The Protur Palmeras Playa Hotel puts you in easy reach of Sa Coma’s sands, shops and restaurants.
It’s all about location at the Protur Palmeras Playa Hotel. Sa Coma’s sandy beach is less than 2 minutes’ walk away, and it’s about the same to the bars and restaurants in the centre of town.
Bedrooms here are nice and modern, with white walls, blue soft furnishings and light-wood furniture. They’re nice and big, too. Outside, meanwhile, you’ve got a pool and plenty of sunbathing space.

Lovely Hotel and Holiday!
A bit late writing this review, I visited Sa Coma in August 2016 for a girls holiday, it was lovely and relaxing! Rooms were lovely with great air-con! and you could barely hear any noise from the courtyard when the doors were shut which was great! Although the pool is on the small side, and a bit of a fight to get the sun loungers that have the sun most of the day, but you have super easy access to the beach which is literally 2 mins walk away! Lots of shops near by to have stroll to in the evenings! The food here is by far the best all inclusive food i have ever had! fantastic variety, food is refilled all the time! The Cocktails are to die for! the TUI rep and all the hotel staff were amazing and incredible helpful!!! Cant wait to come back soon!!!!More
Great week all inclusive
Stayed here with family for a week all inclusive and loved it. My other half and I had a huge room with its own private terrace with sun loungers which was based at the end of the building and this was brilliant; we never struggled for sun loungers by the pool, but having a private terrace (plus the standard balcony) was an unexpected but welcomed surprise. The hotel has a good sized pool and is a very short walk to the beach; good for anyone with accessibility problems. The beach was immaculate and we enjoyed alternating between the beach, the pool and (the very clean) hotel jacuzzi. I was impressed with the quality, quantity and flavour of the food, the Italian al a carte night in particular went down well, the chicken in Roquefort sauce impressed even my Italian father in law! Being able to pick up ice creams (own brand magnums and cornettos) whenever we wanted was also a nice touch. The drinks on offer were also impressive for all the all inclusive package, and we enjoyed pre-dinner drinks each night in the lovely outside terrace. Overall this was a clean, modern and nicely furnished hotel with impressive food and drink options. Very relaxing and I would come again.More
Excellent family vacation
We travelled as a family with two childen aged 6 and 4. We booked the hotel directly through their website. Overall we are very satisfied with our stay and would definitely chose Protur again. They Protur chain has many more hotels in Sa Coma, however none of them are as close to the beach as the Palmeras Playa. Hotel The hotel is a U-shaped building with the pool centrally located. The staff is friendly and we had no problems with communicating in English at the reception desk. The reception manager Claire is British. The hotel is occupied by a vast majority of British guests. We booked a private airport transfer with the hotel via email, which cost 83 Euro one way. Pool The pool is of moderate size with a separate baby pool (35 cm depth). The main pool has a shallow end (50 cm) and a deep end (210cm). The pool is clean and there seemed to be enough lounge chairs for this time of year. The loungers are hosed down every evening. There is not much sun in the pool area in the mornings, but rather in the afternoon. Beach The beach is located a short 3 minute walk down the street, if you leave the premises through the side door in the pool area. The beach is 1-2 km long and very wide. It's fully sandy with occasional rocks, but nothing that would require water shoes. It was fairly crowded in Septemeber, I can't imagine what it's like in peak season. Overall the beach is very nice and clean with crystal clear water. There is some spotty seaweed here and there, mostly around the beach edges. The water is shallow and fairly safe, ideal for children, the waves are super calm. There are plenty of loungers available to rent. If you leave the hotel and go in the other direction then in around 5 minutes you can reach the beach in S'Illot, which is much smaller, therefore I cannot really see the point of going there. Food The food selection and variety is just great. Something for everyone, even picky toddlers. There is fresh grilled meat and fish (the cook grills it in front of you upon order), all sorts of vegetables and fruit, not to mention the desserts. Impossible to list it all, we found everything tasty. The pool bar offers for lunch the usual hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, etc. which you can eat literally in your swimwear. There are self serve drinks like Coke, Fanta, Sprite, fruit juices, beer. There is no bottled water available, however you can pour yourself a glass of water from the dispenser. We bought bottled water from the supermarket, which was perfectly fine. Room We had the apartment which is different from the standard rooms. It was quite spacious, had a huge double bed and a pull out sofa. The room is equipped with a kitchenette and table with chairs. The bathroom is nice and modern, there is only a shower, which can be tricky with children. We asked for a bath mat at the reception and received one within an hour. These types of rooms do not face the pool but rather the side street. There was outside noise to be heard, but nothing major. The room was clean, had a balcony with two chairs and a table and a clothes line. Area The hotel is surrounded by other hotels, which is typical coÅ Sa Coma. There are plenty of things to do in the area, lots of small shops and restaurants. We decided to rent a family bike from the rental company just outside the hotel, the price was decent.More
Stayed at the Protur Palmeras Playa in August 2015. It was amazing. We booked the hotel separately and not as a package holiday. The reception manager emailed in advance to arrange our transport from the airport to the hotel, there was no waiting round, we were in the taxi and on our way to the hotel within minutes of collecting our luggage. On arrival check in was swift and well organised. We booked a superior room with a terrace and jacuzzi. Fantastic. The room was large with two patio doors out onto the terrace balcony and part sea view with full pool view on the top floor. Couldn't fault anything about this hotel. Food, service, staff and cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. So much choice of food, something for everyone and if you like desserts they were to die for. Beautiful beach at Sa Coma just a 5 minute walk away. Will most certainly be going back.More
This was a lovely hotel, only problem we had was when it rained the evening entertainment moved inside and because of the layout we could not get a space 30 mins before it started, we did suggest take the tables out and have it more theatre style, all manager could do was say "it's the rain". later we discovered non hotel guest were allowed in taking up the chairs which really was not fair. Saying that the hotel services were good. Friendly staff, food was good with fresh grilled meat every night. The pool did not get the sun until 11am because of the way the hotel was built in a horseshoe shape. we never got the sun our balcony.More
