This hotel is spot on for action-packed holidays, with three pools and a huge activities line-up. It’s also right on the beach, with its own coral reef.
The private stretch of sand here sidles up to a natural lagoon, where you can try everything from stand-up paddle boarding to diving in the off-shore coral reef.
You’ve got three pools to pick from at the hotel – including a family pool with slides. Out of the water, there’s archery, volleyball and yoga to get stuck into.

In the middle of nowhere, but great
Very large resort, which takes a while to find your way around. The very best of sports facilities, with a choice every hour of the day. Did not spend a thing all the time we were there. Good room and bathroom with walk in shower. Has its own jetty and beach. Most of the outdoor pools are heated, a welcome change in the winter! Very good food, and all drinks on the All inc. journey from the airport and back is a bit hair raising! Did Nordic walking , spinning, dance classes. Evenin g. Entertainment good, with blankets to keep warm. Would go again.More
A short amazing holiday
We have been there for 3 nights, the hotel is amazing and the management take care of the details, for example we had a child, so once we received our room we found the baby cot ready in it only toilet seat for the bay, for me it was so touchy. The food quality and varieties is good. Also the animation team are doing their best to entertain the guested since there is no anywhere to go out near it. Overall the location and the lagoon is amazing but they should consider the price for their activities and the bazaars especially for Egyptians.More
Excellent all inclusive holiday resort
We spent a week at the Hotel, and our first impression was stunning, the entire site was very well kept, the garden grounds amazing. The rooms were a little bit dark, just needed better lighting, but the housekeepers do a great job especailly restocking the fridge every day. We didn't use all the swimming pools as we spent most of the time at the beach, from swimming in the lagoon ( go to the centre of the lagoon and you will see a lot of Lion fish) to snorkelling off the jetty. The reef life was out of this world. Food was very good in the main dinning hall, but I would recommend taking advantage of the 4 a la carte restaurants as the main hall food does get a bit samey after a few visits. ( the taj mahal was our favourite). The alcohol was a bit to be desired, not quite as mind altering as we are used to, apart from the wine in the a la carte restaurants that had a bit of a kick to it. The only downside side is the distance from the airport, this hotel is in the middle of nowhere, about 90 mins in a mini bus, an interesting journey when you arrive in the dark......More
2nd Visit and Will return Again
We have just returned from our second visit to the Club Magic Life Kalawy, yet again we couldn't fault the hotel. The rooms are clean, food great and staff really friendly. It was nice to be remembered from our first visit, in fact we were treated like 'old friends'. The dive school also provided an outstanding service. This hotel although not actually in Safaga, (it's on its own about 20 mins away), is well worth a visit. It is our intention to return later this year.More
We stayed there for 3 Nights from 28th to 1st of May. The property is huge, offering almost everything you can think of during a vacation, but what i admired the most was the sports, with football, volleyball, tennis courses, and did I mention Archery ! Multiple pools where you can enjoy the sun or play water polo or volley ball. Beach was mesmerizing with the breath-taking lagoon with many water activities available free of charge which was a delight! the Reef house by the marina is also a great place to snorkel. Staff and service is top notch! animation team is working hard to keep you engaged all day long. Food was very good. Rooms are clean , ACs are good, free wifi available as well. The downsides : -Rooms were a bit dim, ever with all the lights on which made it quite challenging sometimes -The Dive center was a bit pricey, for a local Egyptian to pay 28 Euros + Gear rental per dive is ridiculously overpriced, and you have to do an intro dive -with full charge- before you actually do the dive you wanted! "I am a PADI AOWD and still they wanted me to do that intro reef house dive check" Other than that everything was as you'd expect it to be, would definitely be coming again, specially if they review their diving pricing ;)More
