Club Bahamas

This place gets full marks for location – with a sandy beach and the best of Playa d’en Bossa’s bars and clubs on tap.

This hotel had a makeover for 2014 – and it comes with a great postcode, too. You’re right on a sandy beach, and 10 minutes’ walk gets you to the centre of town with plenty of shops, bars, clubs and restaurants.

This place has a big pool, with a bar on the side and a kids' pool at one end. Food is taken care of at the buffet restaurant and snack bar, while relaxation comes courtesy of the spa.

7 days all inclusive at club bahamas.

Hotel was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Entertainment was so-so.three good nights out of seven. Food, breakfast and lunch very good, dinner, well some meals left a lot to be desired. Drinks were terrible, beer was almost impossible to pour without getting a 90% head, and the shorts were either a very very cheap brand or were watered down.More

alan b,

we will go back

just got back from 1 wk ai at the club Bahamas in Ibiza , must say we had a great time the hotel was nice + clean all the staff were FAB the rooms were good we had a pool view , outside the hotel not a lot to do as all the shops + bars were closing down it all shuts on 31/10/14. the beach is very clean + tidy just a 2min walk, but we don't think it would be the place for us in summer ! i.e. not for the older person like myself . but we had a great wk and we will go back the same time next year, thanks to all the staff for a really FAB week.p.s.the grub is ok + always plenty of wine. on tap . there are no lifts ? but there is only 3 floors.More

Great Ibiza break!

Just arrived home from our break in Ibiza. Although we were cutting it fine with the season, we managed to get to one of the closing party's at Tantra the night we arrived, which wasn't too far from the hotel. But most of the shops were already shut for the end of season. The weather was great for the time of year, we did have rain one morning, but didn't last any longer than half an hour. If you are planning to have a tanning holiday the sun loungers near the kiddies pool and by the pool bar have the sun all day; others get shaded by buildings and the odd palm trees. Food was amazing, there was always a wide range of things to eat. I highly recommend the smoothies at breakfast and the tomatoes with herbs on were lovely! At an evening if you find yourself at the outdoor stage after some cocktails please please please go to DAVID he made the best drinks BY FAR! he's tall with short dark hair and a short beard/long stubble and wears thick framed glasses. But remember this; whoever you go to measures aren't measured! The rooms were lovely! they must have had some sort of sound proofing as you couldn't hear the planes coming in/out of the air port which you could when your outside (by the pool, bars and beach) so we were pleasantly surprised by that. Slept great and comfortably. If you wanted the air-con on you need to have the door shut, this wasn't explained but I've stayed in other hotels that have this. Also if you're leaving the room and need devices to charge, leave the spare key in the light key holder thing, as if it doesn't have one in the lights, air-con and electricity don't work. Very clean hotel, could not fault any of the hotel staff, but one of the security at the door(i assume this is a different company) were very rude to us, and didn't speak any English, even though the rest of the staff(except the cleaners) seemed to speak at least three languages. We didn't see him there again after the next morning, so the hotel probably sorted that out. Thompson guide was very helpful with what there was to do and where to go. BUT if you are under 21(us) if you wanted to hire a vehicle, it had to be a 50cc moped, we hired two, from different places, one from MAXI RENT round the corner and one from DISCOUNT CAR RENT in the town. I would recommend Maxi Rent, we only went to the other as it was Sunday and Maxi was shut, it did look a bit ghetto, but the bike was fairly nippy for a slowped and was great fun when we went up to Ibiza Town. Overall great holiday, Lovely hotel would defiantly be returning!More

