Poolside action is covered at the Hotel Best Tenerife. There’s a huge pool that snakes through landscaped gardens. Plus there’s a waterfall, two whirlpool baths and a pool bar. Kids get a paddling pool, too. That aside, the hotel has spacious, air-conditioned bedrooms, and a buffet restaurant that dishes up British favourites like Sunday roasts. As for the beach, it’s roughly a ten-minute walk away.

Excellent hotel and staff
Reading some of the reviews for this hotel made me wonder if they were in the same building. We have just had a week all-inclusive and have been bowled over with the quality of product and service. The room was large, clean and all the fittings were fully functional. The staff were always attentive and successful in their efforts. Food was simply brilliant compared to a stay 1km away in October where we were underwhelmed (see my other review). The gym was excellent, albeit rather under-used by guests! Looking forward to a return trip, possibly this time next year.More

We have just returned from a week, all inclusive. The reception staff on arrival were helpful and friendly. Our room was very clean, and remained that way after the maids visit every day. The restaurant service was efficient, and we were always seated very quickly. Although the meals got a little repetative, the quality was good, The sunbed problem, as in finding one if you dared sleep in was rather annoying, so it was a question of doing as the others do, get your towel out! The only negative was the hotel is in need of a bit of tlc. The general decoration is rather tired, and the lighting, specially in the Piano Bar left alot to be desired, very dark, I counted 13 lights which were not working. We had a relaxing stay however, with a little attention to detail, we may visit again.More

We have just returned from a family (10) all inclusive week. Two of the party are coeliac and require gluten free diet. The chef (Marc) came to our table every day to ask what gluten free meals were required. He was fully aware of the dietary needs of a coeliac. Marc then personally served these meals which were excellent. The AI meals were also varied and of high quality. The planted conservatory area leading to the dining room was very pleasant. The location of the hotel is good and central. Some of the carpets on bedroom corridors looked dated. This was our first visit to Tenerife, we liked it very much, and will most likely return to this hotel.More
Well just got back from a weeks holiday at the Best Tenerife, we went on an All Inclusive basis with First Choice. The hotel its self is a bit tired and in need of a make over but that aside we still made the best of our holiday. The AI was good value with plenty to eat and drink At the pool bar the drinks were self service which was really good you just went and helped yourself to soft drinks, beer, wines and spirits The service and waiters in the other bars was very good The rooms were clean and tidy and the maid service excellent The food was above average with plenty of choice but found the restaurant very busy and you can see why the head waiter takes you to your table or there would be mayhem The location is top notch central to all the bars and restaurants in Las Americas Entertainment in the hotel was poor Reception staff were very helpful and professional Would go back but I think they need to spend some money on the place to fetch it back to the standard it was in some years ago when it was the PrincessMore

Good all round
-Perfect Location -All inclusive food had excellent choice and variety (different food/meat cooked on a visible grill to your personal recommendation at every meal time. -Pool area and sun loungers are laid out well with a good amount of sunbeds -half of pool unheated, pretty chilly but refreshing on the hot days -Rooms cleaned to excellent standard every day -Superb range of drinks at dinner time, all free to all inclusive -Various bars to get more free drinks -Poolside bar and snacks are very good with snacks being cooked for you -Staff are attentive and helpful (especially restaurant) Only negatives Visual appearance. Hotel could do with a refurb but this is the same with nearly all other hotels in the area (all built around the same time) Little things could be done to make the hotel more visually appealing, corridors had been scraped by maids trolleys and could do with a re paint and also room doors are looking a little old with tatty edges (once again from maids trolleys) Other than this the hotel is excellentMore
