The pools take most of the applause here – there are 17 altogether, plus a duo of bonus waterparks.
Formerly known as the Iberotel Aquamarine, this hotel is huge. It comes with a beach – a private number decked out with thatched-roof daybeds – and a jaw-dropping 17 pools.
The pools come in all shapes and sizes, 1 just for adults, others geared towards kids – plus there are 2 waterparks. Food-wise, the numbers stack up, too, with a couple of buffet restaurants and 4 à la cartes.

We were pleasantly surprised with the whole holiday. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are friendly, the food was excellent and the weather was amazing. I feel like the experience was improved because the hotel was far from full which meant there was no need to get up early to reserve sun loungers, meal times were busy but not hectic and the pools had plenty of space for play and swimming.More

This hotel has received some very good reviews and I can totally understand it, but as a Family we have been to many all inclusive resorts and this one is not a stand out one. It is absolutely fine for a holiday but don't go with high expectations of it being outstanding. The resort is HUGE and I believe it has 18 pools and 3 sets of slides, which kept our Son very happy for the whole of the holiday. Please do not go there expecting to dive in to the Red Sea as it is not there. The Sea is approx 1/2 a mile out and when it comes in it is only about 6 inches deep, so an organised trip would really be required. On that note you will be pestered silly by people selling trips, massages, and various other activities whilst lying by the pool. They seem to target people who have only just arrived, ie skin without a tan, so please expect it. We spent most our time at the pool by the Sea, which is easier for the slides and there is somewhere to have lunch without having to walk right up to the main restaurants. The place to eat by the Sea is called Paradisio and serves 6 or 7 basic lunch dishes and is easy and perfect for a small bite. Plenty of staff, special mention to tall Ahmed and small Ahmed as they kept us supplied with beer and crisps when required, but tipped quite well for doing it. The waiting staff will ask you to change up pound coins for sterling notes, this is not a scam. All they want is notes that they can then change themselves. Take about 50 pound coins with you for a 2 week holiday and that should see you through for tips, as these guys work very long hours for not a lot of pay and will happily accept sterling pound coins as tips ( in fact they prefer this than Egyptian pounds). The main restaurants are as as expected massively busy during meal times and if you have not been to an all inclusive resort before you will be surprised as it feels like London's Victoria Station during rush hour! The food is ok but again nothing outstanding just normal AI fare. We had a Family room, which is basically 2 rooms with a corridor between them and a bathroom. Absolutely fine and functional with good AC and was cleaned to a reasonable standard every day. Would we return? The answer is no, but it is not because we had a bad holiday it is just that we are always looking for something else and this resort hasn't got that wow factor that we are looking for. We will carry on the search though ððð. If you are going to this resort I am sure that you will enjoy it. More

If you're planning on really treating yourself don't skip this resort. It has it all for you, Excellent hospitality, lavishly spoiling, fantastic multinational cuisine, green space wherever eyes turn, state of art landscape, countless pools and water rides, and on top of that unmatched staff. It basically has all aspects of enjoyment and relaxation for every age from a toddler to a granny. We enjoyed our stay tremendously.More
