A beachside setting and plenty of restaurants get this hotel off to a good start.
There’s a tranquil feel to this hotel, what with the stream and bridges in the palm-filled gardens. Icmeler’s bars and restaurants are less than 5 minutes’ walk away, and the beach is just outside the back door.
You’ve got a great restaurant choice here, including Turkish and seafood à la carte places. And still on the food front, there are some great touches – like the cooling slices of melon handed out by the pool.

Stayed here for the 1st time from 16th June to 30th June. The hotel was excellent, spotlessly clean, rooms cleaned, towels changed etc every day. Getting a sunbed at the pool or the beach was never a problem. The food slightly let it down, and I am not a fussy eater, although the pool bar served up some good burgers, pizzas etc. The thing that made the holiday for me was the animation team, they were all excellent, with special mention to Ibrahim, Hasan, Spike, & Elif. The restaurant staff again were excellent, with special mention to Soner & Taner. The entertainment was also good, with some very good acts. The location of the hotel was good, with great views across the bay. All in all, I had a great time, and would definitely recommend, and would consider returning.More

Fantastic hotel, and there's the dilemma...
This was our third time in Icmeler (Marti La Perla and Golmar Beach previously). Myself, my wife and my daughter shared a twin room with an additional bed for 7 nights - wish we'd done more! I canât praise it highly enough and would recommend it to anyone, but we probably wonât return! OK, I'll start with the bad points. The room was a bit small (220) and the third bed didn't help but it was OK. The girls complained about the dim lighting which made it difficult to put the make-up on. Didn't bother me. There's only a shower - no bath which the wife prefers, but it was no real hardship. The view was nothing to write home about, just a big tree and the rooms opposite, but I don't think many have excellent views. The wi-fi was a bit iffy when you moved away from the main hotel block. That's about it really. The hotel, staff, surroundings and facilities are fantastic. It's impossible to name individuals, they were all good, even the cleaners who are usually a bit withdrawn. The food was good too, in both quantity and quality. There were some nice touches, like the iced towels (cold flannels brought round on a trolley by the pool), the drinks trolley brought to the beach, the ice cream and waffle bar, etc. The wellness centre with gym, sauna, massage, and indoor pool was fantastic. My wife had a series of massages and she and my daughter had a Turkish bath which they thoroughly enjoyed. There are plenty of beds around the pool. You may struggle if you turn up at eleven but if you do, there are always plenty on the beach too. The pool is fab - not too warm, not too cold, and it will get warmer. The hotel location is perfect with the beach at the back and the town centre just outside the front doors. From the moment you arrive to a welcome cocktail, to the moment you leave, the staff are friendly and helpful. On our second night there, my daughter developed serious toothache. With the help of the reception staff, she was taken by taxi at 9:30pm on a Friday evening to Marmaris where the dentist opened up the shop and treated her (the dental facilities are second to none). You couldnât get that kind of service at home! So why wouldnât we return? For its small size, Icmeler is blessed with an abundance of excellent quality restaurants which are too good to miss. Although the food in the Aqua was good, we ate out for two nights (Champagne Steak House and Taj Mahal Indian) and had great food for a fraction of the UK price. So weâve taken a decision not to go all inclusive in the future, which effectively rules out the Aqua as an option and thatâs a shame. As an aside, Turkey is really struggling at the moment. The visitor numbers have fallen significantly this year â down by up to 40% on last year â and some businesses are really under pressure. This is because ignorant people in the UK believe the sensationalist rubbish that is spouted in the gutter press and without knowing anything about the country and its geography. Yes, it has a border with Syria, but it is 800 miles away from the resorts. Turkey has one of the biggest and best equipped armies in Europe and a generation who have all done national service. It is probably one of the safest countries to visit. Do you really think for one second that they would allow Isis to take away their livelihoods? I think not. So go, relax, and have a great time.More

Our June Stay in The Hotel Aqua
You may travel the world but you would stuggle to beat this Exellent hotel. The cuisine, the cleanliness, the well trained staff, the location and gardens were all excellent, given the chance I would go back tomorrow. If i am really critical, my only gripe would be, i know the staff were really friendly and trained to be, but there's a difference between friendliness and over femiliarity, it was only one person and sadly i didn't get his name ( it was on the last day of our holiday) who called me darling and my husband boss, we didn't like this and it didn't go with the five star ambiance of this wonderful hotel.More

We have stayed here many times but The Aqua still get better each visit. Great service, spotless clean, near the beach, everything you could want in a hotel. Not really for children though as the guests are mostly of the older generation. Well done The Aqua, we will be back soon.More
