Pools are where this hotel triumphs – it’s even got its own waterpark.
It’s all about the pools at this place. On top of a huge, H-shaped one, there’s a new pool with 6 slides, added during a refurb in 2012. Rooms had a makeover at the same time and have a fresh feel. And there's modern dining, too.
When it comes to eating and drinking, highlights include an al fresco Chinese and a Viennese café. As for location, the hotel is in a quiet spot by a small beach. Paphos harbour is less than 10 minutes by bus.

There's a trio of slides to try out, and the multi-lane one is great for a race. The waterpark is only open in the summer, from 1st May to 31st October. Just so you know, you will need to be aged 8 and 1.2m tall to ride the slides.
Great for the kids with a climbing frame, waterfalls and slides.
Thomson Kids' Club April to October
Designed for 3 to 11 year olds, Thomson Kids’ Club offers 2 hours of activities, 5 or 6 days a week. And that includes at least 3 evenings. It’s split into sections, with Tots for 3 to 5 year olds, Team for 6 to 8s, and Tribe for 9 to 11s. Best of all, most kids’ clubs activities are completely free. And outside of peak season, there are parent and toddler sessions three days a week, too. For your peace of mind, all Thomson Kids’ Club staff have advance DBS checks and hold NVQ Level 2 childcare qualifications. They’re First Aid trained, and there’ll be at least two of them on duty at all times.

Wonderful greeting with champagne, beer, juice and cakes. Food was brilliant throughout our stay and all the staff were courteous and friendly. Absolutely amazing hotel
Me and my partner stayed here from the 3rd to the 10th January. From the minute we arrived the staff were fantastic. I have Coeliac disease and the restaurant staff were amazing and so helpful, the food was good with loads of options and we were never bored at meal times. The room was cleaned daily to a very high standard and had everything we needed including a fridge. The entertainment team excelled themselves as the weather was poor so they went out of their way to organise extra activities. The waiters never left you without a drink and were friendly and helpful. Even though the weather was poor we are defiantly going to return. This is a three star hotel and is value for money. Thanks again to the wonderful staff Justine and ChrisMore

One of the Great Hotel in Cyprus you must a Holiday before you die
Louis Phaethon Beach Hotel is a wonderful Cyprus Experience and one of the best hotels in Europe where you must enjoy a holiday before you die. We stayed for one week in mid January 2016 in Room 3042. Check in was very smooth with Champagne and snacks reception. The rooms are spacious with plenty of storage, cabinets, spotlessly cleaned, comfortable beds, bright linens, fully furnished with all what you want. TV with English Channels, UK 3 pin plug points and daily maid service. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful giving you a warm feeling that they knew you for years. Food is the star attraction of the hotel. It is a food heaven with choices and every one eats at least 2 plates for every meal or snack. The restaurant service is highly organised in terms of seating, constant refilling, taking the plates away and cleaning. The Managers are visible all the time in greeting guests, checking the food stations and warmness of hot food items. We met many people who visits year after year mentioned that the food standards never dropped. The all inclusive drinks are of good quality. The bar service is brilliant and every few minutes you will see a waiter in front of you waiting to serve you in the lobby. The hotel location is seafront but a few minutes stroll away will lead you to countryside environment with colourful orange/olive gardens and farm lands. The hotel is convenient for public transport and bus stop is right in front. With a one day travel ticket for 5 Euros you can visit Paphos harbour, the Market or the old town, Coral Bay and the Kings Avenue Shopping Mall and many other places. We also went on a Day trip to Nicosia and Lemersol. There is also a free trip from the hotel to the lace market. The pack lunch boxes are available on request and it is good enough for the whole day. The animation team and the day and night entertainment are brilliant. The pool area, sun beds and the water slides are all empty due to January weather and the indoor pool and Gym are not very busy. The free WFI works very well in the lobby and bar areas. We will definitely visit again on a long stay because Louis Phaethon beach hotel is the real outstanding definition for All Inclusive and the Manager Mr. Yiannis Ioannou is always in the front line to make sure that you enjoy every minute of your stay.More
A Must To Visit
Returned yesterday from a week at this hotel. It is amazing. We were greeted on arrival with a choice of champagne, juice, beer with cakes and biscuits to keep us going after our journey. The staff are all courteous, friendly, and can't do enough for you. After a hiccup on arrival when we were given a double instead of a twin room, it was sorted out without any problem to us. The meals were lovely, and my expanded waistline bears testimony to them. Will definitely b4e going there again.More
