A beachside setting and plenty of restaurants get this hotel off to a good start.
There’s a tranquil feel to this hotel, what with the stream and bridges in the palm-filled gardens. Icmeler’s bars and restaurants are less than 5 minutes’ walk away, and the beach is just outside the back door.
You’ve got a great restaurant choice here, including Turkish and seafood à la carte places. And still on the food front, there are some great touches – like the cooling slices of melon handed out by the pool.

2nd time at The Aqua, loved it again!
We were greated at midnight with cold towels, cold drink and a warm friendly reception. Room was lovely, clean, good housekeeping, clean comfortable beds, good view to the side of the hotel, over town and side sea view, lovely! Love the shower, could do with that at home!. Hotel staff are amazing, waiters so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Soner is so lovely!! always found us a table and made sure we had all we needed at meal times... TanerJack, Ozcan, Omer,.... Ertan (amazing bar waiter)! (to name a few)!!! I think the staff make the hotel so fantastic!! the ones we met last year remembered us and made us so very welcome!!....Food amazing and so varied, cannot understand why some moan about it, they cater for everyone!! We don't go round the pool, as its not all that big and its a bit hectic with animation team asking you to partake in games etc...better round the pool for people with young families as Animation team will keep children entertained. Snack bar brilliant at lunch, Taner is such a friendly waiter lunchtime :) We like the beach, more to watch there, lovely sea to cool off in!!...all kept so clean and tidy, don't know how the 'beachman' does it!! first thing and last thing it's soooo clean and tidy ...safe beach, good water sports, comfy sunbeds... plenty of shops in walking distance, lovely to walk round Icmeler in the evenings, even though you are too full to eat or drink out! :). Love hearing the locals being called to prayer certain times of the day. We just love it here, soooo sad when we had to leave, two weeks is just not long enough!!.we will be back again!! Thank you Aqua Hotel :)More

Visit to Aqua 11-25 August 2014
Just returned from Hotel Aqua after two weeks holidays. As expected wife and I had a great time. However please note the following comments. 1 Reception counter badly needs upgrade. 2 Wife asked at reception bar for some milk for her tea and was told that the bar had no milk. 5 star!! 3 I asked for a cup of milky coffee at the pool bar and was served with one and no saucer. 5 star!! I might be picky but not what is expected in a 5 star hotel, or any good hotel come to that. Generally fairly minor but worth a mention. On the plus side the entertainment was much better than last year. Staff usual helpful selves. We'll be back. Regards John FreelandMore

We have just returned from the aqua yesterday I will try and give you the good and bad , this is supposed to be 5 star ? I would say a 4 star, anyway. we arrived at 1:20 am , we didn't get any of what the other reviews said (cold drink, something to eat , cool towels) but to be honest that didn't bother us as we were tired and just wanted to sleep , reception staff were pleasant enough, our room was lovely great big walk in shower , we had room 457 which was a side sea view and a view of the pool, breakfast is the usual eggs, pancakes , for the brits no sausage or baconbut plenty to fill you up, lunches were usual salad and some hot dishes again all nice, our 1st night dinner I think was just a blip the only hot choice was boiled chicken!! and roast beef that was chewie , we ended up with a baked potato and cheese but the rest of the week was fine , the staff in the testurant cannot do enough for you , Hassan, taner, and asim(buddy holly) they all had their own sections and when they seen you coming made you welcome and got you your table only thing beware (we are from Scotland) when they hear your Scottish accent all you get is awrite jimmy!! it can get a bit ott but they are just being friendly, NOW the sunbed situation is AWFUL they do have a policy but DO NOT stick to it , unless you want to get up at stupid oclock (some people we saw putting towels down at 1:30 am ) then you will not get a bed at the pool side as some reviews have said they should expand the pool area and get rid of some of the ornamental pools, we couldn't be bothered racing for a bed , my husband got up one morning at 6am and all around the pool had been taken and I have to say they were BRITISH . so we just went to the beach which is right across from the hotel , we complained to rachael our rep and i know she spoke with the management about the beds but as far as they are concerned there is enough beds ( yes if you want to sit under trees all day) so looks like they wont be doing anything about it anytime soon, entertainment was awful except for the drifters tribute act, if you get a chance go to the talk of the town trip in marmaris FANTASTIC show they change the show every Saturday so if you are there for two weeks its not the same show , overall the hotel is beautiful, staff fab and rooms lovely and clean but they realy need to listen to folks opinions but I think it falls on deaf ears, folk at hotel were saying the new seastar hotel newly opened looks fab and looks like it might just know aqua off their top spot ...More

Second visit just as good
I have to say that this was our second visit and we enjoyed it just as much as last year. Check in was fast and efficient we were given iced towels and cold drinks and offered food if we were hungry. The room was as lovely as last year with a fabulous view. The hotel and grounds are kept immaculate and nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. I thought that the animation team this year were much better than last and I would like to thank Spike for making our holiday. The only problems we encountered this year was people getting up at five o'clock in the morning to reserve sun beds and this was usually for large parties of nine, ten people. I understand when you go holiday you want to be together but you should be more considerate for other people as half of those beds taken didn't get used till the afternoon or not at all. I think the hotel needs to enforce its rules about the sun beds. Our other problem was housekeeping, the rooms are cleaned to a very high standard but sometimes when you we were returning from the pool at five o'clock the room was still not done. Apart from these two small problems we had a great time and we are already looking to book for next year.More
