Gluten free

My husband needs a gluten free diet. This hotel was FANTASTIC at looking after him! Excellent choice of food and one of the waiters took him round each meal time to show him what was safe for him to eat. Excellent hotel and super staff. Top marks.More

Different to before😐

Me and my partner went back to this holiday village in October after going there with our two boys in April 2013. Due to how great it was last time we thought we would go back again as a couple. But I was disappointed at how different it was. Although the food was still lovely and the restaurants were still very nice, the night time was very boring at times. In actual fact I'm glad we only done a week, there is NO disco, NO karaoke and you can't even have a dance. All you get is a adult game show, which ends at 10:30 and then someone sings some really boring karaoke songs ( meant to be entertainment staff ), the guy was funny who run the show and that was about it!, so if you want somewhere that you can let your hair down and have a dance then this is NOT your cup of tea. I found that I got dressed up for no reason as you just sat down all evening, done a quiz and watched some adults try and be funny. It's good for kids but for adults aged 30 -40 I wouldn't recommend this hotel unless you are content with a couple of drinks and bed by 10:00. 😞.More

Stayed here with my girlfriend in September. First time in Sharm but wouldn't go back in a hurry as we found the whole experience just average. Buffet was average, drinks were terrible (cocktails were disgusting). The local beer was not so bad though. Al A Carte restaurants were again...average. The Diner and Steakhouse on the beach is such a waste of an opportunity as the beach is not lit up so you're just staring into darkness. Entertainment is...yep, average. A bit like Phoenix Nights some nights. Nothing to do in the evenings not even a nice bar to sit in. We were back in our room by 10 most nights through boredom. Outside the hotel is like a war zone. We chatted to a few people whilst we were there who had the same opinion so confused by the great reviews. Lots of families and kids which was strange considering the time of year. This holiday/hotel would be ok for families but definitely would not recommend for couples. Its like Butlins in Egypt. Positives - weather, snorkeling (tip is to go to where it drops off), oh...and the beds were huge and comfy!! More

Fab,fab,fab, definitely recommend

Stayed here for 2 weeks from the 12th October with my husband and two children (5&9). First visit to Egypt and what can we say, love Sharm, love the hotel but it's the staff that really make the holiday. From the pool guys, cleaners, gardeners and restaurant & bar staff, they all go out of their way to make sure you have a fab holiday. We have already re booked to come back next August. Stayed in a swim up room in block 12, this block is right at the top of the resort so a fair walk to the beach etc... but lovely and quiet with no one walking past except for the regular visit from your swim up bar man every 30 mins or so. Kids loved the kids club, lots of different things going on day and night. Food and drinks really good. Both myself and husband had a bit of Egypt belly but think that's more to do with the change of diet and gorgeous hot weather and probably not enough water. Any questions please feel free to ask, but would recommend not just to families, but couples of all ages.More

2nd Visit

We first visited in november 2014 as a family and we loved our time here. It was our first time to visit egypt. We then returned June 15 with my sister and her family. The hotel is huge, choice of pools and places to relax. Beach is off the back of the hotel and walkable. Food was varied everyday and always had lots to chose from. Definitely eat at all the a la cart restaurants as they are brilliant. All the staff here are great, they always go out of their way to make you smile. Service wise, nothing is too much trouble at all. Adel around the pool is a top man and always made sure we were with drinks day or night. Will no doubt be back again in the future.More
