A beachside setting and plenty of restaurants get this hotel off to a good start.
There’s a tranquil feel to this hotel, what with the stream and bridges in the palm-filled gardens. Icmeler’s bars and restaurants are less than 5 minutes’ walk away, and the beach is just outside the back door.
You’ve got a great restaurant choice here, including Turkish and seafood à la carte places. And still on the food front, there are some great touches – like the cooling slices of melon handed out by the pool.

Stayed here with wife and ten year old daughter 2013 found hotel great, staff were really nice. The waiters in the restaurant could not do enough for you. Remember a tip really helps. The food and drink was very good. I used the gym daily although there wasn't many loose weights was very good for a hotel gym. Overall was impressed would return back! More

This was our first stay at Hotel Aqua and would not stay there again. There is a fundamental problem with this hotel which is too many guests for the amount of sunbeds that are in the sun. The best sunbeds are always reserved early in the morning. The beach is not pleasant, food left in the sand and access from people from outside the hotel reduces its appeal. A lot of people were complaining about the service at the bar. On the plus side we thought the food was good. Our room had a terrible view but was clean and comfortable with excellent air conditioning. We had a great meal at the fish restaurant and the service was excellent.More

Had looked forward to this holiday for 16 months and had paid a lot of money for it but I have to be honest it did not live up to its billing. When I booked it was 1 of 91 hotels in Icmeler I noticed today it is 4 of 91 I think this tells a story.First of all I have to say the hotel is spotless yes the staff at the Artium bar can be slow to clean the tables but all in all the hotel is immaculate, the staff were fabulous apart for the young lady that regularly worked at the patisserie "sour faced or what". The food was lovely but limited in choice both at the restaraunt and the snack bar. the all inclusive drink was ok but at both bars I noticed waiters handling the ice before puting in a drink. I feel all in all that this hotel is too small for all inclusive as the pool is tiny and its a fight for sunbeds but in fairness there is the private beach OOPS! sorry not private any more was when I booked was'nt when I got there. We prefer the beach and when you went there you could nearly always get a sunbed if you wanted to sit up the back as all the earlybirds had got the prime seats "so I thought" there is a sign saying any towels left for over an hour would be removed and to be fair they were by "Shareef" I believe his name was, my wife and I used to sit and wait for the fireworks to start when the hotel guests came down to find thier towels removed but it never seemed to happen then after a few days I twigged. Shareef was puting the hotel towels on the sunbeds and when paying customers came he lifted the towels because not all of them got a ticket, he had a little business going selling them drink and food so the hotel guests are basically second class citizens we paid £3,300 but thats not enough for the hotel it wants to squeeze more money out of the beach as they already have ours they don't need to treat us well.I was disappointed with this hotel after reading all the hype here on tripadvisor. P.S. I nearly forgot my air conditioning never worked for the first week.More

good hotel but
Just got back from a week at the aqua hotel. This was our second visit there. Everything was very good apart from the dress code foe evening meal had disappeared. It was very disappointing to see people in shorts and Flip Flops and one person had nothing on his feet at all. This didn't happen at all last year. Also we found the animation team was far too loud. Some of the shows were very good especially the Drifters. The ABBA tribute was terrible they could not sing at all. On good notes the staff were fantastic Asim (Buddy Holly) looked after us at meal times. The room was kept really clean, the air conditioning was fantastic. The food was very good.More

Third visit to the Aqua
Returned on Friday from our third stay in the Aqua. Another enjoyable holiday but like others there who had been before we had some reservations. Overall we felt that standards had dropped. The variety of meals ,although presentable, had dropped. The Atrium bar at times was a shambles with Staff more interested in chatting than serving and keeping the tables clean. Overall we got the impression that the hotel was understaffed contributing to quite a few complaints being made at the time. We had our request for the same room granted, but if being honest the room was far from spotless. We also had issues regarding keeping the room on , on day of departure. We were told one thing and when we conformed were told something else we ended up using a friends room for showers etc. We were disappointed and I must state I am sorry to be critical but on this occasion the hotel did not match it's five star ratingMore
