Exceeded expectations 24-31 March 2014

We left Stansted mid-morning and by late afternoon we we were booked in, swimming in the pool, sun bathing and looking forward to our evening meal! The room on 7th floor was spacious, clean and overlooked the pool with a view of the sea. The beds were comfortable. We always chose a table around the corner of the very pleasant terrace restaurant. There was always a good variety of food at every meal and we found it difficult to decide what to choose. The quality of the food was good as was the standard of presentation. The kitchen staff appear to take great pride in their work. All the staff whether on reception, in the restaurant, around the pool, bar staff and cleaners were friendly and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. The pool is kept spotlessly clean and was a very pleasant temperature. The hotel is located a short walk to the exceptionally clean beach. This is a quiet, very well run hotel and is the place to stay if you want a relaxing break to unwind. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will probably return one day. John and Elaine T Essex.More

first visit not disappointed

Hotel marvellous so clean, food amazing lots of choice all very fresh, rooms lovely and comfortable.staff polite and helpful , only thing was we had room 421 which has trees infront of balcony so not much view of pool . Terraced resteraunt lovely but didnt like the fact that they allowed smoking in half of it and smoke smell drifted across whole area also drifted into indoor dining area and showbar.More

Perfect to relax

I can only really echo all the good reviews. Hotel spotlessly clean, food excellent and varied and staff who look after you well and are friendly. Close to the beach and we walked about 5 miles each morning before breakfast along the beach which was a great way to start the day. High floors mean you get a view. Highly recommended and will return. Thank you to the staff for making it such a great holiday.More

Location and food make this hotel a gem

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in early March. The area is wonderful for tourists. There is free parking in front of the hotel. Many shops, grocery stores, restaurants and the beautiful beach are within 5-10 minute walking. We signed up for the breakfast and dinner meal plan which was plenty. You do have to pay for your drinks but we were happy to do so. The food was delicious and generous. Staff very helpful and spoke English. Wifi was decent in the room.More

Better than some 5 star hotels!

For only 4 stars this is a top notch hotel, better than some 5 star hotels around. A lot of the reviews on this hotel is really accurate. A great location close to the beach, great facilities, food excellent, service excellent, free wifi, spotlessly clean throughout and Ursula Mata and her staff excellent and running a really great place. This was the start of my 50th year of celebrations and what a better way to start, we were allocated a 11th floor room which was spacious with fantastic views, after receiving a welcome glass of cava on check in and we were very well looked after throughout our stay. Food excellent, buffet style but plenty to choose from at breakfast and dinner, for the carnivores loads of choices and also for my wife, plenty for the vegetarians all fresh and cooked in front of you. Wife loved the Spa treatments and the massages were fantastic, a must. Sauna very nice, though steam room very small, can get very cosy if there are 3or4 of you in it! Nice pool, though can get very close to the person next to you on the sun loungers. Nude sunbathing terraces on the 7,8,9,10th floors an option. Quite decent evening entertainment, we had a magician/illusionist on one night who was pretty good. Plenty of bars and restaurants nearby in all directions if you want to go out in the evenings or are on B&B basis. Supermarket right next door if you need any provisions and car hire rentals just up the road if you need to hire a car. The hotel has preferential rates for the nearby golf courses which works out cheaper than buying green fees online. For you golfers, Anfi Tauro and Salobre South are 2 great courses to play which are only 20mins away. Whilst I rave about this place I do think they could provide the safety deposit boxes in the rooms free of charge as they currently charge 2 euros a night. Can't think what else to add to this review but we will definitely be returning to this great hotel in the not too distant future.More
