This away-from-it-all place has great views, plenty of pools and a beach on tap.
This place is split into 2 – the clifftop Cala Verde and beach-side Cala Blanca – in quiet Es Figueral. Lots of pools and a clutch of bars and restaurants are divvied up between both places.
A kids’ splash park, adults-only pool and chillout area are 3 of the highlights here. An extra bonus is the free shuttle bus to local towns and markets. And the beach is a 5-minute walk away.

Poor first choice service
The hotel clean staff helpful and polite room clean and maid service excellent and polite food very good entertainment average first choice rep service none existent rep on arrival poor . Got off two stop before our hotel told us bus driver would tell us where to get off. No contact from there onwards no arrival meeting had to ask other company reps for information. Have traveled with Thomson and first choice many times and are appalled at lack of service it did not spoil our holiday but it did not make it.More
The bar on hotels has been raised
I have stayed in a few hotels, luckily in many countries as well as here in the UK, but I have to say that this hotel has really wowed me. We have just arrived back from 7 amazing nights in the Cala Verde hotel. It was the first time that we had taken our little girl away and our first family holiday, and for me will be a memorable one. The hotel team are friendly, knowledgable and welcoming... Every question answered and even when we arrived in our room and the cot was not there, one quick call to reception and within 2 mins the cot had arrived also with a sorry...I never hear that word in UK hotels!! The hotel animation team are fab... They created some amazing nights that were funny, entertaining and enjoyable... I would say that they work so hard, being there all day to entertain the kids and adults ... Never pestering, but more so wanting you to have a great time... This is so refreshing, most hotels could not be bothered! Even on the last night they had a problem with what they had planned... They did not cancel, instead they changed course and put on a different show that was really good fun. The food is sensational... Every day such amazing choice of fresh food and it never got boring to go and eat in the same place, again, something I feel other hotels cannot get right! The staff clear tables efficiently and the whole restaurant is kept immaculate, as is the pool area bar, and again... Amazing staff! The whole hotel is spotless, the cleaning team are so hardworking and friendly and could not do enough. I have worked in retail for 18 years and I have never seen a team work so well to deliver such an amazing experience for the customer... It will be something I talk about to people I work with. This hotel is a must, great for couples and amazing for families... We will be recommending to our friends and family. I read all the comments before booking and it was what made us book... And they were right, we feel we have just gained the bargain holiday of a lifetime. Thank you to the team for an amazing week. Truly outstanding.More

A little paradise
Spent a week here with my daughter & her boyfriend.A beautiful hotel, especially the adult only pool & buddha chill out area.Lovely setting on a cliff top, spectacular views, friendly, helpful staff with an amazing choice of food that was quickly replenished so plenty available at all times. The beach is a couple minutes walk away & was never crowded.Sunbeds were also easy enough to get.Highly recommend a stay here,we had a wonderful time & would definitely book here again. It really is a little paradiseMore
Very enjoyable September holiday
I can only endorse what the majority of people have commented on. The staff couldn't do enough for you. Rooms yes basic but all you need. I was with my daughters and their families seven of us in all. I had to be in a room on my own (paid a supplement with being on my own) but I got the same size room as them. I have had a single room before and ended up in a pokey little closet so this was luxury for me. I am no spring chicken and there are a lot of steps and stairs which are challenging if you have babies and buggies but it would not put me off from going back. The hotel is built on a cliff so lots of steps are inevitable and anyway the view makes up for it, it really is breath taking. hadn't been to Ibiza since 1969 and I had forgotten what a beautiful island it is. The people are so friendly and helpful from the taxi drivers coach drivers and hotel staff. They all went out of their way to help. We had actually gone to Ibiza for my nieces' wedding and five minutes before we were due to leave for the ceremony one of my young grandsons was very sick. Luckily the cleaner in our block Neomi was still working and without hesitation she said "I will sort it for you no problem". She was an absolute gem. When we returned from the wedding it was all clean and disinfected !! The food was of a high standard and even tho there were a lot of guests we never had to queue, best food I have had in the Balearic's. Going all inclusive is great when you have little ones to you don't have to scour the neighbourhood for restaurants and snack bars. You can eat and drink all day long if you want. Even the alcohol was branded names, Gordons, Barcardi Smirnoff not that I drink very often but really enjoyed being able to have my favourite tipple after dinner. The entertainment team worked very hard without being too pushy. Had one disappointment, my niece and her groom to be came over to the hotel to make last minute arrangments with us (my daughters were bridesmaids) and there was kind of a security man and he would not let them into the grounds at all which I thought was mean they were not coming to exploit the facilities or anything !!! Anyway its was a great holiday, good food, friendly atmosphere, beautiful location. Downside rather isolated and lots of stairs but in my view good value for money and yes I would not hesitate to stay there again..More

September stay Cala Verde
Stayed 10 nights , really enjoyed it. Food first class , staff also first class. Whether its a cup or a glass , never left more than five minutes before its cleared away , staff constantly buzzing around without being intrusive whether in the resturant or within the hotel.First week very quiet , second week a bit more noisy due to a young Italian party arriving , although to be fair it was the older ones who were very loud outside room corridor ,especially when getting ready to go down for dinner.Thankfully did not stop kids from sleeping so i suppose no harm done.We left my grandsons toy bag on the bus that dropped us off , reported it to the staff who got it back within two days , no fuss.We also lost a pair of sunglasses and again they were handed in by another guest.A really relaxed , safe , enjoyable atmosphere it has to be said.Thought the 20 euro cost of wi-fi for a week was a tad expensive , would have expected it to be free in an all inclusive hotel.Another small disappointment only two english (news) channels in room, more would have been preffered.Be aware , especially if taking young kids , quite a trek on the bus to and from hotel if the kids a tired , over an hour to hotel. I would go again because the kids had a great timeMore
