This hillside hotel comes with a bay view and a beach on tap.
A handy lift connects to the beach, where there are pedalos and kayaks. And the pine forests and coastal paths are always at your disposal. Shops, bars and restaurants are a 5-minute walk away.
This place has an enviable setting – it looks down on San Miguel Bay, so sea views and seriously good sunsets are par for the course.

Family holiday for 10
Fantastic port san miguel is a very quiet resort with a lot of hidden treasures.10 of us holidayed here in August ranging from 6 to 60 and there was never a dull moment from poolside entertainment to secluded coves shopping at the hippy market in es cana beaching day in portinax 3 visits to san antonio discovering hidden gems and utopia beach delighting our taste buds whether in the hotel or at the famous balansat restaurant which is just a 2 minute walk from hotel cartago and hotel club san miguel. Drinks and kebabs at zorros bar there really was so much to take in. The hotel is lovely clean and all the staff are very helpful it is on a steep incline if using the club san miguel amenities or accessing the beach however there is a lift .Yes sunbeds are taken up early but we never had a problem securing our 7.There is very few Street sellers in the resort and therefore if your looking to grab bargains take a trip into the bigger resorts where there's more competition. Getting around is super easy it's a bit of a walk to the bus stop but don't let that put you off its only â¬2.10 direct to san antonio on a Tuesday or Thursday last bus back in 5pm if u want to stay later you could get a bus from San Antonio to ibiza town and change last bus back to resort is 1am but if u party animals are enjoying yourself too much a taxi back to resort will cost approximately â¬45.00. Taxi to portinax is â¬10 the beach is exquisite it's a busy beach but the waters are crystal clear and warm (I'm not a beach fan) but even I enjoyed this day. The bus to the hippymarket on a Wednesday is a little over â¬3.00 each get your bargains and gifts for home and enjoy the electric atmosphere we certainly did. The best hidden gem we found was the sunday sunset at Benirras beach this is typically a local affair we found only by the accident of Google.enjoy the beach at benirras throughout the day take a picnic beers and your set for the spectacular sunset the finger of God looms out in the sea follow the cover round and the sound of the drummers will emerse you into another dimension the atmosphere on this little beach is electric we hit it at full moon completely accidental and what a surprise awaited us cirque de solais performers 100s of drummers fire eaters and performance artists very few tourists and outstanding food and cocktails at elements â¬12.00 in a taxi each way it is extremely busy we waited over an hr for a taxi back the road down to benirras was blocked with traffic but didn't dampen our spirits it's very well organised with security staff around the area of taxis if you choose to eat at the restaurants expect to pay between â¬10.00 and â¬45.00 for a main course burgers at elements were â¬20.00 each drinks vary cocktails â¬10.00 pints of estrella were â¬2.80 each from the other restaurant or pack for the day and will cost a lot less. San Antonio fiesta was on when we were there 25th August we didn't go as had spent a few days in san an already but other guests were saying how great it was. Ibiza is a small island but don't be put off by the small resort of San Miguel you really get the best of both worlds. We are taking a break from European holiday destinations but this is definitely a destination we would return to.More
We are normally five star people but for three stars I can't really fault. Staff were excellent and our rooms were cleaned every day. I'm a really fussy eater but I found something to suit me everyday. Breakfast was really good. Lovely resort if you want free WiFi most of the bars have it. Lovely beach and lots of excursions from there. Entertainment ok but not really for me but they did have some really good singers. My only real moan is that the beds are rock hard. Overall would I come back yes lovely little resort and good clean hotelMore
Well where to start ... Hotel is in a nice quiet location, with its own beach and some local shops and bars! Me and My partner stayed here for 11 nights and we enjoyed every minute of it and we made some good friends. Food was really good. Good selection of foods, also you can book into the Chinese restaurant that's in the sister hotel and eat here ð, it was very yummy!! The sister hotel was more quiet and the pool was tiny!!! Staff where brilliant and very kind, rooms where cleaned everyday! Also it's easy to get a bus to San Antonio! Great holiday Definitely going to go back next year!!!!More
KIDS HOTEL ONLY
let me start with the good points of the hotel, its next to an average beach, the breakfast is quite good and the hotel is painted white.......the rooms are quite large [they are built for families] but basic and are well cleaned the ground floor rooms offer no privacy,if you are out for the day people will park pushchairs etc in your entrance. For anyone with a mobility problem be it slight this hotel is not for you,,,3 floors no lifts even the restaurant is on the first floor..The hotel food is typical 2 star, one night sausages were the main meal!!!! ..The hotel is geared for families not couples or older people and the entertainment is styled on Butlins or Pontins during the day and evening with Mr club san miguel or Miss club san miguel and similar types of entertainment ,in 2 weeks we saw a hypnotist [average] and 2 poor singers. There is a free flowing pool and a kiddies paddling pool on what could be best described as a car park without the white markings,no attempt to pretty the place up.The staff with the exception of Pedro, Veronica and the man on reception are pretty dour .There is a snack bar named the Western saloon which had it been in the UK would be closed for health and hygiene its is styled in the 70s and probably never been updated, but credit where credits due the chef running it is excellent in his hygiene habits a credit to the hotel.. we never used the chinese restaurant during our stay..the resort of san miguel is about 200 yards long, 3 shops and 2 restaurants and a sports bar !!!! absolutley nothing to go out for on an evening. during our stay you can see the couples wandering round the hotel thinking "what are we doing here"and other people never leaving their chair or sunbed near to the pool just drinking lager while their kids ,especially on an evening running wild.Do not come here when uk kids are supposed to be at school, because you will be disappointed Club san miguel guests must have some kind of exemption... BOTTOM LINE would we come back to this hotel?...NEVER...not even if it was free..is the hotel geared for older couples?...NO..is this the worst resort we have been to?...YES,,is the hotel geared for people who let their older kids run wild while they drink all day?...YES..would we recommend this hotel NEVER,NEVER,NEVER not even to our worst enemy save your money and book elsewhere,no anywhere but hereMore
laid back holiday
We've just returned from a 7 day all inclusive holiday here & have to say that we really enjoyed it. The resort is small with a beautiful beach & a few shops & bars. The hotel is in need of some modernisation, it's looking tired but I have to say that it is clean throughout, the staff were very friendly & helpful. There was a good choice of food with speciality nights where you can try something new. The entertainment throughout the day & evening was very good. I wouldn't want to go in the high season when there would most probably be more kids around as from this weeks experience there are an awful lot of kids left to their own devices while the parents sit around drinking & smoking. We did witness 1 young boy of around the age of 7 looking after his brother who couldn't have been more than 3, we also witnessed the entertainment staff forever chasing after little one's who were heading for the beach on their own, parents nowhere to be seen.More
