This hillside hotel comes with a bay view and a beach on tap.
A handy lift connects to the beach, where there are pedalos and kayaks. And the pine forests and coastal paths are always at your disposal. Shops, bars and restaurants are a 5-minute walk away.
This place has an enviable setting – it looks down on San Miguel Bay, so sea views and seriously good sunsets are par for the course.

With a fabulous view over the bay and right next to the bar, this offers a beautiful setting to relax. The kids have their own section of the pool to splash around in. With sunbeds and parasols.
Kids can run riot in the sand playground. There are enough slides and swings to satisfy even the most energetic.
Activities include football, darts and volleyball. In the evening get involved in the game style shows such as men v women, or enjoy a variety of shows such as magicians, acrobats and singers. And come the evening, the kids will love dancing away at the mini-disco.

Entertainment very poor
Went here in October and stayed in the Cartago hotel which is very nice. It is one of the sister hotels of San Miguel. Food is very good at the Cartago and rooms are nice. The views are amazing as it is overlooking a lovely cove. It is a very quiet resort. There are activities through the day but when it comes evening entertainment it is very poor. As for the animation team they are very poor to. Everyone goes on about this Zorro who is in charge of the animation team but he is very poor to do not know why he is so highly rated.More

A Great Beach Hotel
A little late posting this, but i stayed here in September for 7 nights with my fiancée and we had a fantastic time. We arrived early afternoon and was checked in very quickly but unfortunately we had to change the first room we were given as it was a ground floor room about 5 meters away from the pool which we didn't really fancy, but would be perfect for anybody with walking difficulties as there are no lifts in this hotel. The room we were given in the end was perfect and in a quiet location away from the pool area, it was cleaned with fresh towels daily and linen changed 3 times, the bathroom had a large sink area and a hair dryer too so we had no complaints with the room whatsoever. The day we arrived we ate lunch and dinner in the Beach Club restaurant which depending on your taste isn't fantastic because of the low range of options but my fiancée had been to this hotel a couple of times before so we knew before hand that it was better to book the restaurant up in the hotel every day, though we ate breakfast in the Beach Club restaurant each day which was nice. The tapas bar is also included in the all inclusive which is a nice little place to have a drink and a snack, i definitely recommend booking and giving the Chinese restaurant a try, it's a buffet with typical "Western" style Chinese food and it was very nice indeed. We always had a quick something to eat for lunch from the Western Saloon snack bar which does everything you would expect from a snack bar like: burgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets and chips etc... The pool area, was always very active in the day time with different activities on everyday like archery, rifle shooting and water polo but if you are looking for a more relaxed pool scene then you should go up to the hotel pool which was always more quiet, just not as big. The beach is literally just outside the hotel and we never had a problem getting a sun bed, though this could have been because we went out of the main peak season. The location of the hotel is just okay, there is a couple of bars and a few shops just outside the hotel but nothing much, so if you wanted to get out and see more of Ibiza you'll need to hope on the bus to Ibiza Town or book an excursion. The nightly entertainment was always great fun and hilarious! Zorro the main entertainer is really good at what he does and always has the crowd laughing, the whole entertainment team are excellent and it really was one of the highlights of this holiday for me. Yes Zorro's games and banter can come across as sexist as some people have said but he's just having a laugh and has been for the last 15 years or so. Overall we had a brilliant time at the Club San Miguel and we will go back in the future. It's definitely a cheap and cheerful hotel and doesn't claim to be anything more, so if you're expecting a typical Spanish 3* all inclusive hotel then you will have a great time.More

Late Autumn Relaxation
Went here as a couple for a week in October. Couldn't fault the staff who were friendly helpful and informative. The Waiting staff were very quick to clear away (occasionaly a little too quick) but the food was excellent and the restaurant spotless. Surprisingly the wine in the rstaurant was better than that over the bar. The Chinese restaurant was available to book at 24 hrs notice as part of the AI package. Entertainment and animation staff were superb and had an a mazing memory for names. The bar staff were quick and cheerful, the snack bar provided standard fare. The decor was a little dated and there was a minor issue with the noise from bin lorries.in the morning. On arrival we asked to change rooms as we were originally in a connecting room where you could here everthing through the link door. With the help of the Holiday rep this was done with a minimum of fuss. Probably the most enjoyable feature of the Hotel was the proximity to the beach where you could wade out to chest height and feed large fish with bread or popcorn. This became a daily ritual cooling off in the sea while feeding the fish. There were a lot of family groups along with couples of all ages the mix was great and all in all this was a friendly relaxed environment that could be enjoyed by most.More
Perfect September break
Just back from a week All inclusive at Club San Miguel. Stayed with my in laws, wife 1 year old son and 3 year old daughter. Exceeded my expectations as got a relatively cheap package deal with Thompson. Plus points are the beach which made the holiday for me and the kids. The tapas and Chinese restaurants which are both nice touches. The fact you could eat and drink in the two hotels split the days. All the staff - as everywhere spotless and all really pleasant. The entertainment team which work hard and we're really fun especially for my kids. Food was as expected and I enjoyed it. Drinks were good. Basically lots of positives. Only real negative for me which was more an annoyance than anything was the steps everywhere and the hit and miss lifts. Difficult when you have a pram and near impossible if you have a double buggy like us - which wouldn't even fit in the lift hence carrying my son everywhere, but we knew this was an issue by reading other reviews so was aware. Sports bar 2 min walk away handy for football. Few shops and restaurants all within 2 min walk. Caves nearby to visit - again not great for children given the steps and obviously the beach and pools. All In all a good break and would definitely recommend More
