This hotel pulls out all the stops – it has 7 pools, including a lazy river, plus a quartet of restaurants.
Location-wise, this hotel makes things easy. Just over the road – about 5 minutes’ walk – is a sandy beach with super-shallow water. And less than 10 minutes by cab or bus gets you to lively Ayia Napa.
The hotel is big on pools – 7 in all, including one just for adults, and a family-friendly lazy river. The restaurant scene ticks off 4 places, one of which is a retro-style diner. There’s a great bar for cocktails, too.

Amazing holiday experience !!
Went to Cyprus with a friend for her daughter's wedding and decided to stay at Olympic Lagoon which has loads of positives to say and for sure it is what it promises and exactly what you see on the holiday brochures !! Very clean hotel , nice rooms and plenty of lovely fresh food plus the all inclusive cocktails . Staff were very friendly and hardworking during our stay. There was entertainment everyday and night but I think kids entertainment was better than what they offered for adults.More

Excellent child care/facilities - July 2014
A nice hotel with lots of facilities, we had one of the "villa" type rooms, it was a very good size and the cleaning time were very good. Positives: The main positive for me was the child care and the team in particular Rhian & Coral, they were great with my daughter 4yrs old and my son who turned one whilst we were there and they were fantastic, they arrange a little party for him, with the other children signing, a birthday cake and for one of the mascots to come along. The choice of food was also good, I particularly liked the American Diner. I also had a full body massage and it was very good, they were very polite etc. Not so good (in my opinion): I felt the animation team worked extremely hard, maybe to hard!! however I have to say that most of the "tribute" acts were very poor, in particular Rod Stewart, Robbie Williams and Lady gaga!! I would expect better quality than this for the price paid, I also think they missed a trick with the sun lounger lay out around the childrens/infants pool, as there is just not enough space.More
Went in July 2013 and we loved it. Travelled with my 11 year old daughter and wife leaving late teen son at home for first time. He wishes he had come now ! Everything was very clean, food was excellent, the 50s diner was cool, the sun loungers were hesian so no burning plastic, the pools were brilliant, the drinks and waiter service were pleniful. We had a family suite and it did us just fine. Entertainmnet from kids clubs to night time shows were excellent. Only feedback I would give is lack of branded drinks. It was our most expensive holiday apart from the USA and I would have expected better quality alcohol. That aside, we cant fault the holiday.More
Best holiday we have ever had and an amazing wedding
Well where to start this is an amazing hotel one of the best we have ever stayed in, the staff are 5 star the food is the best we have ever had the buffet resturant was brilliant breakfast dinner and lunch the hardest was what to choose, the dinner and the sushi were all lovely, the all inclusive for the drinks were great too and the staff are more than happy to help and happy to help even for silly little requests, we had standard rooms as well as a bungalow with our own private pool and again the rooms we could not have asked for more! we took 26 people in total for our wedding and i have to say the wedding was fantastic the staff could not do more it even rained on the wedding day, the hotel staff started to decorate an indoor venue incase the service could not go ahead in the gardens they also put the time back by 40 minutes so that we could get married in the gardens even the manager was down there clearing the rain water away and changing chair covers! from start to finish this is a holiday of a lifetime and i can not recommend this hotel enough we had people from 7 years up to 70's and every one of our party loved every moment, the cocktails are extrememly scrummy too, on the wedding side the on site hair salon was brilliant made us all feel like a princess and the hair and makeup was brilliant everyone cried when i came down the isle how could you ask for more! not having to take your own towels also and being able to change them as often as you like was great especially with the children, the hotel was always imacculate and the staff always working! before we went i spent months on here reading the reviews and i can honestly tell you i have never stayed anywhere as lovely anyone looking for an amazing holiday you are in the right place AMAZING!!!!More

The Ultimate Blue Lagoon Paradise - A World of Leisure!
