Don’t be fooled by this hotel’s sleepy setting – it still has plenty going on.
This hotel is in a really quiet spot, on the edge of Protaras. There’s a beach on the doorstep, and it’s a few minutes’ drive – or half an hour’s walk – to bars and restaurants.
All you need lies within the hotel’s borders. The pool is big, there’s a choice of restaurants, and the 3 bars range from quiet to lively. Entertainment-wise, there’s everything from tennis and squash to karaoke and cabaret.

If your going to get married abroad, this is the hotel to do it in, from start to finish everything rang absolutely perfect. A special thanks to Maria & Cristos who made this wedding so special for my daughter & her now husband. The venue was decorated absolutely beautiful looking out to sea,the food was lovely & our own personal DJ for all 30 of us was also brill. This was also our first family holiday with the grandchildren who had an absolute ball in the pool everyday, also very excited being able to have pop & ice cream on tap. Hotel, Staff, food, cant fault anything.More
Too many children
We have just returned from this hotel, and my biggest gripe was the amount of children that were there, especially as the new school term had started. Noisy and unruly children screeching and running around everywhere, not very relaxing for those of us who don't have any!! We didn't get the room which we booked, but apparently were given an upgrade, I'm not convinced of this, even though we had a side view of the sea, the room and bathroom were slightly dated, and the carpet puckering through the room. It would have been nice to have had use of the mini fridge to keep water cool, but this was locked. Free safe though, which was good. Meal times were annoying as you had to wait in a large que, to be seated, this wouldn't have been so bad if there was more than one person doing it, which there wasn't. Food was good, but on a few occasions was not very hot. Top tip get to breakfast before 10, as they pack the food away sharpish. We won't be returning to this hotel, it's an adults only holiday for us next time.More
Stayed here recently for 2 weeks. After reading the reviews we were slightly underwhelmed on arrival. The lobby looks old fashioned but spotlessly clean. There are two lifts which service the whole of the hotel and this means a long wait on occasions. Our room was extremely tired the bath had patches of rust on it and the towels were grey not white and threadbare sometimes. However as said before it was cleaned very well. The rest of the room was once again very dated and we were a bit disappointed. We had a sea view and the view was spectacular. Tea and coffee facilities and free fridge and free safe. Plenty of storage space. The beds were very hard and the sheets once again were grey not white. The pillows were very grim. If you pulled back the pillow cases the pillows were covered with yellow stains not good. I do believe some rooms have had a make over and are apparently beautiful with marbled surface etc. However ours was very over due. There were 2 restaurants being used one for breakfast and evening meal, the other beside the pool for lunches. The food was alright there was the usual plentiful salad bar and cold cheeses and always a roast meat to choose from. I do believe even the pickiest eater would be able to find something. The staff were very obliging and would do anything to make you comfortable. The pool was clean and very welcoming on a red hot day. The sun beds were covered with a plastic mattress which made them comfortable but they were quite shabby and looked a bit dirty in spite of the cleaning staff who were out at the crack of dawn hosing everything down. You could help yourself to new pool towels whenever you wished which once again is great. Evening entertainment was not too good, a resident pianist Michael was very good but after a few days it's a bit boring. The trouble with this hotel is its location. Please don't misunderstand me it's a very beautiful area but there is literally nothing around there. Once you have looked round the harbour and little chapel then really that's it. You can reach other bars in nearby pernera after a 30 minute stroll. Overall we would not return to this hotel as it's far too dated and far too out of the way. The views are very picturesque tho.More
Brilliant hotel with great staff and food.
Stayed for 10 nights, the hotel and staff were brilliant. The food is good and something different every night. The hotel is very clean and of a good standard throughout. The hotel has an animation team who are just brilliant, nothing too much trouble and plenty of activities to keep you active and make the holiday more fun!! There are a few minor things which stop me giving it 5 stars. this isn't the place to go if you want peace and quiet, we booked when we thought the kids would have gone back to school but it was still full of screaming kids and also rude Russians who think it is acceptable to push in and smoke at the dinner table when you are trying to eat your meal next to them. The entertainment whilst dining is awful and makes you want to eat quicker to escape it. All in all a very good holiday, met some nice people and would go back again. More
visited for two weeks early September, myself and my wife. check in was extremely quick and simple, pool towels already in room, changeable at the spa when necessary , sweets and snack bar in room on arrival. Room: clean, adequate size, large double bed with enough storage space for two adults. bathroom clean with range of bathing accessories, although the room and bathroom looking a bit "tired", in need of update. the sea view was lovely although if booking sea view room ask for 3rd or 4th floor as 1 and 2 had some trees in front of balcony. the room was cleaned adequately every day. the hotel gives the impression that it is a bit dated but everything works and mostly clean. plenty of sun beds to go round, although the ones on the grassy area down by the beach get reserved early, more for the location than the bed. tables for sunbeds are virtually non exhistant. only saw 3 tables by the sunbeds through 2 weeks. Dining, the dining was good with two dining rooms one for breakfast and dinner and another overlooking the harbour for lunch , which was one of the best views from a hotel dining room I have experienced, the food was generally good and nearly always piping hot as it is mostly cooked in front of you in the open kitchens. there is a good choice well prepared. sweets were divine. all the food was quickly replaced, with freshly cooked items, when needed. the only drawback was that the roasts at the carvery were a little dry. i found the lamb dishes extremely tasty and abundant. lots of sea food I can recommend the mediteranian shellfish in a lovely dill sauce. you have to wait to be seated in both restaurant which some people found annoying as you could see there were lots of tables set and unoccupied. this worked well for me as it meant the buffet counter was not overrun and the chefs could keep up with demand. it also meant that the head waiter could interact with each customer. however, as happens, some impatient types would simply walk in and pick a nice table. annoying when you are in a queue. this was not any one nationality but a cross section of all. ( you know who you are) LOL. Bars,Drinks, pool bar and entertainment bar. both adequately staffed always served promptly with little waiting even though the hotel was at capacity. drinks were hit and miss. the wines with meals were very drinkable, the beer was the usual local cold lager which hit the spot. do try the local brandy, it will make you appreciate Aldi's own brand. they do a rang of cocktails for A/Inc which looked good and seemed to be going down well. the strength of the spirits with mixers depended on who was serving but asking for a little more spirit did the trick. most of the staff in the bars were cheerful, friendly and accommodating, a couple of them, I felt, were having a laugh between themselves ( ham and eggs ) at the expense of the customers but, I guess when you are working long hours a little bit of humour is helpful. Entertainment, 2 or 3 very good acts during the week with the usual stuff for the rest of the week. Michael on the piano, most nights early evening and after the main entertainment, was superb and will play any request, if he doesn't know it he will learn it for the following night. Very interesting guy if you get a chance get to know him. entertainment staff keep everyone happy and involved whenever possible Overall a thoroughly enjoyable holiday, met some lovely people both at the hotel and out and about. if you like boat trips try the yellow boat from the harbour, great value with friendly staff. would i go back? yes at some time.More
