Lovely week long holiday
We have just got home from what was a fantastic week staying here. Arrival: We were on a Tui shared coach and were 3rd on the drop off and it still only took 35 minutes to get to the hotel. A couple had taken the private drop off and barely got there before us so don't feel the need to upgrade. We were checked in very quickly despite a large bus of us being dropped off at once and welcomed with a glass of bubbles and a rose. Our bags were quickly dropped to the room and the staff very helpful. Room: We had a standard room and upon first impressions it has what it needs. A small minibar which has water, beer, diet coke, lemonade and iced tea in which is restocked daily. There is also tea and coffee again restocked daily. The room was cleaned daily and we got amazing towel arrangements too! Food: Breakfast had all sorts of stuff - pancakes, cereal, pastries, full fry up, breads, cheese, cold meats, etc. Lunch came in a number of forms - Pizza which was amazing! You got to pick your own toppings and it was made in front of you - it was really tasty! Pasta house was yummy with lots of options and big portions. Snack bar was a great place for burgers and salads. Then on top of all of that there was a large selection of buffet food too so there is no way you would go hungry! There was also a snack bar which did great cookies and other sweet snacks too. Dinner was great with show cooking outside and different things inside every night too. There was some things which were always there - e.g. spaghetti, salads (though these were not the same every night) and chips - BUT it was not the exact same food every night and realistically I struggle to see how people can complain about the food. We also had a lovely meal in the Turkish restaurant and would strongly recommend to book this as we would have eaten there again it was so good! They were very apologetic as I have a nut allergy and couldn't have 1 course however I struggled to eat all of the food as there was so many courses that were all lovely! The wine in the hotel was good house wine and the cocktails were strong and made with decent label spirits so well worth having a few and no hangovers were had. In the main hall we were served by an absolutely fantastic guy called Halil (may not have the right spelling) but he was a great guy, so friendly and looked after us - he spoke great English and German and would recommend you go and find his area (near the back of the main dining hall) as he will look after you. Pools: They were not heated when we went so were really cold but this is due to the weather not the hotel and there were loads of sun beds and places to sit. The adult only pool was great for a quieter area and there were water slides and a kids pool as well as a general other large pool and the beach was right there too! Location: You can walk to a number of shopping arcades within 5-10 minutes or go to the old town in a taxi for under 200 TL and they will wait for you while you look around. It was nice to have a wander round the old city and see the sights. Spa: I had 3 x 1hr massage, 1 x Turkish bath and a face mask. It wasn't cheap at £150 however it was amazing! I was very relaxed and also the lady who did the massages was a pro and combined multiple techniques to get my knots out! Overall: I would strongly recommend the hotel and stay here again. The staff are a real credit to the hotel and the country. We did tip the cleaner, bar staff and restaurant staff daily because they did such a great job and earned it - other people staying didn't and they still received high class treatment so it wasn't as if tipping got us extras. This is not a typical British all inclusive and there are a lot of Germans and Russians here so if you are looking for all British this may not be the place for you.More
Nice choice at Lara beach
the hotel's location is very good, however, the room standard does not equate to a five star hotel. The lobby and facilities are high standard. The food has great varieties, but could be improved. Front desk staff require intensive customer care training. Guest relations are very good and highly receptive. Advice to avoid a room close to elevators as they will be noisy and cause discomfort. Hotel has to provide fans in rooms as it gets hot and air conditioning was not operational. Rooms sound proofing is not satisfactory. Hotel should accommodate families with children on different floors from families without children. Noise is a major disturbing factor around rooms. Housekeeping staff language is zero. You simply cannot communicate with them. Restaurants and buffet staff are very good and helpful at all times.More
INCREDIBLE HOTEL! WORTH MORE THAN FIVE STARS!
This hotel is impeccable! From the rooms to the all inclusive food and drinks to the service from staff! The rooms are so modern and spacious it is very beautiful. There are so many food stands to choose from and the drinks are limitless! Couldn't fault anything! All the staff are extremely polite and friendly but my heart lays with Mr Mustafa as he is simply AMAZING! He truly humbled me and made my stay even better than I could've ever expected! He deserves ALL the praise! THANK YOU for making my partner and I's experience special! Will definitely be coming back later again this year! More
I'll be visiting very very soon!!!!!!!!
It all started from the very first moment when we checked in and the Hotel Receptionist Hasan greeted us with refreshing welcome drinks and a rose for the women. From the moment we arrived I knew that this hotel was for us. The entertainment each night was second to none, with special thanks to Charlie and Ronaldo who were the funniest, nicest people I've ever met. Also to Halil who would always joke around with us each night during the entertainment portion of the holiday. The waiters were very friendly and would constantly ask us if we needed drinks. However, I was disappointed that the pier on the beach was dismantled and that the cake&waffle house was closed as I was looking forward to this. overall, it was the best holiday I've ever been on & I will definitely be visiting this hotel again.More
