Just got back from a 8 night stay at the sol palmanova 2 had a great time lovely clean room with great view! The hotels are big and a lot of guests this time of year waited no longer than 5 mins at busy times for a drink! Be up early for a sunbed tho I had to get up at 5am but it is what it is on our last day the hotel did put up signs telling people not to reserve sun beds before 8am was ignored tho this is the only problem we had! Kids love the entertainment we will be booking again!More
Great family hotel along with sister adjoining ,great for all ages ,entertainment good ,and the activity staff are brilliant with all ages ,we thought with the ages of our children would be hard but the enthusism of teams made it one to remember ,asked if we could book for next year ,and we hadn't,t finished our holiday . Food was well done and selection was good ,diabetic and other allergies catered for big plus as my daughter has white flour allergies ,couldn't praise enough . Rooms were good and kept wellMore
Reported faults with our room multiple times (door off hinge) cleaner kept leaving door open as it wouldn't shut! Hotel ran out of cold water on last night when in shower and scolded me then had to use cold bottled water to rinse off shampoo etc. Over crowded hotel, no sun beds available as all reserved at crack of dawn. Lots of loud music and entertainment. Not a place to chill out at all. Stick to the beaches. They are beautiful. Travelled with Thomas cook, last minute. Rep useless and even more so at the airport!! I have just returned from a weeks holiday staying in this hotel with my mum, sister and 3 children aged 12, 10 & 6. From the moment we arrived we were felt welcome and were over welded by the entertained layed on from the kids activities in the day to the evening entertainment. Also the exercise activities offered to the adults in the day were great fun. The entertainment staff do a fantastic job with a huge smile on their faces all the time, having a child who is normally shy and not keen to go off and join in was disappearing for hours at a time with cool club. The drinks and ice cream on offer in the all inclusive were fantastic, we didn't feel the need to upgrade to gold all inclusive, we it seemsed a realsalble price if you wanted the brand name drinks. My children absolutely loved being able to go up to the bar and get slush puppies, none alcoholic cocktails and many different ice cream as often as they wanted. The food on offer in the restaurant was amazing, so much to choose from, I don't believe anyone could go in there and not find something they liked. My son has a severe nut allergy and the restaurant staff were so helpful if I was unsure about a dish they would go and make sure it was safe for him to eat, this is always a worry whilst abroad but they were extremely helpful. The rooms were cleaned on a daily basic with fresh towels everyday, beds and pillows were so comfortable. We had a room in Palmanova 2 facing out over the stage and it was great to sit out with a drink on the balcony at night and watch the entertainment. The hotel is situated in a great location for shops and the beach, we would spend every afternoon on the beach which was very safe for the children. I would highly recommend this hotel for a family holiday. Thank you to all the staff at the hotel for making our holiday so perfect, you all do a great job.More
