Could Not Fault This Fantastic Hotel
Me and my girlfriend booked a budget holiday for our first holiday abroad back in October 2016 as it fell on my birthday. We are a young couple and we were both amazed that this hotel is only rated a 3*. Neither of us could fault it at all bearing in mind we arrived during the off peak season. The rooms were light, airy and spacious not to mention impeccably clean with a daily maid service, however if you didn't want them in everyday you could leave a hanger on the door. The bathroom was spotless and contemporary designed with a beautiful walk in wet room style shower. On arrival the staff were extremely polite and helpful giving us every piece of information we required about the hotel schedules and they were more than happy to answer our questions during our stay for directions and bus information etc. They were very easy to understand and spoke great english. The pool was fantastic for all ages, with a toddler and baby pool available. Next to that was what i would call the main pool which at the deepest was 1.5 metres and another area connected by a waterfall which is what i would call the adult area which had a depth of 1.8 metres. During our stay there was never a time that a sunbed was not available, this could be due to the time of year that we went however the hotel was still rather busy for October. The hotel is not directly central to the beach but this was not a problem, as they offered a free mini bus that dropped you off right in front of it and always run regularly. If the bus was not outside, the actual walk to the beach (and the town) from the hotel was only around 5-10 minutes through a pleasantly quiet little neighbourhood. For me and my girlfriend, we enjoyed the walk but could see why they offered a bus- as for families with buggies/young children it could tire them out or be quiet a distance to carry belongings. The man that drove the bus was always happy and helpful, especially to families and helped with the loading and unloading of prams into the luggage hold, and we tipped him on many occasions. The beach itself was gorgeous, with lovely white sand and crystal clear water. Sunbeds were available to hire at a very reasonable price for the day - which included your own coded locker within the parasol. We chose to go all inclusive and were not disappointed. The food varied every night so there was always something for everyone to enjoy. During the evening on selected nights there was a member of staff on the grill cooking different meats and fish fresh. The bars had varied spirits and alcohol selections which meant you could always have something different every time, and the staff were definitely not stingey with their measures and were always happy to mix them for you. However lager and cold beverages were on a self service basis with no limit. In the main bar area, there was an ice cream freezer available during the day which was a nice touch and which we felt perfect for families with children to help themselves as and when. There were activities and entertainment available during the day such as, football, volleyball, water aerobics, polo, mini golf, kids club, pool and tennis. The evening entertainment was suitable for everyone and the entertainment team were bubbly, fun and always seemed to be enjoying their roles. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice for anyone and everyone who is after a nice, comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere and could not come more highly recommended by us. We will certainly be revisiting in the very near future. We hope this detailed review is helpful to anyone considering this as their next holiday destination. Ross & Lucianne :) XMore
Good family hotel
Good hotel. Two big pools but you do have to queue each morning to make sure you get some sun beds. Plenty of choice of food with additional kids section. The free bus runs regular and takes you into town although it is walkable distance. We had a fantastic holiday and would recommend to other families. More

The grounds were kept clean and tidy. Rooms where exactly what i expected, basic features, but perfect for our stay. The air con worked nicely too Food Everyone seems to complain about the food on here, so here's my opinion. It's what you pay for, it's good, there is a variety, but at the end of the day it's a 3* Hotel. I felt if the food was better quality (as they seemed to focus on quantity more) it would have been a 4* Stay Drinks All drinks where on a 'help yourself' basis. I loved the Sangria, but the other wines were quite pitiful. My boyfreind tried the beer and wasnt a fan. There was lots of soft drinks to choose from but a bit disappointing there was no cocktails. Staff Excellent. No request was too difficult. The animation team seemed overworked, yet had so much enthusiasm for their job All around a nice holiday, if I was to go away with my boyfriend again, i wouldn't return as it seemed for family based.More

If you love mosquito's, this is your place!
This hotel is an average family hotel. It has two pretty big pool gardens, one big dining room, a small old gym that really needs an update and big lake next to it and that´s why of all the mosquito's. I went here for 2 weeks in end of August 2016 with my husband. We were hoping for a comfy hotel to relax at with good food but can't really say that´s what we got. THE ROOM We got an apartment in what I think was the older building, we had to walk through the garden to get to it from the lobby. We were on the 5th floor and the elevators were almost always broken or the one that worked was so slow we didn't have patience for waiting for it. I really felt sorry for the older people that were there and couldn't really walk up the stairs. The apartment itself was pretty big and bright but we got the morning sun on our balcony. The furniture were so old it was like in a grandma's summer house in there. The bed in the bedroom were two old mattresses on a bench and the spring just stood out so it was impossible to sleep in it. In the living room there were two sleeping sofas which we actually preferred to sleep on instead the bed. They were very stiff and hard, but so much better than the bed. There was a small kitchen with most equipment which was kind of weird since we had the all-inclusive package. The bathroom size was rather small and the toilette looked very old and the bath seemed like it was very dirty, like it was just old fat that was stuck in the bath. I also noticed the door to the bathroom was very dirty and it didn't seem like the housekeeper never cleaned the door. But they usually kept our floor pretty clean. THE FOOD The breakfast was always the same, typical english breakfast, breads, yogurts and stuff. What I think it lacks is oatmeal and some multigrain breads. They had sometimes packages but they weren't good. Lunch and dinner usually had good variants of both fish, meat and pasta and vegetables and salads so you could usually find something to eat. I think overall the food was pretty good compared to that it's a buffet style every day. GARDEN & POOL As said earlier they have two pool gardens, the main garden I think is more louder than the one across the street. There is some entertainment in the main garden each day so I think most child families prefer to stay there. Also there are no sun beds there if you come down after 10am. I noticed from my balcony that people started queuing from 8 oâclock to go to the main garden (it opens at 9am) to get sun beds! I couldn't believe that people wanted to queue for that! Me and my husband usually went to the other pool as there were much more sun beds over there and not as many kids with loud noises. THE GYM I used the gym every day cause I like to be active before relaxing in the sun. The gym room size is rather small but itâs okey if there are not more than 4 people using it at time. They have some free weights that are little old, some a little rusty, but do their jobs. There was one multi-functional weight machine there that didn't work and 3 warm up bikes/ elliptical machines but I think only the biked worked. And they were so old.. I just didn't dare to use them. But it was nice there was wall bars there. In the gym there was sauna and a hot tub but not sure if they worked. It said there on the wall they costed I think 5 euros per hour⦠THE BAR There was a bar with beer, red, white, sangria and sodas that you had access to in pool garden across the street. They had some snacks there also, burgers, hot dogs, chips, salad and fruit. The main hotel bar was though in the main garden, where you could get stronger drinks. I donât know if they made good cocktails, I usually just had red, white or sparkling wine. But those drinks were all very good and the beer tasted fine as well. THE ENTERTAINMENT It seems to be the same program from week to week in the evening. It was okay but nothing that I wanted to watch each evening. We usually just took some drinks up the apartment and watched TV or read books. Overall itâs a fine hotel for families with kids, but I wouldn't recommend this to couples at all. But I guess if we had gotten a better room where we could actually sleep, this wouldn't have been so bad.More
Stayed at Six Lagotel in May 2016 with family and friends. The pools are lovely if a little cold. The hotel is in a nice area within walking distance of an amazing white sandy beach. Entertainment isn't that great but kids all enjoyed it. Would go back again ...More
