This hotel is spot on for action-packed holidays, with three pools and a huge activities line-up. It’s also right on the beach, with its own coral reef.
The private stretch of sand here sidles up to a natural lagoon, where you can try everything from stand-up paddle boarding to diving in the off-shore coral reef.
You’ve got three pools to pick from at the hotel – including a family pool with slides. Out of the water, there’s archery, volleyball and yoga to get stuck into.

Nice but need to change the food
Nice pools , nice animation team, good rooms (family room) but the food was horrible. Flies everywhere on the cheese in the breakfast and in the sauce pan @ dinner. Very bad bakery, juice and even sprite ( machine) There is a bias against Egyptian kids in the kids club. More

Have been meaning to write this review for months now and finally getting round to it! We travelled to CML kalawy under our own steam, at the time thomsons had pulled out of this hotel ( however it's back for 2016). Flight was with monarch, cml taxi picked us up and it was about an hour to the hotel. There is absolutely nothing outside the hotel. However in the hotel there are a few shops selling the usual rubbish and a chemist/doctor. I may compare this hotel with CML Sharm and CML Africana as these are the other two CML hotels that we have been to. All the staff, without exception, were thrilled to have English visitors. Some times it felt like I was a school teacher as they would be constantly asking me how words were spelt and prounounced. They showed great interest in us, asking why we were there and seemed genuinely happy that we were visiting them. The bedrooms were of much higher standard than the other two CML hotels. The walk in shower was fantastic. Food and service were on a par with Sharm...excellent. All the facilities were close together and not such a trek as Sharm is. I would say the only really annoying part of this hotel, and hardly the hotels fault, is that there is a main road pad which runs past the hotel. When the lorries pass they beep their horns which, when you are just nodding off by the lagoon, it can wake you up with a bit if a start!!! The hotel has a resident Labrador called Ice. He was delightful and it was gear to see all the staff with him. If you decide to go take him some doggy treats as we did...he will be your friend for life!! To sum up this review I would say take the opportunity next year to go with thomsons. It will work out so much cheaper than we paid and is well worth a stay. Rooms, the food, the atmosphere, the garden, cocktails, lagoon - everything was perfect. Team of animators and many activities were for us great surprise.¨The only problem was often a red flag for snorkeling, but we did not mind at all, program the hotel was very professional and varied, Big recommendations!!!More

Incredible hotel if you don't mind the isolation
If you can get over the fact that this hotel is a long way from anyone or anything (which many may view as a bonus), it is an all round excellent hotel. It has something for everyone, with multiple pools, bars and its own private beach with free wind-surfing, paddle boarding and canoeing lessons. It even has private little shisha beds for an evening session. Our room got upgraded a a family suite with a sea view. It is worth realising that this hotel is huge and this does mean that you may be walking for 5-10 mins to get breakfast.More
