When it comes to pools, this place, which used to be called the Iberotel Aquamarine, really goes all out. It’s got a whopping 17 of them, plus 3 aqua parks that tick off slides and chutes. And if that’s not got you sold, it throws in a private sandy beach for good measure, complete with thatched-roof daybeds. On the food front, there are 2 big buffet restaurants, plus 4 à la cartes dishing up Italian, Asian, Lebanese and seafood dishes. And as for the rooms, they’re big and modern, and all come with a balcony or terrace.

why russian only have to pay money for reception for good room :(
Well, we visited the Aquamarine. Arrived , rested for 7 days. Go there again in this hotel NO! In Egypt, for the 7th time, so there is nothing to compare. In order: Tour bought from Biblio Globus, 2 adults and 1 adult + child 3 years. Took two rooms. Transaero flight, everything is fine, however when flying there shaking terribly during takeoff and fell into the pit, people began to wail. Tin. Standard procedure at Hurghada airport, visas, control and here we go to the hotel. Departure was evening, so got to the hotel around 11 o'clock in the evening. reception and quite quickly identified all rooms. As it turned out almost all Russian are placed in the most distant body from the reception gave us room , overlooking the neighboring hotels, the garden is called. On the left side of an abandoned hotel Remover, on the right side of the hotel Titanic. For an additional fee, you can change the numbers that we did. True, Ramz from the reception told us two rooms side by side on the second floor, overlooking the pool and the sea 150 euros, my facial expression that kind of money I would not pay, then he spoke with the manager his name written Ahmed and he called him kaseem asked us to pay just 100 dollars for the 2 rooms . : Natural, all clean and very nice, all the grass, flowers, palmochki. Well, very much, I would say gaunt, the heat is very tiring to walk to the reception or in the restaurant, had dinner at the cafe on the beach. Because again lived in the farthest body. Rooms: The rooms are not very big, but quite neat and cozy. The room has a kettle and tea set. Refrigerator with mini bar - PAID! Everything in the fridge all paid, including water. Water: bottled water in the hotel is a global problem. On arrival given one liter bottle for free. The rest of the bottled water paid. Learned from gostreleyshen about buying water, 1 bottle polutorolitrovaya worth 1.5 euros, about 65 rubles (not enough for a simple vodichki I believe). We drove in and bought water SenzoMoll packages there, the price of 1.5 l bottles. Approximately 2.5 pounds (10 rubles). But, of course, it's not very convenient to be on vacation water carriers in most hotels free water long ago, and not a limited number of bottles. And so "drinking" water in the hotel in coolers that are on heat and through which thousands of tourists in sanitation coolers doubt. Child to drink from the coolers did not give themselves trying not to drink the water. But one day, too lazy to go to the room and tried this still some water, the result did not wait. By the evening started endless vomiting, diarrhea and associated symptoms, a temperature of 39, lay formation, well that was a bunch of drugs, including antibiotics, but it does not really all that helped me. Lain night. As a result, contacted friend who lives in Hurghada, she said, what pills to buy, after they got better. By the way acquainted with several Russian families have found that it affected not only me. Sin on what poisoned than what other can not, because ate with the same plate with the child, did not use alcohol. So if you go to aquamarine, drink only water from bottles. Food: food is very even. You can always find something that suits you. You can also feed the baby. Fruits apples, oranges, bananas, watermelons, melons, peaches, dried fruits have. The restaurant no teaspoons sticks in coffee machines. A teaspoons sometimes for dinner, wonder .... But this restaurant. Service: Service is zero. Speak Russian very bad, really! Do not understand this, or pretend they do not understand. It so happened that in Hurghada had problems with the light, it was not simple. The hotel has certainly generators or whatever they are called, but they can not provide hotel light. Shorter air conditioning did not work in the room and burned one bulb that 20 Tue, toilet and shower in the pitch darkness. Bathed in darkness, one washes the other holds a lantern included in the phone, respectively baby wash as well. The restaurant is the same as stuffiness, wash the dishes, they were problematic, began to put the paper cups that say service. It lasted two days or more. Hardworking waiters, run, clean