This hotel pulls out all the stops – it has 7 pools, including a lazy river, plus a quartet of restaurants.
Location-wise, this hotel makes things easy. Just over the road – about 5 minutes’ walk – is a sandy beach with super-shallow water. And less than 10 minutes by cab or bus gets you to lively Ayia Napa.
The hotel is big on pools – 7 in all, including one just for adults, and a family-friendly lazy river. The restaurant scene ticks off 4 places, one of which is a retro-style diner. There’s a great bar for cocktails, too.

Stayed for a week from 27th July to 3rd August with my wife, a 14 year old son and 8 year old daughter. Very impressed with the resort. The pools were great and cater for small children with the shallow pool with pirate ship as well as childless couples with the adult only pool as well as some pools for all including the indoor pool which is great to cool down on those extra hot days. The kids club and teens club were well run and had good opening times so they could occupy them until 11pm so us adults could enjoy the evening shows. The entertainment at the main outdoor bar was a bit hit and miss. I thought the Magician and the on site entertainment teams were excellent but found the guest entertainment to be doing more shouting than singing. A bonus though was that by escaping the noise of the main bar we discovered the inside bar that was a lot cooler (in both meanings of the word). There were guest singers of a more laid back style and I particularly enjoyed the male female duo. We had a Junior family suite that was ideal for us and was facing into the pirate boat pool. The bathroom was a little small and dated but perfectly OK for our needs. We all thought the quality and variety of the food in the main buffet restaurant was excellent so much so that the only other restaurant we tried was the American Dinner. The American Dinner does what you would expect such as a range of burgers. I went for a steak, it was the best I've had for a long time and was way beyond my expectations for this setting. After reading other reviews I was a little worried that the weddings would be over bearing and make it less likely for our kids to make friends. However, I didn't find this to the case at all. There were a few weddings on most days but these were barely noticeable as they are held in the more secluded parts of the ground and the wedding parties we saw were quite small. The other criticism I read previously was regarding the wifi. I found this to be perfectly OK for checking news, e-mails, Facebook etc but inadequate for teenagers wanting to Skype, stream video or play games. A bit sad if that's what you want to be doing on holiday. I've never really been tempted to go back to the same resort after a holiday as life is short and there is a whole world to discover. However, I could make an exception for this resort. I may hint to some relatives what a great venue it is for a wedding and hope for an invite.More
Stayed in the Fisherman's Village for one week. Leaving today. Everything about this place has been first class. From the Olympic Restaurant to the Diner and Seven Orchard Restaurant. Special mention must go to Barbara for her service to the residents of Fisherman's Village nothing is to much trouble, warm smiling personality enjoyed by all.More
Lovely hotel. Great staff. Plenty of weddings but you don't really see much of the wedding other than for about 10 minutes while they are situated in the reception area. Gives you pleasure though while your in your swim trunks in 35 degrees heat and they are in suites :) Would recommend this hotel for big groups other than a couples holiday as not much around hotel other than a short taxi drive to Nissi avenue.
