Hotel Golden Coast

Don’t be fooled by this hotel’s sleepy setting – it still has plenty going on.

This hotel is in a really quiet spot, on the edge of Protaras. There’s a beach on the doorstep, and it’s a few minutes’ drive – or half an hour’s walk – to bars and restaurants.

All you need lies within the hotel’s borders. The pool is big, there’s a choice of restaurants, and the 3 bars range from quiet to lively. Entertainment-wise, there’s everything from tennis and squash to karaoke and cabaret.

Lovely hotel

Perfectly nice and clean hotel. Food was varied and nice. Right on the beach, big pool, lots of sunbeds. Staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel has everything you would need and the room we were in had lovely sea views. I would definitely return. The only thing I would say is the hotel is located a bit out of the way and there is a slight walk to any shops or restaurants, however, this may suit some people better as it is quiet.More

lovely hotel

We stayed here in April and the facilities and service were excellent. First class service, however it had only been open a few days so was quite empty, great for us - did meet several people that said in the height of season it is packed and you have to queue for your food! We had none of that so had a great time, pool a bit chilly though! Bus ride away from main town. If I had to moan it would be that you had to pay for the wireless for each device but it didn't detract from out holidayMore

Perfect holiday and wedding venue!!

We stayed at this hotel for the second time aug-sep 2014. We got married after 4 days of being on holiday then had another 10 days for honeymoon. There were 20 in out party including children. Our holiday was perfect... We were given a sea view room in the main building which was a lovely, clean modern room. We had other guests with us who had children so they had rooms with bunk beds which are at the back of the hotel but still nice rooms. The food area is very clean and you can see it being freshly cooked while you are there and they are constantly checking for what needs topping up. We found that we enjoyed the lunch time meals better than the evening meals and if the kids wanted chicken nuggets then the chef didn't mind cooking them, and brought over big plates of them. Our family are fussy eaters but there was a lot of choice and always something for everyone. There is a lot of choice and even a childrens corner. The location is set on a lovely private beach. You can walk into pernera town but if you want to go into the main town of protaras then it's very easy to get the bus or taxi from outside the hotel. We always got sunbeds infront of the pool and had lovely days lazing round the pool. We got married 4 days after being there and had the best day we could have have asked for. Everything was perfect! We got our hair and makeup down from the salon in the hotel and the girls were amazing! Maria (the wedding organiser) was so nice and made our day very special. She organised and arranged everything that we had asked for. We had our evening reception in the outdoor decking area and played our own music. The staff were very helpful and it was like we had out own private bar service because they were getting us drinks when ever we needed topping up. We all had a good dance and couldn't of faulted anything. All of the staff were very helpful and were making sure our day was perfect. We hired a private boat the day after the wedding from the harbour and had a 3 hour trip with our friends and family. This trip was better than we could of expected and the captain was lovely. We stopped at different parts and he let us jump in and snorkel . We all had a good drink , dance and it was a brilliant day. This holiday and wedding was just perfect and I wouldn't of changed a thing!! I would love to go it all over again and would def go backMore

Sarahpruce,

Fantastic family resort

Absolute excellent holiday. The staff here were lovely, friendly, approachable and just couldn't do enough for us. Food was fantastic. Rooms were spotless. Hotel facility's were outstanding. Quiet location, but excellent bus services to bigger resorts. Kids club was superb. Our two girls aged 5 & 9 loved it. Beach was outstanding and right on our doorstep. Views were excellent. We didn't want to come home. Will defiantly be going again. Ca recommend to anyone any age. Something for everyone 😃More

Archersontour,

Wonderful holiday - beautiful wedding venue

We stayed at this hotel from 21 October for our son's wedding. The hotel was lovely although the en-suite was a little tired and I agree with a previous reviewer about the thinness of the bedroom walls. However we had everything we needed and didn't find these two points spoiled our holiday. The staff were very friendly but professional and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was excellent and there was a very varied choice each day. The hotel and all the communal areas were very clean, it's right on the beach and towels were provided for use around the pool area. We arrived at 11.30pm on the first night and the sandwiches awaiting us in our room were a very welcome surprise. As our pick up on departure was 8.10pm we paid an extra 40 euros to keep our room and all inclusive wristbands and felt that this was well worth the extra cost. It was an absolutely beautiful setting for the wedding and everyone involved in organising this made sure the day was perfect from start to finish. The weather was lovely the week we were there, with rain only on one evening and a thunderstorm overnight. Once the clocks went back it was going dark around 5 o'clock but still lovely and warm during the day, I only felt the need for a jacket on one night. We all had a really lovely holiday and would go back again.More
