had an amazing time at this hotel, it was the perfect location, right on the beach it was a great place to stay with loads of things to do . the entertainment team were all very friendly, we didn't have much to do with the girls but the two boys (Jonas and Fabian )couldn't have been any better they were polite and helpful they helped make our holiday enjoyable and fun. all the staff were very friendly and the hotel was spotless the pool area was lovely and loads of space to sit or lay and relax. the food and drink was of a high standard and plenty of choice. never been to this hotel before but have come home and already booked another visitMore

Good hotel for a three star rating

I must admit to neither choosing this hotel nor the locations and was a bit worried about going that is another story . We were in a superior room in the hotel half board and I thought it punched well above it's weight for a three star hotel. We were there from the 20th of September so the schools were back and we , being grandparents, enjoyed seeing the little children having fun though not their screaming at dinner . Our room was good and the beds exceptionally good . We were on the fourth floor with a view over the pool and got sun from midday until we watch it set. The bed linen was changed at least once during our stay but we felt the room did not get as good a clean as we would have liked . On the subject of cleaning I have never in any star rated hotel seen a pool area so well cleaned. We were in a position to watch it being done and it was a wonder to behold. The children's area especially was very well cleaned. Beware of leaving anything behind after they close as they do dispose of anything left. We were not involved in a rush to get a bed at this time of year. The sun beds on the upstairs terrace were adjustable and very comfortable as were the seats. We always found plenty places to sit every day. The food was very good at breakfast average at dinner but eating out was so inexpensive we could not believe it. At lunch we had a Bacardi and Coke a main course then coffee and that was between £20 and £25 a day . Do go to the Marvent cafe/restaurant it was full every day when others were not and it was great. The resort itself I would not return to: there was nothing to commend it at all apart from the beach . There was no nightlife and I pity any parents with children if it rained as there was nowhere to take them. Room tips: Wi-Fi pretty poor but we paid for it. My husband could send e-mails I could not and we had similar phones. We paid for the safe and the fridge which was hardly used . Wine in the restaurant is very reasonable. Take an old credit card and leave it in the slot where you put your key to keep charging you phone or keep the air conditioning on while you are away . Reception were all lovely as were the waiting staff . Would I go back ? Only if it was a real bargain not because of the hotel not being good but because of the resort and the terrible flights we had thanks to stag and hen paries who were noisy and disruptive both going and returning.More

Value for money Miami

My wife and I enjoyed a week at this hotel in Es Canar on the 19th to 26th September 2015.It is a very busy hotel and my wife and I can understand why. Normally we go half board but this time we tried All inclusive. Very good vale for money. All the staff we spoke to were pleasant, polite and helpful. The room was very comfortable and had a sea view. Meals were ok, something for everyone in a very busy dining room. Everyone has their own views on entertainment, but I thought it was a little poor. My wife and I prefer the beach, an this hotel is perfectly situated, being able to take your drinks from the hotel with you. Their were the usual race for sunbeds round the pool, I have never seen so many sunbeds far too close together which made it very difficult for people with mobility problems to get to the sun terrace bars. All the staff work extremely hard to keep this hotel clean. We are preparing our return next year to this lovely, comfortable hotel.More