This is the first time I stay at this hotel, but several years back I was here to see some friends from the UK. We were here in October. The award-winning Olympic Lagoon has recently been expanded, upgraded and renovated beyond recognition. Stunning as it is now, it offers new and upgraded facilities & services and provides an immense variety of family-focused and adult-oriented amenities. The ideal haven of leisure. You see it is so huge that allows guests to enjoy their favorite aspect: the fun facilities for all ages, or the quiet corner designed for two. LOCATION: Very close to the popular Nissi Bay area and only 130 m from the fine golden sandy beach Landa. Just 2 km from the Water Park, with nightlife, restaurants and the city centre 3km away. CHECK-IN: Fast & efficient. We had our luggage loaded on a buggy and given a lift to our suite. STAFF/SERVICE: The overall levels of service was beyond excellent and staff is consistently attentive. 95% probably more are Cypriots. Nothing is too much for them and they do their best to make guests feel the genuine Cypriot hospitality. The staff is extremely friendly and chatty so it did not take long to feel that we were among friends. You see, the personalized service makes guests feel valued and this is one of the reasons for the many repeaters. The stay was just 4 days but the excellent service, professionalism, innovation, the integrity and respect of the team made us feel at home. An extra credit goes to the guest relations manager Ele for her precious assistance and guidance, who even after we left, she emailed me to check if we had a safe trip back home. HOTELS: The Kanika Hotel & Resorts rank amongst the most established hotel groups in Cyprus, and the Company owns and operates 4 other hotels and resorts. These are the Alexander the Great Hotel in Paphos, Elias Beach Hotel in Limassol, Olympic Bay in Ayia Napa. -The Amathus Beach Hotel of Paphos will be transformed in line with Kanikaâs pioneering âOlympic Lagoon Resort Premium All-Inclusiveâ concept. It will open its doors in June 2015. THE GROUNDS: The premises are vast and since it was our first stay here I had no idea what to expect. We entered through the back entrance, passed the beautiful gardens, and the closest we got I kept asking myself if all this was reality or just a fancy. It seemed obvious that guests were enjoying the perfect tranquility in the ultimate blue lagoon tropical paradise. The pool with the pirate ship and the waterfall reminded me a bit of Disneyland! The key word is variety, and indeed there is so much to do here depending on your likes. From different room types to multiple pools and cuisine from around the worldâ¦the choice is up to the budget limit and interests of the individual party. SUITE: Our brand new deluxe and so tastefully decorated superior room #706 was located on the upper floor in the exclusive adult-only wing of the âFishermanâs Villageâ. The word âstunningâ is very little to describe the view. The double glazed windows opened to a private balcony with lounge chairs that overlooked the lush tropical gardens. So serene and peaceful, just couples here, experiencing the ease and luxury of a high standard hotel. The refined interior is based on the style of traditional Cypriot village homes. Great care has been taken to create a fusion of cutting edge modernity with the Cyprus traditional style thus the elegant interior simplicity offers the ultimate in style and comfort. The subtle alliance of light colours, natural woods and textiles, the flow and pleasing lines of the furniture, all combine and contribute to the soothing atmosphere. The 4 poster double bed was so comfortable adding to the warm and elegant décor. Plenty of storage space, a 31â plasma TV with free satellite channels, two chairs, a side table, a safe, hairdryer, bathrobes and slippers. Tea & Coffee making facilities and a Mini fridge stocked with welcome drinks. The welcoming treat was a huge platter of fruit together with other delicacies, as well as a box of Cypriot delights. Each day we had one or two bottles of water and turn down service every night with two tiny chocolates placed on the pillows. BATHROOM: The en-suite bathroom was extremely spacious with a Jacuzzi bathtub. The complimentary set of deluxe toiletries surprised me happily. I only came across them once, and they stand out for their exotic fragrance and smoothing properties. They are Italian hypoallergenic products that you will love. Wi Fi connection is free but I noticed that there are several rooms especially in the main building where internet connection is really a problem. Of course guests can connect out in the lobby, pools and common grounds. I believe this is something the management has to consider for the coming season. ALL INCLUSSIVE: Kanika hotels have adopted the popular all-inclusive concept. At the hotel the terms of stay include all meals, snacks, ice creams and a whole range of drinks and refreshments. Different restaurants serve culinary delights and treats from around the world, with local meze and