Don’t be fooled by this hotel’s sleepy setting – it still has plenty going on.
This hotel is in a really quiet spot, on the edge of Protaras. There’s a beach on the doorstep, and it’s a few minutes’ drive – or half an hour’s walk – to bars and restaurants.
All you need lies within the hotel’s borders. The pool is big, there’s a choice of restaurants, and the 3 bars range from quiet to lively. Entertainment-wise, there’s everything from tennis and squash to karaoke and cabaret.

Last of the warm sun
Exceptionally nice service from the staff, good clever and not intrusive animation team, had HB, food at dinner times below 4 star rating, local beverages very good. Stayed in the room with the jacuzzi on the terrace, it was the dream holiday having the perfect seaview from there with the palm trees and the little white-blue chapel. Weather was slightly cloudy with some rain, but still enjoyed the beach and the sea every day, despite being there in the last week October. Would recommend, lovely place. (Room: Cons (didn't spoil it for us) We were on the first floor and had ants in all the time everywhere, may have been due to the weather. Loo didn't flush properly. Funnily no loo-brush. Pros: Shower was great!)More

Autumn in the Sun
Just returned from an Autumn half term break at the Golden Coast Beach Hotel. A little bit of rain but predominantly sun and warmth. On Saturday we visited the Ghost Town of Famagusta an interesting trip into North Cyprus for just 24 euros and on that day the temperature reached 31C with perfect Blue skies. The Golden Coast Beach is a good hotel very clean and the staff still friendly and happy even though it was the last week of the season. The all inclusive package was worth the money with a great choice of food (very Greek inspired) and drink. The hotel is a short walk through the gardens to a very nice beach with shallow waters to swim in. The hotel has a good swimming pool which was not heated but was not too cold along with an indoor jacuzzi and swimming pool (again not heated). When we were there the pools were predominantly empty. Blue beach towels are provided by the hotel so don't bother packing your own. Around the pools and in the garden are plenty of sun beds, we has no problems find five together. If you want venture out of the hotel then you cvan walk in both directions around the coast for some way. If you leave the hotel and turn to the right when you reach the beach you can follow a path past another hotel and arrive after 10 minutes on a beautiful board walk which goes all the way to Protaras, I am sure Protara is alive in the summer but in October it resembles the ghost town of Famagusta. If you wish to catch the bus this is 1.5 euros for a single fare and 5 euros for a day ticket. You can visit the aquarium on the way to Paralimni or the water park at Agia Napa. Paralimni is worth a visit to see a typical Cypriot town with the lovely St Georges church but there is not much else there. All in all a very good hotel and nicely positioned if you don't want to just stay put.More
Good Hotel, Stayed in October 2015
Stayed here the week before the kids broke up 18th Oct - 29th Oct, really good hotel, food lovely, pool, beach all really nice. The Animation team was really good (especially Alex and Sam) Songs got a bit repetitive at the kids club for the adults but our kids loved it, the shows after were quite good as-well. Couple of pointers: at dinner, they had a guy playing the organ, (the days when we had to eat inside, because of the weather) it was just too much, very loud and distracting! Also you had to que to get a table at each meal, sometimes was queuing for quite a while to get a table. A bit out of Protaras town centre but this didn't bother us as theres a bus stop right outside and only takes ten minutes or so. Most of the staff are really friendly and helpful and would not hesitate in coming back in a few years (proving the organ man tones it down ha ha ). Thanks for a lovely a stay. xMore
