Excellent family holiday
We stayed for a week at the beginning of August and we all had a great time. 1st class service from all and all staff worked very hard indeed, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are very spacious and cleaned to a very high standard. We have 8 year old twins, they loved the kids club and went to the football academy a couple of days, they had a fantastic time as did we all. Food quality was very good and the selection was vast. We all had a great holiday and have just booked to go back next year. More
A fantastic stay!!!
Great resort, very family orientated, nice pools. Beach was ok, the sand wasn't great had small stones in that hurt your feet! We stayed in a family suit and it was beautiful not big enough for a family of 4 but as there was two of us it was more than enough! A walk in shower! One of the hotel staff Basem made our stay great! He was hilarious! Overall a great stay!More

Me and my wife stayed at the holiday village from 4th September for 2 weeks. I want to mention things on here which i not see get mentioned much on here. I firstly want to say this is our first visit to Egypt and we loved pretty much everything about it. Only 15 minutes from airport which is great. We arrived late in the evening got checked in quickly and had suitcases taken to room. We had a little snack in the restaurant which is much needed after a long journey. We had 2 drinks in the sports bar before the free drinks close at midnight. To be honest this is the one of the only small little things that need to be looked at. As others have mentioned it is a bit dark and uninviting but ok if you want catch a football game. I suggest going on the tour of the village as you get some good little hints for your stay. For instance i didn't realise you could get a wifi dongle that cost me about £10 a week and could be used everywhere in sharm which was great for me. Be aware it isn't great for speed but fine for general web browsing. We got told about the View Bar which is 18+ bar and was our bar of choice for the 2 weeks. James from First Choice did a cracking job to keep you entertained with a quiz then a game show followed by a singer. its a great place to make friends which we did and we made lots which makes the holiday experience that much better. Mahmoud who ran the bar and looked after all the bars was amazing and made our holiday that much more special. Working so hard and doing long hours for weeks on end. We Stayed in block 14 and yes its about 6 or 7 minute walk to the main pool or al a carte restaurants but we really didn't mind the walk. Islam was our housekeeper and was very friendly and did a great job. We didn't go to the quiet pool but walked past it every day and does defintely what it says nice and quiet if you like that. The main pool is really nice and big and you will never go thirsty as Adel and all the guys do a great job to keep your drinks topped up. only thing that i would say is that a better sound system would make it perfect as used speakers from the ampi theatre which at times really distorted the sound. having other speakers around the pool would help with this. Beach was fine for us nice mix of sun beds and hanging double beds. I went snorkeling a far few times and was amazing as never been before seeing lots of different fish and even a manta ray! The food was brilliant and you have so much choice so don't ever believe anybody that says anything bad about the food. We loved the Chinese and Indian al-a carte as well as the American Diner though i'd say its a lot more Mexican than American. We will definitely be going back to the Holiday village hopefully as early as next year. I am happy to answer any questions people have about this place. Many thanks to all the staff from the Holiday Village and the First Choice team for making it such a wonderful holiday.More

Great Holiday at a great price
My partner and I paid £690 each for a 2 week holiday from the 3rd-17th Sept, if I'm honest at this price I didn't expect very much but I was pleasantly surprised. I stayed in block 13, I have seen a lot of complaints about this block being a long walk from reception, it really wasn't. We found cut through by the quiet pool, in my opinion no where within the hotel was a long walk. We were really happy with our room, a nice big shower a walk in wardrobe and a really comfy bed. We had robes, tea making facilities and a big TV and DVD player as well as a nice big balcony to sit out on overlooking the quiet pool. The mini bar is chargeable so we asked for it to be emptied (chocolate bars are about £2 each) just outside the hotel is a supermarket you can get snacks from for about 20p. We has requested swim up room but they had sold out. If I'm honest I'm glad we didn't have one. Although we were near the quiet pool it was a bit too quiet for us, so we would go by the activity pool which was a happy medium, it's beside the main pool but you are out of the way a bit too. We would join in with the activities around the pool water polo and a daily game of smite :) Look out of Miles he did really good job around the pool, all of the entertainment team did. The Food was OK, the buffet was catered for the English. There was lots of choice, but sometimes I couldn't find anything to eat because there was so much choice haha. They do have some restaurants you can go too. The worst being the Indian, I really didn't enjoy this one and I felt they were pushy for you to buy wine (you can have the house wine in the all inclusive but it tastes pretty bad) . I loved the village diner and the Mediterranean. You can pay to go to the stone grill too (which was very nice). The staff on the whole were great especially Ahmed Aziz who always made sure we had a drink when we were around the pool. We spent most nights in the View bar, this was an adult bar with adult only entertainment. one of my only criticisms was you had to get there really early if you wanted a seat. James did a very good at entertaining us. The beach isn't great, you have to go out on the jetty if you wish to swim. Also the alcoholic drinks aren't great unless you want to drink beer. It's safe enough to go out of the hotel for a drink. I really enjoyed this holiday and would come back to this hotelMore
