This was a lovely hotel, only problem we had was when it rained the evening entertainment moved inside and because of the layout we could not get a space 30 mins before it started, we did suggest take the tables out and have it more theatre style, all manager could do was say "it's the rain". later we discovered non hotel guest were allowed in taking up the chairs which really was not fair. Saying that the hotel services were good. Friendly staff, food was good with fresh grilled meat every night. The pool did not get the sun until 11am because of the way the hotel was built in a horseshoe shape. we never got the sun our balcony.More

Great Hotel and Great Staff
We stayed here in September for 2 weeks all inclusive. The Hotel is spotless and the rooms large. All the staff were brilliant and very friendly. Food was excellent and great choices. The only down side is the pool it is not very big and very shady in different parts all day long. This makes people go down very early to reserve sun beds which they don't use until late afternoon which is very annoying however it still would not put me off going back.More
Stayed at the Protur Palmeras Playa in August 2015. It was amazing. We booked the hotel separately and not as a package holiday. The reception manager emailed in advance to arrange our transport from the airport to the hotel, there was no waiting round, we were in the taxi and on our way to the hotel within minutes of collecting our luggage. On arrival check in was swift and well organised. We booked a superior room with a terrace and jacuzzi. Fantastic. The room was large with two patio doors out onto the terrace balcony and part sea view with full pool view on the top floor. Couldn't fault anything about this hotel. Food, service, staff and cleanliness of the hotel was outstanding. So much choice of food, something for everyone and if you like desserts they were to die for. Beautiful beach at Sa Coma just a 5 minute walk away. Will most certainly be going back.More
Really great place to stay for a week in the sun. Easy to get there from the airport (one hour by coach) and a well run hotel. Service was very good on the front desk and in the restaurant. The pool was rather cold given it was end October and the hot tub could have been a little warmer. My 8-year old son loved the mini disco and the guy running it from the stage was enthusiastic and great fun. The entertainment was loud and did keep the children awake, but silence came at 11pm each night. Food was excellent.More
A very good hotel with excellent staff
Stayed for 2 weeks mid October. We emailed hotel prior to arriving and asked for a high floor with afternoon sun which is exactly what we got (top floor, block A). Weather wasnât brilliant some of the time but didnât spoil anything apart from a couple of times evening entertainment had to be held inside. We did enjoy most of the acts but the best had to be the Rod Stewart tribute. Food was exceptional, varied and well cooked; I fail to see how anybody can complain about this. We enjoyed the Italian meal which was by invitation and held at the converted pool bar. The rooms were large, yes the beds were hard but we coped. We heard very little noise which is not always the case with some hotels. Have to say though we were a little disappointed with the standard of room cleanliness as a couple of times we thought the maid had not been as thorough as she could have been. If there is one thing that stands out it is staff attitude. What a great bunch they are from waiters, chefs, bar staff, reception and management. Even found the TUI rep Josh to be very knowledgeable and helpful which is not always the case with tour reps. This was our first visit to the Palmyras Playa but have stayed at Protur hotels before and will do so again. The hotel itself is at the far end of Sa Coma on the border with Siâllot so this has to be factored in if you are planning to walk to the castle or Cala Millor. We didnât appreciate this at first however we did these walks several times. Bus to Cala Bona via Cala Millor is just a few meters from the hotel. Take the open top City Bus as the normal bus is meant for longer distance and most times the driver will not let you on for a short journey. Cost 1.85 euros, good value.More
