You get a double whammy of goings on at this action-packed duo of sister hotels. It doesn’t matter whether your modern bedroom is in the Mirlos or the Tordos – you can flit between the two whenever you like. That means you’ve got two mega pools, heaps of day and night entertainment and plenty of lounges and bars. And little ones can look forward to the brilliant Flintstones Land kids’ club, a playground and a games room. To top that off, the complex is in a quieter part of Palma Nova but it’s just a hop to the beach and resort centre.

Vuisited 2nd time
5 of us went to majorca august 29th 2013,( age 47, 45, 20, 16, 17 ) we wend to callas de mallorca, and we were not happy with that hotel. so we had to choose another hotel to go to. I chose " sol mirlos tordos" i visited this hotel back in july, and it was very bussy. But it was much better in end of August, not much kids there, quieter, and the best holiday up to now. We had very clean rooms. Clean towels everyday, Nice food, it was quite repetetive, but didnt spoil our holiday, its Close to restaraunts, bars.. Clubs, beach "magaluf". The staff were very nice and friendly, we made good friends with some of the bar staff and the lifeguards. I would deffo recommend this hotel to families, and couples. I would like to go to this hotel again, but i would deffo go end of august- september, as it gets too bussy there when schools are closed. :) see you soon Sol mirlos :) More
We stayed at this hotel all inc for four nights in July. Rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked a treat. The staff were pleasant and did their best on checking in even though we had the typical moaning ranting woman in the queue behind us. We did actually get into our room early so can't see what her problem was. Must admit the lift was a bit hit and miss. We had plenty of exercise on the stairs. The pool area did get a little full but there was always seating by the bar. There was no problem when ordering drinks you could have several if you wished. The staff were excellent with the children, they came around collecting them for fun and games and were even calling them by name. We were just a couple and the children did not spoil anything. You could if you wanted go into the mirlos and have your drinks or food there. The location was excellent a five minute stroll to palma beach which was absolutely beautiful. It is also close to shops and an abundance of resteraunts if you decided to eat out. The atmosphere the whole time was excellent. Although it is graded as 3star have stopped in worse 5star hotels. Would definitely consider going back again. Palma is the place to be.More

Paper thin walls
Went to Palma Nova in October ,unfortunately school holidays were on ,fair enough it was a featured hotel for children in the sister hotel but they had closed it for the season .The food was beautiful for a 3star hotel every bit as good as 4 star that we usually use.The walls were paper thin you heard next door so vivid the lady had a dreadful cough and coughed all night ,they were early risers and tv went on at 7.30 AM and her Husband never stopped talking hardly stopped for breath. When it was time for them to go home we were happy but oh dear we got a family with a child who sgreamed at 5AM I thought oh no.Why don't they sound proof walls as its awful when you cannot sleep ,so Mirlos wont be coming back ,the one plus side was we had a gorgeous view into Palma and used to watch all the cruise ships going away sitting on the balcony ,weather was not very good ,a bit too late for Majorca. We certainly had a lovely balcony on 9th floorMore
Excelllent well organised hotel
My husband and I stayed in the hotel Mirlos for 1 week returning home on 28th October. Must stress for a hotel which was closing for the season the very next week we were really impressed. Of the many hotels we have visited this was without a doubt the best overall even beating higher grades. We will certainly be back.More

Great out of season stay
Stayed for 5 daya in October and really enjoyed ourselves. Rooms clean, staff all very friendly, great facilities and excellent location. We are an older couple so I think the hotel would be too busy for us to go in the Summer season, but even when we were there, the entertainment staff did a great job keeping the few children very busy and all seemed to enjoy themselves. There is a separate Flintstones themed area in the restaurant where the kids are made a great fuss of. We managed to find something to eat every day (and we are quite fussy eaters!). There was always plenty of fresh salad and fruit for lunch and we enjoyed the all-inclusive bar. Our only quibble would be that there are 2 very tiny lifts and we were on the 7th floor and although we only had to wait a few times during busy breakfast and dinner times, I can imagine it would be very busy with all the prams and children staying in he summer.More
