Pools are where this hotel triumphs – it’s even got its own waterpark.
It’s all about the pools at this place. On top of a huge, H-shaped one, there’s a new pool with 6 slides, added during a refurb in 2012. Rooms had a makeover at the same time and have a fresh feel. And there's modern dining, too.
When it comes to eating and drinking, highlights include an al fresco Chinese and a Viennese café. As for location, the hotel is in a quiet spot by a small beach. Paphos harbour is less than 10 minutes by bus.

There's a trio of slides to try out, and the multi-lane one is great for a race. The waterpark is only open in the summer, from 1st May to 31st October. Just so you know, you will need to be aged 8 and 1.2m tall to ride the slides.
Great for the kids with a climbing frame, waterfalls and slides.

R & R
I landed late and on arrival at about midnight at Phaethon was greeted and invited to a the restaurant for drinks reception and late buffet meal. On check in we got rooms g104/6 which were clean yet small and not a great view from the window. We had a had with the reception who said they will review at 10 am next day. My son's spoke to the team and managed to move us to 1100/1101. A bit of a walk by great sunset views from the balcony. It gets better the higher the floor and the higher the room number . All inclusive was one of the best and cannot fault the team for trying. Good variety and themes every day which repeats after 7days. There is sufficient over lap for any one who misses any meal of the day either at the pool bar or Chinese restaurant. Only one small request is to ensure a vegetarian main meal in the evening daily . We could a lentil soup and veg curry on a few days which was amazing and would have preferred something similar on the other days . The hot dessert stand with custard puds was a Great touch, not to mention the mouthwatering chocolate lava cake. The entertainment was non stop and perfect for all abilities including afternoon, evening kids and adult shows . The water park slides were busy with kids and kept the families with small kids busy at the other pool. The gym , steam room , sauna and jacuzzi were a great find . Gym was dated and made do with the other working equipment . Slav looked after us at the gym and suggest it's the best place to change shower on the last day after checkout. I thank the managers for allowing me access to the sports facilities at louis Imperial for a few hours and their great hospitality. Thank you again. One thought was if the Phaethon team could air the main football matches im the hotel, either in the theatre or setup a screen outside bar ? We had a good time and I hope to return again to better my archery score . KwaheriMore
A LOVELY HOLIDAY
A wonderful welcome and great hospitality throughout our one week stay in room g104 from 7th to 14th of September. Plenty of meal options to suit all tastes in fact everything there was plentiful from the food and drink options to the excellent activity and entertainment facilities. This is one hotel where you would never be bored, very busy yet so relaxing in places if that is your choice. The animation team are so hard working from morning until night, always happy and their shows are amazing especially the Riverdance tribute.Dido can certainly spot future talent as he has with Jordan who was fabulous in the Hairspray show. All the team are brilliant Mim Lizzy, all of them to be fair.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel and look forward to a return visit next year.More
I booked this hotel on reccomendations from a friend, it lived up to expectations and more. From the moment we set foot in the hotel ( 12. 30 am) greeted with a beer, glass of bubbly and hot meal a great start to our stay.we had a family room which was smaller than expected and bathroom even smaller but all very clean, with TV, fridge and hairdryer. Not a problem as we were out so much.food and drink superb and free flowing. Fabulous animation team, really friendly and kept lots going on all day.waterpark was fun.so close to beach and water sports.made to feel very welcome. Lovely coastal walk into paphos harbour lots to see on the way, approx 30 min walk. Downfall was WiFi free in certain areas and very slow. Will definitely recommend and plan to return next year. Great place to stay. More
An excellent hotel
Came here with my wife and son for a week. Room upgrade as requested to family room. Basic room on ground floor but had all we need including extras we asked for like travel cot, milk, kettle and bottle warmer. Food was great, lots of variety. Deserts in main restaurant was particularly great. The pool bar restaurant was one of the best of its kind I've visited. So much choice and the 4pm crepes/waffles was a nice touch. Staff were all friendly and helpful as I found Cypriot people to be in general. Grounds were spotless and very nice. A few comments: 1) mosquitos were a big problem in our room with all three of us being bitten a few times. Perhaps hotel could do more here if possible? 2) hotel is quite far out and in the heat quite hard to walk too far. We took the very efficient bus instead. Went to the harbour which was nice enough and the King's avenue mall which was Lovely. 3) the entertainment around the main pool means music and announcement amf games from 10am-5pm. So quite hard to get any peace during day! Other than this, a brilliant hotel which I would certainly visit again. More
Our first full family holiday
We have just arrived back from a fantastic holiday with my whole immediate family. We had a ball. 14 of us. The place is wonderful. The staff are friendly and helpful, everywhere is spotlessly clean, the pool areas are fabulous especially with the entertainment around the main pool. My son never came off the slides for the 1st day. There are more than enough sun beds to go round too. There is a pool to suit all ages. The food is 1st class from morning til night and the drink isn't bad too. If i had one criticism it would be the rooms, for a family of 4 they are very small but this can be forgiven seen as though you spend so little time in them due to the other facilities being so fantastic. This is by far the best all inclusive hotel ive ever stayed in. Thanks for a fantastic stay xMore
