The name says it all
We stayed from Sunday 19th October for one week and couldn't have asked for more. We had a modern one-bedded apartment which was very spacious and had all the utensils etc needed for a great self-catering holiday. The maid came in every day and kept everything extremely clean. The beds were the most comfortable ones we've ever had! There was a bonus of free air-con too! The main pool was fantastic with a great kids pool in it's own area too but if you wanted a little peace and quiet there was a lovely lawned area with sunbeds. The bar was well-stocked and there was a varied menu. There wasn't much entertainment as they were winding down the season but we ate out each night and there were plenty of bars with tribute acts etc on the 'strip'. Best restaurants were Hippo Campus and Island Affair - great food at very reasonable prices. Promises was very good too but a little dearer. The sandy beaches were only 5 minutes minutes walk away and were always very clean with plenty of sunbeds. There is a new boardwalk from beautiful Fig Tree Bay to Pernera village and it's a lovely walk. The buses are cheap and travel at regular intervals to Paralimni and Ayia Napa and a boat trip to see deserted Farmagusta is a must.More

Lovely family break
We stayed here from Sunday the 12th October for ten nights. We arrived at the apartments at tea time and we were very impressed at our location and our ground floor apartment was huge. Very very clean complex, Pool area was immaculate. We had bed and breakfast here at the apartments and can honestly say the menu was good choice and reasonable amount. The staff in the morning were superb, very attentive and always friendly. We had clean towels everyday and beds were always tidied. Maids work very hard and are friendly if you are. Strip is busy but very good at night, great food places on there and we never paid more than 50 euros for our meal for 3 adults an one toddler. We ate at Hippo campus, Nikolas tavern, tower house being our favourite overall as the service in there is second to none and the chips are amazing! We tried super s as well on the upper strip and we only paid 32 euros for our meal, great family restaurant, reminded me a bit of faulty towers but lovely staff and free starters and we had a lovely treat at Anatolia, it was busy as always, but huge choice of food an service exceptional. Visited nissi beach but can honestly say fig tree bay is 5 minutes from brilliant and it beats nissi for cleanliness of the beach and space. Brilliant apartments is not a five star beach front complex, but we went to look at location to get married over there, we looked at all the five stars and ok they maybe amazing inside and have Moët on tap but the outside area set up and pools were rubbish compared to the brilliant apartments. I actually walked past capo bay and didn't notice it. Overall perfect location and we will definitely return to brilliant apartments.More

Brilliant apartments, good but not brilliant
Not much input from Thomson, lacked any entertainment, rooms more than adequate and cleanliness questionable, check bedding and cots as we found blood on ours. Staff very friendly but for self catering apartments it seems a bit ridiculous that you can't take your own food and drinks to the pool?More
The brilliant appartments are a good size for two people. The lounge with a kitchenette has two sofas and a balcony with a table and two chairs. The bedroom was a good size also. Each had air conditioning. The Brilliant apppartments complex has a good pool with lots of sun beds. There is a restaurant which does good basic food. The whole complex was kept very clean. The main strip of protaras is about a five minute walk away down a slight hill, with the beaches another few minutes walk from the main strip. We were self catering and there is a Lidl store opposite the entrance.More

Apartments live up to their name
We stayed here for 2 weeks 28th September to 12th October and had a fabulous time. Our apartment 208 was lovely, very spacious and modern and spotlessly clean with a beautiful pool view. The pool is quite large with a jacuzzi built in and plenty of sunbeds around the sides. We were self catering and we found the food in the bar really nice, especially the breakfast with plenty of choice at reasonable prices, drinks were also not expensive, although the choice of beer is quite limited. There is also a Lidl supermarket just across the road which is handy for essentials like water, bread, milk etc. The apartments are in a good position only 5 mins walk down to the main strip where there are plenty of bars and restaurants and 10 mins to the sandy beach. This was our 1st visit to the Brilliant apartments but we will definately be going back, these apartments certainly live up to their name.More
