This place gets full marks for location – with a sandy beach and the best of Playa d’en Bossa’s bars and clubs on tap.
This hotel had a makeover for 2014 – and it comes with a great postcode, too. You’re right on a sandy beach, and 10 minutes’ walk gets you to the centre of town with plenty of shops, bars, clubs and restaurants. Plus, you're right next door to some of Ibiza's best music venues.
This place has a big pool with a bar on the side. Food is taken care of at the buffet restaurant and snack bar, while relaxation comes courtesy of the spa.

Not a premium hotel in my opinion
Just spent two weeks at club Bahamas. After spending five nights having a cold shower we were moved to another block only at the intervention of our Rep. Very noisy hotel with Clubbers arriving back early morning. Food good variety but sometimes not very hot. Night entertainment varied from OK to very good. Entertainment team very friendly. Would not go to this hotel or resort again.More
Good but noisy and food leaves a lot to be desired.
We have just returned from a lovely holiday away in Ibiza staying at Club Bahamas. Firstly, location is wonderful - 10 mins in taxi from airport, 15 mins in taxi from old town, 20 min to san Antonio, 10 min walk to playa d'en bossa centre, and approximately 30 seconds from the beach (which is beautiful!!). Unfortunately due to the close proximity to the airport there is a lot of noise to be expected, but after a couple of days you switch off to it (first day I was so upset by it, by the end I was enjoying watching the different planes fly past!) The food I wasn't too keen on, it reminded me a little of school dinners, and most nights both myself and my partner had bad stomachs, which did ruin the trip a little for us as we both really enjoy food. There was always a good selection but in my opinion just not cooked very well. The food at the Restaurant however was DEVINE and definitely worth a visit. I understand most guests get one meal included - however they did not tell us this at check in so definitely investigate as the food in the restaurant was incredible. The pool is lovely and was never too busy, however one down point for me was the CONSTANT noise, whether it be music or the daytime entertainment it did get a little too much for me, so we spent most days at the beach just for some peace and quiet. The pool is salt water, but you do get used to it after a while although I don't think helped with the upset stomachs. The rooms were lovely. Spacious and contemporary and we had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool. However, it was impossible to sleep. In the evenings we could hear (and even feel) the continuously thudding of club music from the beach (I believe) and the Hardrock and in the mornings the continuous thudding from the pool bar. It was certainly a pleasure to come home to some peace and quiet. The bathrooms were lovely and shower had a good pressure. However, unless you like freezing cold showers think again about having a shower between 5pm and 8pm. Also, the shower is a saltwater shower, which does nothing for your hair and you seem to spend the entire time you are there feeling a little dirty. Lastly, the hotel offers free Wifi however, in the week we were there this did not work once for us. Playa d'en Bossa itself was ok... the beach was beautiful and the beach bars and restaurants were lovely, but the strip/town wasn't personally my cup of tea. Full of drugs, fights, all sorts. Even during the day it felt a little sketchy being offered drugs at every turn. HOWEVER, if you are going for a party holiday you should have an amazing time. We, however, were sold a couples holiday and to me it didn't really meet my expectations. In all I would say this hotel was definitely overall a 3 star, but does definitely try. A special mention should definitely be made to the Animation Team. They work tirelessly around the clock, and whilst this kind of entertainment isn't my bag... it has to be mentioned how hard they truly work to keep the atmosphere pumping.More
After reading dozens of reviews I have to say I was more than apprehensive about going to Club Bahamas Ibiza, but I have to say we had a fantastic time, rooms were clean with contemporary feel, staff were by far the best I have encountered and there were always free sunbeds even tho the hotel was full. Some of the reviews had complained about the noise from the other hotel ie. Hard rock but we heard nothing even tho they held daily parties. Also complaints about aircraft noise, yes the aircraft was quite loud but if you only want a 5 minute transfer from the airport what do you expect!!!! 5* from us.More
