The pools take most of the applause here – there are 18 altogether, plus a quartet of bonus waterparks.
Formerly known as the Iberotel Aquamarine, this hotel is huge. It comes with a beach – a private number decked out with thatched-roof daybeds – and a jaw-dropping 18 pools.
The pools come in all shapes and sizes, 1 just for adults, others geared towards kids – plus there are 3 waterparks. Food-wise, the numbers stack up, too, with a couple of buffet restaurants and 4 à la cartes.

Brilliant Family Hotel
Stayed for a week in May 2015. We had a superior twin room with sea view. Room 2229. Great big water slide obstructed the sea view somewhat. Our room was kept spotlessly clean throughout our stay, no complaints at all with that. The entire hotel is spotless. Plenty of sun loungers available around the pools and on the beach. The main food halls served up a reasonable selection daily. The other themed restaurants were very disappointing as they had pre set menu with other options at an extra charge! It's the first time I've encountered this. The evening entertainment wasn't the best. The staff were friendly and tried hard. This hotel is more suitable to families.More

It is 5 star
This was my wife and I first time to Egypt and I can say we will go back. The airport isnt that bad they are very keen on passport control which is what I think makes it longer. Its brand new though so probably just teething problems. This resort made the holiday so special. Everything is spot on with it. The rooms and grounds are very clean,we didnt ever get pestered for a tip although I do think it goes a long way with them, the food is great buffet is buffet as normal just busy which is expected. The a la carte restaurants are all great especially the Chinese. We have a two year old son and the staff were so attentive with him and friendly they really couldn't do enough. We looked for shaded areas around the hotel in the day and there is NO SHORTAGE of this. There's canopies and parasols everywhere. Some days we didnt go down to the pool side til half 10, after breakfast and always found beds and space. We opted to go around the kids pools which are very very shallow with loads of shade so they can play and a great community atmosphere from all parents around here. We booked a sea scope excursion from one of the hotel vendors. They pick you up and go down to Hurghada marina to board, its about half hour drive but lets you see down town. Looking at hotels on our way down we noticed that ours was easily one of the best presented and made us feel like we'd made a good choice. There's lots of unfinished building work from investors trying to make a "quick buck" we were told ,its been like this for years apparently. The trip was good saw lots of fish from underneath the boat and dived in and had a snorkel around for about an hour which is a must if you like that kinda thing. All in all the holiday was excellent and it is 5 star. We got married in a sensatori resort in Mexico last year which was a 5 star and this was a close second. The only thing id knock it on was a bit to much selling from vendors around the pools. But its restricted around the kids pool and the bit were the loungers are in the pool to a couple of hours a day so go there if it bothers you. And if you need a pram try to get a ground or 1st floor room as theres less stairs and no lifts. Thanks Jaz Aquamarine. More

Loads of fun with good friends in a great spot. Loved the pools slides and choice of food and drink. Great room and no problem getting sun beds without having to surface at silly times. Staff really good and was handy to pay to keep a room on later in the day as we had a late flight. Reception. Waiting and cleaning staff all very good. Thanks for fun week!More
