This away-from-it-all place has great views, plenty of pools and a beach on tap.
This place is split into 2 – the clifftop Cala Verde and beach-side Cala Blanca – in quiet Es Figueral. Lots of pools and a clutch of bars and restaurants are divvied up between both places.
A kids’ splash park, adults-only pool and chillout area are 3 of the highlights here. An extra bonus is the free shuttle bus to local towns and markets. And the beach is a 5-minute walk away.

Nice clubhotel in the middle of water, mountains, green. Every day free bus to the next village. Good food make this club one of the better clubs on Ibiza. Also the animation is very good: not only for the adults, there is also miniclub, midiclub en maxiclub for the children.More

Best holiday ever
This has been the best holiday. We were at hotel Cala Verde from 18th-26th of June and were very sad to leave. The food was amazing with such a great variety and we certainly would say it was of a 5* quality. The staff very were all extremely efficient and very willing to help. Hats off to the unsung heroes, the houskeeping staff who maintained the hotel again to a 5* standard. It was always spotless. Our rooms, although basic, were very clean and and comfortable with a fabulous sea view that was simply breathtaking!! Having visited the Cala Blanca (sister hotel), i felt let down by the smell of urine from the bar area and and the lack of friendliness from the bar staff, therefor would definitely say that the Cala Verde is of a far superior standard and wins hands down!! The bar staff at the Cala Verde were fabulous especially Carmen and Toni who were extremely patient with our kids and always remembered your preferred beverage. I too work in a hotel and know how difficult a job it is so well done to all the bar staff. I would like to thank the entire Animation team who entertained us all so well throughout our stay. Their Crazy show was by far the best show of the week followed by the mystic India show. Lupo and Giovanni who had us giggling every day with their fabulous games and demonstrations. Charlene, Cindi and Elena who were fabulous with our older girls and kept them active during our stay. Alex and Kiki too were amazing. This last part is dedicated to two fabulous individuals who are so wonderful at their jobs. Firstly Tomas from the fabulous mini club. As well as entertaining Katy, Emily, Lucy and Rosie at the mini club during the day, Tomas entertained our kids at the mini disco almost every night accompanied by the beautiful Mine and Charlene too. We are still listening to renditions of all the songs and would love to have a copy of the mini disco songs so they can practicefor next year. Last but certainly not least is little miss Mine, who also worked tirelessly at the mini club and mini disco. Mine is a charming and beautiful young lady who captured all our hearts, especially my four year old, Rosie!! It was very clear to see that she was loved by all the little kids who fought for a spot on her knee every night at showtime. She had a very special bond with us all and saying goodbye was very tearful for us all. Rosie adored her as did my oldest daughter Emily and they will miss her very much. Thanks for the best holiday so far...we are all looking forward to next year for more family fun at Cala Verde!!More
We chose this hotel based on the majority of reviews but the hotel did not work for us as a family at all: 2 adults and 17 month toddler. There are some positives such as ok food, welcoming stuff and beautiful setting but for us negatives outweighed the positives by far. We came home after spending 10 days there and were completely exhausted. Even if you get the nicest room, suite, it is still three star hotel and in some areas even less than three stars. We new about steps and remoteness of location but we hired the car and pram stayed in the car most of the time so we didn't need to drag it up every time. Main issues for us were: 1. Noise! We came to relax, sleep and expected calm atmosphere. Upon arrival we were given suite just above the stage, it has views to die for with 270 degrees sea view. What we came to realise is that there is entertainment going on almost all day around the pool and every night until almost 11pm you hear the show going on.As tired parents of a toddler we as well as little one wanted to catch up on the sleep and we all struggled to do that both during the day or in the evening. It was unbearable! After third night we were moved to another suite, furthest from the stage, just above car park but it didn't help much even with the earplugs. In the end after complaining to reception twice I talked to reception manager and for the last three night it was quieter but still not what you would call 'silent'. On the top of it all the walls of the rooms seemed to be made of carton so you always hear people around. Every morning we heard cleaner moving furniture on the floor below for at least an hour, it was jus annoying. Suites don't have any rooms next to them or above so I don't know how the rest of families cope. 2. Things to do with little ones I got an impression that older kids do enjoy it but for little ones there is nothing to do except half an hour mini disco at 8pm every night and shallow pool. We spent a day by the shallow pool in Cala Blanca, sister hotel, which our little one loved but she got congentivitis after this so we had to go to the local medical centre to get antibiotics. There was no pool for us after that and we explored beaches nearby. Absolutely loved Cala Llenya beach which is about 15 min drive from the hotel; very relaxed small place with great bar on the beach offering really good quality fast food, as much as fast food can be! You have to try local hot sandwich with Spanish omelette inside. Yam 3. Pillows, beds, and mattresses They are rock hard, never had such a bad sleep and such low quality amenities when sleeping in the hotels. After few days of suffering we asked for 'softer' pillows but they were the same as first ones just slimmer. Charging 200 EUR a night half board mid-season I expect better from any star hotel. This added to our noise issue hence we did not sleep properly a single night during the whole stay. 4.Cleanliness The standard of the rooms are adequate but they are not well maintained. Cleaning is very superficial, there is no deep clean between the change of guests as you can see shower grubby, sofa covers stained. Overall we say yes to coming back to Ibiza but definitely no to the hotel.Mass catering and mass everything else is not really for us.More

Subtle changes which make this excellent hotel even more fun
Hotel Cala Verde was quieter this year: still lots of people of many ages and nationalities, but a better balance of activities. Everyone able to find their own space and do their own thing. The food was even better and choices excellent: special cooking every night. I recommend a glass of chilled Cava with yoghurt and dried figs for breakfast: but don't tell your partner. Room service excellent and Josefina remembered us from previous years and always negotiated a good time to do the room. Hire a car at the airport and see Ibiza. Get fit before you arrive and go jogging in the morning followed by a swim in the clean Med. The adult pool at Cala Blanca is superb and we even had Cava and water melon on one day! I hope to return in 2016 for my 6th stay here!More
AMAZING HOTEL, BREATHTAKING VIEWS!âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸
We stayed here for a week in June, the hotel staff are very friendly always there to help.. The food is lovely, always a lot of choice and they cater for everyone. They have a wide variety of seafood, from mussels, sea bass, salmon even octopus. They have pizza, burgers & chips for the fussy eaters. The hotel located quite far away from the centre, if you are looking for peace and quiet by the beach then this is the hotel for you. The rooms and hotel are always kept so clean , the staff work long hours here and yet are still so friendly. This hotel is located on top of a cliff so it's quite steep with stairs , but the views are breathtaking. Golden sand with turquoise waters. You can rent a umbrella and 2 sun beds for 14euros a day on the beach. The sand does burn your feet when walking on it but it's lovely. Taxis can take you around the island at any time of day or night. The hippy market was a great night, we booked through the hotel so the coach transfers were included ð OVER ALL - this hotel is well worth the stay ððððMore
