Pools are where this hotel triumphs – it’s even got its own waterpark.
It’s all about the pools at this place. On top of a huge, H-shaped one, there’s a new pool with 6 slides, added during a refurb in 2012. Rooms had a makeover at the same time and have a fresh feel. And there's modern dining, too.
When it comes to eating and drinking, highlights include an al fresco Chinese and a Viennese café. As for location, the hotel is in a quiet spot by a small beach. Paphos harbour is less than 10 minutes by bus.

There's a trio of slides to try out, and the multi-lane one is great for a race. The waterpark is only open in the summer, from 1st May to 31st October. Just so you know, you will need to be aged 8 and 1.2m tall to ride the slides.
Great for the kids with a climbing frame, waterfalls and slides.

2nd visit to this hotel the first time being around 10 years ago. I had read reviews on trip advisor where people had complained about drinks being watered down, and reserving sun loungers. First of all the drinks were not watered down at all and yes people do put their towels on loungers but we always managed to get a sun bed poolside with no problem. The staff are absolutely amazing and work so hard and were so friendly , they deserve so much credit. The food is brill especially the Chinese buffet, gorgeous, the food in the evening was really nice and lots to choose from, from pork beef gammon, vegetarian, pie the list goes on. The animation team work so hard all day and night too. We arrived late at night to bubbly and snacks in the restaurant, went to our room to find we had been put in a twin when we had paid for a double, reception asked us to see them the following morning and they changed our room with no issues. The management were so friendly always stopping to say hello. Unfortunately my husband broke his wrist 2 days before we flew home playing beach volleyball, the staff arranged a taxi for us to the local hospital and asked that we updated them once we got back, they were brilliant and concerned, the only issue we raised was that the area where beach volleyball is played is rock hard underneath the sand ( as its man made its not all sand). We advised that if someone had hit their head it could be very serious, the Thomson rep also raised our concern and the response was " it's always been like that" well that's not acceptable really and needs looking into, they did allow us to keep our room till )6 pm free of charge which helped us a great deal. The hotel is a good 45 minute walk to the harbour but there is a good bus service for 1.50. Overall a fantastic holiday, would definitely recommend and definitely return at some point. More
First visit to Cyprus
Hotel is very close to airport so transfer time is very short. On arrival, welcomed warmly by friendly staff and offered a drink of sparkling wine or beer. Check in very swiftly completed and luggage taken to room for us.Before our departure we had requested a high level room. As we had a very late booking we were not hopeful, but were given a room on 3 rd floor with sea view which we were very pleased with. The room was quite good size with plenty of storage including a cupboard specifically for luggage which was extremely useful. The bathroom was very small but adequate. No toiletries except liquid soap. It was nice to have a balcony which we enjoyed sitting on but the two chairs were very uncomfortable. The food was varied and plentiful but my complaint was that it was never hot. At lunchtime the Chinese and Italian choice at beach bar was excellent. The Hotel was very much a family hotel with lots of young children. The staff worked hard entertaining them during the day with lots of games. There were always life guards watching round the pools. Though by 8 am there were lots of towels on sun beds there were still loungers to spare later.. We found the night club where the evening entertainment was held was extremely hot, smokey and the music terribly loud. Also the bingo always seemed to go on and on so the night's entertainment was late in starting. Our room and the surrounding was quiet except one night the noise from the Terrace Bar of loud voices went on till the early hours. There was air conditioning in the room but was not efficient and the room was always very hot. On the Terrace of the restaurant there were non smoking areas but on the Bar Terrace there were no non smoking areas and it could be quite unpleasant at times with lots of people smoking. The Hotel says it has a dress code for evenings. We were very disappointed that this was not adhered to. Some men appearing in football shirts and shorts - totally inappropriate for evenings. I would rate the Hotel 3 1/2 star rather than 4 star and more suited to families than couples. One thing must mention, is the cleanliness of Hotel. The bedroom was kept immaculate and the cleaners were busy all day long sweeping and polishing the whole Hotel.More

Great Hotel - We will be back
What a great hotel and lovely staff, we were delayed leaving the UK and did not arrive at the Hotel until nearly 1:00 am, we were greeted with a warm welcome from the staff, then told to leave booking in until we had had a meal, a beer and a glass of Champagne. When we arrived at our room we found that all our requests had been met with a large balcony on the first floor overlooking the main pool and the sea. The room was always very clean and of a very good quality "so don't take any notice of sum of those reviews" Personally we had no problem with mosquito's but I would always recommend taking plugins and some sort of spray no matter where you go in the world if itâs hot. Every member of the staff we met were friendly always speaking to you and asking how you were, as for the food Wow, this is probably the only problem area for me as it was so good that within the first weeks I had to put one pair of trousers and shorts back in the suitcase as I couldn't get them on any more LOL. Pools are extremely clean, with life guards rotating at every pool, the only down side was and this was not the hotels fault in fact they were quick to respond and resolve the problem which was some parents of small children who were not potty trained refused to put on swim nappies, they were even on sale at the hotel. Entertainment was extremely good with shows at the poolside and in the evenings, basically if you don't want to spend a penny more than you have paid, you could stay at this hotel for the whole holiday without going outside, but if like us you like to look around the excellent bus service stops outside the hotel and will take you to the harbour for a mere 1.5 Euros per person where if you want you can go further afield. So many thanks to all staff and Management at this hotel for a terrific holiday and we will be back.More
The day that was
From first arriving at the hotel until we left the welcome and the treatment by the staff was top notch. The food ,drinks etc was also of a high standard and abundant to say the least. The facilities are definitely of a good standard with plenty of sun beds available around all the pools, everything is kept clean, tidy and in good order. All in all a very good example of a quality all inclusive family hotel. We spent two weeks there this september and had our daughters wedding there. Upon arrival we were met by a welcome by the staff which made one feel right royal! The wedding day itself was conducted in a very well organised manner, with the First Choice rep pulling out the stops to make it a success, assisted in no small part by the staff, and a success it certainly was, even allowing for the fact there was only 5 of us! We wouldn't hesitate to do the same again if the need arose. Thank you allMore
