Sand was much too hot too walk on, also lots of steps to get down to beach. If lucky, you will find there is 1 lift that goes down to the last level of the beach, but still about 20 steps to go down, not ideal if you have a buggy. Grandson loved it though, as he could go quite far out and it still wasn't very deep. He is 7 years of age.More
Me and my partner have just got back from our holiday where we spent a week in this brilliant hotel. Everything about the holiday was fantastic we couldn't have wished to stay in a better/ more friendly place. When we arrived to this hotel from our transfer coach we were greeted by a lovely gentleman behind reception who checked us in and made us aware of everything we had booked. When we got to our hotel room it was beautiful and spotless ... There was even some food and drink left for us in our room in case we were hungry. The rooms were cleaned everyday and always to a high standard. The view from over the balcony looking onto the swimming pool was lovely. The food was of excellent taste and the waiters/ waitresses were always so lovely, caring and very very funny. What impressed me the most was the fact the manager got so involved in everything whether it was sitting people to their tables, cleaning tables and even getting drink orders, it made you feel like nothing was to much trouble. We flew with Thompson and so the day after we had arrived we met with Janice who was our rep and she was so helpful. We were told what all the activities were, how much they cost, how long they were on for and what days the were on so it made booking them very very easy. Janice also told us where the best places to go in Gran Caneria are and provided us with a map so we didn't get lost. The best activities we found were Africat (boat trip) and the Musical Hall Tavern (drag queen show). The swimming pool area is absolutely beautiful and you do not even have to queue for a sun bed as there are plenty. The two gentlemen who work at the swimming pool/ sun bed area were the two nicest gentlemen I have ever met. Nothing was to much trouble for them and if somebody didn't have a sun bed they would find them a space no problem. These gentlemen also provided sun bed mattresses and towels and even brought them to you. The employees who worked in the pool bar were equally and lovely and as chatty and made you feel very at home and there was no wait for a drink either. All the employees behind reception were very helpful and tried their best to answer any question or queries we had. The only negative thing I have to say about this hotel is they way they check you out on your last day. Our flight home wasn't until 1:30 Sunday morning and we were due to be picked up at 23:00 from this hotel. We were asked to check out at 14:30 and so had nowhere to go for all of that time however, it would have been nice to have a little nap so we weren't so tired travelling home. They did provide us with a shower / changing room which was very kind but the way we were asked to leave our hotel room at 14:30 made us feel like they didn't really care about us anymore as we had paid and checked out. Overall, this hotel is fantastic and I would not hesitate I'm going back again. More
Overall experience We stayed from 7th to 15th July, this hotel lives up to the reviews putting it as number 3 in all hotels at playa deal ingles. Overall the facilities were exceptional, service excellent and food could not fault one bit. We enjoyed everything about the hotel and experienced no issues at all. Food Plenty of choice, including bespoke omelettes at breakfast, so much choice. Dinner you cannot wear vest tops for men but shorts are allowed. Each night different theme and always something to choose to suit all tastes. Drink service quick and adds a nice touch to dinner overall. Only suggestion would make is perhaps a snack bar after diner finishes, and maybe somewhere to self serve soft drinks to save asking at the bar. It would also be easier if we were given wristbands rather then showing the paper card for all inclusive at the bar which when you are wet from pool can get a bit flimsy. Service Excellent, could not fault the friendly welcome and good to see management helping at all mealtimes and ensuring everyone got tables as requested. It would be good if the all inclusive stayed on til midnight as felt 11 pm was a little early to finish this if you are staying at the hotel. Entertainment Overall good, was different act on each night and of good quality. We ventured out to yumbo most nights which is very nearby, recommend sparkles show bar as always a good night and a great laugh. Rooms Very spacious, comfy beds and pillows and maid cleaned room each day with fresh towels. There were lots of little touches such as wine in room, water bottles, matches and toiletries. You can also order tea and coffee for room which was great. Hotel very quiet at night for good nights sleep. Pool Excellent heated pool, and lots of sun beds. There is the usual starting pistol at 9am for dash for beds, but we did not feel this was an issue and got a bed together each day. You are also provided with fresh sunned towel each day which was great. Gym Choice of two gyms on top floor and also third, good equipment and used this twice during stay. Would absolutely recommend this hotel, I just wish we stayed longer than a week. Will definitely be returning next year. Thanks to all the team at seaside sandy beach for making our stay so relaxing and enjoyable, this should be a 5 star hotel in my view.More
Not long been back, spent 10 days here and it was truly fab!! Got welcomed with a glass of bubbly and cases got taken up to the room. Arrived around 11pm when we got to the room the staff had laid out bread, cheese, ham and fruit which was a really nice touch! The room was huge! With a walk in wardrobe, fridge and microwave! Pool area was love,t not too lively or crazy! Could always get a sun lounger just ask the pool assistant who is there all day every day!! How ever the only little moan I have call me a typical Brit is that we wasn't allowed inflatables in the pool! All I wanted to do was Bob up and down on a lilo!! The restaurant and food was good always something to eat! The staff couldn't do enough! And for people complaining about smokers you always got a choice of smoking or non smoking! Hotel is so close to the beach one way and the shops and bars the other, the staff on reception are always happy to help and direct you!! This was10 days of heaven didn't want to leave!!!More

While on holiday in maspalomas at the carnery garden club we visited the two main beach areas playa del ingles and the maspalomas beach mainly just to see the area and the famous dunes We just strolled along the front looking at the market stalls and taking in the sights it was very nice day and enjoyed the area.
