Jaz Aquamarine

The pools take most of the applause here – there are 18 altogether, plus a quartet of bonus waterparks.

Formerly known as the Iberotel Aquamarine, this hotel is huge. It comes with a beach – a private number decked out with thatched-roof daybeds – and a jaw-dropping 18 pools.

The pools come in all shapes and sizes, 1 just for adults, others geared towards kids – plus there are 3 waterparks. Food-wise, the numbers stack up, too, with a couple of buffet restaurants and 4 à la cartes.

Looking forward to Christmas & new year at the Jaz Aquamarine

I am going back for the third time this year, as a single man this time from 23 dec to 13 jan and looking forward to meeting many new friends and seeing many of the great staff we had the pleasure of meeting previously, especially Ali in the Blue Marine bar and pool bar.... If you are single and want to meet up.... Message me on here or 07885-068927More

Nothing special not 5 star

Poor food quality despite lot of choice. Beach dirty and litter in abundance at low tide. Pushy sales people. Nothing near by apart from the mall which was ok. Staff ok but reception staff bit surly and would prefer to interrupt the conversation with you to answer phones and keep you waiting while dealing with that guest. This gives a poor impression. Clean room and gardens well established but that was the highlight . Sorry no where near as good as we expected .More

Stellareg,

Towel Art & Top Notch Service

Every December we take a short break to help prepare our sanity before the madness of Christmas starts. The Jaz Aquamarine however, was by far the best hotel we've stayed in (previous ones were in Lanzarote and Tenerife). Service was welcoming and staff genuinely seemed to want to help. There are pools at every turn, including 3 awesome waterslide pools, with activities to suit all types of people. Our days started with an early breakfast (imagine a buffet as far as the eye can see with omelette stations, bowls of Nutella, cereals, fruit, even potatoes!) followed by Body Balance near the beach and then some sitting by the pool. We'd then maybe have a massage (the salt scrub is the best one to start with) followed by a lazy lunch and then maybe pop back to our room to drop things off and have a quick chat with Arafa, our house-keeper, who was instrumental in teaching us Arabic (if you'd given us a month there, we'd have been fluent!) and also delighted us with a new towel art creation each afternoon. This was probably the best thing on our holiday, we kid you not. After a bit more pool time, we'd then get ready for dinner at either the Buffer or one of four of the A La Carte restaurants (choose from Italian, Seafood, Chinese or Lebanese - we recommend the Lebanese and Chinese) before heading back to our room, bellies full, for an early night. In fact, we only left the hotel once and that was for a Thomson trip snorkelling. For anyone looking for a relaxing holiday then the Jaz Aquamarine is the place to spend it. Even though there were kids and babies around, there's so many pools you can always find a quiet spot.More

Essam H,

Immaculate Hotel and Great Service

This was our first trip to Egypt. We decided to go due to the time of year and the weather. The hotel was fantastic and every single member of staff was fantastic. The food was for me average as I thought there was a lack of choice for the English BUT I can imagine it being quite difficult to cater for everybody. We have stayed in many hotels around the world and I must say the staff were the friendliest we have ever come across. More
