Club Bahamas

This place gets full marks for location – with a sandy beach and the best of Playa d’en Bossa’s bars and clubs on tap.

This hotel had a makeover for 2014 – and it comes with a great postcode, too. You’re right on a sandy beach, and 10 minutes’ walk gets you to the centre of town with plenty of shops, bars, clubs and restaurants. Plus, you're right next door to some of Ibiza's best music venues.

This place has a big pool with a bar on the side. Food is taken care of at the buffet restaurant and snack bar, while relaxation comes courtesy of the spa.

Great holiday

Loved my 7 days here. Room was spotless, wide range of food at meal times. Staff very helpful and polite. Sun was scorching. Only thing was on last night the place was really noisy with music playing until the terrace bar closed and the location prob best suited for the clubbers. It's changing to adults only summer 2017 so that's the only reason we wouldn't be back.More

Charlene F,

Fantastic Holiday

We decided to come back to this hotel again this year, something we don't normally do. We came for ten days like last year over Whitsun and can't fault the experience. The room, food and staff were all excellent. Having the beach at the end of the hotel is a bonus. The staff on the beach, although not connected to the hotel were friendly and very good. They even offered me sun cream when they noticed my skin was getting red due to the sun. In terms of the hotel the choice of food is very good, and one of the better choices for all inclusive. My only frustration on this visit was that they tried to put in a new scheme for drinks in the evening so had a separate queue for cocktails but then took orders from other staff in different queues when clearly I had been waiting for some time. Thankfully by the end of our stay this had been put right, and they only took orders from customers in front of them and kept telling clients to get into the right queue for drinks and cocktails. For anyone who doesn't want a long coach journey then this is ideal - 10 minutes from the airport. There is some overhead traffic but no more than I'm use to at home and it didn't affect the holiday. I am gutted to hear that from 2017 it will be a couples only holiday so I won't be able to stay next year with my child.More

Jacky S,

Summer holiday ☀️

This was mine and my boyfriends first summer holiday together. After endlessly searching and coming across club Bahamas it did not disappoint! Firstly it's 5 minutes away from the airport which is fabulous as you don't want a long coach journey. We checked in around 02:45am. I had read you were greeted with champagne and juice on arrival at the hotel which we didn't which I guess is because of the time. The receptionist wasn't very helpful either maybe he just worked during the nights. He wasn't very helpful or welcoming and was like he wasn't 100% sure what he was doing. Finally got to our room where he directed us to and lugged our cases up the stairs to find out later in the week our room is also accessible by lift! This receptionist also didn't tell us about any facilities or opening times of the restaurant for breakfast etc. We missed breakfast the next morning hence arriving late during the night and wasn't informed of times. We just happened to also see there was a limited amount of breakfast in the snack bar. That is my only quibble everything else is fantastic! Food was absolutely amazing there was such a wide range and variety of food every day which changed both lunch and dinner everyday. The only thing which was repetitive was salads of course and pizza, pasta and chips which you can't really Go wrong by and were there which pleased everyone. Even the types of pasta and pizza changed meaning there was something for everyone! Same with the snack bar which also had changes daily alongside desserts. I miss the food already I was stuck for choice everyday and couldn't decide! The pool was lovely, nice and big with plenty of loungers around. Ignore what people say about not getting a lounger after 8am we often went down to get them between 9-10am and found some then you can move them to where you want which isn't a problem as there is so much space around the pool. By walking past the pool for a few steps you reached a gate to enter the beach which was brilliant! The animation team were fantastic, after always participating when I was younger on holidays this team got everyone involved! Special mention goes to Daniel who is the head of animation, he is a credit to the hotel! He can speak so many different languages and makes sure everyone has a good time and gets involved. The team were so friendly and came round after the evening entertainment to chat to you or thank you for taking part which was lovely. They work so hard as they are there in the morning right through until after 11pm. The room was lovely and modern alongside the hotel. Probably the cleanest and nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. Could not find a fault whatsoever! Bottled water placed in room everyday and cleaned thoroughly. What also enhanced my opinion about the hotel is that they have a gluten free area in the restaurant! I have never come across this before and for people being gluten free makes it a lot easier for them to enjoy their dining experience. The hotel is also very enthusiastic about recycling. There are different bins for different types of rubbish, electricity powered by the hotel key only and to put your towels on the floor if you need them changing. I would definitely like to return! It was great how the hotel had a mixed clientele of guests. There were young couples like us, older couples, families and groups of friends. We didn't have a problem with the noise or location as the hotel is a few minutes walk to the nightlife in playa den bossa. There was always so much going on which was interesting to see and is also close to the hard rock hotel which is worth visiting to go to the sky bar. The fact the hotel is a flight path also didn't bother us. Yes you can hear planes but it only bothers you if you let it. They weren't constant and didn't wake you up if any flew during the night. The only other thing is the photographers at the hotel which is a separate company to the hotel which I believe are could foto eventi? These are very pushy and not very nice as you're in the pool just relaxing or having fun and there's someone taking a photo of you which I particularly didn't want. Don't they need consent from us to be taking pictures of us? Especially of us being in the pool unaware etc. I didn't feel comfortable with it. They would then hassle you for a picture and wouldn't accept no as an answer. If they did manage to get a victim to agree to a picture they had them doing an entire Photoshoot of different angles, poses etc. We felt sorry for some people as they were on their way for dinner and got hassled. It was that bad we had to tactically avoid them whilst going past for our dinner to make sure we weren't bothered! That was the only thing I didn't like but that's not the hotels fault! Anyway! I realise I have rambled on slightly but can say I've thoroughly expressed my love and appreciation for the hotel. Absolutely amazing. I would love to return one day! Thank you club Bahamas :)More

Francesca K,

Great Holiday!

Arrived to Champagne and juice after the FIVE MINUTE coach journey from the airport- SUCCESS! Although we arrived before the check-in time the staff worked hard to get us in early- all the staff were great including our maid. Being so close to the airport our hotel was right under the flight path, it is audible but by no means a disturbance and not as many fly in the evening. The hotel is right next to The Hard Rock Hotel and Ushuaia yet there is no noise coming from it- the buildings seem to shield the noise. You are also 5 mins walk from Space Nightclub. If you're not into clubbing this area won't put you off- it is a peaceful area suitable for all ages. Whilst we were there we had a problem with the water- unless you got back to the room before 5pm there was no hot water, although this was resolved quickly. Cocktails were part of the all-inclusive deal which was bad for my liver- great for a good time. Plenty of bars inside and out- the entertainment required alcohol to watch! A short bus or taxi to Ibiza Town and San Antonio. All in all a great trip and would 100% visit again.More

Who's the mystery pineapple man???

My boyfriend and I went to Club Bahamas in May this was our first time in Ibiza. It was so lovely everything was perfect it was probably the best holiday I have been on, we were steps away from the beach. And down the road to Playa den Bossas strip. The only problem we had was on our 5th night somebody somehow came into our room in the early hours of the morning whilst we were sleeping. In the morning we went and spoke to a manager and explained what happened, nothing was stolen and still to this day we're not sure how they entered as both the front door was shut and balcony door was locked from inside. We think it may have been someone drunk perhaps as they left a pineapple and eaten banana in front of our door in the room however funny this is now and how un believable this sounds, at the time it was quite frightening to think someone was in our room whilst we were sleeping. Management changed our room but it was a total downgrade to the previous room, we wasted a day of our holiday sorting it out e.g packing and moving.More
