Fantastic Hotel, aqua park and pools.

The food is fantastic. The staff are friendly. Everywhere is always clean. I would like to make a special mention to Murat who works in the Oasis bar. And I would also like to make a special mention to the indoor pool lifeguard Yeliz. The room was absolutely fantastic. Everything was just brilliant. Best family holiday you can get!!!More

Not a 5*

Just came back yesterday after spending a week here (19th-26th September). So lets start with the good bits. The aqua park is fantastic, it opens at 10.30 to the hotel and there is very little queues. The super combo slide, the biggest one, opens at 12.30 and closes at 4.30. That tends to have a queue of about 20 minutes. The aqua park isn't a 'death trap' as some reviews have said. Very safe with plenty of life guards. The prices of the food is reasonable in the aqua park if you decide to eat there. A meal and a drink costs around 20-25 lira (£4/5). There is so much to do at the hotel, there is 4 al a carte restaurants, but book early to avoid disappointment. We only went to the Italian and the steak house but it was outstanding. There was a cinema available on 'rainy days', a spa with plenty of treatments, and indoor pool with slides and a hot tub, plenty of water sports to do and even mini golf. The hotel is cheaper than expected. You can pick up genuine fakes in the hotel at a low price. We bought two pairs of trainers for £20 and a pair of converse joggers for £21. The city center is less than 15 minutes away in a taxi, 40 lira or 12 euros one way. There is wide selection of restaurants, shops and some home comforts like Starbucks, MacDonald's and Dominos! The shows in the theater are brilliant. There is something for everyone, comedy/ couple competitions, dance shows and theme nights. Plenty of sunbeds. Wifi was only 2 euros a day, which is quite cheap. Cons The entertainment team did not make much an effort with the guests, only Daisy from what I noticed in the morning Aqua Aerobics. The 'African Beach Party' was a total flop. I was expecting African music, but no it was English music they had played all week round the pool and bars on a beach. Again the entertainment staff did little to get people involved, they just danced on the stage for over an hour. Would be good for ages up till 18, we was 20 and we found it cringy and dull. The meal at planet yucca inside the aqua park was disappointing. At the end of my meal I noticed a screw/bolt on the plate and I was ill with stomach ache after that. The hotel happily refunded me my money and Yucca gave me and the group a cocktail each to compensate, which was good. The hotel was described having a disco. The only entertainment at night is the beach bar where the music finishes at 12.30. Again, repetitive music. The disco is only open if the weather is bad, which is a shame as it was better atmosphere. The drinks were a let down, there were not branded. This is a shock considering this is supposed to be a 5* hotel. You would have to pay if you wanted Smirnoff or baileys etc apposed the watered down local drinks. Cocktails are not free. There are free in between the hours of 4-7pm, and you have four to choose from. Other than that if you want a cocktail you have to have a pre made one out of a tank. Minifridge was a joke aswell. We had no price list in our room so we assumed the mini bar would be free. Another family we met had bought food from the shop and put it in the fridge and let their wrappers in the bin and was charged for eating them as the maid thought they had eaten out of the fridge. The food was very repetitive, but can be expected from an all inclusive. But I would say this definitely wasn't 5* standard. Hotels in Belek with lower rating would do so much for their guests and offer a lot more.More

Best family holiday ever !!

Well I do not really no where to begin ! I returned from here over a week ago and I am suffering the holiday blues big time ! This is the perfect holiday for a family. I travelled with my husband and our children aged 14 and 11. I honestly do not know where to start . The transfer from the airport was around 2 and a half hours with a 15/20min toilet stop but when your so excited this did not seem so bad and was so worth it ! I might add that was from bodrum you can fly to Izmir which is a lot closer. Checkin was very quick staff were very friendly and helpful considering it was 330am when we arrived . I was very impressed at the hotel at first glance it seemed clean and spacious. We were on the world side and had a world family room it was not huge but had everything we needed and lets be honest your room is not where you want to spend your holiday . We had a pool view and it looked gorgeous even in the dark . The beds are very comfortable and all the hallways were carpeted so is was so quiet. The choice at breakfast was very good I have seen bad reviews and people moaning about choice ! Unbelievable !! There was so much choice crepes , croissants , American pancakes, eggs freshly made omelettes , French toast , cheeses, cakes , beans , mushrooms breads , toasties , fruit cereal fresh coffee the list goes on and on and unlike other hotels I have stayed in you could have as much bottled water as you wanted !! The hotel was spotless in every area the staff were constantly cleaning . Our rooms were cleaned everyday and fresh towels left. Also beach towels available which you could exchange for a fresh one when ever you wanted. The food on offer every day was so nice and such a wide choice . I have a very fussy daughter and was worried before I left that she would moan all holiday and she ate the most lol . We found the Tropicana restaurant on the club side the best option for dinner just seemed nicer . The staff were happy to bring drinks over to your table . I had read some reviews about queuing but this was not a problem at all I think some people just like to moan . There was buffet food with such a huge choice , fresh joints of lamb whole turkeys pasta fajitas lasagne casseroles shish kebabs rice jacket potatoes , fish the list goes on forever . Also every evening there was fresh food being cooked outside on the bbq and the pizza oven. There was soups mezes salad breads and more puddings than I have ever seen . It was fun tasting them all . At lunch we tended to use the pearl snack bar the only bad point is there were a lot of flys and wasps in this area . At 3pm at the pearl bar was waffle time a massive hit with my family !! Also they done cookie time a bit later on this was not cookies as we know it though it was a selection of cakes and pastry's. The entertainment throughout the day was good to. Pool games pool parties beach foam party ! The beach was lovely to also the beach bar was great especially between 4pm to 7pm when there served a selection of free cocktails . I used to take a couple back to the room whilst getting ready for the evening lol . The water park is great !!! As it is on the doorstep we could pop in and out when we liked great that it is included in with the holiday as a day here would cost around £96 per day for a family of 4 !!! We found it a great way to break our days up . Kusadasi town is a must if you like shopping yes you are pushed a little but all you need to do is say no !! they wont kill you lol !!! We found the banter hilarious. This holiday was not like others we have had in Europe I was trying to figure out why and our conclusion is it was not full of the typical british Benidorm tourist !! I did not see or here any drunken madness ! It really has a wide selection of nationalities here which was very refreshing ! The spa was amazing I had a wonderful hot oil full body massage for one hour and it was just £35 which is so much cheaper than home . I had seen people moaning about the wifi I did not try the free wifi in the lobby etc but I did purchase wifi for 2 euros everyday and never had a problem with it I could always get on it no matter where I was it even worked on the beach 2euros well spent lol !! I could sit here and write forever about this holiday we really had the time of our lives . My husband does not like to go back to the same place as he likes to see as much of the world as possible but even he is sold on going back here !!! We have booked Cyprus for next year but we shall deffo be back to aqua fantasy for 2017 !! Thank you so much for a outstanding time keep up the good work aquafantasy. Anyone thinking of booking do it you will not regret it xxxMore
