Great week

Stayed here for a week and came home yesterday. Really good resort for families , lots of entertainment during the day and on a nighttime. Loved the animation team and they kept the kids amused too . Good food and very friendly staff. Rooms very clean as well as pool area . Would definitely go back More

Emma A,

Family friendly

Visited in July extremely hot! If you want sunbeds and umbrellas in particular get up at 8am. Staff excellent. Extremely clean, comfortable rooms. Noisy, fun entertainment until about 11.20 at night. Take earplugs if you want to sleep. Very small pool full of lilos, inflables - even dingies! At first I was annoyed but got used to it and embraced the spirit of fun. Food plentiful although I thought it was at times bland. Much more choice and quality if you book to eat at the Cartago hotel. Excellent breakfast though with proper back bacon! Saloon bar serves burgers etc which are nothing special although people seemed to be enjoying them. Excellent icecreams - cornetto and magnum style. Lovely beach - not much to see when snorkelling. We hired a pedallo which was fun. Very small, quiet resort with a handfull of shops and bars. Great for families.More

Amazing food, weather and entertainment

Great holiday! Food was delicious with a choice of four restaurants and our little one loved the baby pool and kids entertainment, although she was too young for kids club during the day it didn't stop her joining in in the evening fun. We had such a good time and were blessed with amazing weather, we have already booked to go back next May!More

Barry A,

Fantastic Holiday With Family

My wife and I went here a few years back on our own when we needed s last minute break and stayed at the beach club. It was a marvelously relaxing holiday and we were very impressed by the facilities available for young children although we were travelling on our own. This year we decided it would be nice to take our grandson with us a few months before reaching school age and we went out with grandson and mum and dad staying at the main hotel. It is most definitely not 4 or 5 star but does exactly what it says on the tin, You can relax very well. Food is varied and, generally, to a high standard although you may want to occasionally make use of the microwave just to get it very hot. If you fancy a quick snack at a burger bar type establishment try the western saloon although we found varying from the main menu was a little confusing to the staff and occasionally we got what we didn't order. Drinks were of a good quality, though local brands - and all inclusive finished at 11:00 pm. If you get a chance try the cocktail bar on the top floor which, unfortunately, is only open from 9:30 PM and can be slow in service as there is typically only one person who seems to be able to mix the cocktails and she is very good at it. The swimming pool for the main hotel is typically peaceful and a good place to sun bathe and dip into the water. The pools at the beach club are very much more orientated to children. The rooms are quite large but they can be cramped as they have two double beds which tends to leave only a narrow space to walk around. The aircon works well but automatically turns off after two hours so you may have to reset it several times if it is a hot night. Watch out for extras as fridge (necessary for my insulin and useful for dressing drinks in the evening) is 3 euros per night, towels are 2 euro each but a 10 euro deposit, internet is not free in any part of the hotel but chargeable at 20 euro per week - personally not an issue to me as I like to disconnect from the outside world. Entertainment is typical animacion entertainment but can be very good on some nights. Locally, try the Ibiza express - a land train advertised with pictures of Thomas but even the average 4 year old will tell you otherwise though the experience is good. They run 3 times a week. The glass bottomed boat that runs several times a day is well worth it but dont take it if you expect to see great shoals of brightly coloured fish. It does make spectaculkar use of seeing the bottom of the sea in as much detail as you would treat the remainder of the scenery which is best by boat. A local bus to Ibiza Town is a must and there are a few water busses (AquaBus) which provide a good service to a few locations. The nearest Tabac is in San Miguel town but be prepared to walk up a long hill and aim for the church which is well signposted and is well worth a visit in its own right. Balconies vary in size considerably but floors 6 7 and 8 have the largest. All in all very friendly and helpful staff, good service and a very relaxing time.More
