Olympic Lagoon

This hotel pulls out all the stops – it has 7 pools, including a lazy river, plus a quartet of restaurants.

Location-wise, this hotel makes things easy. Just over the road – about 5 minutes’ walk – is a sandy beach with super-shallow water. And less than 10 minutes by cab or bus gets you to lively Ayia Napa.

The hotel is big on pools – 7 in all, including one just for adults, and a family-friendly lazy river. The restaurant scene ticks off 4 places, one of which is a retro-style diner. There’s a great bar for cocktails, too.

Easter Week-End Break.

We usually go away for Cypriot Easter week-end as we live in Paphos, nothing open at home, so you might as well be away. This is our first time at this hotel and it is really nice, the staff are friendly and helpful, the grounds are immaculate, the whole area is clean, tidy and well maintained.. The food is very good, plenty of choice on the buffet, we also went to the on site Taverna, the food was excellent there as well. The Rock n Roll burger bar is also very good food and plentiful. There is free wi-fi throughout the complex, but it is very slow at busy times. The drinks on the all-inclusive are fine although they are locally produced alcohol, the bar staff are friendly and efficient, many thanks "Panos", The rooms are very good and cleaned twice a day, the cleaners are friendly as well as efficient. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone and will be booking there again in the not too distant future. Many thanks to all for a great long week-end.More

Amazing 👌

Stayed here in April for my cousins wedding. Cannot fault anything here! The entire hotel is absolutely spotless. Staff are second to none, very efficient. The food was very good too. Always a good selection and very tasty. The service they provided for the wedding itself was perfect. An amazing first time that would definitely make me return in the future.More

travel agent review

in my job I have to be very critical about reviews...... But here I cannot. superb place with attentive staff. great array of activities for kids from a well drilled entertainment crew. The evening entertainment supplied by the staff was brilliant even though only in their second week. No hesitation in recommending this hotel even for couples. Try all eateries if you don't ask.....thank you from me and my family for a brilliant week. Even have Steve the barmen ask for him.More

Good facilities yes but the staff make this resort excellent

Just back from a very relaxing easter week at the Olympic Lagoon. It's not often that I feel compelled to write a hotel review but the staff at the Olympic really do deserve special recognition for delivering what I can only describe as fabulous service. In short they seem to have the formula right with the staff at the Olympic as all the staff over the whole week just seemed so happy and always greeted us with a warm smile, add to that: Sam and the "all stars" entertainment team who work so hard during the day and then put on such great evening shows (Jersey boys was particularly excellent) ; Steve and the pool bar team who serve so fast you rarely wait and always with a smile ; all the bar and glass buffers who keep the place absolutely spotless (something that can be a real bug bar in an all inclusive resort) and the waiting staff in the restaurants who were always attentive, polite and totally professional. So without doubt its the staff that make this resort but I would be remiss if I didn't mention the food which was very good, now I'm not a fan of the buffet but this one was very good (great choice and great food), the american diner a big hit with teenagers (and to be honest parents as well) and the Japanese which was just sublime, in fact the only disappointment was the Captains table which with a fixed menu does not count as a la carte for me. The acid test is you know the food was good when meal time was a memorable holiday pleasure. Finally the resort facilities; basically you get everything you would expect in a good four star resort, loved the lazy river and the pools where spotless, with regard to rooms with 5 of us we had two of the most basic rooms and they where fine to honest (you do get some noise in the middle rooms so avoid if you sleep light but didn't bother us), room facilities are nothing special but rooms are clean and with all the regular 4 star hotel features you could expect. I very rarely return to the same resort but frankly with the staff making this holiday so enjoyable I might just break that rule......More
