Don’t be fooled by this hotel’s sleepy setting – it still has plenty going on.
This hotel is in a really quiet spot, on the edge of Protaras. There’s a beach on the doorstep, and it’s a few minutes’ drive – or half an hour’s walk – to bars and restaurants.
All you need lies within the hotel’s borders. The pool is big, there’s a choice of restaurants, and the 3 bars range from quiet to lively. Entertainment-wise, there’s everything from tennis and squash* to karaoke and cabaret.

Wedding at the golden coast!!! 2 week stay!
Booked our wedding here with a 2 week stay through a recommendation from a travel agent who'd had her wedding here too!!!......excellent recommendation I must say! We arrived July 20th and our wedding was booked in for the 24th July! Most of the stuff I wanted to organise,as in organising which area of the hotel we wanted to get married and where to have our reception, type of meal we wanted for our guests......etc we're all organised through email,as easy as that and the rest of the stuff was organised the day after we arrived. Weddings in the UK take months of planning and organising but here it can simply be done with no problem in days! With help from your wedding co-ordinator ( ours was Rachel-Thomas Cook) and help from Maria who works at the hotel, everything was made so easy for us to arrange. We opted to get married on the hotels terrace, and also have our wedding reception on here too.On top of the price of your wedding package it cost us â¬95 to hire the terrace for the ceremony and reception, which is really good! After our ceremony which we had at 4.45pm (so it was abit cooler) while the terrace was getting set up for the reception,we hired the exclusive wedding open top bus! It was unreal! We kept it a secret from our guests as we wanted to surprise them with something abit different! The wedding bus included a free bar, whilst it toured the island which took just over an hour! Our guests loved it! Once we got back, the terrace was all set up ready for our wedding party! We paid Thomas Cook to decorate it for us, which they did a good job of. I took some decorations over myself to save some money,I took over my own chair ribbons (bought from Amazon) made my own table cards etc!!! This saved quite abit of money!!! We hired a DJ and had a BBQ! The food was amazing on the BBQ,different to what you normally eat at the hotel? Before the ceremony,me and some of the other guests from the wedding party had our hair and make up done at the hotels salon. The 2 English ladies that work there, were so lovely,we had a great laugh! I was so happy with how they done my hair and make up,I couldn't have wished for anything better! I didn't have a hair or makeup trial as they said I'd be wasting my money because if my hair or make up was done and I wasn't keen on it on the day, then they'd start it all over again and it wouldn't be a problem!!! We all drank champers while we were getting pampered,a really lovely start to an amazing day!!! The wedding day was more perfect and easy as I could have ever imagined,we absolutely loved it and I would highly recommend a wedding here!!! Holiday wise.... The hotel is lovely, well presented and clean! It's slightly secluded but you can walk into another part of the town which has shops, pubs, restaurants within 10-15 mins or you can get a bus into Protaras town which only costs â¬1.50 and takes about 10 mins (bus stop is outside the hotel) The food at the hotel is ok,I wouldn't say it was excellent. Some of the food was quite bland taste wise- most of the pastas didn't really have a taste, nothing really ever stood out for me! The food was very repetitive! The all inclusive part isn't very fair though, alot of things you had to pay for separately! Certain drinks etc...like alcopops, certain ice lollys....etc.. You can't get toasties or things like pizzas etc in between mealtimes.... Pool area is lovely, rooms are lovely, staff are lovely! The entertainment is ok,nothing special. Apart from the man who plays the piano most nights on the reception area where the bar is. He is absolutely amazing,he doesn't read from any music sheets,he just knows all of these amazing songs to play off by heart! He had standing ovations many times,he was excellent! Overall,if you are planning to have a wedding here or too just stay here,it's an amazing place and hotel, you'll have an amazing time!!!!More

