Best hotel ever!
I stayed here with my family in September. I can honestly say it was the BEST hotel I have ever stayed in. From the minute you arrive to the minute you leave, you are treated like royalty. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The food was great, lots of different options (which means a lot for me as I'm such a fussy eater). LOVED the pool areas - there were quiet ones and busier ones (including slides). The private beach was amazing. Everything about this hotel was amazing. The only thing people should be aware of is that there's not really much to do outside of the hotel - not that you would need to leave the hotel anyway. I would seriously recommend this to anyone - families, couples, solos or friends. Thank you to all the staff at Club Magic Life!More

Great value all inclusive holiday
We spent a week here at the end of August/Start of September. This was out first inclusive holiday and our first trip to Tunisia and had a fantastic time. The staff went out of their way to make everyone feel welcome, the hotel was immaculate as were the pools. The private beach was clean and tidy and the staff made sure that no one was bothered by any of the traders that frequent the area. Whilst there we did a 3 hour sunset horse ride booked through Ali which was great and allowed us to see more of the island ( although some riding experience did come in handy), a trip to the local Soukh for some shopping (some great bargains available if you are willing to haggle) as well as paragliding, gym classes and sea canoes. There is no shortage of activities to choose from!! The weather was amazing, it was 4 days before we saw a cloud. We made full use of the a la carte restaurants which provided a nice break from the main buffet and can recommend all of them. In the main restaurant there was always a good selection of food with themed evenings. There were always places to get snacks or drinks during the day and the Wunderbar was open 24hrs for those who wanted it and even did cocktails ( including non alcoholic ones). The Tunisian cafe is also worth a look where you can have tea and smoke a shisha pipe. All in all it was a fantastic holiday, great value, good flight times, short transfers and we will definitely return.More

LOVELY HOTEL AND RESORT
My husband and I spent our holiday in this hotel from the 10th to 17th September 2014. This is a very nice 4 star hotel, which is quite big with two adult pools, one child pool and one indoor/outdoor quiet pool with jacuzzi. Beach/pool towels are provided. The complex is in two halves and on the other side is the beach, the aqua park and snack bar. There is also a Spa and Gym. The accommodation consists of bungalows and a couple of blocks of apartments. The blocks have a lift and a very nice entrance hall. The rooms are spacious and very clean with fresh linen every day. There is a mini fridge in the room, a TV and air conditioning, which is very effective. There is WiFi in the hotel and this can be obtained in some of the rooms, but best place is probably the reception area. The only downside to the rooms in the blocks is that the view is nothing special. Poolside and garden views are only obtainable in the family sized rooms, which are the bungalows. There are no sea views. The activities during the day are ongoing and entertainment at night very good. The entertainment staff are excellent. With regards to the food, there is plenty to choose from at breakfast, lunch and dinner and it is cooked to a good standard. There are three specialist restaurants which you can visit once during your stay, Tunisian, very enjoyable and a nice experience, Italian, very good indeed and a Thai restaurant which, unfortunately, if you want anything like authentic Thai dishes this restaurant is not worth a visit. There is also a beach snack bar and tea and cakes in the afternoon at the cake bar near the pool. The staff are very friendly and seem very keen to help with any problems. Due to the Libyan situation, some trips were cancelled, but my husband and I did the pirate boat excursion which was very enjoyable stopping off at Flamingo Island for swimming and a very nice lunch and entertainment. We also did the Just Djerba trip which entails going to The Djerba Art Museum,Synagogue, Old Fort, local market and potteries. This was a very good holiday, a lovely place and we would return to Djerba and this hotel.More

Third time at Penelope Beach Imperial and still as magical as ever
Just got back from our third visit to this hotel. We never normally return to the same hotel but Magic Life has proved to be the exception and we hope to be able to return again next year. On this occasion we travelled with friends who were keen to join us having heard so much about the place from our previous visits. From the moment we arrived we were give a warm welcome and a refreshing drink whilst our luggage was delivered to our room. The facilities at the hotel are exceptional and the numerous activities available should satisfy even the most active person's needs. The entertainment team work extremely hard to make sure that everyone has a great time but if you just want to relax and chill there is no pressure applied to take part. One of the big attractions is the free watersports on the beach which include water-skiing, wake-boarding, banana boat, windsurfing and kayaking. Slah the boat captain is a really good driver and is happy to take out both experienced and novice skiers. He was pleased to see us again and we took him some photos of the three of us together from our last visit. The food in the main buffet restaurant is excellent with many of the dishes being freshly cooked as you wait. There is always a very wide range of choice which should satisfy even the most fussy eater. Each evening in the buffet there is a different theme including French, Italian, Tunisian, Chinese, Fish but the evening not to miss is the weekly Gala Night when the food is of an even higher standard. We also visited each of the 3 A la carte restaurants (Thai, Italian and Tunisian) all of which have had changes in the menus since our last visit and we would recommend a visit to each of these. There is also a wide choice offered for breakfast with our personal favourite being the freshly made to order omelettes. Our favourite place to drink in the evening was the Jazz Bar where Mourhad our friendly barman made by far the best cocktails. After we had worked our way through the cocktail menu in the first few days, Mourhad started making us his own special cocktails which were delicious especially his banana special! What really makes Magic Life so special is its staff, everyone is so friendly from the cleaners to the gardeners, the security guards, waiters, bar staff right through to the entertainment team and the reception staff, each time we return to magic life we feel as if we have come home and are able to relax into holiday mode immediately.More
