Hotel Best Tenerife

Loading

This hotel has one of the best pools in Playa de las Americas. And it’s only a 10-minute walk from town and beach.

The pool here is a showstopper. Set in tropical gardens, it’s a lagoon number and comes with a waterfall and poolside bar. There are 2 more bars inside, plus a buffet restaurant.

Step outside the hotel and you’re only a 10-minute walk from Las Vistas beach, and about the same from the bars and clubs in the centre.

Excellent Hotel

We went to the Best Tenerife for 2 weeks last November to celebrate my Partners Birthday on 26/11/2013 and enjoyed it so much we have booked 2 weeks again this November and will be arriving 23/11/2014. We are really looking forward to going back again and can thoroughly recommend the friendly Staff, food was very good and a nice selection, and the pools lovely and clean. Lovely!

Me and my partner stayed here in September 2012, we had both been to Tenerife previously in different hotels. The hotel was lovely, very clean and staff friendly. In a good location close enough to everything. Food lovely always enough choice. Loved the photographer round the pool we got a lovely photo while in the pool:-) never a problem getting sunbeds and rooms were ideal. Only problem although slight was nothin allowed in the pool such as lilos or balls etc although a few people were playing with balls when we did it the lifeguard was abit of a killjoy! Would definitely recommend this hotel if your looking for an all inclusive hotel which provides for everyone. More

Busy Hotel, great for families

Just returned from Tenerife, when we landed we couldn't find the Thomas Cook rep, we had to ask their competitors where they might be, they were actually as far away from arrivals as they could be without being outside, they sent us back to where we had come from to find the coach. This hotel is not that far from the beach, however, the best beach is down near the Mare Nostrum hotel, but beware, on this beach it costs 12 euros for 2 beds and a parasol per day, so if you are planning going to the beach, you'll need at least that and probably more for food and drinks etc, on the plus side there is a nice breeze, on to the hotel, there are 2 pools, one is very shallow and only suitable for children or non swimming adults, the other pool should be deeper, as its only about 5 feet at the deepest, and we felt this could have been adults only. There are a couple of jacuzzis, the deeper one was used by all, including unsupervised children as young as 3 years old, screaming and jumping into what we thought should be adults only. Towels are charged at 1.20 euros per towel per change if you need one, plus a 10 euro returnable deposit, its cheaper to buy a towel locally, if you are planning on reserving a sun bed by placing your towel on it, be early as the prime positioned beds were taken up before 7 am, and be warned the pool area cleaner makes no attempt with his cleaning down hose not to saturate your towels and sunbeds. Having moved rooms twice due to the excessive noise, we would recommend a sea view room but not 6th floor, due to air conditioning motors we assume on the roof, making a very loud consistent and annoying noise. The rooms are very adequate but would benefit from tea/coffee making facilities. The in room safe costs about 2 euros a day plus a deposit for the key, our safe needed to be pressed very hard otherwise it wouldn't open. Once again here we are at a hotel that publishes a dress code for evening dinner, being men to wear long trousers, why publish this and not enforce it, we saw most men in shorts and even swim wear without being challenged. The food was generally very good but would have benefited by being warmer and on occasions not so over cooked and dry. For cheese lovers you will be very disappointed, it looks good but tastes of absolutely nothing. We asked one evening could we have tea or coffee with our evening meal, but were told we could only have wine, beer, soft drinks or water, which we found ludicrous. For those wishing to use WiFi be prepared for long periods where there is no internet anywhere in the hotel, which can be very frustrating, especially if wanting to catch up with relatives etc. Evening entertainment, what's that? what we saw was appalling and very amateurish to say the least, we have seen better karaoke, and X factor rejects could have done a better job, so not only were we subjected to very loud music it was also very bad. It was difficult to follow what day time entertainment was available due to the animation team's poor English and a bad PA system distorting all they said. As far as all inclusive is concerned, this is not an all inclusive hotel, having to pay extras for some drinks, some coffees, towels and the safe. Overall the hotel could do with a refurbishment, we been to worse, but just a lick of paint to give it a cosmetic make over would give a better impression. We wouldn't return to this hotel, but that's our choice as we prefer to ring the changes, the worlds is a very big place, we would recommend this hotel for families not couples. For those going to Tenerife be sure to be careful in the sun, its very deceiving especially when overcast we saw many very sunburned people, use a high sun factor if you are prone to burning, and if you are planning on going on excursions look around for good prices don't be taken in by your rep, also if you want to eat out, restaurants off the main strip are about 50% cheaper than those on the main strip, try La Karinas, its a great place, good food, good sevice, good price, have a good holiday.More

Very good

Stayed here AI for a week, staff very friendly, hotel was ok, food could have been better, but saying that there was always something you could eat, cheese toasties from the pool bar were really nice, The main part of this hotel is the pool area, with rope bridge and waterfall, all in all a very good relaxing holiday in the heart of it all.More
