Very good stay.
Stayed here for a week at the beginning of October and it was my first experience of Egypt and a holiday village. Quick and easy transfer from the airport. Check in was smooth and straightforward with friendly staff. Once escorted to our room we did feel a bit lost and abandoned as we had been told the restaurant had stayed open for our group of night time arrivals but we had no idea how to find it. We were in block 9 which was great once we had settled in but was a bit remote without having been told the basics on how to find things. The place is massive so maybe a site map on check in would be useful for first timers like us. We also weren't given our wrist bands on check in which we had to sort out after another guest pointed it out to us. All issues were dealt with promptly and courteously by the front desk staff. Otherwise we really liked it here. Really well maintained gardens, good options of pools, our rooms was cleaned very well and was large with a fabulously big, comfy bed. The food was very good and the majority of the staff were excellent, friendly and certainly worked really hard. This would be a great place for families year round, loads of activities for children although at this time of year it was great for us as a couple too. We tried a couple of times to visit the view bar but it was always really busy and nowhere left to sit so we tended to favour the sports bar which was quite quiet but the two regular members of bar staff for our stay were great in there. Overall a great chilled out holiday and would happily go back. More

Fantastic second visit!!
We first visited holiday Village in Sept 2012 and after enjoying the guaranteed sunshine in Eqypt and a free child place we decided to rebook for Sept 2014 and we loved every minute of it! The Holiday Village was better than 2012 in so many ways: -The quality of food in the main buffet restaurant with make your own pizzas, panini's, pasta to mention a few of our favourites, the food was thoroughly cooked. -The A La Cart restaurants are a great addition to this hotel it takes out the hustle and bustle of the main restaurant when there is a big group as we all get to eat at the same time. The quality and choice of food meant that there was something for everyone. We never had a bad meal and there was always a good portion size. -The staff that work at the Holiday Village would do anything to ensure you had a good holiday and it felt like there was a lot more staff available in all restaurants and bar areas. Our favourites were Ali Mohammad main pool bar who made sure we had drinks day and night and Lapib from the towel hut who never failed to make us laugh. -Rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels and the grounds and gardens of the hotel are very well looked after. -First Choice Holiday reps especially Shakira, she was so friendly and helpful and came round daily to see if we were ok and just had generally chat about what we had done on our holiday, she seemed genuinely interested. Anna and Tom at the evening entertainment always ensured that people were having a good night. -During our 2 week stay the main pool was closed twice for 2 hours after an accident/illness in the pool. I witnessed people being rude to the pool attendants that were busy trying to clean it up and clean the pool through, I know it was hot and 2 hours seems a long time but they are doing it to protect further problems/illnesses and I think it's unfair to have a go the poor pool attendants. My only feedback on the hotel would be that the main pool desperately needs some attention, the floor around the pool is crumbling and it was sharp on your feet, also I think the pool needed a good clean. Feedback on First choice there seemed to only be a 1 week rota for evening entertainment for example we watched the Egyptian break dance on week 1 one which was really good but in week 2 it was exactly the same show. I just think that this could have been a different routine. We used Falcon Adventures just outside the Hotel to go quad biking and I wish we had hired a Wifi pebble from them as the hotel free Wifi is only picked up in the hotel reception so during peak times it's really slow. As returning customers we got half price late checkout but we had already added it to our original First Choice booking, free manicures at the Spa, free Kodak pictures and half way through the holiday we got up an upgrade to a kids den room over looking the main pool. We are hoping to return to the Coral Sea Holiday Village in the future!!More

Stayed at Coral Sea Hoiday Village from 20 -27 Sept 2014 . We were in block 5 room spotlessly cleaned every day. Food very good no stomach problems plenty of choice and all very well presented and well cooked. Have to mention excellent staff throughout hotel who gave excellent service particularly the ladies in the spa where we had fantastic massages twice during holiday would definitely return to this hotelMore
Went here for 1 week with my husband, wasn't sure what to expecgt after reading mixed reviews, but we needn't of worried. The hotel is lovely we stayed in a select room which was very spacious and clean. We didn't eat in the buffet restaurant as we used the Al a carte ones which were all very good, we paid to go in the stone grill restaurant which was excellent value, the fillet steak was very big and for £7.50 excellent value for money. Staff were friendly and attentive we did tip but it wasn't expected. Drinks were not great in choice or quality but what we've come to expect abroad. Entertainment was probably one of the best we've seen abroad, the entertainment team were first choice, they provided lots of daytime and evening entertainment but weren't too pushy if you didn't want to join in. Overall we had a lovely relaxing week and wouldn't hestitate going back again.More

Going back soon
Just returned from this hotel yesterday, didn't want to leave. Room was huge, as was the bed, and probably the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in away from home. Rooms cleaned every day and staff very polite and friendly. Huge pool, but very busy and beds very close together, but clean pool, clean tiles etc. Someone always around cleaning the tiles, pathways etc because of ice cream being dropped by the kids. There is another pool, called the quiet pool, plenty of beds, spaced out and a bar. We only went on the beach, and Salam put our towels out on the beds for us every morning without fail. He was chatty and liked to have a laugh with his guests. Beach toilets very clean. Weather was brilliant, in the high 80's, a few days a little windy, but died down in the afternoon. The sea is very shallow for a long long way, so good for children, probably 200 yards out and still only up to your knees. For all the snorkel people, coral is a long way out, although jetties there. There are diving and boat trips to go on, to Sharks Bay (around the corner) a lot more to see, and not far in the minibus. There are 7 restaurants in all. (All have hand sanitizers outside, very welcome nowadays). The main hall, and four others, complimentary - one visit per week, Mexican, Chinese, Mediterranean and Indian. Could not fault any of them, really lovely food and great service. The fish restaurant and the Stone Grill (on the beach) were the other ones and you had to pay if you dined there. The main dining area was as they usually are with all inclusive. Great selection of food, something for everyone, even a gluten free selection. We mainly had freshly cooked omelettes, tomatoes, mushrooms etc for breakfast, but there were cereals, fruit, ham, cheese, bread, toast, pancakes, fried/scrambled/poached eggs. Lunch, you could eat there in the main hall, plenty to choose from, or by the pool, a barbeque, with either burgers or chicken and a selection of salads, chips or Mediterranean vegetables. Or by the pool there was an indoor restaurant, serving pizza, chips, salad, chicken, battered fish (very nice). So you could choose where and what you wanted. When the restaurants had finished serving, and we walked back from the beach, there is an outdoor seating area by the main hall, serving tea, juices and a different selection of snacks. Burgers or hot dogs, sausage rolls, cake, pastries - just to keep us topped up!! All the staff are friendly and do the best they can for you. Outside of the hotel, very busy, lots of shops, places to look around etc, but you will be hassled, so up to you! One tip, to all travellers going to Sharm El Sheikh, take English pound coins and also English notes (they will ask you to change coins in to notes for them). Tipping is a life line for them. Also tip them near the beginning of your holiday, and during your holiday (the odd pound every so often), they appreciate it all the more. I will definitely return to this hotel, so enjoyed the holiday. Great place, great staff, will be back.More
