Excellent for families

As a single traveller, I was most impressed with the facilities for children in this hotel- the entertainment, dining facilities and Flintstones theme kept the kids entertained and busy whilst in the hotel. The food was, in my opinion, very good, with freshly-made omelettes at breakfast and a varied and healthy choice available. The usual chips, fried chicken and nuggets (for kids?) were available at all main meals, and I really enjoyed the local dishes- paella was delicious! My room on the first floor was adequate, but a handrail would make it easier to access the shower. Overall, very good value for money.More

Only a turkey to complain about

The title says it all the only problem we really had was a piece of turkey that was a bit undercooked but the food other wise was fantastic, lots of variations, nicely cooked food. We was all inclusive and the bar tenders did a fab job serving everyone and were very polite. The staff were lovely and welcoming. The pool area was spotless and the kids water area looked amazing (though our kids did not come on hol with us this time). life guards were around all the time and the pool was clean. The entertainment was fantastic, abba night, grease night, Disney night, whitney, phil Collins and a magician, plus bingo and quizzes. The entertainers were brill. The room was fairly small but our view was amazing. Maids kept place clean and the hotel itself was kept to a very high standard of cleanliness. Would deffo go again as right in the heart of magaluf and palma nova. Tordos hotel was shut so we was in the mirlos hotel but could still use tordos games rooms etcMore

Great first holiday for our 7 month son

we visited the mirlos a couple of weeks ago (October 12th) for a week, we were taking our 7 month old son on his first holiday with both grandparents. The hotel was recommended as ideal for families and we were not disappinted, the flintstones theme was great and made it a great holiday. The hotel is perfectly located inbetween palmanova and magaluf with just a short walk to both resort centres, it was good as we were far enough from the loud centre but close enough to walk in. There was a nice park behind the hotel .... basically walk left into palmanova and right into magaluf. The food was great, even our 7 month boy was into everything and couldn't get enough. If I was to be critical the only downfall to the hotel would be the loud guest (could not tell if it was down to thin walls or just loud guest ... Prob the latter), we may have been unlucky but we were next door to very loud guests who were up early hours of the morning most nights which was particularly hard with a little baby to settle. To be honest i suppose it's what we would have expected for the great value the holiday was! In all the hotel is great value and would highly recommend as it ticked all the boxes. More

We made a late booking to go to Palma Nova and took a gamble on this 3* AI (usually use 4* AI) as the location looked ideal. I am sure that if this hotel provided daily pool towels it would match most other 4* AI holidays we have had. The location was excellent for nights in Magaluf or fantastic beaches in Palma Nova. Would highly reccommend.More

Pretty decent hotel

Visited mid-Oct for a week as a family of 3, stayed in the Mirlos, pretty impressed with this hotel. Always something decent on offer in the restaurant, desserts particularly good. Animacion staff are excellent, especially Sandros & Marta, Reception staff helpful & efficient too. 5 min walk to the beach / bars / restaurants. Only negative I can think of was Wi-Fi @ €8/day. Overall I'd recommend this hotel but seemingly gets a bit hectic during summer holidaysMore
