Have booked for May 2015 as soon as got back!
Loved it great place for families we went May/June 3 kids had a great time lots of sunbeds even at midday. Food was lovely, Pool bar great had a fair few cocktails! And glasses of prosecco!! only thing was entertainment at hotel there wasn't anything on every night but you are so close to the strip it was fine. Have booked for May 2015 and I can not wait. We are bringing friends along as well just wouldn't mind a ground floor apartment over looking tennis courts would be great! More
We stayed at Brilliant Apartments from 20th July to the 3rd August as a family myself, partner and daughter age 10 years. One of the reasons why we chose this property was how well reviewed it was. I will break down each part of the hotel. Rooms. We where in a studio above the bar room was clean, spacious plenty of storage for clothes etc. Air con great cleaning was ok think we got cleaned 5 times over the week. The self catering facilities where adequate for what you needed. The large bed in the room was a bit dodgy as it had a bit of a dip in it from where previous people had been lying. Pool Nice pool area main pool and the kids small pool. My daughter who had goggles had been under the water said it was a bit dirty but there was evidence of it getting cleaned each morning. Sun beds where a bit of a nightmare if you didn't come down by 7.30am you didn't get one. The first week there was no evidence of towels being removed before 8.30am but the second week I had an irate woman came up to me and accused me of taking her towel and pinching her sunbed hilarious. There where the usual sad people who get up at 6am and reserve about 5 or 6 beds and sit there until 8.30am then go off somewhere until noon yes you know how you are! Food We booked on a half board basis which we seemed to be in the minority as most people where self catering. The food was ok but it got better as you are allowed a dine around option meaning you can eat out at the greek, itialian and Asian restaurants on the strip 3 times per week these where lovely with nice food. Location Great as the main strip is about a 5 min walk, beach is a little bit further it is 5 euros for a bed and 2.50 euros for a parasol which is reasonable. Staff The staff are so nice from reception through to maintenance always had time for a quick chat and would go out of their way to help. We had a broken light in the room and also a missing towel and we got these sorted straight away nothing was too much trouble. Thomson rep. Adam was really good knowledgeable and helpful he was always available and would see him walk around the pool several times a day pushing the kids in the pool. The lady who organises the daytime entertainment her name began with M she was really nice and my daughter adored her. To sum up the brilliant it is a little gem in Protaras would return.More

Having just returned from 2 weeks at this hotel I can honestly say it was one of the most friendly and clean hotels we've stayed in. Staff are so very helpful and accommodating. We had a room over looking the tennis courts on the first floor and even in high season it was very peaceful. Being self-catering is made so easy with Lidl being directly next door and with a bus stop being on the door step made life a doddle. The rooms were cleaned 3 times a week and all public areas were spotless. The only downside I found was the reserving of sunbeds around the pool. Although there are signs up asking this not to be done I know for sure that most sun beds had towels on them as early as 6.45am!! If you went down any later than 8.30am you were out of luck for that day! Wifi worked a treat in the lobby so I had happy teenagers too. Evening entertainment was a little cheesy but that's the norm really isn't it?! A cycling a parrot and a spot of bingo. Lovely holiday and this hotel made it even more so.More
I stayed at Brilliant Apartments in July with my partner. From start to finish it was a really enjoyable experience, check in was quick and easy and our room was lovely and clean. This was consistent throughout the trip as well, cleaning and new towels happened 3 times whilst we were there over a 7day period. The hotel staff are very helpful, and give as much information about the area as you need. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, but especially families with young children as there was a lot of children at the hotel. All in all a fantastic hotel, and fantastic holiday! Would definitely go back to this hotel.More

Very clean and spacious
We had a week in Protaras which we chose as a lot of reviewers recommended it for families. We were lucky enough to get a ground floor apartment so we had a bigger balcony. Nice view of Lidl's car park only slightly hidden by palm trees! Didn't mind the view because we were out most days.Night time entertainment a bit noisy but seemed to end after 11pm and not on every night anyway. Also there was air conditioning in both rooms. The pool area was fantastic. Imagine yourself sipping cocktails at the bar watching your kids swimming past you! That's what we did! There were plenty of sunbeds available but just like anywhere else there's no guarantee of getting one when it's busy. We had no problems though. Protaras itself has a lot to offer. Once you find the main strip accessed through the archway past the rear of the hotel there are many excellent restaurants and bars. Because we have young children we didn't go to any bars but they all looked nice enough. The dancing light display looked expensive for what it was and if you're canny you can see bits of it through gaps in the walls! The gift shops sell all the usual stuff but be warned. I found at least three offering offensive weapons within easy reach of young hands. Knives, knuckle dusters, and telescopic coshes! Having Lidl opposite the hotel was a real bonus. The best bit was that they sell my favourite local wine. D'Ahera brewed by Keo. If you like red wine you'll love this! Cyprus is my favourite holiday island and now that I have been I would say Protaras is my preferred resort. I went to Limassol twenty years earlier Protaras has a lot more for families. Children's trampolines and other rides available at night was another bonus.More
