Brilliant Apartments

This place has a big lagoon pool and an international restaurant. Plus, there’s plenty here for children.

This place has a pair of pools. One’s a huge lagoon number with a Jacuzzi®, while the other’s a shallow pool just for children. There’s also an international restaurant with a spacious sea-view terrace.

These apartments are in the heart of Protaras, a couple of minutes’ walk from the nearest shops and tavernas. And it’s just a 15-minute walk to Fig Tree Bay, a sandy Blue Flag beach.

Still the best

Just come back from The Brilliant apartments on Sunday 27th September, this is the third time we have stayed here and it's still brilliant, the staff are the friendliest people in Cyprus, the rooms are very clean and the bed is the biggest I have ever seen. The food is good but could do with a few more options, we went self-catering so went out for food a fair bit,if you want a very, very good meal go to Olympus restaurant, it's without doubt the best meal I have ever had in any restaurant in the world. Getting back to the Brilliant apartments, will definitely be going again,I can't believe how anybody can rate it less than 4 stars. For me the only place to go.More

Just returned from another stay at these apartments looked at other places but decided to give it another go. Very expensive for what you get over the years have seen this place going downhill after renovations. After you renovate a place you have to maintain it or you go back to where you started broken tiles in lift floors chip tiles in bathrooms holes in curtains no soap in bathrooms ,entertainment not very good when it's on,food awful .Reception staff only shining light keeping this place going with attention and help given to residents with a happy smiley face cannot fault Lenia and Tracy on reception.Did visit Sunrise Gardens as this is part of the same group of hotels the difference between the two like night and day hope they maintain this hotel or it will just go same way or maybe THE BRILLIANT could get another makeover and bring it up to same standard and make it live up to what it's name says BRILLIANT.Sorry but this hotel/apartments is dying in front of the owners eyes.More

Great hotel, lovely staff!

Stayed at the Brilliant for my first visit to Cyprus and I'd definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. The hotel is kept impeccably clean and tidy, the rooms are a great size with plenty of furnishings (didn't even use half of them)! The staff are beyond friendly, nothing is too much trouble. As soon as you put your fork down the table is cleared!! I was really surprised at just how well you get looked after. Highly recommend!!! More

Andrea O,

So well looked after!

Spent a week here and had a fantastic time. It's very clean and well kept. The staff take extremely good care of you and ensure you have a great time. Nothing is too much trouble for them at all. It's in a good location with only a 5 minute walk to the town centre and a 10 minute walk to the beach. Wonderful!!More

Richie R,

Excellent family hotel

We arrived on 30/08/15 for two week stay. Family of 3 (son aged 2.5yr) Hotel/grounds/pool: Pros: Excellent lobby area, clean/tidy, pool is large and plenty space for everyone to lazy or play at their leisure without invading others space. Kids pool is away from main pool which is positive and negative depending on situation. Pool bar has same menu as main bar and plenty of choice. We ate there twice and it was fine hotel food and not badly priced, although 7euros for 3 ice-creams was a bit steep Cons: Some gardening work is needed round the kids pool as dead leaves need trimming. Water jets ect... all on timers, there are 6 water jet things around various places including rain shower in kids pool and seemed take it in turns, to be on for about 10 mins at a time. Biggest thing missing from pool is a slide. Rooms: We stayed in room 21 on the ground floor, this was a family room with large king size bed and bunk beds & sofa in living room. Pros: Large living & bedroom space, all appliances needed for self catering, plenty of cutlery and utensils. 4seater dining table & chairs. Aircon in both bedroom and living with separate controls. everything was clean and maid seemed to come daily. Cons: WIFI is limited, I got it sometimes if near the window TV has two English channels both news (BBC &SKY) The Aircon would sometimes bring in fag smells from other people's rooms. If your a light sleeper or kids can't have noise when they go to sleep, make sure you ask for a room facing towards lidl or the tennis courts as the entertainment can get loud, didn't bother us but I can see it being annoying for others. the location of the hotel is ideal and as others have said, lidl is your corner shop! The hotel is part of the sunrise group (pearl/gardens) who are all top on trip advisor so not surprising this hotel is off good standard. The only thing missing is wifi in the rooms! More