everything quickly, smiling. Bartenders impudent. Try to pour the juice from the apparatus, although there are packaged. Ask for no ice, so no, they cram a full glass of ice. Bar in the lobby 24 hours, yes, but in 23 hours already starting to wind down, do everything tyap gaffe. Just to be behind them, knead after eleven horrible, not cocktails. Hotel Guide Biblio Globus Samir normal, tells all and tells. Honestly said about food in the a la carte (one says anything, just pay the money), the tour does not enforce or makes buyers and somewhere to go. Alcohol: I can not specifically say anything, sometimes took cocktails, like anything, the husband took the beer did not say much. Pools: The pools are so many (17), the water is warmed. We are located near the sea pool. Large, sloping entrance, which is very comfortable with a small child. Near a children's pool with small gorochkami and adult pool with big slides. Sunbeds enough, though the first week my husband got up at 5:30 am to take place under umbrellas as at 6 am it was already all booked up. And then the people on the left, the hotel profits is not completely filled and the seats were. Animation runs only on the central basin, it is not really what that active somewhere something. On all other pools are not even playing music. Just silence. Evening animation for children and adults 30 minutes an hour in the theater "Fantasia", where there is no air conditioning and duhotischa even animators themselves suffer from it. On the terrace near the restaurant sometimes live music playing somewhere until ten at night. There is a disco, but it has no single person. At 22:30 - 23:00 Hotel practically extinct and silence. In short a very, very boring. Young people do not even here then. Already on that we are not fans of outdoor activities, but even we are tired of this boredom. The first hotel of which wanted to go home. Sea: if you eat beyond the sea, that you just do not here. No sea! It do not exist. Constant flow. And if it is, then poschikolotku and toi all sand. Stay for our time once the knees, but not even walk very nicely, because near the shore which the packets, plastic cups, trash, etc. With moreb trouble. Panton also asked to reach depth. Like everything, if anyone any questions, please contact us, all answer. Maybe something and forgotten! More it will not go!!More

Lovely Friendly hotel
We have just returned from a week here. First of all we felt very safe no need to worry about the trouble in Egypt. Hotel was spotlessly clean and tidy. We stayed first week of Easter holidays and it was not too busy. Plenty of sunbeds available.Staff all so friendly and helpful. We stayed with my niece who is in a wheelchair and they were helpful. Access was good except for the italian alacarte where we had to sit outside as they had no ramp. But that was fine. You do need cardigans if you want to sit outside in the evening as it can get quite windy. The only thing to put us off returning was the food. We've stayed at quite a few AI hotels but food was very dull and the same things compared to others. Dried up chicken, rice ,beef dish that all taste the same. wouldn't want to eat there for more than a week. Was ok some days. We followed a tip that someone shared on here, When you arrive at the airport and they tell you all Thomson, First choice etc to go straight ahead to get your visa Ignore them and go to one of the bank booths on the left. No queues here and cheaper visa. £11 each here. Big queues if you go straight ahead and more expensive! Rooms are lovely and spacious but swim up rooms a waste of time apart from bigger room as the swim up pool is so small and shallow. My 10y old couldnt jump in as it was too shallow. Lovely and warm though good for small children. We only used it the first day,But people with young children used it more. Kids enjoyed the slides and camel ride on the beach which was 10euro. The beach is not very nice you wouldn't want to sit there . more like dirt and stones. But plenty of lovely pools to sit around and some heated so lovely and warm. We had a lovely week in this lovely hotel and if food was better we would def return.More
"Amazing stay at the Jaz Aquamarine"