Limassol28, Limassol, Cyprus
I was hoping for more but wan't too dissapointed
The hotel is not well situated if you like to walk to a lively spot. There is not much around except for a local town with local tourist trash. Hats, belts, Cyprus sweets, friendship bands and the like. The local town has an assortment of British based food but there are a couple of decent restaurants. You can even get a pizza hut meal deal if you really want to. The thing I liked about this hotel was the reception, you think you are going to enter a simple hotel lobby but you are instead presented with a grand marble based entrance. We arrived late but were well looked after and directed correctly to our room. We booked a superior sea view and it was exactly as I would expect. Free safe and free fridge key! Make sure you ask for the fridge key!! The beds were firm and reactively new, I slept well. The maid service was standard and came every day and when they were used to our habits of leaving late they managed around it with no complaints. The bathroom was clean and in order. We had a hair dryer that worked and decent enough soap and shower gel, we discarded our own in favour of the hotels. We had TV but it was rubbish, one channel was pretty much where stayed and that was because it kept repeating Ice Age 1-3. Coffee and tea were provided in the room and daily replenished, but if you like your tea get extra milk at breakfast. The balcony would of been nice if we had an outside light on the balcony. The fridge was not really that cold and to be honest we didn't bother with it. Our air con was great and the room came with a fan, setting this to low with the fan on made a really pleasant heat, at 40 degrees outside walking into a cool space was much needed. We turned our AC off at night and slept better. The hotel has good lifts but if you weigh too much don't get stuck! The pool area is lovely however be warned it can get slippery I saw a couple of people slip and bang their bones. The pool staff are dealing with all types of cultures and Russians all day long so don't be surprised if they just serve you and move on. Learn the local lingo and pay them some respect. They work very hard and get very little of recompense for what they do. We went all inclusive and this was OK, however the resort was publicly accessible and this made for paying customers receiving preferential treatment. If you go on a Greek bank holiday expect to be overrun with local visitors. The beer is rubbish, the spirits are weak and too sweet! The wine is nice and gets your drunk a lot quicker than the vodka. The food is cooked on the day, has flavour but is not top quality, edible but not extremely enjoyable! Not a lot of choice but not a lot of waste meaning the food seemed fresh. Although going out for a night to a restaurant where you are paying for the food seemed a lot better and tastier than the hotel grub. The service areas are clean and tidy and the drink dispensers are free of mess and there are no wasp or bugs attacking you when you get your food and drink. As a British tourist I prepared myself and my family for the eastern European culture and Russian element that uses the hotel. Once the adjustment had been realised living alongside these cultures was not that hard. Read up on why they are so moody and why they don't say thank you! Overall the hotel was great, for the money I would of liked better but as we booked during August everything is so over priced its hard to differentiate between the really good and the just good!. The entertainment was fun, but you really have to get in to the swing, its not your X Factor style more like a make up as we go along type of entertainment with any mix of language being used at any time. It was repetitive which just show laziness or lack of imagination. They stayed to the script and it showed. The hotel put on extra themed nights but they were short and lacked umph! We tried to get involved but it was just.... boring. There were no discos, and half the hotel was off limits, I don't know why this was, seating area's and bars were simply not used and closed. Abra Kebabra in Penera served fantastic food and reasonably priced Hotel: In the lift, get off at -1 floor for the pool its much quicker than ground. Get a bus to Aiya Nappa its great. Go to Serena Bay a 10 minute walk, turn left out the hotel on the seaside path and follow the bay around the small harbor until you get to a secluded beach, lovely bar and great food. If its hot, then make sure you sit under a fan in the hotel eating areas. You can change your beach towels daily Don't shop on resort, use the shop just outside the hotel. Remember if you have a late flight you need to provision for food and drink, as they will cut off your all inclusive bands past 12 pm.More

Good service, appalling food.
The hotel itself is lovely, nice pool and so close to the beach. The staff are so friendly and helpful, will go that extra mile for you but the food....below cat food standard. Was half board and spent most of the time eating out, if that could be sorted would highly recommend.More
stayed for a wedding
Stayed here for a week as my daughter was getting married from there.Everything about the week was amazing, the Hotel ,the food and especially the staff, from breakfast to the evening meal they never stopped working .it was like a well oiled cog ran like clockwork.Andy the night porter was so versatile, serenading us at the evening meal then working through the night on the desk. There is only one thing I have to say which is negative and that is that the Hotel could do with a slight makeover ,not enough electrical sockets and the hairdryer may as well not have been there, but other than that it was amazing ,if you are getting Married here the Hotel hair and make up girls are brilliant ,chill you out before the wedding and are so helpful.xxMore
