Just got back from a weeks stay at club da magic life and I must say it was great everything was how we wanted it amd was all nice and clean with polite amd friendly staff, there was various amounts of food for you to try which had a different theme each night and basically had something for everyone to do from farious pools a relax pool just for adults bars hammocks to relax in a small water park and a kids club for the little ones. Louis from the entertainment team was friendly and approachable and gave us plenty of information about activities for the day and entertainment on the night and helped us enjoy the holiday even more all round fantastic as was all the other entertainment team, good entertainment for the night that changes each evening a very enjoyable destination I would deffinatley consider going back recommend to anyone :)More

Perfect Family Holiday
Myself, my husband and our children aged 7 and 4 went for a week the beginning of May. We were the first Birmingham flight to arrive of the season and we got my style of check in, we sat on our bums drinking cocktails whilst luggage and check in was taken care of by the reception staff. We booked a 2 bedroom suite and we couldn't have asked for better. Large hall way leading to a large bathroom with twin sinks, a master bedroom with possibly the largest bed we have ever seen, a twin bedded room and a living area with access to a large terrace. There were tvs in both bedrooms mounted on the wall and another large tv in the living area, channels were extremely restricted but is expected. The living area had a mini fridge stocked with water and soft drinks on arrival and a small kettle and equipment for making hot drinks. We only ate in the buffet restaurant but plenty of variety and no one suffered from holiday tummys. Every night ahs a different theme and the dining room is decorated accordingly which really adds to the evening. Drinks are provided by the bottle at meal times so if you order a coke you receive a litre bottle. We used the main bar in the reception most evenings as that's where the entertainment was. Drinks' were ok for all inclusive although it would have taken a lot of cocktails to have any effect, there was a good selection of mocktails too which my daughter loved and I also enjoyed and often had with the addition on vodka. The entertainment was varied especially for the start of the season, we could see the outdoor theatre was being painted ready for the main season. We used all outdoor pools and they were all very clean and tidy. The children enjoyed the water park but didn't go on the larger slides, we used the buffet there for lunch a few times which made a nice change. The beach wasn't the cleanest but it is the med and so seaweed expected. Yes there was camel poo in the sand but there was plenty of clean sand for the children to play in and you just watched your step on the way to the sea. We were advised to stay away from the horses as they can be dangerous but camels are safe. We paid 25D for 4 of us to ride 2 camels for 5 minutes along the beach which was just enough for the children, be prepared to barter on prices though. There are plenty of sunbeds and a hotel bar that also does sandwiches but the beach is not private in terms of you do get people selling trips and various good but never give you any trouble as there is always hotel security there. There is a small shop but more of a gift shop than mini market. Icecream is only available at meal times which is a shame but the snack bar at the water park serves them until 3pm (I think) Our children used the kids club 3 times and had a blast! The staff were great and the ratios were high although it was UK term time. My daughter should have been in the next club up to my son but they let her in the lower age group one to be with him. They were taken to the beach, on treasure hunts, made cookies, made me Mothers Day cards as it was their Mothers Day, went on the pay area, played games and over all kept them very entertained and the children wanted to go back. It gave us a few hours just chilling in peace reading a book. The hotel is super clean, each set of toilets seems to have a dedicated attendant, we have never used pool side toilets without putting flipflops on before this holiday, even the pool side toilets were spotlessly clean and decorated with flowers. We hired a taxi for 2 hours to visit some of the Star Wars sets from 1976 that are on the island for about £15 including a generous tip. Taxis are very cheap and if you are lucky to get a driver with good English they are very informative. We also got a taxi to and from Houmt Souk for less than £2 each way. We briefed the children before we went about saying NO and not touching things and on occasion we had to be firm with the looky looky man but it was a lovely 3 hours spent walking round the markets (only got hassle in the gift section, food and home ware you were left alone) in the tourist areas people were continually trying to get you into their shops but you have to respect this is how they make a living. We walked round to what I can only describe as the locals shopping area and were completely left alone to enjoy the sights and the amazing smells. Sitting down in a café for ice-cream in the square to people watch was brilliant. We visited the Crocodile Park though Thomson but I would advise against it and get a taxi yourself. The trip was on a non feeding day so that was a shame as watching them being fed would have been nice, the guide who we were told was worth having as English speaking left us alone n the museum when we really could have done with some translation as my French and Arabic are non existent so we potentially missed things that could have been very interesting. If we hadn't already booked our holiday for next year we would be going back as we all had a wonderful holiday and there is more of the island that we want to explore.More

Just got back from club magic life djerba and was one of the best holidays I've been on! The transfers are good as its only 25 mins!! Me and my partner booked with a good deal and I'm so glad we went for it as it was great! The food is the best food I've had and every time I go away I always go all inclusive. The drinks are good and all bar staff are a great laugh. The rooms was spacious and was always cleaned to high standards with the maids doing swans out of towels and flowers all over the room. There's lots to do around the resort and you really don't need to leave it unless you like to do excursions, the boat trip to Flamingo island was great so I would advise that. All in all we had the best time ever and will be returning to Magic Life this time next year. All staff are so friendly and it's a nice environment as everyone doesn't make you feel left out unless you want to be left out then they will leave you be. Thankyou for the holiday!! We will see you next year!More
