good but very big

went here on the 21st sept lovely hotel. food very good standard. rooms clean and tidy, the only downside was the size of the hotel. would not like to go there in high season. as it was a struggle to get space to move. but overall very nice hotel. staff were very helpful.More

Absolutely brilliant

We have stayed in this hotel every May or June for the last 3 years. We take our granddaughter who is now 5. Cannot fault the place. The staff fall over backwards to help. The food is of good quality and there is always a very good choice. The location is ideal and a stones throw away from the beach. Entertainment not too bad although we found the reps shows better. There is plenty of activities for all during the day and our granddaughter loved the kids club and splash pool.More

Debby C,

Reasonable Holiday with reservations

Have taken some time to think about what to say about this hotel having stayed in the high season in August this year. We arrived late at night about 11.30 by the time we had booked in everything had closed we were allowed into the restaurant to get a drink. We had booked the hotel in December last year for interconnecting rooms as my husband is disabled and my daughter needed easy access to help us. We were given rooms quite a distance apart and obviously not what I had booked the reception did say they would try to change our rooms the next day. I then went down the next day as we had been unable to unpack as we supposed to be moving to a room that was more suitable for us. They did said that they had no rooms for us to change to bearing in mind I had booked this in December as i said and Intertur had emailed me two weeks before we left to confirm the interconnecting rooms. Well!! after 3 days of frustration and round about 10 visits to the reception we got changed to a room that we had booked originally. I am quite sure if we had not kept complaining about us being in the wrong rooms nothing would have been done. Meanwhile we then had the sunbed situation which was absolutely horrendous!!! people were arriving at the hotel and putting towels on beds for the whole stay of their holiday so there were never going to be any for us to sit on so my husband had to sit in his wheelchair all day. We ended up going to the apartment's pool as it was much more civilised but there was no bar there or any drinks whatsoever. After about a week because of all the complaints the hotel decided to do something about the sunbed situation (my daughter put a photograph of the situation on Facebook) and to be fair they did stop the towels going on the beds but it should never have come to that. Then in the evening the entertainment was all outside so if you wanted to sit outside and have a drink you had to listen to the poor entertainment on offer. All the chairs were put out by the bar area so no space for somebody in a wheelchair to get through we ended up going to the bar across the road. Bearing in mind this was the high season in all of our opinions the Hotel's facilities are not adequate for the amount of rooms in the Hotel and we went there because they are supposed to accommodate disabled people admittedly there are ramps for wheelchairs but thats about all. We couldn't get to the beach from the Hotel with the wheelchair so couldn't go on the beach. The reason we went to this Hotel was because we stayed at the Hawaii Torrenova Aparthotel in Majorca last year and thoroughly enjoyed it even though it was not wheelchair friendly we managed. I would not stay at the Miami Ibiza again and certainly not in the high season we are certainly not difficult to please in fact rather easy going normally but it was not a cheap holiday and quite disappointing really. We did not come home with the feeling that we had enjoyed our holiday there was too much disruption and hassle. I am sure people who go in the low season would not have so many problems but the hotel should not take bookings if they can't carry them out!!!More

Great winter break

Just returned from Hotel Miami in Ibiza, good 3 star hotel situated in a wonderful position overlooking the bay with direct access onto the beach. Hotel is all inclusive which does what is says on the tin. Reception areas were all spotless as were the pool areas. Bedroom was adequate for the 4 of us, not big but still OK, no sea view as we didn't pay the extra. The bedroom was spotless again however the room could have done with a coat of paint and the hall way carpets had seen better days, the hotel closed for the season just after we left so hopefully the painters will be busy. The restaurant nicely set out with outside tables if required overlooking the gardens and pool, the food was very good, nice varied cold selection, typical hotel food with lots for the kids as well as some specials for the adults, paella, king prawns, fish dish every night etc, lots of fruit, sticky puddings and cakes. Pools were good with a kids pirate splash pool to one side. The entertainment was what you expect, some good some not so but its all included and you don't have to go. The resort was in the process of closing for the season however that didn't spoil the holiday as the weather was perfect and the sea still warm to swim in, you can walk into the next few bays within 10 to 30 minutes and the Hippy Market (Wednesday) is a 20 minute walk away, free entry and worth the trip. Overall the holiday was great, couldn't fault the hotel or staff, yes I would recommend it but would pick somewhere else to go just to see something different next time.More

Fantastic holiday

Spent one week here during October half term. Couldn't fault the hotel. We were upgraded to an interconnecting room without asking. This was fantastic as the children then had their own bedroom along with an extra bathroom. We didn't have a sea view, but to be honest, we didn't spend much time in the room in the day anyway. The food in the restaurant was fantastic. There was great choice every single day and night, with lots of options for the children. Breakfast was also great with choices of pancakes, omelettes, croissants, cooked breakfast, cereal, as much as you want and more. Drinks in the restaurant was self service, again brilliant. Wine and lager on tap, along with fizzy drinks. The kids panda club was great and well run. My children loved it and gave us four hours a day to ourselves, what a bonus! They also loved mini-disco. Entertainment not great, but at least they tried. The beach was right outside the hotel and was lovely. The pools were clean and there were always plenty of loungers. Es Cana was very quiet which was great for us. Would definitely recommend.More