We stayed at this resort from the 28th March for 2 weeks and were blown over by the level of service and genuine commitment from all the staff in this hotel. One of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in and was thoroughly cleaned and fresh towels and bed linen each day (by Kamel). More than adequate choice of food in the main restaurant, with the added bonus of four themed a la carte restaurants to suit everyones tastes. The multiple choice of 18 swimming pools provided something for everybody....from kids areas with slides ..... lively music and exercise with the animation team....to the tranquility of very quiet relaxed pool areas with regular drinks being served by a very attentive waiter named Solomon. Nothing seemed too much trouble for any of the staff here and we were constantly asked by various Managers if everything was to our satisfaction and if there was anything more we required. A truly overall enjoyable stay which we would thoroughly recommend and will return to in the near future. Our thanks also to Holly for her continued effort and enthusiasm to make our stay here a pleasant and memorable one.....More

Lovely resort with wonderful staff
Stayed here for a week at the beginning of February, and very much enjoyed our time at the Jaz Aquamarine. Since it was off-season we got an incredible deal for an all-inclusive package (with First Choice), and were lucky to still enjoy some nice weather! First impressions were great, as the lobby is stunning; plus, the registration/ check-in was one of the most efficient and well organised I've ever seen. We were very quickly shown to our room, which faced the area with the quiet pools... just a few minutes walk to the lobby, and close to the main restaurants. The room was spacious and clean, with nice decor, decent furniture, and loads of storage. The bathroom was large, with a separate toilet and walk-in shower, but no bath. There were some toiletries provided, but they were sporadically replenished during the stay. Lovely balcony with quality metal chairs and sunshine streaming in each morning. The resort itself is large, modern, and beautifully maintained; everywhere you look there always seemed to be staff cleaning, painting, and gardening. There are loads of places to sit outside, and plenty of sunbeds.. but having said that, the resort was probably at half-capacity when we were there, so perhaps it's more of a challenge to get the best places when it's full. Nice to have different sorts of areas to enjoy the sun; the activity pool (which we avoided), the quiet pools (of which a couple were heated to a lovely temperature), grassy areas, and the beach. On that note, the beach isn't great - coarse sand, and a very long shallow shore - but apparently this is how most of them are in the area. The wifi connection is strong in all of the main areas of the resort, including the beach, with a decent connection speed. There was a rather weak signal in the room, but this was still a "bonus" as I had thought it was only available in the lobby, and I brought my work with me. There always seem to be complaints about all-inclusive buffet restaurants, but I found the food to be of a good quality, with a great variety. There were a lot of Egyptian visitors staying the first few days and the main 'Topaz' restaurant was very busy and boisterous... therefore, the hotel opened the 'Four Corners' as an alternative buffet, and we enjoyed the atmosphere much better. Breakfast is busy, but it's worth the short wait for the omelets or eggs cooked to order... the man cooking them was amazing, with four pans always on the go while he was still taking orders from further down the queue! Don't expect to always be served coffee in the mornings, but we never had trouble getting our wine in the evenings! We visited two of the a la carte restaurants; the seafood and the Lebanese... both were very nice, with great service. During the day we usually ate at the beach bar, which had lovely staff and nice 'snack' food (sandwiches, burgers, pizza, salads, etc) which is freshly prepared. In the evening I can certainly recommend the 'Waves' bar; a great selection of cocktails, and a couple of the guys that work there gave us absolutely amazing service. In fact, the service is what makes this resort so special. Everyone we encountered was very friendly and always seemed willing to do anything to please. During a typical day we would be asked several times if there was anything we needed, or confirming we were enjoying ourselves. The man that cleaned our room was wonderful, and we were impressed by the amazing towel creations he left us each day. If we saw him in the hallway he always asked if there was anything he could help us with, and seemed genuinely eager to please and to know what we thought of his unique 'artwork'! Although he doesn't work for the resort, we were also very pleased with the Thomson/ First Choice representative, Mahmood. He was a real character, and certainly helped to make our trip enjoyable and memorable. The hotel also has staff from the UK that work with the reps to ensure guests' needs are met and their stays run smoothly. Overall very impressed, and this is one of the few all-inclusive resorts that I would be eager to return to!More
