all could easily of done the full 2 weeks. The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, the staff are really friendly and helpful, the entertainment is really good something different every night, the food is great and a great variety and the room's and towels are cleaned daily, anyone who has a negative comment need to get a life, it's great value for money and plenty to do, I also met quite a few people who have returned back to the hotel year after year and I will definitely return ðMore
Fantastic entertainment team
After reading thousands of these reviews before we left to visit Isla Bonita I was somewhat half dreading what we were going to walk into but as soon as we go at there it looked clean and was noisy but we arrived at 11pm and the entertainment was just finishing...another guest was at the reception whilst we were waiting and was complaint about a sewer smell in his room I then had a horrible feeling but we was pleasantly surprised got told we were given a nice room there was me thinking it was the modern rooms as we requested with Thomson and they had written on our holiday notes but we got the key and went up to our room which was 208B and it was so so very clean and tidy can not fault the cleaners they arrived everyday if you like it and clean And refresh your towels each day too big credit to the cleaners we hired a safe just for peace of mind which was â¬17 for 7 nights not bad for that added security we then asked alight someone food after travelling for 12 hours and we went to the restaurant and managed to get a roll meat and some salad which at that time of night was all u really need we were allowed alcohol as we just arrived but we chose not to as we were so tired from all the travelling.our room was facing the main pool which was lovely to look out onto from our balcony and our door faced the entertainment section but noisy if your an older couple who want to just relax and catch an early night take ear plugs and eye mask worked a treat for me when we stayed in the one night we was there.but the entertainment finished at 11 and then soon quitened down the staff are all friendly and approachable even the guests were all friendly and we met some lovely people who became our holiday friends too....pool was clean little cold but soon got used to it lazed by the pool a lot great sun catcher to top up that tan food was lovely I thought my partner not so much took her all week to find something she liked but that's understandable for the fussy eaters out there I enjoyed the variety and fresh salad at all meal times too steak pork chicken chips veg rice pasta u name it it's there they have themed food nights too we experienced Italian,Chinese and Mexican the Mexican night was by far the best night for food excellent standard breakfast also a wide range to choose from plenty of fruit as well as breads cereals and a good old fry up for when u have had too much of the all inclusive alcohol which is a good variety we payed for some of their own cocktails as we liked the, but they do a green cocktail which is part of the all inclusive can't remember the name of it but that was delicious give that a try poolside snacks available throughout the day burgers chips nugget salad hotdogs self service San Miguel by the pool as well as soft drinks and tea and coffee hot chocolate etc poolside entertainment at certain times they do a fantastic show each Andy every time chances to join in with games and win a certificate for which is presented in the evenings entertainment which is excellent a few nights were a bit drab but other than that the showtime staff work so hard And long hours and just put on such an energetic show for all the family Fabio is a legend he was the star of them all and greeted guests in the evening and throughout the day by the sounds and look of it he's most people's favourite we had such a good holiday yes it is due for a refurbishment next year so we heard Andy yes it doesn't need it it does not warrant a 4 star my opinion is a 3 star with a lot of potential If u don't mind the odd cracked tile then I wouldn't worry about it too much one thing I will say is one day we ventured out to the market and they Were cleaning out the sewers from the hotel and my god the smell was unreal but that only happened once and it's a job they'd have to do so it's not their fault my hairdryer in my room hardly worked but I wasn't fussed and the TV had to be replaced with a new remote as it wasn't working but the tech team were there within 10 mins and changed it straight away when it came to leave we were able to leave our luggage in the luggage room and enjoy the rest of the hotels facilities up until our transfer bus arrived we wanted to freshen up for the flight home and we were told we hadn't booked a room to do so so we settled for a quick change of clothe she in the toilets so this needs to be made clear if this is what u want to do thenthe staff must explain the procedure in more detail when checking in I think.although the hotel has bad points it also has a lot of good points too and would return again.More

We were here for the 4th time,in April so knew what to expect. We were in 314A with sea view from the balcony and pool A view from our door. The room was always clean with fresh towel everyday. The rooms are needing upgraded but how long do you spend in it ?. All the meals were lovely and a good selection every day. The A pool was always busy but loungers were always available, if left for a long time the lifeguard removed the towels off them and place the towels in a plastic bag.Any problems are sorted out quickly by reception staff and the PR department. We are returning in June to this hotel.More
