Intertur Miami Ibiza Hotel & Apartments

This family-friendly hotel is just steps away from a sandy beach. There are 2 pools, too, and a pair of sun terraces with views over the bay.

This hotel and apartments complex is well set up for families, thanks to its pools, playground and evening entertainment. A beach on the doorstep is a highlight.

Out and about, it’s a 5-minute walk to harbour-side restaurants and bars.

Pleasant apartments, customer service disappointing

Unfortunately our stay got off to a bad start, half hour to check in only to find we had not been allocated a sea view as booked (reading through other reviews this seems a common theme), and our apartment was down five steps which was not good news when you are using a pushchair. The man on reception was not interested in resolving the issue. Although after 2 more visits to main reception, we were able to move the next day there was no apology or offer of a refund only a request to vacate the current apartment and store our luggage in the luggage room until the new apartment was ready!!! The apartments are well maintained and furnished and the beds were comfy, although there's a drain smell outside that did sometimes affect the apartments, also at night the air conditioning system sounded like an aircraft landing even when switched off. The apartments were cleaned everyday. There was a nice pool area at the apartments, the hotel pool was busier, there was also a balcony area of sunbeds with adjustable headrests. Everyday there were numerous free sunbeds. The splash area for children was excellent and my 18month old son enjoyed every moment. The restaurant was pleasant and had a nice outdoor area. The layout of food/drinks was not always easy to navigate and it would be helpful if trays were provided. Food was always hot. Breakfast had a nice range of cakes and biscuits, disappointingly there were no omelettes. I'm a fussy eater but always found something at dinner. there was a drinks deal for 2 euros a day for unlimited drinks at dinner. Its a shame that such a nice place has shoddy customer service and must be overbooking their sea view rooms.More

Clean apartments, can be noisy

We recently stayed in the apartments, which is in a different building to the main hotel and has a separate pool. The room was very spacious and clean and very near the beach. Unfortunately our room was right next to another hotel and we had to endure the sound of the kids disco until midnight every night. We probably wouldn't visit es canar again, as there were only a few restaurants and there wasn't much to do on an evening unless you're all inclusive. More

a must stay location

just flew back yesterday & wished so much we had booked 2 wks. I would say it is already a good quality 4* that just needs freshened up!! it is getting a makeover & increased to 4* next year & will be well deserved. I am a fussy mare & not easily pleased but I will be going back & to the Miami. 2 gripes 1. no tea/coffee facilities in room(getting sorted next year so gripe gone) 2. the towels on beds round the pool but that's always going to happen as long as ignorant selfish tourists tour!!!! So many activities on the door step & not at rip off prices, shops, bars & eateries all within 5 mins walk of hotel. We were half board & food selection/variety was so good we never bothered to eat out of hotel at night. Changing evening meal to lunch was an option but didn't bother. rooms are small & so are balconies but again this did not bother us as beds were comfy & we only used balcony to go out for a cig. We only used room to sleep so was just dandy for us but if you like space you may be better going for the apartments. The pool area was massive loads of beds & great area for children. a few steps from pool area & that's you on the beach.More

Nice Hotel.

Just returned from this hotel. We went with our 13 year old daughter. Hotel is beautiful and in an excellent location, on the beach near lovely little beach cafés, shops and bus station/ferrys for day trips around the island. The hotel staff are all helpful, friendly and welcoming. Good is lovely! I do wish I had learned sooner that glass drinks are served inside the hotel bar, as I tended get fed up of crushable plastic cups, they make drinks go flat and warm very fast! I understand there are hundreds of guests, and it's harder work cleaning rather than throwing away, they could use stronger plastic cups on an evening, as other hotels in Es Cana do. It's just tastes a little better. Through visits to other hotels I also think the animation staff could be a little more, well, animated. That's not to say they're not all lovely by any means, just need to be able to work a crowd a little more. Also, I wish I knew through previous reviews there are lots of German guests, as while playing in the pool with my daughter, lots of other German children and parents joined in our fun, and I would have loved to have brushed up on my German to enjoy more conversation with them! I will no doubt be doing this should I return to the hotel, seeing as so many of them made the effort to speak English! Overall a really lovely, enjoyable holiday. Thanks so much to you all at the Miami Hotel!More

Shelley H,

Fantastic Holiday

We have just spent our first holiday at the Miami in Es-Cana. We found the Hotel spotlessly clean at all times. Food and facilities of a very good standard. Staff were always very polite and helpful, all thou at times the bar staff could have been more friendly. The hotel location is right on the beach. Beach and sea is excellent for all ages. We will definitely be returning to this hotel again in the future.More
