Good for families

Me and my boyfriend stayed in this hotel last year and it was great for a first holiday. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. It was a short distance to the sea front and there was lots so do. The food was a bit disappointing as it was the same every day but I think this was because we went just before the holidays officially started so on our last day as we noticed more people arriving, the food options got better. I would recommend this hotel to families or to young couples who want a cheap get a way.More

August 2014:)

7 of us stayed in Lagotel on the 19th of August 2014 for 2 weeks. We had a wide range of age groups (30's, teens and younger children) and found that there were activities to cater for all of us and these were put on by the fantastic animation team, especially Fabian. These included archery, pool activities and rifle shooting. Both pools were fantastic, but we preferred the pool in the hotel rather than the one across the road. Food; all meals were fantastic there was always plenty of choice. Breakfast was lovely and always had the traditional english breakfast stuff on offer. Evening meals always had a 'speciality' such as ribs and paella. Evening entertainment was good, some nights better than others but we loved the BINGO that was on every night! Only 5 euros a strip and good cash prizes especially in August. Overall, excellent holiday and would recommend especially for families.More

A true all inclusive experience

We stayed at the Lagotel for the last nine days of the season in October and loved it. The food was varied the hot food was always hot and the cold food was always cold and beautifully presented, although some items weren't labelled. When the restaurant closed the snack bar opened, so if you go hungry at this hotel its your own fault. I was initially sceptical about going all inclusive, as we are not big drinkers and I hate drunks, but we never saw anyone abuse the self serve alcohol. All of the staff were polite & helpful, with the bar staff arranging a cake for my son-in-laws birthday. The walk to the beach was lovely, just a stroll away. I would recomend pool side accommodation if you don't mind the noise from the evening entertainment as some nights we sat on our balcony watching the shows. But what impressed us most was the true meaning of 'all Inclusive' there were a number of families with teenage special needs children. Every evening they helped to call the bingo, went on stage with the cabaret acts, Joshua was known by everyone and even had his own name badge, during the fab Barlow to Buble tribute he had two men lift a wheelchair bound teenager onto the stage to dance with them, it was amazing. Have booked for two weeks this year alreadyMore

Lagotel oh la la

I stayed in Lagotel 2 yrs in a row now and I enjoyed it, The first year I went it was with my family and the second year I went was with my family and friends. We had a poolside view AMAZING and the rooms were after being done up compare to the first year we stayed with just family!! The food could of been better e.g cucumbers were gooey and the carrots taste like plastic (no offense) but otherwise everything was alright. The entertainment in the night time was excellent aswell as the bingo although never won anything in the 2 years I stayed!! There was a pool that was more private right across from the Lagotel that was only for people staying in the hotel and there was bike up for rent just outside the door of the reception entrance. The beach was like a 15 minute walk from the hotel itself and the shops were alright you would get what you needed and that, the walk wasn't long at all and on the way you would see pony land with little ponies you could ride and a parrot to keep yah entertained also you would get some bouncy castles on the way to jump on I think you had to pay for them though.other than that the complex itself was good and clean.More

Brilliant holiday but take mosquito repellent lots of it!

My family and I went to Majorca for 10 nights and stayed in the lagotel hotel which is in playa de muro in September/ October. The holiday didn't start off very well with transfers taking 3 hours to reach our hotel but when arrived we were booked into are rooms straight away and told with us arriving so late we'd missed evening meal but they'd layed out a selection of foods in the restaurant if we were hungry. We were all inclusive and the food each day was of good quality and while I'm increabile fusy everyone else enjoyed the food each day. The pool is great but be warned it's freezing when you first step in but that didn't stop us. The nighttime entertainment was brilliant every night and after 12 the hotel was quite however the hotel is right next to a lake and that attracts a lot of Mosquitos all 5 of us came home with dozens of bites which still haven't healed yet so I would recommend getting the tablets and the sprays, candles and plug ins didn't help. All in all we would go again.More
