Most enjoyable holiday
We booked this holiday a while ago and having read some of the reviews before going we were anxious to say the least. We were a party of three adults....me, my hubby and my mom. We stayed in the Palmanova II, a short transfer from the airport. We had rooms next to each other, which was reassuring. The hotel is big, bright and clean looking. Staff are polite and speak pleasantly to guests. Our rooms were on the 7th floor and big enough for us. There was a fridge to keep water in and air conditioning if needed. Simply decorated, but kept very clean by the staff every day. We particularly liked the complimentary shampoo, soap and nail care products (although we didn't use them). Towels changed everyday and beds twice a week. The dining room was big and there was always plenty of space to sit and eat,and the food was varied to meet everyone's needs. There was a full entertainment programme for both children and adults day and night and the evening shows were very good. There was plenty of choice regarding alcoholic and soft drinks and bar staff were pleasant. Now for the mini moans: 1) I would imagine that in the main/high season this hotel is full to capacity, therefore there are going to be queues everywhere. 2)Unfortunately people still feel it necessary to get up at silly o'clock to "reserve" sun loungers, which it clearly states guests SHOULD NOT do!! Guests can be seen rearranging the whole pool area to "fit" their beds just where they want, with little or no consideration to others. 3) The pool by Sol Palmanova I is bigger than the one at II, BUT it doesn't get any sun due to the hotel position. Therefore the guests from I will come to II for their sunlounger, beware. 4)If you wish to have a snack then you can only get these at Sol Palma Nova I. On the whole a very pleasant stay and somewhere we will consider going to again. More
Fantastic family hotel
We went as our first holiday abroad and couldn't have asked for a better hotel. Everything was booked via jet2holidays which was easy. Going in August the hotel was busy yet always found a sun bed, wide range of food, easy to get to the bar for all drinks. Before arriving I emailed the hotel direct to say our 11 year old was afraid of lifts to which we were allocated a room on floor 2. Everything was cleaned regularly and staff were on the go all the time. Would definitely go back. More

We have just returned from a 7 day stay with our 3 year old daughter, overall very happy with the hotel and its food! 9th floor had great views, one lift out of action on first day but was fixed the next. Yes the food was repetitive but was lovely and never went hungry! The staff always made an effort to chat to our little girl who loved it! Kids pool bit chilly but it was hot so quite refreshing ð Biggest gripe for us was miserable guests! Barely broke a smile if you passed them or in lift with them, I found this more rude than the staff! Kids disco was too late for our little one but that's our only negative. Would defiantly return More
Very pleased,Would return
I booked this hotel mainly because my young children, it was a short transfer time, Kids pools looked good, and beach is on your doorstep and the all inclusive. Was very pleased with our choice, check in took ages, the lifts are a joke, however.. I emailed my room Requirements a couple days before I got there and they really came up trumps, I wanted a low level room due to young kids, room was modern, massive and very comfortable. Massive bathroom with rain head shower, and smaller power shower. 2 TVs so the kids could watch what they wanted in bed. Fridge was great for the baby's milk. They accommodated my mum & dad next door so the kids loved that. Food was great, breakfast was typical and did get very boring, however lunch and dinner..loads of choice different meats/fish every night. Could go on and on bout the food. I was very impressed. All staff were very friendly and chatty. Evening entertainment was great, my kids loved the disco and the shows, the kids pools were shallow and safe and kind of enclosed. You do have to get up early to get a sun lounger, they opened them at 7.30 there's not many round the kids pools so if you got there late you missed out. Overall I was impressed, the only thing I would say is it is expensive but I guess you pay for the kids attractions really. Definitely not a younger couples resort. But 100% family friendly. More
