Hotel Best Tenerife

This hotel has one of the best pools in Playa de las Americas. And it’s only a 10-minute walk from town and beach.

The pool here is a showstopper. Set in tropical gardens, it’s a lagoon number and comes with a waterfall and poolside bar. There are 2 more bars inside, plus a buffet restaurant.

Step outside the hotel and you’re only a 10-minute walk from Las Vistas beach, and about the same from the bars and clubs in the centre.

Just returned to chilly England after a week at the Best Tenerife. (Two adults and two teenage children.) OK, so there were a few shabby parts to the hotel such as damage to the walls along the corridors, but what can you expect when hundreds of guests are crashing their suitcases into the wall! One of the sockets in our kids' room was a bit dodgy and I can't say the bed was that comfortable (We do have THE comfiest bed at home so hard to compete) but on the whole we had a brilliant week. The food was delicious and varied and we ate far too much! Definitely got good value on our all inclusive deal. It was great having self-service on the drinks, saved having to stand in a queue and be served by over-worked bar staff. The hotel was clean and constantly being cleaned. The staff were friendly and helpful. The piano bar was lovely to chill in before or after a meal . The evening entertainment was pretty poor and there were not enough tables and chairs outside for everyone. The hotel is in a great location and all in all we had a lovely week and would visit again.More

Brian,gaby,Alex,tania are best in tenerife

Stayed here twice now 2years ago and 11/8/14 for 2weeks but this time was the best. I had a new refurb room 300 which was good to see as the hotel is a bit dated. Food was good, but could be better. BIG BIG SHOUT TO BRIAN,ALEX,GABY, AND TANIA for making this holiday the best 2 weeks I've had in tenerife they made this a really great time for Gary,Kim,Jason,MIkee and nan. We could not get enough of them all as without them the holiday would not have been the same the games they played were excellent. Gaby and Tania was really great with the kids and I have never seen a better animacion than these 2 girls which had so much energy they did not stop form morning to night trying to please all the kids at the kids club. Alex what a star this man is great at the water aerobics he got everybody in the pool doing his moves and we could not stop laughing, he was here 2 years ago when I stayed but wasn't here last year which is why we did not come back as we read some bad reviews and did not see a review with his name in it so went elsewhere. Brian is like his twin he got everybody going I don't know where these guys get there energy from but if you want a great holiday and you have kids I would recommend for sure. So if the hotel manager is reading this please please please please please take note if you lose this team your hotel would not be the same take a look at last years staff that you had doing this job I read the reviews and was disappointed which is why I did not come back but I glad I came this year as I did not want to go home. The reception staff were also very helpful. The bar staff also great I was all inclusive and only had to pay for slush, I loved the toasties. The dinning staff were great always happy to help you to your seats. Again when I read some reviews about the staff I was shocked as when I got there this was false so if you are still reading don't believe in all that you read just holiday makers with high expectations it is what you make of it and we had a really really great time. BRIAN GABY ALEX TANIA IF YOU READ THIS PLEASE LET ME KNOW THAT YOU ARE HERE NEXT YEAR AND ILL BE BACK. ALSO HENRY,JACK,MATT,LIAM,TOM,KIM,SHANNON,KIERAN, AND ALL THE OTHERS THAT I HAVE MISSED YOU ALSO MADE THIS HOLIDAY THE BEST AND ILL BE KEEPING IN TOUCH AND HOPE YOU DO TO SORRY FOR SHOUTING. HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL VERY SOON GARY GARY GARY JASON DERULO MIKEE MIKEY KIM NANMore

A week away!!!!

We have just come back from a week away here. The hotel was clean and the rooms were a good size and clean also. I found the staff to be friendly and welcoming. We found the entertainment at night to be very boring, it was mostly for children. Also there wasn't enough chairs for you to sit on to watch the entertainment so you have to get a seat by half 8 or use a sun lounger. If you want a sun bed (during the day) then you have to reserve it with a towel at 6am ish ,as there aren't enough sun beds for the amount of people staying at the hotel. The hotel is located in a great area close to beach which are sandy, shops, and only a 2 minute walk to main road .Over all we had a good time .More

We stayed here from 8th August to 19th of August. 5 adults and 2 children (one in a wheelchair). The hotel was not luxurious but comfortable - pretty much in line with the rating. The food was adequate but did get boring towards the end of the holiday (we were not always sure what was all Inc. and what was excluded). The staff were all helpful and polite with exception of one chap on reception - very rude and argumentative (some 17 year olds were given adult wrist bands under parents consent, however when I asked for my son I was told that this did not happen. Not a big issue but the hotel should be consistent). The location of the hotel is very good for shops, beach and restaurants (useful when the food at the hotel became boring). The self serve drinks are a good idea.......and I was surprised that it was not abused!!! If you have a pool facing room, expect loud music until 11:30. The main problem with this hotel is the ridiculous behaviour of people around the pool. The hotel has a policy of not reserving sunbeds (see picture down loaded). However if you wish to sit by the pool, you have to reserve a bed around 6:00am, any later and you will be in the least desirable spots). There is no etiquette around the pool, people are rude, obnoxious and have no care for others, including the disabled. On one occasion a group decided to position their sunbeds in the only access way to the pool, making it impossible to get the wheel chair to the pool. Resolved with an argument but this should not have happened in the first place. In summary, the pool area cannot cope with the number of guests the hotel can accommodate. Generally a good holiday but I would consider room only and make better use of the local restaurants next time.More

Not a 4 star hotel

Got back Tuesday from this hotel had a week there with my family firstly had to change rooms as all our rooms on 1st floor were terrible got moved to 6th floor... Much better even nicer corridors... Only problem was I left my watch and earrings in the first room number 155 do not go to this room it's awful anyway they went missing... I didn't get them back and reception staff did not care....also you have to get up in the early hours of morning to get sun beds... Entertainment were lovely although evening entertainment was rubbish!!!!! Location brilliant!!!! Bar staff by pool were lovely it's very clean.... Food is predictable.... If you go there book a suite they r lovely and have a brilliant view... Do not book first floor it's awful needs up dating... Do not leave valuables in your room they will be stolen.... I wouldn't go there again but did have a lovely holiday...More
