9 ladies, ranging in ages, did a last minute trip and booked blindly booked to stay here. The hotel was spotlessly clean. I'd say accommodation wise, it's a uk 3 star. The food was brilliant. Being a French colony, the food ranged from Moroccan, French, European (pasta and pizza etc) with freshly made sushi and kebabs. Lovely salad bar too! The only slight disappointment was the lack of selection of fresh fruit. I hoped they'd be more of what's grown in Morocco. The breakfast selection was excellent with traditional mint tea being served. The staff were attentive and the hotel itself had wonderful pools and slides, although most were shut in November. The only disappointment we had was the pool bar closing at 7pm and us being forced to move into the piano bar. It was much nicer sitting outside in the garden rather than being forced upstairs listening to bad karaoke. The hotel evenings this time of year were 'lost'. No real entertainment or nice place to sit and hang out. No nibbles or fruit etc to have with your drink. However we made sure we had a great time. The view of the mountains from the hotel are lovely and each morning I was gently awoken with the call to prayer and I watched the sunrise over the mountains. (I slept with my window open and aircon off so could hear the world awake). The hotel gardens are beautiful. Would I return, yes I would. I'd make sure I had more to entertain myself in the evenings. Loved my holiday though. More
All I can say is the Animation team are brilliant this was my 3rd time in 6 months and would like to give a shout out for Moez, Beasu, Chico, Mimi, Yaya, Jambo and Tito they were brilliant very hard working they deserve a lot of praise for what they do. Also I can say the bar staff were brilliant they looked after me well as usual :-) specially when I dislocated my knee there to be honest I have gotten to know nearly all the staff there and I can say they are very lovely and hard working. I do not trust the maids every time I have been something little has gone missing from my room. The rooms are good however the plug sockets need replacing as they are loose and making crackly noises I have been three times now and in all three rooms they were the same but apart from that the rooms are nice, Since I came in November the pools were freezing maybe you might think to get a couple heated for the winter time. Also id like to make a suggestion for the food, maybe you can think about getting hot plates as sometimes the food is cold and also maybe think about doing cheese burgers or whole pizzas as when I went to a hotel in Egypt they did full pizzas for people they just asked what kind we wanted. I am a fussy eater so I didn't really eat much over there. To be honest its the only holiday where I go and actually loose weight. They need to work on their English a bit as most times I have trouble trying to explain things to them specially when I dislocated my knee, I was trying to tell them I dislocated my knee however they had no clue on what I was saying. Also every time I come the security guard seems to hang around my room during the night and this can be very annoying as all I can here is his radio and this keeps me up. However I would recommend people to come here specially for the entertainment as they are great. As usual I will be back probably in March see you soon :-)More
Worst Park Ever!!!
We were expecting an exciting family day out which soon turned into an awful experience. Upon entrance we had to pay 900 Dirhams to a person by the name Saida with no mention of freezing cold water and the deserted park, when asked why the park was isolated nothing was mentioned about the closed slides and freezing water. After 10 minutes in the unbearable water i wanted to speak to the manager. Once, he had arrived he refused to help us or assist with the refund of over 900 Dirhams, not that he couldn't help but he wouldn't. He was rude and arrogant. A decent park would give a refund and inform us about the indoor park. But this one should e ashamed of itself and closed down, shame on you aqua park. Kids were crying on the way out as well as shaking which led to high temperature and fever. All they had to do was say the water is not suitable for children due to the temperature. To the managers of aqua park i hope you close down for conning me.More
If out of season, I wouldn't waist my money
The hotel itself is very nice, spacious and clean. Lovey reception area to chill out in (lots of sofas). I guess I went at the wrong time for this hotel, the staff were very rude (apart from 2), half of the slides were shut of all week, and none of the pool bars or food areas were open. Ate the same food all week from the same restaurant, nothing changed. However you was allowed one night in the Italian restaurant. They stop serving drinks at midnight but most of the week they stopped serving from 11:30! Also even though I paid for an all inclusive I was told I wasn't allowed to order over 3 drinks at a time for me and my friends, even though hardly anyone was queuing. The club was very good, opened at 12 shut at 2, good music and vibes for all cultures. The cleaners would constantly walk into mine and my friends from without knocking, walking into us naked a dozen of times! They have free shuttle buses that take you to the markets and back, you can also hire a guid which I would recommend. Overall I think if I went when it was 'in season' my experience would have been better, but unfortunately I felt like they were trying to get rid of us so they could go home, not good for out of season. A nice hotel with lovely food but the water park could do with a revamp and the Spa is best avoided
The food was really good, especially the noodles cooked to order. The staff are very friendly, especially towards the children. It was a shame that none of the outdoor pools were heated, not even the children's pools. The weather wasn't warm enough to heat the water and the children wouldn't go in to play on the slides. The indoor pools are heated, but we wanted to spend time outside and this was a great disappointment. The entire water park looked tired and needs cleaning and modernising to bring it up to standard. It's a great shame because it could be a really lovely hotel and water park. I went to the spa and was very disappointed. Not only did I have to go back 4 times to get the change I was owed, but the treatments were not even half the length of time they were meant to be. They were also of a very poor standard. I wish I hadn't wasted my money. I had a package with everything and nothing was very good, the nails were chipped by the next day as only a single layer of polish was applied and the massage which I greatly needed was a complete wasted of time.More
