Relaxing stay by the sea
Accra Beach is a large complex beautifully situated with direct access onto a lovely stretch of beach. Despite its size it has friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and simple but comfortable. There are several good bars and restaurants and excellent pools. Accra Beach is also convenienly situation midway between Bridgetown and Oistins and is opposite a shopping centre with several cafes and restaurants. Highly recommended.More
What a view
Spent 5 days at this resort and wish we had more time. Great service from the hotel staff although they are on "island time". Beautiful accommodations and close to several local restaurants. Nice restaurants on property as well. One of the best beaches in Barbados.More

pre and post cruise hotel stay
We stayed here for 2 nights both before and after a 2 week cruise on Royal Clipper, the stay was arranged by the cruise company. We were able to upgrade to an ocean view room pre cruise, but that option was not available post cruise. The upgrade was reasonably priced. Upon return to hotel post cruise, our room was available for early check in, a very pleasant surprise. Hotel staff were always uniformly friendly and helpful; we would rate them great! There are lots of restaurants within walking distance. Both the pool area and the beach were very nice, and there's an oceanfront boardwalk that runs for about a mile.More
Great location, poor customer services
Superb location on the beach and a large swimming pool, customer services were poor though. We arrived at 16.45 to find that our room was not ready and were told to wait in the bar where we would be notified when the room was ready. We waited until 17.30, went back to reception to find the room was now ready but nobody came to find us. Check in was from 15.00 so why are rooms not ready from then!! Service in the bars were chaotic with them regularly running out of things (e.g tonic, mango juice); you could easily wait 10 minutes for a couple of coffees when there was nobody else being served and 2 or 3 staff behind the bar! The main hotel bar never seemed to have any change so if you wanted to pay by cash staff had to go to another bar to get some. Our room at the back of the hotel was facing the main road and was quite noisy at night as car/taxi drivers in Barbados do like sounding their horns. Breakfast was very good though.More
Visit to watch England cricket ODI match
The hotel was lovely, right on the beach, not too big but big enough. The rooms were lovely, although our room had a constant sound of running water within the cavity of the wall, during the day not a problem but if you woke in the night it kept you awake, don't stay in room 144. Apart from that the cost of breakfast was expensive 60 Barbados dollars for the buffet, but there were cafes around the vicinity where you could get cheaper. I would definitely stay there again but not in that room More
