The room was a good size and overlooked the pool area and the balcony had a table and two chairs. There was also a drying rack on the wall, that pulled out which was ideal for drying the swimming things! The cleaners came in everyday and made up the room and were always very friendly. We went all inclusive and were not disappointed with the food, there was always an extensive choice for breakfast ,lunch and dinner. A free bus stops outside the hotel several times a day to take people down to the beach and back again ,although the walk to the beach wasn't that far! We spent a fantastic two weeks there and would certainly love to return soon.More

I have been to a lot of hotels but this hotel is exceptional! Rooms cleaned everyday.. clean sheets/towels.. the food buffet catered for every nationality! Only negative is the hotel is located a four minute taxi drive from the centre.. but taxis are very cheap! So it wasn't a huge problem. Staff very friendly and spoke an adequate amount of English which was a postive!More
Good food, everything was teasty. very friendly staff and a very nice Pool and garden! Beautiful! Also a good location. Room was big but the bed was to hard. And outside must be painting. Some old. But 4 stars!!More
Booked a 3 night stay at the IFA Catarina all inclusive. Hotel is pleasant with clean rooms and nice gardens and pool area. Food is acceptable for all inclusive, however my only gripe is that all inclusive literally gives soft drinks, house beer, wine, sangria - most other drinks are extra and cocktails are not included. I would return again, the hotel had a generally pleasant atmosphere and staff were very friendly also. More
The hotel is huge and that includes the restaurant. Consequently as so many guests it was like a feeding frenzy. The staff were very helpful and spoke English extremely well. The reception was well staffed and so helpful and fast at arranging any repairs. The bedrooms on floor two were ideal for disabled but in block where the reception is. However there is one or two negative points. Not a lot of room for sunbeds near the pool but the gardens are extensive and can sunbathe there. Unfortunately when the evening entertainment is on its round the pool area so no room and if you are at the end of the pool nearest the ice cream parlour viewing is more or less impossible. Now to the entertainment. The two boys and two girls are very good with the kids but when it comes to the adult entertainment really poor. It's like amateur night at the village hall. One guy is full of himself but isn't very good or professional, the girls are prissy and again not very good and the other guy tries his best but it's just not enough. One evening it's Indiana Jones with snakes, if you could call it that. One Salamander and two snakes that is over in a half an hour isn't entertainment. Mustn't take photos until the end and then one can. No mention of washing hands which you should as these animals carry salmonella. Most of the entertainment over two weeks was pretty awful but that is my and my friend's opinion but I've been in hotels all over the world and this entertainment is at the bottom of the rung. Now to all inclusive, it isn't for everything so don't expect it. Cakes on view in the ice cream parlour but only for sale, the all inclusive ones are just what's leftover from dinner. Water in the restaurant must be bought but by the pool is free, go figure!! There are very few English guests so don't expect the Brits to be the majority. Nude bathing is available on the roof terrace and you can nude bathe on the dunes. Around the area are various small shops, nearly all selling the same stuff but in the Cita centre (shopping centre), the shopkeepers are a nightmare, so pushy to the point of obsessive that you will buy. You can't even just enquire about the cost of something as you can't get away from them. Taxis are very reasonable, which is a good point. Well I think I have covered most subjects, I hope whoever reads this review finds it useful.More
