This beachside hotel comes with a duo of pools and restaurants, and it’s big on activities, too.
There are 2 lagoon pools and 2 restaurants – 1 does buffets, the other is a speciality grill. You’ve also got an A to Z of activities, while in the evening there’s entertainment in the theatre.
Location-wise, this hotel hits the right spot. It’s right on a sandy beach, and it’s just a few minutes’ walk from shops and bars in the centre of Costa Caleta.

Very happy stay
Very satisfactory in all levels. Please get some help to the restaurant staff they working so hard but its simply not possible to be at the three places at the same time to clear the tables, set the tables and take drinks orders. Please thanks Berta and Samantha from the restaurant for their special attention.More
Barcelo thalasso spa
Very nice hotel in a great location. The food for an all inclusive was very good. I would recommend, although I would check the beach works as they were currently renovating a large proportion which did not cause any problems but would be something to bear in mind.More
It has been the best place we have seen so far. The hotel is really good, staff really helpful, the food is something you really have to try and the pool is amazing. Not the mention that the ocean is 1 minute away. I cannot wait to come back when the beach will be finished.More
Our 9 night stay
We stayed here for 9 nights at the start of September in a double room doing Al in. We was one of the unfortunate lot that pre booked with Lowcostholidays, so we had to rebook our stay else where, after looking around we decided to book our stay here and it wasn't cheap!! The hotel its self is in a good location and overlooks the beach. On arrival we checked in and was told to get some food as the restaurant was still open (we arrived just after 9.15pm) upon entering the buffet restaurant and looking at the food we was a little unsure however the next day our minds changed! Yes the food in the buffet restaurant is repetitive however there is something for everyone!!! The ice cream and deserts were amazing especially when there is a chocolate fountain involved. We had lunch at the snack bar a few times which ranges from chips, burgers, pizza, hot dogs, toasties and salad etc. Drinks are what you expect with an Al in hotel, however they did do Smirnoff vodka which makes a change and yes you have to pay for the branded spirits however they was at a discounted price as well as the cocktails, my partner found their strawberry daiquiri amazing! The hotel is a 10 minute walk to the harbour, you can feed the fish which is very relaxing and swim with the sealions and have a drink while over-looking the boats. Just to let you know half the beach is currently being worked on so is not in use however if you exit the hotel by the snack bar and turn left and left again there is still some open. We never had a problem getting a sunbed and always managed to get the same space regardless of the time so I don't understand why people wake up at the crack of dawn to put there towels down!!! I do think its bad that the hotel asks for you to pay for a safe and towels! This is the first time we have experienced this while doing Al in!! I do think this is something that should be looked at. Overall we had a good stay and would definitely return to Fuerteventura.More

Great chill out holiday. Big hotel but plenty of space to get away from noisy kids and any intrusive daytime animacion! Super room (superior type), lovely food - you'll probably return home and join Weight Watchers! - and we found the all-inclusive package really good. Staff are mostly always cheerful pleasant and helpful and helped make it a relaxing time. Plenty of entertainment available if you like that, and they seemed to look after children really well from morning to late evening. Lovely pool complex with plenty of sunbeds...but not enough sunshades. Lifeguards on duty during pool opening hours. Shame about the selfish sunbed reservers!!!!More
