We had asked to be relocated from another hotel and had no knowledge of this one, however we were delighted with our relocation. Our room was lovely, light and airy with a great view. The cleanliness and attention to public areas was fantastic. The restaurant was also light and spotlessly clean with a table always set and available. A good choice of food too. We travelled as a couple and it was nice that children were entertained/occupied. Sun beds always available. Well done to all staff too who we're very friendly and efficient.More

great anniversary stay
we stayed at the Mirlos from the 4th to the 18th of October, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful . There were always sunbeds available and everywhere inside and outside the hotel was always lovely and clean. Our room was 530 and overlooked the pool it was comfortable and the maid service was great. Some people were moaning about the food in the restaurant but we found it always appetising the salads are lovely and fresh and the fish and meat are freshly cooked on the griddles. All the staff work really hard and we had a fantastic holiday, we will return next year. Thank you allMore
Hotel was very clean with clean sheets and towels most days through the week. Food was a little disappointing but edible, you would not starve. Some of the staff were a little dour, not many smiles but it was coming up to the end of the season and it was mainly the bar workers and dining room folk. Entertainment crew were excellent, put their hearts into it. We would go back!More
We went for a weeks all inclusive holiday through Thomson and the hotel we got put in was the Mirlos. It was very clean, the staff were helpful, the pool was great and it was a really great holiday. I'm quite a fussy eater and don't like fish so a few nights all I had for tea was a buttered roll and some chips, but my boyfriend loved the food. It was very repetitive, but well cooked and well presented, but not much good for people who like simple things. The pool was great, some people are moaning that the shade of the hotel covers the pool too early, but this was great for us as it got quite hot and the shade was welcomed. We never had any problem getting sun loungers, though if we went out later on we didn't get as close to the pool but still got some. The entertainment wasn't too great, starts a bit late at night so people with young kids either miss part or all of the show getting the tired kids to bed. The room was a bit small for 3 ppl but for all the time we were in it, it did the job I guess. I wouldn't go back personally because of the food as I don't want to pay all that money on all inclusive and have to pay to eat out half of the holiday, but if it wasn't for that I'd def go back. Great location too.More

A Late Break, and a good one.
It is more than 30 years since my wife and I had stayed at a sol hotel (not this one) and I wish now we had found the Mirlos many years ago.We found the rooms small but clean and perfectly adequate for 2 (maybe rooms are larger if you have a cot as well?) the public areas clean and all appeared to have been renovated. The food was as good as any we have had at a ""all inclusive" and the drinks too, we liked the fact that the bar drinks although in plastic glasses were at least in substantial glasses, not the awful disposable kind we had at the last two hotels we had stayed at.As it was mid October (14th) at the start of our holiday, the hotel was quiet with no pressure on any of the resources and lots of room in all areas. What it would be like in high season I don`t know as for instance the two lifts are quite small, and there are 8 floors, but we never had to wait. The location is good, only about 3 or 4 hundred yards from the beach, and easy all level walking or to the shops/bars etc of this busy resort.Of special mention was the evening entertainment provided, even up to when we left (21st of October), only a week away from the Hotel closing for the winter, and this was superior to anything we have seen for years on this type of holiday, both by the in-house team and by visiting artistes. I would reccommend the Mirlos to couples or to families, and My wife has suggested we go again next year. (We are retired in our sixties)More
