Second visit as good as first.
Again I loved Alison and her animation team who seem to be full of energy with activities throughout the day, they build all the settings on and at the side of the stage and then give fantastic evening shows. Her dancing and the Acttiv members who take part in the shows are well rehearsed and first class. The background screen coordinating the performance is outstanding and best viewed from the front middle of stage, (unfortunately these seats are limited as the space is taken up with the pool). We giggled all the way through the movie quiz and enjoyed the antics on stage so much we sometimes forgot to fill in the answers! Look out for Marcos and Alisons spectacular ending. Its lovely to return and even after 7 months I'm sure some hotel staff did remember us. Namely super efficient chatty Himar, (bar waiter) and smiley Noel in the restaurant who seemed to do all his duties at a super charged paced but still had time to wish us a good day and remember our drinks order every evening. As others have reported we found the hotel public areas and rooms cleaned and polished throughout the day and in the restaurant we feel there is more than enough choice to put on at least 4lbs a week! On all inclusive we would have liked a help yourself tea, coffee, water and soft drinks machines. These are available in other IFA hotel but why not here? As a result be prepared for extra long queues every morning from 11am especially at poolside. The other niggle was having to produced room cards at breakfast and dinner every time, even though we had our all inclusive bands. However this was not the case at lunchtime. We find the relaxed atmosphere of the hotel would draw us back again in the future.More
will never go back
stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in sept.the rooms were very clean and spacious and the cleaning staff were excellent.paid extra for a garden view thinking we would get a lovely quiet room.WRONG.if we looked very hard to the right we see a bit of garden but we were right over the childrens play area and pool area and to the left was the stage.we had noise from 9am till 11.30pm.on the second day we thought we would have our breakfast outside.we were given a table about 6inches from the next table.we were about to start eating when the people on the next table who had finished lit up their ciggarettes and so we had smoke in our faces while trying to eat.we left the food and went to our room.so if you are a non smoker you cannot eat any meals outside.the hotel is mainly germans and this was reflected in the food and entertainment although the queen tribute was good.as we were half board we paid for any drinks we had.nobody seemed to know how to take the money and when they knew you were paying the wine and brandy came from a different bottle.trying to get to the lifts to the fifth floor was near impoosible.my husband who was recovering from a bad back had to lift 2 heavy suitcases up 8 steps along a small landing and down the otherside.there was no ramp although plenty of room for one.if you were disabled i have no idea what you would do.the beds were also very hard and after two weeks we were glad to get home for a bit of peace and quiet and a comfortable bed.would i go back to this hotel.NEVER. even if it was free.More

experience of hotel
Air condition never work even after telling them five times so ask if we could hire a fan they said they did not hire so brought a fan to then find out next day they did hire them out, so not happy .shower this was went from hot to cold within seconds. this was a all inclusive hotel yet cocktails and some coffee had to pay for. Also had to pay for towels and each time took back needed to pay for clean ones .we were never told about the premium all inclusive option ,every time went in for meals had a piece of paper to be filled in this took for ever when leaving the restaurant as staff needed it check what drinks we had or not ,if wanted ice creams needed to pay for these. The staff were very pleasant. The swimming pool was not very clean for a couple of days but they did do something about this. This was suppose to be their high season but only one bar was open so always had to queue.More
Not all it seems
Stayed here for ten days in September The staff were lovely and the rooms clean but very dated although there were signs of modernisation going on in two rooms on our floor .We had requested low floors in February to both hotel and holiday company on arrival we had not been allocated them and had to haggle with staff also they had my husband as sharing with his sister and myself sharing with my sister in law this was rectified only for my sisters in law to be given a double bed to share !!! The next day the bed settee was made up as has they had unpacked and did not want to move We hired a kettle which came with slippers ,dressing gowns ,water, towels and a complementary drink for under 7 euros each good value .Unfortunatly this is mainly a German hotel catering for Germans all the signage is mainly in German The food was repetitive and we ate out a lot Fish mainly perch every day the salads the same lunch and evening and snacks only available at certain times for two days a large section of the restaurant was closed off .It was also the worst and smallest desert choice at anywhere I have stayed .It is a very clean hotel with lovely staff but very dated and full of smokers smoking in public areas it is not so where I would return I also think you should be told it is a gay area where the local bars turn into gay and swingers areas at night that said a cab is very cheap to go to playa de ingles at night and in the day It is a good 20 mins to 30 mins walk to the beach at playa de ingles not 10!as people have stated though the hotel lays on a free busMore
