As a last minute booking at this hotel the other week, I was a little dubious but my fears were soon alaid once we arrived.Fab hotel and staff, nothing was to much trouble,my husband asked if we could possibly have extra pillows, they arrived within minutes. The staff are amazing, the food was a a very high standard.Customer Service is A1. A great location with the local bus for the town right outside. To top it all the weather for October was fantastic. A definate place and hotel I will be recommending to all my family and friends. Lincolnshire pleased family.More
This hotel was brilliant. Lovely facilities for the kids, lovely kids club staff, we got a room on ground level ideal for having 2 prams with us, and a hop leap and a jump from the pool. Not at all noisy at night, food was varied and well done, reasonable choice for picky toddlers! The room itself was clean and of a good size. We found the mattresses a little bit hard, but otherwise good. The TV was flatscreen and had a reasonable number of english language channels including BBC1+2, and news and CBBC. The entertainment programme was good, and the hotel had regular trips and bus service to the local towns. The staff were really friendly. I was a bit concerned before coming on this holiday by the very few bad reviews on trip advisor, but honestly I don't know what those people are on. It is hard to find anything wrong with this hotel at all. Good value for money, a holiday much enjoyed.More
Service with a smile
Upon arriving at the hotel I was surprised that it was a 4 star as it didn't look like one. But when you go for your food or to the bar the service of the staff is amazing, as soon as you go to the restaurant your greeted with a smile and a hello, the restaurant was very clean with a good selection of food and drink (ate far to much!) the staff were brilliant plates were taken away a soon as you finished and any problems were dealt with. Then into the bar where your greeted by tony, Alex and xisco (I think) with a warm smile and a laugh, the staff work incredibly hard and are a credit to the hotel. There is a small splash park which the kids enjoyed and a kids club that my daughter loved going to coming back with pictures and stories of what she had been up to (thanks goergie porgie) The only down side is the distance to the towns but there is a bus service or taxi that can be booked through reception. Rooms were not a bad size, and the shower was surprisingly powerfull and warm, the rooms were also clean and tidy. Overall a pleasent stay made more enjoyable by the staffMore
Excellent Value For Money
Just returned on 19th October 2014. Stayed as a couple.Booked through First choice / Thomson and we can't complain. Everything went smoothly.Excellent value for money. Weather lovely. Hotel is good. The food is ok. Not as plentiful compared to what we have previuosly received , at other 4* establishments, but all in all acceptable. Communal areas, bars, pools and gardens are very clean and very well maintained. Our room was cleaned everyday apart from Thursday and to a very good standard. Plenty of sunbeds and no need to reserve them so we got a well earned lie in every day. Animation team excellent although we didn't wish to join in because we hadn't had a break for a very long time and they understood that. They were not pushy or in your face. It was your choice. What we saw them doing was really good. The kids in the hotel were looked after very well. professional shows were fantastic especially George Penna (unsure on the spelling). We stayed in bloque 4 and couldn't have chosen better. Our apartment led straight out onto the main pool area and was near the bar and restaurant. There are other bloques across the road which are very peacful with there own pool, but they don't have a pool bar. But if your not a drinker then this area is for you. We like a day drink so the main pool area was better for us. Our main complaint was the wifi is rubbish and a waste of money personally. Realistically I have stayed at better 4* hotels, I think it is a very good 3*. We think it will be very busy in the height if summer? So we will not hesitate to return again in low season next year.More
Food was excellent with a varied choice. The staff were friendly and always helpful. Yes the location is a bit remote but that didn't bother us as we went to walk anyway, and the bus service in either direction was regular. Everything was always clean and tidy and in the restaurant no sooner had you finished your course your empty plate was whisked away. I would recommend this resort but with the proviso if you have any taste in wine pay the extra 4 euros for a bottle.More
