The Club Del Sol has claimed a good-looking spot on the edge of Puerto Pollensa, 5 minutes’ walk from a pebbly beach. You get first rate views of the bay from the hotel’s gardens, where you’ll find 2 pools – the huge main one comes with a pool bar. Plus, kids are sorted with a brand new splash park complete with brightly-coloured slides. Inside, apartments come with kitchenettes for rustling up snacks. You can also eat at the hotel’s buffet restaurant. And when you want to head out, Puerto Pollensa’s sandy beach and restaurant-packed prom is a 20-minute walk away, or 5 on the bus, which stops just outside.

All the good things you read and hear about this hotel are true. What really makes the hotel is the staff. They couldn't do enough for you, they make you feel like your all one big family. The bar staff Tony, Alex and Xavier are very friendly and a good laugh. The entertainers Rachel and Alex were fantastic a great laugh worked non stop friendly and entertaining. We stay here in September. Two couples. We are early thirties and my parents in there 60s and we all had the same opinion. It was my mums 60th and they couldn't of done more to make her feel special. The hotel is very clean nice drink and good food. The choice at lunch time is quite limited but still nice. Very good veggie choice and ample for all. Whilst I stayed in hotels with more choice the quality of food was as nice as I've eaten. The rooms are nothing special but nice and big. Our room was above the bar and it was loud but we never went up til after the music finished but if your the type to go to bed before 11 probably best to stay in a different block. 15 mins to beach walking and 30 to harbour. A bus takes couple mins. We also got the bus into alcudia which is easy and takes about 10mins, bit more lively there. Perfect for families or couplesMore
Very pleasant stay here
Lovely hotel, lovely staff and good food. Being a veggie I was impressed with the choice and variations of the meat free dishes on offer. No veggie lasagne in sight! Breakfast was a big hit with my husband, English breakfasts every morning for him. The hotel room was clean and comfortable. There was entertainment every night and kids were catered for too. They all enjoyed junior disco and even had a reptile show which our little one really enjoyed. The location is right on the edge of Puerto Pollenca. If you want a wander into the town it takes about 40 minutes to walk although there is a bus right outside the hotel. We never got the bus as we quite liked the walk but from chatting to other residents, the busses were very frequent. There is a beach opposite the hotel but it's not the kind of beach you would want to sit on and sunbathe. The beach near the town itself is a lovely, clean beach with clear waters but again, it's a 40 minute walk or a bus ride to get there. Overall, a great place to stay if you have a young family. I would definatly reconmmmend staying there.More

Very Nice Hotel
I had a lovely weeks holiday at the Club del Sol :) the place was very clean, food was excellent and the staff couldn't have been better. I upgraded to a one bed apartment, which was large and spotless. The patio doors opened on to the pool area which was great. I was a little disappointed with the bed and bedding, certainly not 4 star and let the hotel down, I found my bed uncomfortable and the pillow fairly useless. I also feel the large water feature in front of block 5 is unsightly and needed a good clean - not that this effected my holiday in anyway. First Choice advertised this as Puerto Pollensa but it is a good 15 min walk to the start of Puerto Pollensa. It is a nice walk and we done it at least twice a day with a pushchair so I wouldn't let it put anyone off going but do think First Choice should make it clear as the walk is along a very busy road. The bus stops outside of the hotel if you don't fancy the walk.More

First all inclusive holiday
The club de sol was a lovely hotel. The staff so friendly and accommodating. The food and menu were of a very high quality, something to suit everyone's taste. The room was spotless with loads of hot water in the shower, a great plus. We had a room overlooking the " noisy pool". That was ok because it was the end of season and the entertainment had stopped for the season. If we were to return we would opt for an apartment by the quiet pool. We hired bikes from the hotel. They were ok, if not a bit heavy and cumbersome. We had a great time at the hotel and would definitely return. It was an extremely efficient and well organised hotel.More

bookings down and I dont understand why ( It was half term )
I have just returned from club del sol ( 30.10.13 ). everything said is true, its a lovely place with great staff. I was a returning guest. Nobody has mentioned the lack of guests. It was half term week and I was expecting it too be fairly busy just like last year when I was there. The hotel became so empty there were six family's left on our last evening and it was not due to close for the season until the 2nd november. The restaurant cooked our evening meal to order. The evening entertainment was all but cancelled, the games room had been locked for the season ( this directly affected my family ) , we had no outside cabarets in our seven days there, the childrens club had been stopped despite children being there. There was one family left with 2 full days to go in an empty hotel ( Hi Liz Alex Oscar and Lucy ) First Choice should have given guests an alternative choice of hotel if the facilities and entertainment could not be met.More
