Protur Palmeras Playa Hotel

The Protur Palmeras Playa Hotel puts you in easy reach of Sa Coma’s sands, shops and restaurants.

It’s all about location at the Protur Palmeras Playa Hotel. Sa Coma’s sandy beach is less than 2 minutes’ walk away, and it’s about the same to the bars and restaurants in the centre of town.

Bedrooms here are nice and modern, with white walls, blue soft furnishings and light-wood furniture. They’re nice and big, too. Outside, meanwhile, you’ve got a pool and plenty of sunbathing space.

Will go back again

Put simply a very friendly, well run hotel with all the facilities needed for a nicely memorable holiday even for a solo traveller. A surprisingly large room, excellent choice of food and drinks, enjoyable entertainment and close to the tree lined promenade and beach. A definite yes on the "would you recommend and go back to this hotel" question!More

Excellent hotel

Two weeks at this amazing hotel :) Excellent all inclusive food! We never got bored with the variety, lovely staff who always made an effort to learn our names and make us feel welcome. Different entertainment every night. The daily hotel activities were very well organised. I would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future and recommend to all my friends and family. More

Thank you for my birthday bubbly x

Stayed in June for a week over my Birthday. Chose the hotel with my friend. A big influence aside from flight times was the great reviews. The rooms are as described large modern and roomy. Would like to see more hangers in the wardrobes but would feed this back to all hotels. After any journey when you arrive 1st impressions count as all journeys from door to door seem like a long time. The reception staff were very friendly and told us to leave our luggage, go to the restaurant have something to eat and drink and come back later and they would have everything ready to go to our rooms ...bliss! I had my birthday there and tell tale signs were the birthday cards in the room, nothing had been mentioned of course but a lovely bottle of bubbly was waiting after a chilled relaxing day by the pool, very nice considerate touch. The food was fine, The hotel makes a real effort with the desserts, really well presented, a little style over flavour though, not to my taste as you cannot beat British/French desserts, however they were very popular and many plates full of one of everything so my opinion is in the minority I am sure. Very lovely young lady at the bar ensured that when we went back up to our rooms after a taxing day by the pool that we were sufficiently refreshed with pint sized vodkas and cokes to take to our rooms to have while getting ready for the evening in our safety aware plastic glasses. There seemed to be an awful lot of chairs and tables where the hotel entertainment was outside, became apparent why on the last night as came back earlier due to flights home the next day. Every seat was taken up, including sun beds. Caught the back end of an Americans comedians act who had got to the more adult side of humour but more funny than naughty. He got a standing ovation at the end. I have never seen an act at a hotel get such a rock star kind of response. The posters in the hotel actually did not do him any justice, in fact they put us off as it looked more Blackpool at the end of pier kind of advertising, so maybe he needs better posters. One thing people who stay at this hotel do not feedback on is what the resort is actually like, think some people who go on all inclusive holidays must just stay in the hotel and not go out so much, so not sure what to expect when we got there. There is plenty to see and do, lots of shops, restaurants and bars. There were 2 artisan type of markets within the week we were there. Also on an overcast day had a nice walk to the old fort/castle. Interesting, it has a café and bar for refreshments too. Beaches are pretty and look really clean. On my birthday found ourselves in a bar being entertained by a Tom Jones tribute act (The black hair dye & curly perm days) cheese and totally fabulous. Would recommend this hotel as you will not be disappointed, get booking it is a no brainer!More

Very good all inclusive hotel

We have just returned from a week long stay at the Palmeras Playa in Sa Coma on 21st July 2015 and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Having previously stayed at the Protur at Roquetas de Mar, at first we we slightly disappointed in the Sa Coma hotel, no doubt because we had been spoilt in the Roquetas hotel. The food was very good with show cooking in the evening with a selection of fresh fish and meats alongside a stir fry section. Drinks at the bar were very good with a wide selection of local drinks and cocktails and a nice touch was the range of non alcoholic cocktails for kids. However the drinks in the restaurant were very disappointing with only beer and soft drinks at the self service and wines on tap, so the quality was not that good. A nice touch was that drinks could be taken up to your room as long as you asked for plastic glasses. It was very hot when we stayed there but the in room air conditioning was very good. Sun beds were usually reserved around the pool before breakfast and latecomers had to get beds on the grass area. Although there was no provision for bottled water (unlike the Roquetas hotel) there was a Spar supermarket over the road so this was not a big issue. A previous reviewer complained that half of the outdoor area was in shade during the day but this proved to be a blessing for us in the extremely hot weather.More

Fantastic Hotel

Just returned from this fantastic hotel which deserves a 5 star rating in my opinion. Spacious rooms and cleanliness was of an extremely high standard in the rooms and all the public areas. All staff were friendly and helpful but a special mention should go to the reception staff who were absolutely brilliant and always greeted you with a smile. Food variety and quality was excellent and as for the desserts all I can say is WOW!!! Will definitely be returning to this hotel and highly recommend it for a fantastic holiday.More
