A beachside setting and plenty of restaurants get this hotel off to a good start.
There’s a tranquil feel to this hotel, with gardens that are filled with palm trees. Icmeler’s bars and restaurants are less than 5 minutes’ walk away, and the beach is just outside the back door.
You’ve got a great restaurant choice here, including Turkish, Italian and seafood à la carte places. And still on the food front, there are some great touches – like the cooling slices of melon handed out by the pool.

The hotel is so nice,. The location of the hotel is fascinating especially with a room with a view to the sea. The staff is so polite and kind. The food is great but there almost no sea food. The variety of food menu is not the best there is always two or three main foods and repeating them daily. I think the food menu should be more rich with different kind of meals especially the dinner. At last the hotel is not to big but it's very nice for families, the location, the service and the food was great especially the breakfast. More
An amazing hotel!
We stayed here for a 10 night all inclusive stay at the beginning of September 2017 on an All Inclusive basis, booking through Jet2Holidays. Upon arrival at around 2am in the morning the grandeur of the lobby was welcome to see. Reception were very friendly and checked us in quickly, explaining the all inclusive concept. They explained that they had prepared a lovely plate of cold mezze to eat in the restaurant in case we were hungry (we were!) ROOMS Unfortunately when entering the room we were given a double room as opposed to a twin - we couldn't actually specify on the booking however assumed they would realise it needs to be a twin due to the age difference in our party. However reception were very quick to sort this out first thing in the morning and moved us to a new room. The rooms are very well appointed with excellent comfy beds with proper duvets. The showers are also great with a powerful rain fall style shower in a spacious cubicle. There is a minibar in the room restocked daily with beer, water, soft drinks and chocolate bars. FOOD AND DRINK The hotel is fully all inclusive when it comes to food and drink, you will never go thirsty or hungry here. The buffet restaurant served a good variety of meals, the vast majority to our taste. The BBQ is also available every dinner where you can get lovely barbecued meats like lamb shish, chicken shish etc. The buffet is open from 1900 to 2130 and we tend to eat late, however some of the food did start to run out from around 20.30. You also have to find your own table which is easier said than done when the restaurant is busy, a suggestion for improvement would be to have a waiter on the entrance to show you to a suitable table. You get one a la carte meal per stay - we choose the Ottoman Restaurant. The dishes were predominantly lamb and were delicious, with very attentive service. The staff were certainly very generous and kept topping up drinks etc. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Aside from the restaurants you could also get waffles and ice cream, snack type food and patisserie for the majority of the day. There is also a gozleme corner, where you can get fresh Turkish gozleme made fresh in front of you by a lovely lady - would 100% recommend trying this at least once during your stay. POOL AREA The outdoor swimming pool is a reasonable size and is one of the cleanest I've ever seen - absolutely gleaming. It's no deeper than 1 meter 40 which is good for leisure swimming and leisure floating!! The pool is surrounded by sun beds which are extremely comfortable with mattresses on each one. You could always get a bed however due to the design of the hotel there are only around 30% which stay in the sun for the whole day and these can go quickly. Music is played around the pool most of the time but is at a reasonable level. BEACH The hotel has a private beach - there are always sunbeds available. It is no more than 1 minutes walk from the beach to the main hotel building. The sunbeds are very comfortable with mattresses, similar to the ones in the pool area. The beach is slightly stony but less so to the right hand side facing the sea, so go on this side if you have sensitive feet. The beach is kept tidy and clean by the lifeguard who is there daily. ENTERTAINMENT & ANIMATION The animation team work most days and run a variety of activities. They are very approachable and will try to get you to join in, however will take no for an answer and I wouldn't describe it as hassle. Hope, Sam and the Russian lady were particularly friendly and ease to engage in conversation. We took part in some of the activities and enjoyed these. Some of the activities in the first week we stayed weren't quite in line with the demographics of the guests - for example skipping on a surf board in the pool, which is my mind is more aimed at children than the generally 30 years + adults which made up the bulk of the guests at the hotel. EVENING ENTERTAINMENT There is nightly evening entertainment outside by the stage - this is amongst the best I have seen at any hotel. The Drifters Tribute Band were particularly excellent, playing for 2 hours + non stop with excellent renditions of the Motown classics and some more modern stuff too. The Turkish night and the fire show were also particularly good. OTHER SERVICES The hotel has a Spa, Turkish Bath, Hairdresser amongst other services. The man from the Turkish bath would often go around the pool trying to get business, however wasn't too pushy. The hairdresser was the same, however slightly more pushy. One of our party did go for a hair cut (which was very good) but reported a lot of 'hard sell' once in the salon for other services (pedicure, manicure, nails, hair colouring etc.) which is a bit of a shame as it was found to be a little intimidating. The spa facilities (steam room, sauna, ice room, indoor pool) are free to use and are lovely - would recommend trying these at least once. Free WIFI is available throughout the hotel (including beach) and is very strong. OVERALL Overall the hotel is one of the best I've stayed in and is genuinely all inclusive. This is the first time I have rated a property five circles (despite the small suggested improvements I've put in this review). We came away from this holiday feeling thoroughly relaxed and pampered and wouldn't hesitate to return to this hotel/resort.More
Excellent Hotel, Staff and Location.
Our family consisting of parents in their 80's, myself mid 50's and daughter and partner in their 20's returned once again for about the tenth year. The staff at the Hotel via feedback appear to strive to improve the Hotel each year and succeed in doing so. Sule in Guest relations is always willing to help and our regular waiters V and Elvis were always attentive and quick to assist with drinks when required. A mention also to George and the effort he puts in to keep the pool area clean and assist guests. I even saw him in the pool helping a disabled guest to enjoy floating on an inflatable. Well done George. The rooms are clean and modern with new televisions from last year featuring far more channels and even English speaking film channels albeit with Arabic or Turkish subtitles. The safe in the room is free and easy to use. Robes and slippers provided in the room and a lovely walk in shower. The fridge is re-stocked daily with local drinks and some snacks free of charge. Credit also to the maids who service the room keeping them very clean. The food choice is excellent with a barbecue which regularly provided fish, chicken shish and turkey. A large salad bar and dessert counter, ice cream also available. Various soups were always available as a starter and then a choice of meats including beef, lamb and chicken with the occasional Chinese option which included duck and even sushi. Breakfast included various cereals, yoghurts, cold meats and cheeses, croissants, omelettes, fried eggs sausages, mushrooms beans potatoes and even HP sauce ! Toast marmalade and numerous jams. Various fruit was also available. I have noticed some negative comments regarding food choices but all the items mentioned above were available during my visit although I must admit I didn't visit the fruit or salad bars ! I do wonder what some people expect for the money they pay for their holiday and it's great credit to the Aqua as to how they can afford to provide the variety and quality of food they do at the price they charge. During the day there is the Patisserie for gateaux, the Waffle bar, the snack bar for burgers etc and various bars for drinks. One visit to one of the three A La Carte restaurants ( Turkish, Italian or Fish ) is available free of charge during your stay and is good is you feel you want a change. Booking in advance is necessary. My parents like to sit in the shade watching the world go by and likewise I like to relax around the pool, I hate being pestered and asked to join in activities. I do however accept that I will be asked to join in but was not pestered at all by the Animation team and am surprised by a previous review that they were pestered. The Animation team do a great job even though I didn't join in any of their activities. The evening entertainment was of a good standard again with a variety of different genres of performer to try and cater to all tastes. I would recommend trying the Spa where the sauna, ice rom and steam room are all free as is the jacuzzi and indoor pool. Massage treatments are to a very good standard but you will have to pay for these. I would recommend the Sultan Life or Harem package as a treat to start the holiday. This includes a Turkish bath with exfoliation, soap massage and oil massage. The beach is kept clean and tidy with thanks to the older man who regularly spent time collecting glasses etc from the tables and sun beds he did work very hard bless him. Each year we arrive we find that there is an improvement and this continued drive for improvement is central to guests returning year after year. Thank you to all the staff and we look forward to seeing you again next year. The Morse family.More

