Wonderful relaxing holiday

We were delighted by this hotel, the staff were warm and friendly the room was amazing and our bed was huge!. The location was excellent too, with a supermarket across the road and just a short walk to the strip and beaches. Kitchenette fully equipped and everything really clean.More

Summer holiday in Cyprus, Protaras

Had a great time, all the staff and holiday rep (Thompson) where very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the are area. Loads of activities to do, but a bit expensive. Rooms are maintained to a high level with friendly housekeeping staff. The only downside to the holiday/hotel was that there was no rooms for disable people, which meant I had to go to another hotel to pick-up and drop off my friend from another hotel everyday which wasted my time. There was no wi-fi access in the hotel rooms and had to go the lobby for free wi-fi. Overall loved my time in Cyprus, Protaras and would go back in the near future.More

Excellent stay

We stayed at the brilliant apartments in May for 1 week in a 1 bedroom apartment. We emailed the hotel in advance asking for room 333 and they very kindly allocated the room we requested. Our room was cleaned regularly, and had a fridge, microwave along with all the usual amenities. The bedroom was a good size with a kingsize bed and a sea view, pool area is lovely and clean, a few slides would be a great addition to keep little ones happy.More

It's all in the title! Brilliant!!

From the moment we arrived we had top class service. Since reading the previous reviews We contacted the hotel 48hrs in advance & requested a room from 1 to 6 as we had an infant of 8 months. We got room 6 which was a perfect location. Rooms are massive & food is excellent for the price ( big potions) everything wasn't a problem to any of the staff! We asked about hiring a babies walker & within 30 mins we had one at reception ( reception rang round for us) 10 euro per week. If I was to say anything slightly negative is that there aren't enough sun beds for the amount of people staying at hotel ( people do reserve them) I joined them in the end. Excellent location would visit again & definitely recommend it as self catering! More

Hodge28,

great hotel-sunbed rush annoying

Pro's: lot's. It was a nice hotel. The cleaners did a great job. Food was alright-we stayed for the grill night, and it wasn't amazing food, but I don't expect it from a buffet meal, there was choice and it was good. We did self-catering, we considered changing to B&B but Lidl was so handy, you could get all you needed from there. The reception staff we lovely and helpful. There was entertainment in the evenings*. Oh and the bed in our studio was king size and it was one big bed-not two pushed together like you get some places! UK plug sockets, so didn't need adaptors. Not too far to the strip. I think I was under the impression it was 1.5 hour transfer to the airport, but it was actually more like 45-50 mins. Cons: The biggest is the sun lounger situation. Beyond annoying. The first day my boyfriend got up at 07:45 and got the last 3 loungers. We were at the back of the complex, well away from the pool. We asked the rep at the welcome meeting who said "no, unacceptable, don't reserve sun loungers, towels will be removed from 'reserved' one's" everyday people did. My boyfriend would have to go down at 07:30, and get two. A lot of people would 'reserve' and go back to bed. Others would be out there with one person sitting there they'd be 'reserving' up to 7 sun loungers for their entire party. Once a member of staff removed a couple of towels of people who'd reserved too early but the problem as a whole wasn't addressed. Worrying about getting up in time to my mind isn't enjoyable. Wifi only in reception. The evening entertainment began about 9:30 and would go on til quite late. We had a room overlooking the pool-which was lovely in the day but at night the *blaring noise was annoying. Thomson Kids Club: this is what i'd've wanted to know before going. The kids club runs 5 days a week. Wednesdays and Sundays off. I think the times are 3-5years are 11am-1pm, 5-7 are 1-3pm, and 7+ 3-5pm. Something like that. Then a couple of evenings they did an extra 2-3 hour session for an extra €7-10 per session. The staff were enthusiastic and did lots of activities. I wasn't worried about leaving my child. It was a nice break tbh! We were in a studio and thought we'd be able to swap the sofabed and table around, to have a bit of distance between ours and our child's bed, you can't. We used chairs and towels to make a "screen" between the beds!More
