This hillside hotel comes with a bay view and a beach on tap.
A handy lift connects to the beach, where there are pedalos and kayaks. And the pine forests and coastal paths are always at your disposal. Shops, bars and restaurants are a 5-minute walk away.
This place has an enviable setting – it looks down on San Miguel Bay, so sea views and seriously good sunsets are par for the course.

Stunning location, great hotel!
I travelled with my husband and 7 year old son. This was our first time to Ibiza and I was very pleasantly surprised. We preferred to have our meals in the hotel restaurant, as there is more room, more choice and the views are stunning. The food was fantastic, great choice, never got bored in 2 weeks. My son loved the fish and they even had his favourite 'chicken masala' one night. We went to the Chinese restaurant a couple of times, this was lovely on par with Chinese restaurants at home. The snack bar is good when you're busy and don't want to eat before 2.30 when lunch ends in the restaurants. You can also get toasties until 11pm if you are peckish before bed. Didn't really drink, but the choices were good at the bars and you have Amstel beer and red, white and rose wine on tap in the restaurants. We preferred the pool at the hotel, this again has nice views and we didn't have any problems getting 3 sun beds together as late as 12.00. The entertainment during the day was very good. My son loved the beach football, which is on every day at 11am. They have different activities on every day on every hour, with a different schedule for children and adults. The children can win certificates, medals, t-shirts etc and these are presented during the kids zone in the evenings. My son loved this. I didn't join in any adult activities, but I saw people win bottles of sparkling wine, which I thought is a nice touch. The animation team all work really hard and are very good with the kids. Some good entertainment at night. You'll either love or hate Zorro. He is very un PC, but I thought he was very funny, you are on holiday after all. My son loved the parrot show and he had his photo taken with a large snake and lizard in the hotel. San Miguel is a beautiful little cove, with a safe family feel to it. The sea is swallow and calm, so my son could enjoy splashing around and feeding the fish. There is a relatively large area of sand and the football nets on the beach were great. There are some nice walks over the hills, it is very rocky, but this made it more of an 'adventure'. Robbie one of the animation team has just started some guided walks up to the tower and you stop off for a drink in one of the coves. Yes the resort is very small, but I liked this as it is not commercialised and built up. You can get out and about if you want. We got the bus to Ibiza Town, the buses are infrequent, but turn up on time, so just plan your day around the timetable. Ibiza old town, the harbour and the castle are really nice, we'll worth a visit. There are also water buses to take you to other parts of the island. There is a timetable on the beach next to the jetty. We went to Portinax which again is a lovely area, with beautiful views. My husband used the free bikes in the hotel and went up in the hills a few times. We are not ones for sun bathing all day and I was a bit concerned we'd be bored, but there is loads going on, sometimes it was struggle fitting it all in! We weren't happy with our first room which partially looked out on the the tennis courts, as it was small and dark. We spoke with reception and they moved us the next day, with no fuss. Our next room faced the swimming pools and beyond the beach. This was larger and brighter, the bathroom was upstairs which I liked. It was noisy at night though. We went back to our room at around 11pm, the music stops around midnight. This wasn't an issue for us, we were always shattered, so always managed to fall asleep. We've never been to the same place twice, but loved it here and I'm seriously considering returning next year!More

Good entertainment, awful food!
Kids really enjoyed their holiday and that's all that matters at the end of the day. The entertainment and kids club was great, pool was over crowded and often a fight to get a decent sun lounger. The food was Luke warm at the best of time, the snack food at the Western was the best for the kids, the Chinese was the most enjoyable for the adults. Our first room had what looked like mould all over one wall and the AC wasn't working probably so we were moved after much debate the next day. However this was a bit of a fight and the rooms we were offered for a start were totally unsuitable in size for a family of 5! The whole resort could do with a good clean and referb, but the hardworking staff including the cleaning staff, waiters, bar staff and entertainment staff are fantastic and make the holiday. Quite a distance from any main Ibiza attractions too and excursions where well overpriced. Wouldn't go back again.More
