This family-friendly hotel is just steps away from a sandy beach. There are 2 pools, too, and a pair of sun terraces with views over the bay.
This hotel and apartments complex is well set up for families, thanks to its pools, playground and evening entertainment. A beach on the doorstep is a highlight.
Out and about, it’s a 5-minute walk to harbour-side restaurants and bars.

Holiday for family of 10
Arrived at hotel at 11.00pm at night and was greeted by very welcoming reception staff. We were also allowed into the food hall where we could enjoy a cold Buffett. Our room was spacious which the maids cleaned without fail everydayMore

Loved it !
We have just spent a week here and on first impressions we thought that perhaps we should have stuck to our usual 4 star accommodation but within 24 hours we were in love with the place. The location of this hotel is perfect. We had a room with a sea view and what a view it was ! The staff here work tirelessly and are lovely. Our rooms were spotless and the food was certainly as good as every other all inclusive packages we have been on.It was fresh and varied. Our kids (13 and 11) loved it and made friends from the beginning. It was quiet at nights so no rowdy groups. The only downside is the entertainment programme can be very cheesy although the magician and Explosiv were fantastic. I would definitely go again and a big thank you to the fabulous staff for making it such a great experience .More

Great place to stay.
Stayed from 22 July to 2nd Aug - 11 nights AI 2 adults one 16yr old girl. Top floor standard sea view room 507 facing in the opposite direction to the pool area & main beach strip. Nice sea view. Sunrise can be viewed, a must see! No noise at night from entertainment. Safe is in the wardrobe, Adequate room for our needs. One double bed, one sofa bed. Sofa bed was hard, double comfortable. Air con ok, operated by slotting your key fob into the slot which turned on the electric. TIP use a flat luggage label type sized object to slot in instead then you come back to a cool room as you get ONE key only per room. Air con was a bit noisy, as generators were on the roof. Flat screen tv with a few English channels. Bathroom with towels, bath towels large. Leave on floor to replace with fresh. Small toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, comb. Balcony Small table & 2 chairs. Took a cheap travel washing line to hang bits on & secure towels so they didn't blow away.. Maid daily, always friendly, room lovely & tidy. Remember to put sign on door before you go to bed if you are a late riser. They will do your room later when you turn it around. Food was the best I've had in a 3 star. Plentiful & varied. A few dishes are repeated, chips, pizza etc on a daily basis so that popular familiar dishes especially for some kids are there as a good fall back. Show cooking every day. Lots of different meal combinations & salads. Puddings standard continental cakes, jellies & fresh fruit. Breakfast = real Brit sausages! bacon ok, eggs, tomatoes, beans etc every day, also the usual continental fare, cereals, toast, preserves, pancakes, croissants .cakes. Omelettes done to order. Soft drinks, coke, lemonade, water in dining room, all help yourself wine & a beer tap. On check out day, we had a pick up at 6am the dining hall was open for tea/coffee/juice & a selection of cake, biccies etc for a light brekkie which was welcome. Snacks, ice cream or bikkies at the pool bar. You could go & get a snack in the dining hall but we didn't bother. 3 big meals a day left no room. Swimming pool, loved it! In the main pool it was the same depth all the way across. It was quite deep, I'm 5ft 7in & it came almost to my shoulders. Smaller section looked was a bit shallower & small section was shallower than that. Sun beds haha! as others have said, Grand National. Never got around the pool, but it was far too squashed to lie there anyhow. Nicest place was by the beach gate area, Always a bed here & close enough to nip on the beach & use the shower provided when you came back. Beach Safe shallow waters, but often spoiled by seaweed at times. We had one evening/early morning bout of heavy rain & loads of seaweed washed up onto the beach which wasn't pleasant. If you get a chance do the Formentera trip from the harbour, it was like being in the Caribbean. Entertainment we found poor, but no worse than any other med hotel. We often went to Charlies Bar, a 10 min walk across the beach or a 20 min walk past the shops. Great acts (Dream Dolls were funny) TIP grab a table inside half hour before performance when the show outside is going on. WIFI Really not worth it, but my daughter insisted on having it. Poor connections, best chance of a connection is in the reception area. Should be included in the price if you are AI. Nearby shops, standard gift shops, beach shops etc. Bars/cafes near the harbour. Follow the road right past the harbour until you reach the Hippy Market held on a Wednesday. We hired a car for 3 days via TC rep & saw a lot of the island, it was worth it. All in all a great holiday. Family friendly resort. Would go back.More

Great hotel for families
Stayed there for a week end July-beginning August. Food is great and always something nice to eat. The beach is fantastic- take a snorkel with you as the fish are amazing, if you go slightly more out and take a bread roll they will even come and eat out of your hand. My little boy loved it there- there is so much to do for children. Entertainment is typical of all inclusive hotel. Kids club is very safe and very we'll run. Drinks were great and of decent quality. For a 3* hotel the food is fantastic and as good if not better than some of the 4* hotels we have stayed in. The rooms are quite basic but it is a 3* hotel! ours was cleaned with fresh towels every single day which is fantastic. Es canar is a lovely place, plenty of little bars to drink in and a really nice swanky one that is free which they have fire shows etc in. I would definitely return to es canar and this hotel. Fantastic time had by all. Lynsey & Scott xxxMore
