This hotel has one of the best pools in Playa de las Americas. And it’s only a 10-minute walk from town and beach.
The pool here is a showstopper. Set in tropical gardens, it’s a lagoon number and comes with a waterfall and poolside bar. There are 2 more bars inside, plus a buffet restaurant.
Step outside the hotel and you’re only a 10-minute walk from Las Vistas beach, and about the same from the bars and clubs in the centre.

Great location, Terrible food
Stayed here the week of 24th jan 2016. Definitely not a 4 star hotel as rated by Thomas Cook i would suggest 2 star. The location of the hotel is the only redeeming quality of this establishment! Perfect for shops, beaches and restaurants with actual edible food! The pool area however was nice but every now and then there was a whiff of sewage or something which wasn't pleasant. The kids pool was 'heated' but my kids were still turning blue after being in for few minutes. Most staff seemed pleasant if a little rude sometimes due to the language barrier, elvis was great made a huge effort with every guest kids loved him. The rooms are very basic, on arrival we were placed in the family suites, which are down in the dark dingy basement, did not feel very safe walking the dark corridors down there and there was black mould all over the bathroom ceiling. However on speaking to reception we were moved to a room on a higher floor which was much brighter even if it did stink of cigarette smoke. Walls are paper thin and this doesn't help when other rooms are blaring their TVs at all hours of the night. Definitely like an old folks home in January also, kids are very outnumbered by grumpy, rude elders. The food is pretty much inedible it's the same food for lunch that's reused for dinner, we ate out as soon as my 5yr old started vomiting violently on day 2 after a hamburger at lunch. Definitely recommend the area but not this particular hotel!!More
Well, where do I start? First of all this hotel was one big construction site when we stayed here in August. They were renovating the lobby, which was one big mess the whole time, not to speak about the noise that came with it. Not seldom we woke op around 7:30 because of construction noise. When we politely complained the reception just snuffed and shrugged their shoulder. Next to that, nobody could or would tell us for how many days or weeks more these chores would take. I spoke to two tour operator reps who were working in the hotel and they told me the hotel wouldn't/couldn't even tell them how long the works would take. Then there was the food. Sure, this will always be a matter of taste, but the food in Best Tenerife was bland and often barely tepid. Staff started clearing the table when you had barely finished your last bite. Staff also started closing the restaurant 10-15 minutes before closing time, so you could forget about a relaxing dinner. I can't say the staff were rude, but they surely weren't very friendly either. We went out for dinner frequently as a result. The rooms are ok at most. They're spacious and clean, but very dated and in need of renovation. Bathrooms are lacking a toilet brush. Summarized this is definately not a 4 star hotel. I have stayed in 3 and even 2 star places that were a lot better than Best Tenerife.More
Brilliant entertainers, very welcoming staff! Would recommend to anyone! Rochelle, Elvis & Mike were brilliant throughout the stay, did everything they could to please the kids & made sure we were all having fun with different activities, asked us to do the 'cha cha slide' in the reception with them like a flash mob kind of thing before we left for our plane. A lot more i could say but you'd have to stay there to know what i mean! Became quite close to a lot of the staff there as well which made it harder to say good bye! Defiantly be staying in this hotel again whenever i'm in Spain! More
Been back 3 weeks & already booked to return!
Not long returned form our 2nd stay at this hotel & cant wait to return! The hotel is in an ideal location, just 5 mins from the beach, a small supermarket & shop just outside, plenty of shops, restaurants close to the hotel. The staff are lovely, extremely helpful & friendly. Our first day was the day of the 'Three Kings' festivities having experienced the festivities at both Los Gigantes & Los Cristianos in recent years we asked reception (William) for advice on how best to get to Los Gigantes from the hotel, we were advised that many of the roads could be closed ready for celebrations about to take place, travel could well be very time consuming and we might not make it in time for the celebrations, when asked if they knew of somewhere other than Los Cristianos he spoke with his colleague on duty he said that the Three kings were to arrive at Adeje Municipal football field and where about the procession was scheduled to end, when asked if he would mind writing the name of the Church in Adeje so we could try to hail a taxi, he wrote a message to the taxi driver asking him to drop us as close to the name of the church as possible so that we could enjoy the festivities. We were overwhelmed by their helpfulness & went on to have a fabulous evening. The restaurant has plenty to choose from morning, noon & night. The menu appears to repeated weekly but there is so much to choose from and the quality is lovely, lots of fresh cooked food on the pass, omelettes and eggs in the morning, meats & fish at lunch and evening meals. the food is not always overly hot but is at a perfectly acceptable serving temperature, there is a microwave available for those who would prefer their food hotter. Again, the staff are all friendly and very efficient. The bars all have self serve facilities for all inclusive customers with plenty to choose from. At the pool bar/cafe you are able to order freshly cooked burgers, hot dogs, toasted sandwiches & fries. we were advised that as all inclusive customers the bar/cafe food was not available whilst the restaurant was operational (understandable really, they are evidently trying to reduce possibility of wastage in the restaurant) The rooms are basic but have everything you need for a comfortable stay, nice firm beds, Tv with plenty of channels available, Small fridge, Hairdryer, aircon, little hotel shampoo & shower gel etc (lovely touch) Our room was lovely & clean when we arrived and continued to be cleaned everyday, towels were changed when left in the bath as requested, lovely ladies always said good morning & obviously work very hard. The pools are lovely but only the childrens pool is heated, plenty of sunbeds available, most of which appear to be new based on last years visit. our only problem regarding sunbeds, people cramming beds in as close to the pool as possible, which left barely any access to the childrens pool. In the morning the sunbeds are all laid out really well, allowing access all around the pool areas, unfortunately selfish holiday makers move them all around and turn the outdoor area into an obstacle course! blocking access to the outdoor refreshment area & pools. Towels are removed from sunbeds after an hour & rightly so! It sure as hell doesn't take 3 hours to go grab a bite to eat or nip up to your room but many throw a towel on a sunbed and disappear for most of the day, expecting it to be ready and waiting for when they finally return. The hotel has evidently undergone a few changes in the last year, a new lift from reception to the restaurant/pool level, self service bar area in the entertainment area, new sunbeds, just to name a few, all of which have made for a lovely stay & we cant wait to return... already booked for next year! First stay at this hotel, and very pleased with all aspects, after many years of staying in other hotels this one has been a pleasure. All members of staff are helpful and friendly and a special thank you to the children's entertainers.More
