Second visit to sol Mirlos
We have just returned from a weeks holiday at sol Mirlos. Definitely 3 star hotel,so don't expect 4-5 star. The Tordos is closed for season,so we were in a third floor pool view room in Mirlos,(which I had requested in advance). Room was small,2 single beds and kids foldaway bed,so not much floor space left. The furniture is badly needed updated, our wardrobes wouldn't close over, which made the room look even more untidy. There is a TV in the room(I think I had the same one in 1985). The walls are sooo thin, that we were kept awake by snoring and talking from next door. Good points, entertainment team work really hard and try and keep kids amused as well as adult activities daily. Food was ok,lots of choice.never left hungry and no tummy upsets while there. Not great kids choices though. Our son ate chips, rolls, cheese and crackers at each meal. He is a fussy eater normally though. The hotel was quiet when we were there,so plenty of sun beds and seating areas at night. Our second time there, not sure we'd return.More

There are bars around the hotel if you want to go out and eat or drink the bus stop is a short walk across the square where you can reach all over the place. The beach is less then 5mins walk thereis a supermarket and tapais bar within 10mins walk. Great place for kids
This hotel was great for us and family with our grand children. It has a great kids interaction with the kids with " Fred, Barney and Dino" knocking about many times a day, and the Kids club to take the pressure of the kids away from you. The all inclusive service at the bars the kids could walk up and get pop ice cream slush any time they wanted gave them a good feeling of independence at no cost. Could not fault this hotel at all.More
