This hotel pulls out all the stops – it has 7 pools, including a lazy river, plus a quartet of restaurants.
Location-wise, this hotel makes things easy. Just over the road – about 5 minutes’ walk – is a sandy beach with super-shallow water. And less than 10 minutes by cab or bus gets you to lively Ayia Napa.
The hotel is big on pools – 7 in all, including one just for adults, and a family-friendly lazy river. The restaurant scene ticks off 4 places, one of which is a retro-style diner. There’s a great bar for cocktails, too.

the most incredible holiday
this is by far the most amazing holiday i have ever been on. worth every penny, and not much need to even leave the resort. this place has everything covered, from kids, to young couples, and even wedding parties. the staff are welcoming, the food is excellent, the entertainment was fantastic and the whole atmosphere was just perfect. i cant wait to return!More
Stayed here for 7 nights in October 2016 to attend a friends wedding. This hotel was really lovely and nicer than what I was expecting. It was clean and the staff were all very friendly and willing to help. Our room was large, airy and spacious with a balcony overlooking the adults-only pool. The room was clean with a huge bed and a decent sized bathroom. The choice of food on offer I thought was good, although I felt that breakfast offered the best selection with lots of fresh fruit etc. There's an American style diner that offers food all day even when the main eating place is shut. The al la carte places were also really nice, the Japanese one being my favourite of them all! The drinks of offer were all branded alcohol which made a nice change and I found the selection to be excellent (try a Mary Poppins cocktail.....perfect!!) There is a kids pool and play area, and the main pool was pretty large. We stayed b the adults-only pool due to no kids; this area was quieter and more relaxing! No problem getting sunbeds as there were plenty on offer for everyone. The Lazy River is a good way to waste 15-20 minutes and the kids seemed to love it! Nissi Beach is around 15 minute walk from the hotel, and to get into Napa in a taxi was around 25 mins I would hazard.More
Great friendly staff. Great choice at the buffets. Wide range of drinks and cocktails. Clean rooms with nice beds. Fine swimming pools and attractive manicured gardens. A great place for couples... These many plus points are definitely reality what one promised in the brochures!!! Has to tell and certainly is what it promises and is exactly what you see on the holiday brochures!! Very clean hotel, nice rooms and delicious fresh food plus the all-inclusive cocktails.More
Lovely hotel but not worth the money at all!
Firstly I am not a snob and I always look at reviews before staying anywhere abroad and think how can those people that wrote anything bad complain as the hotel was great. So we arrive at the hotel Olympic Lagoon Resort and it looks amazing, we get to our room and its okay, quite small got everything we needed really and the bed was the most comfortable bed ever so that was great. The next day we decide to go look around the pools which stated there was 5 pools in total actually there was 3 pools in total and one was inside and a lazy river that didn't have enough jets in it to move. Moving on to the food and drinks, there are 3 restaurants on site the American Diner which you can go to whenever you like however many days you like and a sushi and Cypriot restaurant which you can only visit once a week (anymore and you have to pay). The main restaurant which you pay for all inclusive has the exact same food everyday (like most hotels) although its stated that there are different theme nights. The best thing was the omelettes which are cooked for you (the lady who serves was lovely). The sushi restaurant was lovely (if you like that kind of food) but if you are going the hottest part of the year I would recommend wearing practically no clothes! It was that hot! The Cypriot restaurant was okay (if you like that kind of food). The all inclusive drinks (cocktails) were okay not great but better than most hotels I've stayed in, not sure about spirits and stuff as these tend to taste like petrol to me (local spirits used). The most disappointing thing was they do not do any sandwiches by the pool or baguettes/jacket potatoes etc. They have a little hut by the kids pool which have a few stale sandwiches but that is all. The evening entertainment was terrible which basically ruined our holiday as most nights we just stayed in our room with the door shut to block out the horrendous singing. Every night was the animation team no tribute acts or anything like that, which is surprising for the amount of money we paid to stay in the hotel like this you would have thought they could afford to do that. This hotel is mainly for weddings, large groups and family's with small children. I would not recommend for couples or with a friend. If you are planning to get married here I would recommend you know exactly what you are going to get before you book, as we saw up to 4 weddings on one day. Any one going round the lazy river can see a clear view into the ceremony, after the wedding the Bride and groom have to walk past the adults pool while everyone is there sunbathing. Guests from the wedding was saying they was jealous of us sunbathing and in the pool as it was so hot and everyone was sweating. One wedding reception was in the middle of the adults pool which just looked ridiculous, it was situated right next to the evening entertainment. If you are looking for a wedding to share with strangers this is for you. I would highly recommend seeing the reps to do the quad biking tour this was amazing! Overall the holiday was okay but I would never go back for the price we paid. You don't chose to go all inclusive to eat out and find entertainment else where which was what we had to result to.More
