Surrounded by a roomy sun terrace, it's the ideal place to pull up a sunbed and seek some shade under a parasol. Little ones won't be far away either as the pool comes with a kids' section.
This place serves up International buffet meals, including some healthy eating options. There are a few show cooking stations dotted around, too. Highchairs are available for the little ones. Just so you know, there's a dress code here - men need to wear full-length trousers for evening meals.

The good: Rooms were clean and made up on a daily basis. The pool area was pretty spotless. We were a large party and the restaurant were able to accommodate us in the evenings by reserving us a table - which we thank them for. The food: The food is hit and miss. Sometimes there isnt a great "main" choice in the evening, but there is still plenty to eat - no one will go hungry. Some of it was very "samey". We liked the food by the pool at lunch time and tended to eat there for the whole duration. Bread, cheese, meats, salads, some hot food, fruit available. Breakfast was great and did not differ from day today. Drinks are self service in the restaurant. The sangria in the bar was great. Free icecreams available too. The beach which is a 2 minute walk is amazing. Water is crystal clear. Sun beds are 5 euros. There is a back door to the hotel for ease of walking to the beach. The bad: Unless you want water by the glass, you do have to pay for water. The cocktails on offer were not that great. Our key cards failed to work on numerous occassions, hence many walks back to reception. Our safe failed to work - was later fixed. The batteries went in our door - was later fixed The air con was very poor. We did have to open the door at night to let some air in, which on occasions was noisy. Sunbeds - I wake up early anyway and watched as people came down to place their towels for the day - this is anytime from 6a.m and is not policed by the hotel. Be aware - there are some VERY shady parts to this hotel / pool where the hotel is built up around the pool. We opted for the beach. Wifi - we gave up. The ugly: Sadly, and more embarrisingly, the hotel told us that part of our bill wasn't paid upon arriving - which was not the case. One of our party had to physically email the hotel with bank statements, and seek out the confirmations on email confirming this. Sadly no apology when we asked "has this been sorted". However, one nice gent, Dave did apologise when we were leaving and was very helpful with sorting out our missing taxi ride. Would we return - yes.More

Two negatives to start with.....firstly, for a modern, up-to-date Hotel the WiFi is exceptionally poor, very hit and miss. Not an absolute necessity but if you can get a very good connection in a local restaurant?????. Secondly, I would criticise the very uncomfortable sunbeds, this needs addressing in my opinion! Moaning out of the way I have to say this Hotel lives up to all the plus comments other reviewers have made and probably more besides. Quality of food at all meal times is excellent and nobody will be left wondering just what to choose...spoilt for choice as they say. Sa Coma is a pleasant little resort with easy access to Cala Millor and also to Cala Bona. It was my wife's birthday whilst we there and the Hotel reception recommended the Son Floriana restaurant which is a short taxi ride away. An amazing "Taster" menu and also a first rate Al a'carte. Definitely worth a visit for a special meal. All in all a quality Hotel, just needs a close look at the negatives I mentioned, but it would not deter us from visiting again.More
Me and my partner stayed here after a recommendation from a close friend of ours. The hotel itself is lovely. It was reasonably quiet at this time of year which we were really pleased about. It has a great atmosphere and the entertainment in the evenings was some of the best I've seen in four star hotels. The food is great too, lots of choice and I never saw the same thing twice. The only thing that's let the hotel down for us was one of the reps. Most days he looked like he had just crawled out from a ditch before coming into work. Shirt creased, half asleep.... it's supposed to be a 4 star resort and thompson need to put a rep into the hotel who doesn't just sit and play games on his computer when you are trying to ask him questions!!!! very unprofessional More
I stayed here for 10 days from 4th June 2016 with my husband and 2 girls (aged 2 and 4). We had a super holiday. The hotel is immaculate, rooms were cleaned daily. Pool area kept clean during the day and pool was cleaned every morning. Our room was a family suite which had a separate closed off room were the girls slept. There was then a pull down sofa bed which was reasonably comfortable for a sofa bed. Bathroom was huge. Definitely one of the largest rooms I have stayed in before. Room was air conditioned and had a small fridge for own use. There was a hair dryer provided but it wasn't very powerful. The food was a highlight for us. Going all inclusive is a risk if food not good but I can honestly say that we were not stuck for choice any evening. I am gluten intolerant and they were so accommodating. Every morning the same waiter made sure to get me my gluten free bread as soon as he saw me enter the restaurant. The chef was happy to come out every evening and show me what foods were suitable for me. There was a wide selection of choice and you could choice a selection of meats to be cooked to your liking e.g steak, chicken, fish, aubergines etc. The kids were also accommodated each night with the likes of chicken nuggets, sausages, mini burgers, pasta, rice, potato croquettes etc. Obviously an abundance of chips too!! The desserts were very impressive looking but unfortunately they didn't taste as they looked. I think they would be better with a small selection of good desserts as opposed to the huge variety of impressive looking ones! At lunch time you have the choice of eating in the restaurant or at the pool side bar which serves chips, fish, rice, burgers, wraps etc. The freezer is stocked up all day with ice creams and the pool side bar has drinks on tap all day long including tea and coffee. There is also a selection of bread and fruit served all day. Late afternoon they serve cakes and biscuits. The entertainers Fabienne and Danny were brilliant with the girls. The girls missed them after we left. We took the girls to the kids club a few of the days. One of us stayed with them and this was not a problem. The girls looked forward to the kids disco every night. This was followed by entertainment for the adults which included comedy, quiz, musician, singers. The beach is a short walk from the hotel. We went to the beach one of the days but to be honest it was much handier to be at the pool with all the food and drink available at your leisure. If you like to get away from the hotel there is Cala Millor nearby which you can walk to (hours walk) and Cala bona. Overall I can't fault this hotel. We are already thinking about booking again. Just returned from a short break at the Palmeras Playa. This is a very nice hotel, the rooms are spotlessly clean and well equipped. The food is well above average for an "all-inclusive" hotel and the staff are friendly and helpful. Entertainment is average but no complaints. Beach is just 150m from the hotel. Balconies lack privacy, we personally prefer those that have side walls but this not a big deal. Pool area is quite nice, if a little crowded at times and the pool shuts quite early. The wi-fi is worse than useless unless you are sitting in reception. Overall though, we would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for families as it is very child friendly.More
