This duo of hotels has 4 pools. And it’s just a short walk from the beach and town centre.

These sister hotels share everything, which means you’ll have access to 4 pools and all sorts of entertainment, whichever part you stay in – plus there are Flintstones-themed activities for kids.

Palma Nova beach is just 3 minutes away on foot. The town centre is about a 5-minute walk.

Excellent Family Hotel

We stayed here for 2 weeks in June, a party of 9 - 4 adults and 5 children aged 3-8. Having read all the previous reviews of the hotel they were quite mixed, so wasn't sure what to expect. I can safely say that all of us thoroughly enjoyed it, and would definitely return. The food, rooms and pool area are what you would expect of a 3 star hotel, which all of us were very satisfied with. The entertainment is 5 star in my opinion, the entertainment team work tirelessly from morning until night, there is something for everyone. The shows that the entertainment team perform are fantastic - Grease, Mamma Mia and Fantasia are a must watch. Also the artistes that are brought in are a good watch, Abba and Queen amongst these. Overall we had a fantastic holiday and all 9 of us didn't want to leave. We will certainly be booking here again and would recommend to anyone. More

Great Hotel and Very Clean

The Sol Mirlos Tordos are 2 Hotels under 1 name. The Mirlos shows great character and is well decorated. The Tordos (Where we stayed) could use some improvements but overall a great Hotel with great staff. Hotel is very clean including rooms. Food is delicious and lots of options to choose from. Only a couple major concern's which are : The large group of men and women here to party when this should be a Family Hotel as advertised. These tend to be the people who show no consideration what so ever for other guest on their floor. Out of 7 nights both of our children were woken up every night apart from 1 at 3/4/5 even 6am with these people returning from nearby Magaluf. Complained to Hotel Management (Annabelle) who said to let her know if it continued. This continued and so we complained again but Annabelle wasn't there and another Manageress who i spoke to showed no interest which is a shame because we would return if appropriate action was taken by the management team & the "louts" weren't here. The children's Flintstone area is brilliant for the children BUT lacks safety. Around the children's area should be the "wet rubber" flooring so that the children do not slip when getting out of the pools. A dozen or so children have injured themselves by slipping during our time here, the worse, a little boy broke his arm! The entertainment staff work really hard all day to keep the kids and adults entertained throughout the day and evening. Great Live Shows during the course of the evening the best we saw was the Grease Tribute. Official Rating is a 3 Star but i think this should easily be a 4 star hotel. Definitely worth a visit but be concious of late night noise in the Tordos if you have young ones. ****More

Never Again!

We (Myself, husband & 4 yr old boy) stayed at Sol Mirlos Tordos in June 2014 for our family holiday. We certainly would NOT return for several reasons… We had my sons bag stolen from within the Tordos Restaurant on our 2nd Day… His bag had his IPAD in it. We placed the bag under the table & it was stolen while we were up choosing our food!!!!!! I am aware the hotel cannot be blamed for this (we do not know if it was staff or other holidays makers who stole the bag) however what they can be blamed for is it total lack of help we received…. Until we requested a taxi to the local police station to report the theft that is!!! We asked at reception & restaurant at least 6 times a day if a bag hand been handed in.. to which we would receive a one word answer of ‘No’ . On one occasion a gentlemen who worked on reception did check the lost property box for us. That was the extent of Tordos help!! Rooms The rooms were very small & very dated…Beds shockingly hard! Be careful as websites use pictures of Mirlos to advertise… which is far better than Tordos.. We stayed in Tordos unfortunately! Request a low level room… as the lifts are a nightmare! Nowhere near adequate for the number of rooms/guests Food Food was ok! Nothing amazing, if you like chips… you will love it!! Breakfast (?!) Lunch & Dinner!! Entertainment When we did manage to get a seat (we wasn’t even there height of season!) Entertainment was ok. The entertainment staff certainly work hard & never did I see one without a smile of their face, so should be praised for that! But the lack of seats meant you needed to be there for around 7pm to get one… Some people had spent the whole day close to the bar so they wouldn’t struggle!! This hotel is certainly no higher than a 3*… Some reviews have stated that this hotel is better than a 5*’s they have stayed in… CERTAINLY NOT!! The only good point is the low price to stay here does reflect the 2-3* rating. You don’t get a bargain when booking this… you get what you pay for! I have never written a review for a holiday before (good or bad!) but I was so disgusted by the lack of help from the Tordos staff regarding our stolen bag.. I felt that other holidaymakers should be warned!More

brilliant hotel

just returned from a great week at this hotel, travelled with my partner and our 6 yr old daughter. We had a 3rd floor room in the Mirlos overlooking the pool, the room was cleaned everyday, beds a bit hard but apart from that it was perfect. we had no problem getting sunbeds, the best spaces go early, but we went down about 8am on the 2 days that we stayed around the pool area and got good beds. The food is also pretty good, good selection each night, always had basics such as roast chicken, pizza and different types of pasta, salad bar was good as where the choice of deserts. Entertainment at night was good, kids disco a bit repetitive, we only stayed for the shows a couple of nights but they were good and the entertainment team are fab, my daughter went to the kids club 2 days and a tea party one evening and she had a great time, decorating t-shirts and having water fights!! The drink at the bar were quite strong and you get a few cocktails free with all inclusive, everyone queues up single file which is the best way. Overall this has been a great holiday for us, We have been to Palma Nova before and would defo return to this hotel againMore

Great Hotel - Suits All Ages

Another wonderful week 27 - 4th July with family, again we were placed in Tordos I had requested pool facing and got it but floor 9, didn't bother me as nice view but would not go up that high with toddlers/pushchairs as 2 tiny lifts can be a problem at certain times. Rooms/hotel exceptionally clean, beds not best in world but it is 3* - tip put large brown blanket in wardrobe on top of mattress then bottom sheet on top to soften mattress if it bothers you to much - or drink more!! We were a party of 9 - ages from 18 - 55 this hotel is great for all ages and although with Flintstone theme and the best animation team I have ever seen! (especially enjoyed Grease) the kids pools are far enough away from other pools so you tend not to get little ones screaming around you all day! (not being mean as I have been before with toddlers and this time without) a lot of adult activities all day - again the animation team work tirelessly to give you a fun holiday, if you like a quiet place don't come here - in fact I don't think you would pick Palma Nova due to its close proximity to Magaluf. All our party couldn't fault the place and we think the beaches (2 min from hotel) are best in Europe. Love the place, hotel is so worthy of its rating all the bar staff, cleaners, reception staff are very good and if you are happy & polite to them you get same back. I noticed a lot of the staff are the same as 2 years ago which is good as at least they are used to the job and hotel cant be to bad employers (albeit Spain is going through a tough time employment wise! so they may not have many jobs to go too!) sorry forgot to mention food - if you cant find anything to eat then you have a problem! and very clean restaurant with plenty of choice and drinks on tap so you can help yourselfs to wine/lager or soft drinks whilst To summarise - it is a bit 'Butlins in the Sun' but for price and location (20min transfer, 2 hour flight from UK) idyllic beaches and very child friendly and young adult friendly (less than 10mins from the strip) I give it 10/10 and a big well done to the Mirlos/Tordos hopefully will be back next year.More
