This hillside hotel comes with a bay view and a beach on tap.
A handy lift connects to the beach, where there are pedalos and kayaks. And the pine forests and coastal paths are always at your disposal. Shops, bars and restaurants are a 5-minute walk away.
This place has an enviable setting – it looks down on San Miguel Bay, so sea views and seriously good sunsets are par for the course.

Club San Miguel Ibiza
Didn't like it when we first arrived as our room was right by the children's pool. As an older couple we wanted a room on the other side as it was quieter. We went to reception and she said she would try to get us moved. The next day she took us to a third floor room, loved it although we didn't have any lifts and had to walk up and down the stairs. We could use the hotel San Miguel which is above the club San Miguel. We spent a lot of time there as it was more for the older couple. You could still get your drinks and food free if you were all inclusive. Club San Miguel is fantastic if you have young kids. The staff were friendly and very helpful. You can get a boat from the beach to go to other islands quite well priced. No night life so if you are looking for clubs and bars it's not the place to go. More
Very nice area
I visited here with my husband and 17yo daughter in UK May/June half term. Hotel: As it was half term it was at full capacity. Unless you got up at 5 o'clock to reserve your lounger there was zero chance of getting a space. We were lucky to be happy to sit at a table. It is well maintained, tired in places, but in no way unpleasant. The room we had was nice and kept superbly clean and tidy, though (although I cannot prove so) something did go missing which was truly disappointing. The staff are attentive but don't really smile, interact or join in with UK banter. I asked one barman, jokingly, why he looked so miserable and he shrugged saying he was bored and hot. The restraunt is small and offers a nice enough spread but the orange juice on tap tastes more like Berocca. There are plenty of things for little one's to do, but not really teenage friendly, although the Internet coverage was good so she was happy. The pool is nice and so is the play area. *Thompson rep was appalling! The welcome meeting was shoddy, talked us all out of most of the trips, was more than once rude, and selective with who she spent time with/nice to. Local Area: Absolutely beautiful! The hotel accesses the beach directly, costs 6.00€ for a lounger, but when we were there we couldn't go in the sea as there were hundreds of jellyfish. The restraunts are nice. Visit the caves!! And....there is a secluded beach called Utopia which was cool. Use the bus to visit the other side of the Island, 2.80€, bargain. In general: There is lots to do if you have plenty of spending money. An example is the catermaran trip we went on cost us a total of 240.00€ and at the beach restraunt paella for 3 with 3 soft drinks cost 109.00€. I recommend hiring a scooter and going for a mooch about. There are lovely, friendly local areas, markets and beaches and the roads are not too scary. More
Came here weather was lovely. Quick check in. Beach is beautiful and there are lots of sea life to swim with. Nice green hills and very peaceful. The glass bottom boat is a waste of time and money. Saw nothing. Captain said nothing and the advert with pictures of starfish is for illustration purpose only. The cave tour as rubbish as boat. You climb a mountain to get there and then down a million steps to the cave down a cliff. You seen one cave you seen them all. Not worth the money. The hotel. Very clean and tidy. Food is ok a good selection but a bit over cooked but edible. Rooms are nice overlooking the bay. The pool is so awful. If you manage to be lucky enough to get a seat the pool is slightly less cold than the artic. Even if you ease yourself in it winds you and is so cold its unreal. There's nothing to do at night unless you like drinking so take a book. The area is very nice and relaxing and the hotel is nice but nothing special. The hippy market is nice with lots of stalls but shop around for a bargain. More
Best of Both Worlds
We stayed at the San Miguel Beach club which was very much a family resort, but you could also use the facilities at Cartago Hotel which was more for adults. Both good in their own rights. The food was good, we ate mainly in Cartago which was much bigger. Nee and Emily were excellent reps and helped us with any queries we had. Jordan from the Kids Club was helpful to us as well, although we had no kids. I believe San Miguel Beach Club will be getting a revamp later this year, so enjoy the value now as no doubt the price will increase to reflect this. Met some nice people, joined in some of the activities, weather was fabulous. Would go back again, but perhaps stay in Cartago and enjoy San Miguel Beach Club facilities.More
Good value for money
It's abit dated but other than that can't really fault it. Entertainment was fab, staff were lovely and really good with the kids. Food was nice and different everyday. It's abit out the way of everything but if you don't mind getting the bus then there's lots to do. Would visit again :)More
