The Hotel Louis Ledra Beach really impresses, thanks to chic interiors, a top-notch pool scene and a prime seafront setting.
Hotel Louis Ledra Beach sits in a prime position, sandwiched between a private sand-and-shingle beach and a parade of shops and cafés. Plus, a half-hour stroll along the seafront puts you in Paphos harbour.
The hotel definitely looks the part. Outside, there are well-kept gardens and a pair of smart pools, while inside the bedrooms showcase contemporary interiors and calming blue colour schemes.

Great out-of-season break
We were attracted to this hotel by its location and price. In all honesty, we had pretty low expectations, though other Tripadvisor reviews were very reassuring. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel but not sure it lives up to its 4* plus rating that Thomson give it. On our arrival, we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff with a selection of alcoholic drinks, cakes etc and shown to the bar where we could complete our check-in paperwork without waiting in a queue. Rooms were pleasant, nothing special but clean and bright. The air conditioning had been switched off, there was no need for it given the cooler weather in November. In room safes were expensive at â¬3/day. Minibar was restocked daily, but with off-brand soft drinks. Food was above average for a buffet, with each night having its own theme to avoid it becoming the same food every night. Guests are invited to one á la carte gala dinner each week usually served in the pool bar but was in a segregated area of the main restaurant presumably due to the temperature. The bars deserve a special mention with a very wide selection of cocktails which is unusual for an all-inclusive of this level. Cocktails were freshly prepared to order, not just in ready made bottles. The lobby bar was mainly waited, with cheerful staff and no expectation of a tip. Free wi-fi is available in the lobby area and was generally very good though I had difficulty with VOIP calls, others did not. Wi-fi in other areas of the hotel is chargeable and not especially cheap which was disappointing. The costal walk to the centre of Paphos from the hotel is enjoyable, and makes you appreciate that the hotel's beach is probably one of the best in the area. There are bus stops right outside, and a well stocked mini-market directly opposite. I think that this is an average 4* hotel and was worth the price paid out of season. It is not, however, the 4* plus experience that Thomson bill it as.More
The room looked a bit "Travelodge" no pictures on the walls, not that inviting, but it was okay,I would give the hotel, overall a rating of 3,rather then 4 stars. Excellent food ! Good service mostly, however the reception staff was a bit grumpy upon our arrival. Indoor pool: I wrote before we went that someone had complained because the indoor it was too cold.. after several complaints, they finally raised the temperature of the pool after...repeatedly telling me that it was 27 to 28C, (which it certainly did not feel like). So keep at it , they will eventually listen ! TIPS: Bus stop one block from hotel Pharmacy right across the street, as is "a sell everything including groceries" store Day trips: Hotel will not like me saying this, but right across the street is a very nice travel agency called Gozo (Sp?) through them, a trip to Nicosia costs 17 euros per person, Instead of the hotels charge of 50 euros per person. TO GET: If you can pay extra for the Balcony with a view of the sea, it is magnificent ! The Museum of Archaeology in Nicosia was quite FASCINATING.. Look for the "FEMALE CENTAUR" figurine on page 70 of the Cyprus Heritage book,: "The Art of Ancient Cyprus as exhibited at the Cyprus Museum", beautiful illustrations, not expansive. Have Fun !More
