Fantastic hotel fantastic staff!
27 of us Stayed here the end of November. Our party was made up of adults and children, the children were all competing in a gymnastic competition on the island. The hotel was fantastic and looked after us all very well. We were alinclusive and the food and drink was fabulous. The hotel, pool areas and grounds were very clean throughout, and the staff very friendly especially the bar staff and Francois ( sorry if I've spelt your name wrong!) who was fantastic with all the children (and mums!) throughout our stay. We all can't wait to come back again next year !!More

Another great stay
This is our 7th stay here. Good location for everything, far away to be quiet and close enough to walk to any of the centres. Great grounds which means you can sunbath either by a poo, or in a quiet garden area. Food is plentiful, good quality and the daily choice ensures you never get bored with what's on offer. The staff are very friendly, some have worked here for a lon period of time. Good value for all inc although the house wines are a little weak.More
ticks all the right boxes
just returned from our 3rd visit to the ifa catarina, and i can only say good things about the hotel and staff. we were greeted on arrival by cheerful and helpful reception staff who checked us in very quickly and informed us that we had been allocated the same room as we had occupied on our last visit ( as requested by us) i cannot believe that some reviewers say that the staff are geared towards the german guests, as we have found that we are treated very well by all. i can only assume that some people are hell-bent on finding fault in any hotel that they stay at, for instance, moaning that the carpets in the hallways are a little worst for wear, or that the wi-fi is only free in the reception area, for gods sake, you dont sleep in the hallways and are some people not capable of having a holiday without the internet ??? on the whole my partner and i had a wonderful 2 week break at the catarina and this was due in no small part to all the people there, from the management right down to the cleaners who work all the hours god sends, and we would both like to thank all of them and we are looking forward to staying here again next yearMore

Went beginning of dec, room adequate and clean, room service every day, food was great, plenty of choice of everything, went inclusive, drinks 11 to 11, (local). staff was great, entertainment was ok first night, tribute act (queen) but after that was just local singers that was ok but not my thing, just a couple of things though, first no kettle or coffee making facilities, and got a letter left by the cleaner (I think) saying if we smoked in the room or balcony that it would be a 95 euro fine, I did go to reception about this and said we had not smocked in the room but was doing so on the balcony with door shut, I did say to her that if she put this on there web site at least people would no but I did not think they would have as many customers, was told by the lady she agreed and don't worry about it, I just wanted people to no about this as I have never been to a hotel EVER that does not allow smoking on the balcony in fact they usually have ashtrays there for you, but apart from that well worth a visit.More