Samantha R,

Great hotel, great staff, great service

My husband, twin 15 year old daughters and myself stayed here for one week (8/10 to 15/10). I have to say after reading some of the reviews a few days prior to going I started to feel a bit dubious about my choice. Oh my goodness to say my worries were needless is an understatement! We arrived at the hotel after only a ten minute smooth transfer from the airport and were greeted by friendly staff and a glass of champagne or fresh orange. Showed to our rooms promptly after a rundown of the facilities etc and happy to let a member if staff carry the cases up to our rooms. We were worried about a few of the comments prior to arriving, first being the noise! Well quite frankly there was no noise when we went, it turned out to be one of the quietest, most relaxing holidays we have been on in a very long time. I suspect the other guests who's reviews complained did not fully investigate where and when they were going. Ibiza is a top clubbing destination and the hotel is within walking distance of all the major clubs including Space and Pacha! Couple that along with the fact that it was their closing celebration party week, the week prior to our week (the clubs closed on the 8th, the day we arrived), its really no wonder it was noisy! As for being close to the airport, we anticipated aircraft noise but even this turned out to be much less than we expected. Again probably down to the time of year we went would have resulted in less flight activity. Entertainment was available in the evenings of you wanted it and included everything from a disco to a hypnotist (who was quite frankly amazing!). We didn't go to much of the evening entertainment but guests we spoke to thoroughly enjoyed it. Last but certainly not least, the accommodation, food and staff. Always kept immaculately clean, staff on duty 24/7 working hard to keep it that way. The rooms were bright and airy (well the ones we had certainly were), and again were cleaned daily with fresh towels each day included. Food was fresh, plentiful and of a good standard, always a lot of choice and really no need at all to go hungry unless you are seriously picky! Between the buffet restaurant and the snack bar there was always something available. Again immaculately clean. The a la carte restaurant which you had to book and could visit twice during a week long stay was the only disappointment of the whole holiday. Still buffet service except for drinks so I wouldn't be rushing back as didn't think it was really any better than the main restaurant and it had a lot less choice. Really though that is the only thing that didn't quite meet expectations but it is by no means a major factor in whether we would recommend or return to this hotel again, because we would, without hesitation. I have high standards, am OCD about cleanliness and organisation and I have to say our experience at this hotel ticked all the boxes. The staff is a credit to the hotel, keep up the good work!More

Debbiemcg2011,

Amazing location, lovely rooms

Just got back from Ibiza, this hotel resort is truly very very lovely. All the big clubs closed the week or 2 before our holiday which is why we booked in this area as neither of us enjoy clubbing but really wanted to see the island. (A few very big clubs are just a walk away). We went off season which is why the rooms were probably cheaper...but a bit surprising for a hotel which has just been fully refurbished for this year. We had all inclusive, the buffet meals were all really nice and part of our package allowed us to eat in the other resort restaurant twice for free. On both occasions we were told the restaurant was fully booked when booking at the reception and after questioning us for 2 minutes to find us other dates to have dinner we were told we would be squeezed in on our chosen date. The 1st time this happened we felt over the moon that they had gone out of our way to 'squeeze us in'...however when we got there the restaurant was really empty, with maybe only up to 10 tables occupied...this didn't change much whilst we sat there for an hour. This restaurant is also a self service buffet so really nothing that special and the food is almost the same as the main buffet restaurant. This was a shame and the waitress was rushing me to finish as she kept asking to take my plate away... The room itself was very modern, spacious and elegant. We loved the room, its a shame we couldn't see much from the balcony because of a big tree. The only downside is there seemed to be no double beds. We were stuck with a twin room, which wasn't the end of the world but not ideal. A back gate in the resort leads to the beautiful beach of Playa Da Bossa, the back entrance really is in the best part of the very long beach. As the water is clear, any further and there are lots of stones in the water. If you go this way, keep your room key handy so you can come back in from this gate. Be warned, out of season there is not much happening outside of this resort in the local area. Most of the restaurants and shops are closed completely already after the clubbing season until next year (something we were not aware of) however the bus stop is a minutes walk away from the front entrance of the resort. There is also a Club Bahamas shop, which we only noticed being open once during our stay, they probably should have opening times put up here. I'd highly recommend this resort to everyone.More
