Stayed here for a week's holiday at the beginning of November. Great place to stat to relax, as well as take part in some of the activities on offer. Staff were really helpful and the hotel complex is smart and tidy. Would definitely recommend a stay here. More
As a previous serial visitor to Magic Life Sharm we thought we would give this hotel a chance. Basically the rooms, decor, facilities are all the same. The pools here are bigger and better. The gardens are beautiful and everywhere is clean. The beach and lagoon are very nice, it's great to be able to walk into the sea. The not so great parts are the quality of food and drinks is nowhere near Sharm. Everything is geared up for the German guests, very few brits in the hotel. The entertainment is non existent in the evenings unless your into the shows. The only other down side is location, there is nothing outside the hotel for miles. We had a great holiday and would return but still prefer SharmMore
FANTASTIC 5 STAR HOTEL
I have just returned from a weeks stay at the Tui magic Life. What can I say, this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and deserves being a 5 star hotel. I traveled with my husband and had a sea view room. We had a sitting area and a large bedroom. As it was by the sea it was very quiet and well away from the evening entertainment. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful, from the receptionist to the gentleman who cleaned our room, nothing was too much trouble. There is always something going on in the hotel, but you can also get away from the entertainment if you wish. The only drawbacks to this hotel is that it is set on its own and is about 1 hour from Hurghada and I would recommend you take your own snorkels as they charge you to use the hotels own ones. The lagoon was great and is safe to swim in, here you can use the hotels paddle boards and canoes and no extra charge, but will charge you a deposit for the windsurfs. Children are also well catered for at this hotel.More
Lovely family holiday
I travelled here with my Mum and my daughter, and we all agreed we had a great time. We went for a quiet week of relaxation and recharging, and it was good. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the service was excellent. We would return. There are several pools and we had no trouble getting sunbeds. The towel chap reserved our preferred beds for us. There was drinks service around the pool. We didn't spend time on the beach as it was down steps/a steep slope which my Mum couldn't manage. Although the resort is on a stretch of coast, only one part had beach - the rest of the coast was very rocky. The food was great, with a huge selection which suited all tastes. We visited the Indian restaurant and that was good too. The waiters in the main restaurant were hilarious, and looked after us well. There were a large number of activities, from aqua spinning (a new one on me, they had spinning bikes they put in the pool!) to shuffleboard and paddleboarding. The snorkelling off the reef was lovely, and supervised by a lifeguard. There were a fair number of entertainments in the evening -dance/acrobatic shows in the amphitheatre, cinema screenings (the one I saw was in German with English subtitles). All the announcements were in German and English. I think ours was one of two English families at the resort. The majority of guests were German. One thing I noticed which I appreciated, was that even though it was UK half term, and there were a fair few families, the kids were all well behaved - no running around screaming or anything. Maybe were were lucky that week! We had a ground floor family room with a garden view. It was fine. Big walk in shower was good too. Only minor niggle was that the lighting was a little dim in the room. The family room had a superking bed in the main bedroom, with 2 singles in a separate area. My Mum has mobility issues. There were a couple of areas of the resort she couldn't access - unfortunately this included 2 of the restaurants, which were up flights of stairs. However, they were so accommodating, I am sure if we had asked for them to serve meals from those restaurants to us downstairs that they probably would have done! We did ask the luggage buggy to ferry her from room to restaurant when she got tired, and they were very accommodating with this, although sometimes there was a bit of a wait. There was a kids club, but we didn't use it. I'm not sure how many of the kids would have spoken English anyway. The kids who were there seemed to be enjoying themselves!More
Was very pleasantly surprised
This hotel is a bit far out but so worth the journey, the bus can take from 40 minutes to 1 hour depending on the driver and time of day. From the moment you arrive until you leave its can be as busy and energetic or as relaxing as you like. Primarily German occupancy which i enjoyed as i don't go on holiday to spend my days as though i am at home. There were 11 of us on our bus from Gatwick, some Brits already there and a load more arrived on the Monday. You have a choice of lots of activities during the day although I preferred the quieter slide pool which had a view of the sea and a small walk round to the beach if you wanted to although I liked the pool better as I did not have the patience to rise at 7am to get a lounger at the front as the rest you seem to chase the sun all day. The snorkelling is amazing, you have a range of free watersports on the beach as well and they have lots of diving courses. Room was large, sea view although to the side which was nice and private, spotless with impeccable cleaning and staff are so friendly. Free water and juice in the fridge in room.Breakfast, lunch and evening meals at buffet restaurant have such a brilliant choice, you also have snacks available at all pools and on the beach from 11am until around 5pm. Enetrtainment at night ...loads something is happening all the time and I highly recommend the beach party which was a great laugh. Visited the disco as well which was quiet but if you are with the right crowd its still fun. The main bar beside reception makes amazing cocktails and its open 24 hours. All in all I would highly recommend this resort, they cannot do enough for you and the staff at the slide pool even lay your towels out for you coming down in the morning and the barman used to bring over refreshments during the day without you asking. The young chef at this pool wee named baby face also makes a very nice turkey sandwich.More
