The Protur Palmeras Playa Hotel puts you in easy reach of Sa Coma’s sands, shops and restaurants.
It’s all about location at the Protur Palmeras Playa Hotel. Sa Coma’s sandy beach is less than 2 minutes’ walk away, and it’s about the same to the bars and restaurants in the centre of town.
Bedrooms here are nice and modern, with white walls, blue soft furnishings and light-wood furniture. They’re nice and big, too. Outside, meanwhile, you’ve got a pool and plenty of sunbathing space.

Surrounded by a roomy sun terrace, it's the ideal place to pull up a sunbed and seek some shade under a parasol. Little ones won't be far away either as the pool comes with a kids' section.
This place serves up International buffet meals, including some healthy eating options. There are a few show cooking stations dotted around, too. Highchairs are available for the little ones. Just so you know, there's a dress code here - men need to wear full-length trousers for evening meals.

BEST EVER ALL INCLUSIVE HOLIDAY
I stayed at the Palmeras Playa for 14 nights arriving on 09/10/2014, having booked through First Choice. Claire at Reception gave me a very warm welcome and after quickly completing the check in procedure, she escorted me to my room, which was on the same floor. She then told me how to get to the Restaurant, where a cold plated meal had been thoughtfully kept for me, because of my late arrival due to the poor transfer from the Airport. My room was huge with twin beds and a comfortable sitting area.. The Bathroom was spacious and fitted with mobility aids, which were useful as I have walking difficulties. The shower was very powerful and the shower mat which I had requested was provided.. All the food both in terms of quality and variety was amazing. At the Hot Buffet dishes were replenished regularly. The Desserts were eye catching and extensive. Fruit, Ice cream and cheese and biscuits were also available.. the dinner service was superb with guests being able to watch while fish, meat and stir fry meals were cooked to order. The choice of fish on offer was the best I have ever experienced. Without doubt this is a very well run Hotel and all the staff from the Reception personnel, cleaners,, waiters, barmen and maintenance men were very friendly and gave the appearance of being happy in theism work. They are all a credit to the management and I hope that their hard work and is recognised. Evenings were pleasant in the comfortable bar, which had a good selection of local spirits with international brands being available for a small charge. .Normally I do not bother with evening entertainment. However, it was varied and generally good. I particularly enjoyed the Spanish Dancing and the Whitney Houston tribute act which were both performed on the outdoor stage. The beach lovers are well catered for at the Hotel. The Sa Coma beach is about 100 meters away . By turning right at the sea front there is a pleasant walk to the foot bridge at S'illot where the river meets the sea and a smaller beach will be found. This Hotel will appeal to most age groups looking for a relaxing Autumn break., while enjoying good food in spotless surroundings. The Hotel is situated in a flat area and is suitable for guests with walking difficulties. My holiday was very enjoyable and I will certainly return but given the poor transfer I will book direct with the Hotel who will arrange my transfers.More

We booked this based on the reviews and facility's in first choice brochure , sadly as it was the end of the season the hotel was already cutting back on staffing levels and facility's it offered . 1) the pool bar and snack area were shut down the week before we arrived ( 3 weeks before it shut ) 2) the entertainment team were all gone except for 1 person . 3) the outside entertainment stage area used for evening shows was shut . 4) the Al a carte restaurant was closed Speaking to other guests we all felt we paid for services which were advertised but we did not receive , we could see why certain amenities had been closed as the hotel was quiet but some guests paid as much as for their week as you would of paid in the middle of summer when everything would of been open. The evening shows for the week were on the entertainment board and looked very good but every day they would be replaced with a new act which were very hit and miss. The food in the restaurant for the first few days was good but then very bad , food was being put out at the start of the lunch/ dinner services and left under the hot lamps to dry out and not replaced. I had a curry one night only to discover there was no rice and spaghetti but no meat in the tomatoe sauce , they put a tray of sandwiches in the bar at 11pm which is a nice touch but sadly didn't put any marg or butter in them but soon rectified after we spoke to the first choice rep who was the best rep I have met . Several guests complained to the first choice rep and the food on our last day was back to being good especially the stir fry and the sweets. The hotel is spotlessly clean and lovely large modern rooms , the staff are very friendly , the hotel is in a great location 1 minute walk to a beautiful beach and all the shops and bars and restaurants you could want should you choose to eat out. The whole resort is level and the bus stop is opposite the hotel Inc the bus stop for the road train which was running again after stopping for a couple of weeks. Although the food was a disappointment especially for a 4 star premier hotel which I mainly put it down to it being the end of the season as a couple we spoke to were there last September and said it was fantastic last year. I WOULD RETURN but earlier in the season. More
Lovely family holiday and a great time had by all....
We stayed at this hotel in September, so it was after the summer rush and the first week was fairly quit, the second week was busier but did not change how wonderfully this hotel is run. We arrived on a Tuesday evening about 11pm, we were greeted by the night porter who was so friendly and helpful, he took our large suitcases for us and showed us to our room, which helped as we had a very tired 2 year old with us. He explained they had kept the restaurant open for us and we could go down and eat if we wanted to. Perfect start. Everyday the hotel surpassed what we were expecting in terms of food, staff, entertainment and cleanliness. The staff were amazing with my son, especially the restaurant staff. The only thing I can say wasn't perfect is that the bed was a bit hard but this is only personal opinion as my husband loved the beds. The food was lovely, the desserts to die for (all I can say is I'm glad they weigh the luggage and not the passengers) the Italian restaurant is nice for a more intimate atmosphere. The pool area was very clean and the toddler pool was nice and warm. It is only a very short walk (minutes) from 2 separate beaches and first choice do plenty of excursions. We went on the pirate show excursion, my son loved it as did we. I can not recommend this hotel enough and we will definitely return. I have never reviewed a hotel before but this one is such great value I just had to. So thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so wondeful.More

Arrived back last week from one of the best holidays weve ever had. This hotel is wonderful food excellent got even better on gala night anyone who says couldnt find anything suitable to eat well I can only think that they must have been somewhere else not here. We didnt have one of the refurbed rooms but ours was still good clean and spacious. I have never had such a large shower in a hotel before. Also situated in a nice area too 2 mins walk to beach and a short stroll around shops area on an evening before evening entertainment.some nights better than others but hey your on holiday take it for what it is hotel holiday entertainment and enjoy not moan as some do.will definitely return and recommend this hotel to our family and friends.must also say all the staff were great and so helpful.More

A great relaxing holiday with amazing food!
This is our first visit to Majorca and our first holiday abroad as a family. LOCATION: Perfect. Close to the beach and shops. Sa Coma is a sweet little place. Great for families and couples. Not for partying for the youngsters. HOTEL: Beautiful, clean and very well looked after. The pool area is lovely. The sun is in the pool area for 3/4 of the day. FOOD: We have been on several all inclusive holidays and the value for money is outstanding. Highly recommended. All in all a great place for a holiday if you're looking for something very relaxed.More
