You get a double whammy of goings on at this action-packed duo of sister hotels. It doesn’t matter whether your modern bedroom is in the Mirlos or the Tordos – you can flit between the two whenever you like. That means you’ve got two mega pools, heaps of day and night entertainment and plenty of lounges and bars. And little ones can look forward to the brilliant Flintstones Land kids’ club, a playground and a games room. To top that off, the complex is in a quieter part of Palma Nova but it’s just a hop to the beach and resort centre.

Wouldnt Go Back
We stayed at the sol mirlos tordos in May 2013 for one week 2 adults 2 children. This all inclusive complex is 2 hotels joined together by two pools. The rooms are quite spacious and have a fridge which is handy. TV has English channels. The space around the pools is quite limited and end up with sunbeds practically on top of each other which really put me off. The pools were absolutely freezing! The food was probably one of the best things about the hotel, even when breakfast was finished they had a late breakfast which was toasted sandwiches, bacon eggs, fruits and pastries and this went on until 12, which was very handy. There was always something to eat whatever time of the day. The childrens entertainment was also very good my 7 year old enjoyed the activities and joined in every day. There was always a long line of people waiting at the bar ( they lined up like in the old fashioned clubs years ago). Most people seemed to start drinking very early in the morning and continue to drink all day and night, if they could still stand by then. We witnessed very many groups of parents very drunk whilst there children ran around. I enjoy a drink on holiday but this was just constant every day. The hotel is in good position close to lovely beach. There are not enough seats in bar area to accommodate everyone at night, not enough room around pools and too many rowdy customers. I would not return and would not recommend to anyone. We had a nice holiday but not really my kind of place, prefer somewhere with a bit more space and privacy.More

we booked a 2 week all inclusive holiday in end of july/beginning of july 2013. two adults and an 18 month old the mirlos and tordos are two separate hotels side by side and we were in a room in the mirlos. if you have a larger party then the rooms are a bit of a tight squeeze. there was another family that had two adults and two children in the same size room as us and they had to put their cot in the hall as there was no where else to put it! upon arrival we were checked in only really seemed to be two members of staff on reception so was slow going. we had booked a cot but on arrival had a bed and had to call to get it changed which was done immediately. we had a view of some dry grass from our balcony which was a bit drab but after being there a couple of night was thankful for it as all the entertainment was round the pool and with having a toddler wouldn't of wanted him being disturbed. food was ok always something to choose from, food always being brought out when it was running out we did eat out a couple of times as with all AI food does get a bit boring. always plenty of fish meat desserts salad etc to choose from. snacks were also served in the same restaraunt where your main meals were served not supposed to take food out but we sneaked a few pieces of fruit out. one of the main disadvantages of this hotel was the sunbeds. every night they got chained up all together and every morning you got people reserving their place with the chairs in the spot they wanted to be. they were unlocked at 8am and if you didn't get down for a bed early on you didn't get one. same as parasols if you wanted one you had to be down early to get one. the queues for the bar did get quite big so a little bit of a wait to get served. when you got to the bar generally you could order as many drinks as you liked, unless you wanted a 'large drink' rather than ask for two chocolate milkshakes I asked for a pint but they wouldn't give me one. but would give me two. hotel was clean and tidy, rooms were regularly cleaned. not sure what the rooms were like in the tordos but the foyer in that hotel was much better more modern. we didn't stay for the entertainment that was put on by the hotel but it did get very busy and again if you wanted chairs with a table you had to make sure you were down early enough. staff were kind and helpful, my little boy fell off the bed and banged his head on the tiled floor and I couldn't praise the young girl on reception enough who quickly attended and called a doctor for us who was there within ten mins. we also needed a linen change as on another night was sick on the bed and again were very prompt in coming to our room, there was a number you rang for any help. we used the kids club for a couple of hours in the morning which was a separate room with a foam floor and had lots of toys and they could colour etc. the hotel had its own self service washing machine a drier which we used a couple of times found that very useful as never seem to have enough clothe haha you could buy washing powder tablets at the reception, I did ask for non bio but I got a puzzled look overall it was a good holiday but we wouldn't return to this hotelMore

Fantastic holiday all round!
My partner and I stayed here for 4 nights in the beginning of October, all inclusive. The food was absolutely fantastic and there was a really wide range to choose from at all meal times. My partner can be a little fussy and he was very impressed by the choice and quality of the food. It was in a great location, being close to shops, the beach and night clubs. The entertainment on a night was good, some nights better then others! But there was plenty of entertainment on through the day also like darts, water polo and spinning! We were there when the kids had gone back to school so it was fairly quiet. I would highly recommend couples to go this time of year as I imagine it gets pretty busy during school holidays. There were plenty of drinks to choose from and if you wanted something that was not part of the all inclusive then it was half price. The room was very nice and clean, the bathroom in particular.More

Amazing first holiday together
Me and my girlfriend stayed here for our first holiday together in June 2013. The staff were all very friendly. The location was great and allowed us to enjoy walks into both Palma Nova and Magaluf. We had an all inclusive package which was great! Drinks! Snacks and meals all pre-paid! The hotel has lots of fun activities if you have children, so it would be an ideal place to take the kids with a Flintstones theme. This hotel will always be special to us and the excellent service really made our first holiday together that extra special. We both said we would definitely return!More
