Great holiday with a few little renovations needed
As a single dad, I took both my daughters (aged 13yrs and 14.5yrs) over the Xmas period for 1 week. The hotel staff are excellent and very friendly and the Kids club team did a great job entertaining us every evening. Top marks to the DJ, who would come down after the evening entertainment and do an awesome job playing great sound tracks into the early hours of the next day. Although the hotel was at very low capacity, we were lucky to have met some very nice guests during our stay, that made it that extra special. I don't really visit the same place twice, but there is something special and warm about this hotel and I am sure I will be back. Food Breakfast: Great variety of food and I love the freshly made flat bread. It would be awesome if you could add a choice for guests to add various items into the fresh bread ie onions, sliced tomatoes, green peppers etc Coffee: Was hit and miss. Sometimes it was nice and on some occasions, not so nice. Lunch: Tasty food and I love the BBQ style food, delivered each day Dinner: Again tasty food. It would be great to also serve the fresh flat bread at dinner time and not only breakfast time. Desserts: A let down, they tasted too much like the bad American desserts. Nice to look at, but no real taste. Some more traditional morocco desserts would be a better choice. Perhaps some ideas from UK desserts. One thing I would suggest is to always have food handy for guests, as one time we returned from Quad biking approx. 5.30pm, very hungry, but there were no snacks available, even in the bar area left from reception, as such, we had to wait until dinner time. Due to the time of year, water was too cold and only a few slides were open. That said, my daughters still enjoyed the waterpark on a few of the slides. SPA: Had several treatments, all ok. Staff very friendly. Only problem was, due to renovations in Block A, it was a bit noisy to relax and quite cold in the room when having a massage. Also needs some renovations around the SPA area. Family Room Pool View Great size and comfortable. Very good house cleaning service each day. Reception Staff: Outstanding and always eager to help. Very friendly. 10/10 We did two days of quad biking, but worth taking water with you and protective clothing, as during one of the days, one of the quad bikes, burst a pipe and my daughter had hot water from the radiator splashed on her thigh, luckily I had a bottle of water to wash off immediately. A day out to the Market is also well worth the visit. Bought a few trainers, tops and watches. I created two family videos of our fun during our week's stay, you can find them on youtube, my channel name is cybernaz67 In summary, A very good hotel, which will get full marks when all renovations are complete. Fantastic staff and a very good waterpark for when the summer heat is up.More
Ab Fab time
Great time had at this hotel in November 2016. Myself my husband and 10year old daughter went for my 50th birthday. Lovely location , how nice to sit by the pool (one of many) over 20 degrees, with a cocktail served by the wonderful outside bar staff Adil and Soufraine, whilst looking at the atlas mountains with snow on . The entertainment team were brilliant always making sure that they involved all the children. My daughter loved the football. The food was excellent always a great choice, a lovely welcome from all the staff. The water park was clean and tidy as in fact was everywhere and the indoor pools were warm. We had fun even if the weather wasn't great as the team always tried to involve all the guests The onsite photographer was great, no pressure sales and would take any pictures you asked (in fact I'm hoping they still have our photos as I couldn't buy them on the day we left as the card machine didn't work and I'd like to try and get them now) We arranged a trip out for my birthday and went on the safari , quad biking....amazing, 4x4 ride ,camel ride and traditional meal with Bedouin dress and music fantastic experience that we all enjoyed and well worth the money. tHe hotel staff were very helpful, we had a small issue with our shower and they changed our room no problem The only thing I would avoid is the spa.. It isn't actually run by the hotel. The promises made are not followed up, it is cold , disorganised and not a nice experience at all. We had booked packages for all of us supposedly tailor made especially for my daughter. Absolute rubbish. Both myself and my daughter ended up with rashes. DO NOT USE THE SPA. Everything else great and would definately return.More

Hi, i visited the resort in October 2016, it was off peak so there wasn't many people but we enjoyed it, the room was very poorly maintained, bathroom needed a well deserved upgrade, we also had a real bad stench of sewage so i asked to move and to be fair they moved us... The second room was fine apart from the toilet, it was blocked so i asked 4/5 times to have it sorted then they sent the plumber who go to go but very slow, i tried explaining that its not sorted but he could not understand English....yes i called the plumber everyday for 5 days because of the same issue sometimes twice, my gosh they left the room pooled with water and did not think for a second to clean it or get it cleaned.... Someone who was traveling with us got locked outside the balcony and she was screaming for help, she was stuck out there for around half an hour, the lock on the patio door malfunctioned so they had to break it.... Food was ok but got better towards the end because it was getting busier, water park was awesome even though we froze... After all the issues at the start we enjoyed it and thought we would give it another go, so we booked for February 2017 on their website.... 5 weeks before we are due to travel i get a call from a family who is to travel with us that the agent he booked with has told him the hotel is closing for 1 month on the 10th of Feb the day i was due to check in, ive had no emails from the hotel, no correspondence and when i called up i got transferred 3 times because people could not answer me, the lady i did end up speaking to was very helpful but this has spoilt my holiday, there were 3 families going together now we are struggling to find something to accommodate all of us... Im very upset with what has happened, my stress levels have gone through the roof, im considering cancelling all together and loose my flight cost because we can't find anything suitable.....very very poor communication intact terribleMore
A GREAT winter family hoilday!
We spent 9 days here over Christmas. It was unreal. The room was sunny and clean with plenty of room. The staff were amazing! From the moment we arrived the staff could not do enough for us. From the reception staff to the bell boy who was always really helpful. The young guy behind the outside bar was lovely as were the girls inside. The entertainment staff were unreal. Chicco is amazing. He got everyone involved in everything. Including my husband who is not a join-in kind of guy. The entertainment staff were amazing with all the kids. My daughter loved them. The shows was always enjoyable at night. I would love to get the song list from the kids disco each night as my daughter really enjoyed this. The food was unbelievable!! I read some of the reviews and was concerned, as with all inclusive about it being repetitive, NO WAY is this the case. I ate different things all the time. If you could not find lots of great things to eat you weren't trying. The restaurant staff were always very helpful. In some of the reviews they were saying about the water park not being open and the water being cold. Well it is winter so this is understandable. Some of the slides opened in the afternoon but my daughter was always busy playing with other kids. plus kids being kids they went in the pool anyway. Yes there was renovations going on but these never effected us. the managers kept the workers out of sight. We had such a good time and really enjoyed our stay we would definitely recommend Aqua fun.More