Visited this hotel for a week, 12-19th September with my girlfriend. We are both 25 years old and were hoping for a holiday where we could relax by the pool, have nice food and enjoy a few of the famous Ibiza clubs. We arrived at 2am in the morning and were greeted with a pleasant reception which was quick and informative. Exactly what we needed as we were ready for our bed. Our room (5310 - block 5 on the 3rd floor) was nice and clean with a balcony looking over to Hard Rock hotel and beyond to Ibiza Town with a partial sea view which was very nice. The room was cleaned every day and replenished with a fresh 2l bottle of water. The only negative was the showers which were cold in the evenings but fine (albeit salty) in the mornings. This is a known problem in the hotel which needs to be fixed. The pool was great with a good atmosphere and music playing. I see that some reviewers complain about it being too noisy but imo if you come to Playa D'en Bossa (PDB) this is to be expected. The animation staff were enthusiastic and added to the atmosphere. The pool bar served great all inclusive Mojito's, as well as other cocktails, and San Miguel on tap. The buffet restaurant had a great selection of food which we enjoyed for lunch most days and dinner a few nights. We didn't try the themed restaurant so can't comment on this. The location is on the beach and 5 minute walk from PDB centre which is lively at night but not all that nice during the day (better sticking to the beach). Space and Ushuaia nightclubs are both in this area though, which are excellent. Drinks are very expensive in these clubs so ensure you have plenty of all inclusive Mojito's before you go! Ibiza Town (6km away) is around â¬10 in a taxi, or â¬1.90 on the bus, or â¬3 in the aqua bus (recommended!) from PDB beach. The aqua bus also has a drop off at Figueretes beach before Ibiza Town which is very nice. Ibiza Town has lots of good shops; the Marina is very nice and Dalt Vila has excellent bars and restaurants which reminded me of Sorrento - almost couldn't believe we were still in Ibiza! Overall this was a great holiday and I expect that negative reviewers hadn't done enough research. If you are looking for a peaceful holiday with no music or atmosphere Playa D'en Bossa is not the right place for you. If you want a holiday where you can enjoy a nice atmosphere by the pool and at the beach, as well as experiencing the famous Ibiza nightlife then this hotel is a great choice at a reasonable price. We've just arrived home after our 7 night stay. On arrival we were welcomed with a nice cold glass of cava, which was lovely. Michelle from reception was great. He was personable, friendly and very informative. It seemed nothing was too much trouble for him. Our room was nice and tidy. We had a pool view too which was nice. Also a nice touch was the bottle of wine in our room waiting for us. The water in our room was salty which wasn't great when trying to brush your teeth. Shower was nice and powerful. Wifi was a little slow but useable. It can get a tad noisy in the evenings, but out of the 7 nights we stayed, I'd say only 3 nights were loud but not too loud that you couldn't sleep. After a few days myself and my partner noticed how happy all the staff seemed to be, which was lovely. Big smiles and happy to help at all times. The staff at the pool bar were brilliant (Guillen, Cristian and the girl that was training and an older lady. Didn't manage to catch her name but was always very jolly). The grounds were kept very clean at all times too. The food was nice, nothing really special but lots of options to choose from. I'd suggest maybe a bigger pizza station as these seemed to go very quickly and you'd find yourself waiting for fresh pizza to be cooked. Food was pretty hot and once again the waiting staff were fabulous. Drinks were standard, not the greatest but you get use to it. A winning point was San Miguel being on tap and being able to take a bottle of wine to the room. A few negatives points, our room wasn't cleaned on 1 of the days and we found a note saying 'it was impossible to clean due to the mess' excuse me? Ok, so we had a few clothes on our bed and sofa and a few glasses on the side. Is that really too much mess? We found this very disappointing and I'd confidently say that our room wasn't left in a state. We also returned to our room to find our balcony door left open TWICE by the cleaners. The staff in the restaurant upstairs (the steak was amazing by the way) seemed unfriendly and uninterested. Very vast contrast to the staff downstairs. After our meal we were finishing our drinks when it started to rain, we asked if we could sit on another table inside (bearing in mind this was around 8pm and 80% of the tables were unoccupied.) We were told no as we'd finished eating and we should finish our drinks downstairs.... â¬20 deposit to hire an iron for a week without an ironing board. (So we were informed) The iron was really good however, on day 6 we received a call to return it, as it was only meant to be for 24 hours. I'd advise that whatever the policy is, it's made clear and all reception staff are aware to avoid confusion. On checking out it was disappointing that the warm and friendly welcome that we received when checking in was no longer in place. It seemed rushed and cold. We asked about left luggage and the duty reception manager pointed to where it was. We had a quick look and it was a room just to the side of reception which is accessible to all with no form of organisation. I asked the reception manager if this area was safe, she replied "well nothing's gone missing in 8 months" shrugged her shoulders and walked off.... Charming we thought. It's a shame that these few issues occurred as apart from this we had a wonderful stay. The location was fabulous. If you're like us and want to relax you are far enough away to do so but just 10 minute walk from the centre if you want to check out bars and clubs. Travelling to the old town by taxi costs around â¬12-â¬15 and we travelled on the 'Disco bus' which stops 5 minutes from the hotel into San Antonio which cost â¬7 return and it wasn't too loud either. Beach is 2 minutes from the hotel and you actually get used to hearing the planes. We'd return :)More
