Disappointed with some area's of holiday
I stayed here with my Son, Daughter in Law and grandson. First week August. I booked and paid for two superior rooms, and emailed hotel before to ask for pool view. We got two ground floor rooms at the back. 1025 & 1026 Every morning 7 - 8am you had dogs barking from the home behind the hedge, then you have the building work drilling banging, I think they are building a hotel or something next door. For seven days we were worken up, The room I am not sure what is different with a superior room, It seemed very basic to me, A Fridge would be nice, there is room for one under table, The TV, you only get News, I know you dont want to watch TV, but sometimes it would be nice when you go back late afternoon to put the telly on, Most 3* hotels I have stayed in have programes in English. The bedding was not changed in a week, I stripped the beds left bedding on floor, it was put back on? I asked the cleaner to change bedding, she said she would but No! My main disappointment was the so called Superior Room's. Breakfast, It would be nice if you could eat outside. So hot & busy in the restaurant, I am sure if everyone was told to clear the plates away after, they would, as from what I saw everyone did in the snack restaurant, Not once did someone leave the plates on table, even children were clearing table after, so why could we not do the same for breakfast? The pool bar at the back is only open 12 - 4, so if you want a drink any other time you had to walk to other bar, We managed to have four beds every day, but then we were up at 7am, The pool is not open till 10, We did not have young children with us, but it did seem they loved the disco, and it was great watching them do the dances, but its only on 8.30-9.00, the rest of the evening what do the children do, as the entertasinment is for adults. What I did like, The hotel grounds are lovely very prettty & clean, The food was good, We managed every day to find something we liked, Drinks were also good, Strong a couple of nights my son or I felt bit tippsy, especially the vodka, Bar staff I found to be very nice, Always said hello. Entertainment was good, we especially enjoyed the Motown show and the acrobates, The Entertainment team worked hard, and if you want to join in the games they do, it can be good fun, We were happy with them all. Always said hello when any of them see us, Would I go back proberbly not as the room mostly spoilt our holiday, More

Stayed here for 11 nights and had a great holiday. The entertainment team were fantastic and kept everyone entertained with shows, games and dances. They had a lot of energy and created lots of happy memories for our children who are still doing the party dances at home! We found all the staff around the hotel very pleasant and polite. The grounds in the hotel are beautiful and well maintained. Also got the free shuttle bus to Puerto Banus which was a great day out. Our room was in the Seville block on the ground floor and was a spacious room for 4. It was exactly as expected and described in the brochure. Cleaned daily with fresh towels. We had a large terrace and access to a good size pool and sunbeds in the garden outside our room - absolutely fantastic. There is a main road to the front of the hotel but this did not cause us any issues. All in all there are 5 outdoor pools to choose from. Food was really good and varied. Breakfasts offered a good selection, as did the lunchtime and evening meals. The restaurant did get busy at certain times, but my advice would be to avoid the peak times if you can. The BBQ and Paella lunches outside were fantastic and provided a nice alternative to the indoor restaurant. All the drinks were good too and again a great selection of drinks offered to guests. All in all, this is a great 3 star hotel and we had a great holiday. Hope you do too !More

Never again!! And don't be fooled the splash park is not there!!!
Arrived here 13th July 2017 for a two week holiday with my partner and our 2 children aged 3&7. We arrived quite late but reception checked us in very quick, he told us we'd been upgraded to a superior room, don't no what was superior about it, it was a basic room with 4 single beds. Our room was 1110 which over looked the big pool but unfortunately we had a massive tree blocking us. Never mind we coped with it as wasn't in room much. A few bar staff very very rude, food was OK. Snack bar was terrible as everyday was the same old burgers hotdogs and chips and a dirty burnt toasty machine. We booked this hotel as the lovely little splash park in childrens pool caught our eye and would be brilliant for our girls. Before flying to the hotel I noticed someone had wrote on here the splash park had been taken down, we got in touch with thomsans and the spoke to this hotel manager and reassured us that it was still there. OK... So we finally find the childrens area on holiday and supprise supprise it's not there. As you can see in my pictures below the one picture is what's in brochure the other is what I took while I was there. The hotel staff were rude and of course didn't do anything about it. So we had to pay alot of money to go to a water park. I found some entertainment staff rude. Ino kids are hard to entertain but just don't think they were meant for that job. The hotel was in a very empty place with not much to do. Very busy road outside the hotel which u have to wait on in the boiling hot for a free shuttle bus which unless you were there an hour before bus is due wouldn't get on as it only fits about 40 people so you have to wait two hours for the next bus. I am really not trying to cause trouble or get something out of this but I think people should know what to expect when paying soo much money for a holiday. I really appreciate reading other reviews to know what to expect. We came home gutted and soo disappointed after this holiday, we paid close enough to £3000 and it wasn't worth it. Kids be careful in pool as there are broken tiles in pools and my 7 year old cut her feel bad everyday. More
Upon arrival given room 58 took one look and said no Thankyou was like a prison cell so given room 119 well it was like sleeping on the M5 motorway for a week it was like being at Butlins meal times awful queues all the time and very bland choices no nice walks from hotel unless you like a dirt. beach !!! will not return
Just returned after a 2 week break, arrived at about 8.30 pm smooth check in rooms loveley very clean . The grounds to the hotel were emmaculate beautiful gardens with loads of beautiful flowers, The restaurant was bedlam no orginasation, people pushing in no respect food all overs the floor , food cold, no designated area for childrens food , some food our children wouldnt eat. the pools were great the only down fall was that one of the pool bars didn't open until 12 pm and closed at 4.00pm, then you had to walk around to the other bar for drinks. Most of the bar staff were great exept one that didn't like serving children . My 10 year old grandson stood at the bar to get a drink and he deleberatly ignored him, my son in law approached him and he laughted in his face we said we would speak to the manager, but as usual , the said the manager wasn't avaliable. The entertainement staff were brilliant, especially emelie, there shows were brilliant. There isnt much out side the hotel , the bars across the road Buddies was filthy, tables wern't cleaned, the toilet was overflowing, i was told to use the mens. the other bar close by Emerald bar wasn't much better ripped seats smelly glasses. Iwouldnt return to this hotel and i would rate it a 2 star.More
