This place has a big lagoon pool and an international restaurant. Plus, there’s plenty here for children.
This place has a pair of pools. One’s a huge lagoon number with a Jacuzzi®, while the other’s a shallow pool just for children. There’s also an international restaurant with a spacious sea-view terrace.
These apartments are in the heart of Protaras, a couple of minutes’ walk from the nearest shops and tavernas. And it’s just a 15-minute walk to Fig Tree Bay, a sandy Blue Flag beach.

Booked at the last minute, absolutely fantastic, although it is self catering, there is a varied menu that you can order from, staff are very friendly, lidl supermarket is a 2 minute walk away to stock up on fresh water and such, only a 5 minute walk away from the main strip which is full of lovely bars and shops, prices very reasonable too.we stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which is massive, wouldn't hesitate to return in the near future More
Definitely returning next year
We are just back from a week at the apartments and they are fabulous value for money. The rooms are spacious and although we don't cook in the apartments it is great to have a fridge. We stayed in a studio as we have a child who just turned 2 years old when we were in Cyprus and I was wary about sleeping in a different room to him when we were in an unknown area. We saw the 1 bedroom apartments before we left and I would definitely book one of them next time. Location is fabulous - literally less than a 5 minute walk to the main strip in Protarus Lidl is right next door to the hotel so great for getting water; juice etc Pool area is spacious with lots of sun loungers and great umbrellas. Kids pool is separate and there is also an astroturf area with a kids swing & slide Staff all loveltMore

Size of sofa beds
Hoping someone can help me out. Im hoping to book to holiday for the brilliant apartments but first I need to know if the one bedroomed apartment is suitable for 4 adults as both my children are teenagers and more the size of an adult. Not sure on the photos as the sofa beds look very small and im not sure if they pull out or just sleep on the sofa, Thanks to anyone who can help.More

Fantastic stay again......
This is the forth time we have stayed at these apartments and again had a fantastic holiday. Please do not take much notice of the previous review as there are inaccuracies in it. The Brilliant Apartments are apartments not a hotel and even if booking online I'm sure you would research exactly where you were going to be staying and have a look on the Thomsons website. The food is not fab but that's why we go self catering so we can eat out, you don't have to eat at the apartments, you haven't paid in advance to do so and there are loads of great places in protaras to have breakfast, lunch and dinner which is what we do. The safe is locked unless you pay to hire it at reception (there is a review on here which gives you a free code that works which we used but I can't remember it offhand). We don't bother with the TV remote as we don't watch the TV on holiday, we use our I-pads . The entertainment is quite awful but again we don't stay here to hang around the apartments all night, we go down to the local bars or into ayia napa on an evening. We've never have a problem getting sunbeds even when we've been in the height of summer even though there are the usually towel bandits this is usually around the pool and we prefer to sit on the grass where there are usually free beds up to late morning. We have stayed in a few places in protaras including a few times at the sunrise beach but these apartments are our favourites for an independent holiday without the regimented activities you find in a lot of the hotels. The apartments are spacious and well equipped. I don't cook but we do use the fridge and sink which are clean. There is plenty of room for a family of four and some privacy which you don't get when you are all in one hotel room. We have never had a problem here during any of our visits or ever witnessed anyone else having a problem, we have never seen any arguments or fights or even any rowdy behaviour which is quite rare these days judging from most of the reviews I've read on here when trying to find another place to holiday. This is one of the reasons we keep coming back and will probably be back for one of our holidays next year.......... My one gripe is the wifi which you have to pay for and then you still usually have to sit by reception to get connected. When we were here we had a top floor room close to reception and could pick it up when on the balcony but I think the wifi should be free now as it is in most bars and restaurants.More

We stayed at these apartments end October and overall we were disappointed. I guess it depends on what you're used to. First of all, it's absolutely not a hotel. It's very much self catering apartments with a cafe in the lobby. That's fine it it's what you understand it to be. If you booked your holiday through Thomson then you got all your information from the rep. If you booked on line, as we did, there was not information about the amenities etc. No information was given in check in. Everyone was making lots of trips to the convenient supermarket across the street but then couldn't take any of that food and drink to the pool area. Instead, your only choice was to eat in your room or to purchase food and drink from the cafe. The food variety was very limited and the food was very average. The rooms were clean and quite large but very basic. There was no information about the facilties in the room to refer to. No remote control but we found out we could ask for one at reception. The toaster was broken, the fridge freezer door permanently open and the safe was permanently locked. The rooms were only cleaned every other day and only one towel per person. No iron unless you asked to loan one and then there was no ironing board. The smoking rooms were mixed with non-smoking so we could constantly smell smoke. There was very little entertainment so you'd need to venture out every night to the same strip of restaurants and bars. The kids club didn't happen every day and was very basic. The pool was the best (only) feature with lovely fountains.... but they were on a timer so only came on every now and again! Lots of sunbeds, never an issue but most of them close to the cafe were always in the shade so the layout and design meant most would sit beyond the pool on the grass. Lots of the sunbeds were broken. I suppose if you're looking for a clean room, nice pool and not much else, then it's a good place to stay with a short walk to shops and bars and restaurants. However, if you're looking for a hotel with amenities a hotel can offer then don't book here. I believe the website and the reviews here are misleading. It should clearly be stated that it's not a hotel, but it is a clean self catering apartment facility .More