My fiance and I have just returned from a weeks stay in this great hotel. I cannot rate this hotel enough, and if you'd like to stay in Icmeler then this is the place to stay! Lets start at the beginning. You arrive through the town to the hotel which is right on it's on private section of the beach. This means that should you fancy a wander into Icmeler town it's a very short stroll to it's bars/shops and also taxi ranks and bus stops to nearby Marmaris. Alternatively you can catch a taxi boat there instead, (which takes a bit longer but is great for sight seeing). The foyer is very big and well laid out, immaculate, and well staffed. Carry on through past the two central glass lifts and down some stairs, (or a slope if you're in a wheelchair), is the bar and lots of places to sit both inside and out. Going outside and to the left is the main dinner hall which supplied a great selection of local foods, and of course for the differing nationalities that come to the hotel. Further along there is a good sized pool, (not too deep, under 2 meters), with plenty of sunbeds for all the guests. As you continue to head towards the sea there are two bars, and a waffle bar to keep you topped up whilst on your stay, and the animation stage. There is also the towel station tucked downstairs near the spa/massage area, and an evening bbq grill bar, (epic!). The hotel itself is shaped like a U, with the prongs facing the sea. Each prong has rooms on both sides and have four floors in total. At the end of each prong is another glass lift giving fantastic views over the bay and all the way to Marmaris. We stayed in room 413 which was away form the stage/bar areas so when an early night was required sleeping was not a problem. Having said that, the entertainment was some of the best I've seen on a holiday so we were there most nights! The rooms are more than adequate offering plenty of storage space for our belongings, air con, free minibar restocked daily, (can I also recommend the chocolate bars they put in there!!), a tv should you want to watch it, and ours had a balcony with a sea view. The only criticism, (and this is tiny), is the bathroom would benefit from a sliding door rather than a conventionally opening one to allow more room to manoeuvre). What the brochure and to a degree this review so far doesn't tell you is what makes this place and that is the staff, (both front of house and the people behind the scenes that make the holiday what it was). Truly nothing is too much trouble, with everyone that we spoke to going out of their way to try and make our stay the best it could be. Gina celebrated her birthday whilst we were there. Without my intervention they gave her a birthday card, a bottle of wine was delivered to our room, and we had special seats for the evening meal, (hers was a throne!). Later that evening the Animation Team even arranged/insisted/voluntold us to have a dance in front of all of the guests, (not my finest hour, however I was immeasurably grateful for the dutch courage that was free flowing!). Ah yes, the animation team...! They are a bunch that were always bubbly and eager to chat, and try and get me doing vollyball and aqua aerobics, thanks Kseniya! :o) Whilst handing out praise directly I must mention the fantastic barman Seyfi who remembered our names from our first meeting and was a great help with his local knowledge of shops etc as well as his attentiveness with other guests and ourselves, (we took a "Seyfi Selfie" on our last day to remember him by). Both Gina and myself are in agreement that next years holiday will be here if we can get rooms in time as we enjoyed it so much, and to quote a tired old cliche, "we didn't want to leave". Very Well Done to all involved in our great stay, you have our utmost thanks.More

5 ladies returning for an annual holiday 28.8.17. Hotel and staff still fabulous. Lots more Turkish people there our first week as it was Byram. Was lovely to meet up with friends from previous years to me that in itself is a great reccommendation. Enjoyed a great Italian meal in the a la carte resturant. Will definitely be returning.More