speciality cuisine included. RESTAURANTS: It is a delight trying out new flavors daily! The choice is endless, the restaurants are unbelievably better than what you can find outsideâ¦more than you can imagine, so there is no need to bother searching outdoors simply because the very best are here. The Executive Chef of the Resort Antonis Nicolaou and his Team received numerous accolades this year at the HO.RE.CA 2014 Gastronomy competition, including a gold medal for their fish and lamb dishes, as well as other prizes for their wedding cakes and celebration desserts. They have indeed taken the âall inclusiveâ to another standard and we felt that we were spoilt for choice. If you love Japanese try the Zen tranquility of Kiku. You will certainly find the tastes tempting and the setting unique. The Royal Olympic or the 50s trend of the Rock nâ Roll Dinner. Every taste is equally valued and catered for! Get to the watery surrounds of the Cypriot Taverna at Captainâs Deck. Mrs. Androula the Chef works miracles in her kitchen and the entire team of youngsters are loveable while the service impeccable. I remember sweet Eva, Pantelis, Tony and Achilleas. We loved the food and atmosphere and arranged to finish our 3 week trip to Cyprus with authentic Cypriot cuisine, and say goodbye to the whole team before flying back to Greece. Dishes: âAvgolemonoâ the soup of Mrs. Androula is heavenly. Never in my life had I tasted such a delicious soup. Kleftiko, afelia, pligouri, pastitsio, keftedes and many more. Be sure to taste some local wine or the homeâs wine which is excellent. The Royal Olympic overlooks the Fishermanâs village with its lush gardens, and offers inviting indoor and outdoor seating, with a composed area reserved for adults. Lunch time is a feast. The theme evening buffets are a paradise for food lovers with Chefs giving a live cooking show through their open kitchens. Excellent presentation exquisite tastes! Breakfast is taken at this restaurant each morning and there is everything you could dream of. Name it and you will have it. Fresh ingredients, mouthwatering desserts, fresh orange juice! Enough to fill you up for many hours. POOLS/LEISURE: 7 themed swimming pools in allâ¦can you imagine it? The pools at the Olympic Lagoon range from the kidâs splash pool and family pools to adult-s only pools. From waterfalls and whirlpools to a Lazy River that happens to be very popular -I would have at least 2 rides myself out here daily. Its unique watercourse with jets, drifts guests through a peaceful watery paradise, overpassing bridges, resting river-sites hidden under the tropical oasis. I recall moments of absolute relaxation that we experienced by the Adultâs only Pool. The waiter service was second to none. The guys would spray our face with cold water, hand in cold towels to cool down, fresh fruit, a round of cocktails and everyoneâs sunglasses would get cleaned while guests sunbathe. In the afternoon a chocolate dainty morsel. If this is not pamperingâ¦.then what? BEACH: The Landa beach is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Just walk through the gardens, cross the road and get to the coast. The beach is considered one of the best in Ayia Napa and its crystal turquoise waters will amaze you. (Have in mind though that two beds & an umbrella will cost you â¬7.50). ACTIVITIES/ ENTERTAINMENT: It seems that animation and entertainment programmes are an essential part of the Kanika holidays. 40 exciting activities take place weekly dedicated exclusively to the young guests. Pools, sports areas, the Little Monsters Kids Club and Teez. Adults have their share of course with indoor and outdoor sport activities, Yoga, Zumba, Aerobics and much more. There is something for everyone. SPA: Recently renovated with expert therapists and upgraded treatment rooms, offers full menu for face and body therapies using world-class marine-based products. Be sure to visit it to ....Travel your âbody, mind & soulâ before returning home! A relaxing massage individually tailored to the guestâs needs is a great way to recover from your flight or prepare for the journey home. I had two out here, a Back and a Full Body massage. My therapists Dalia and Beth managed to relieve all muscle and body tension right away and I could feel the difference for days. A huge bravo goes to the whole team for their efficiency, well programming and punctuality. WEDDINGS: âKanika Weddingsâ has become synonymous with romantic celebrations in all Kanika hotels across Cyprus. Guests should just pick the preferred location and let the rest to the experts. Talk with the people behind this and rest assured that your wish is their command because they are simply professionals. OVERALL EXPERIENCE: It is more than just a hotel. Despite its size we did feel the personal touch, & the Cypriot hospitality which I am after on each trip to Cyprus! Thank you guys for making our stay memorable. It is because of staff like you that makes us want to return. We truly got spoilt and you guys became more friends to us than just a waiter/staff.More
