Coral Sea Water World

Anchored right next to the beach in Nabq Bay, this place packs in a huge sand-side pool, a triple helping of restaurants and a shiny new waterpark.

The brand new waterpark here is bigger and better than ever. The best news, though, is that it’s on the same site as the hotel itself – so you can squelch right on over.

There’s a pair of pools set in gardens, 3 restaurants and rooms that have a balcony or terrace with garden, pool or sea views. The cherry on top? The beach – it’s right outside.

Onsite waterpark

The aquapark at Coral Sea Water World is on site so, a splashing good time is just footsteps away. The water rides have names like Night Rider, Freefall, Turbulence and Twilight Zone and include tube slides that snake their way downhill, multi-lane racing slides and a bowl-shaped vortex.

Younger swimmers have a pirate-themed splash pool where they can scramble up and over the water, then swoosh and glide back in. And a lazy river gently meanders around the park area too.

There are manufacturer's height restrictions of 1.20m on 12 of the big waterslides and the wave pool, and an age restriction for over 8 years. Two slides have an age restriction of over 10 years.

Kids' club

The hotel-run kids' club provides a great range of kids’ activities to fill their days with fun and adventure. For ages 4 to 12 years.

2 outdoor pools

If you don't fancy the slides and chutes, there's always the main pools. One's heated in the winter, with towels and sunbeds.

Great holiday

This is a great hotel. The rooms are tidy and comfortable. The animation team are also great fun and a laugh to hang around with. The water park and pools are also fantastic. The only downside to the hotel has got to be the entertainment but, overall good.More

245holiday,

If you want to forget the world for a week this is the place to go

This was a first for me just a completely relaxing holiday!! Myself and my two friends went to celebrate turning 30!! We did absolutely nothing but lau by the pool and ate! The food was fab, of I had to pick between the Indian and the Italian Id pick the Italian for the steak and chips but they were both really tasty. The rooms were gorgeous and spotlessly clean. Bring mosquito repellant and join the fb info groups I learned loads of tips from there!! The shopping was not fantastic but you can get cons and MK bags galore!!More

Overall had a great holiday

Firstly WiFi is only available in the Reception area and with so many people trying to use it it is really slow!! Our teenagers couldn’t survive without internet so we got a mobile internet dongle for them. The buffet restaurant is great, plenty to choose from with all the usual of BBQ, fresh pasta, fresh pizza etc every lunch and dinner time. There is a different food theme every night. You get to go to the Indian & Italian restaurants while you are there which is good but you have to pay for the drinks in these restaurants. We weren’t mad on the Indian one but Italian one was lovely – get the steak!!! You have to be down to the pool for 9am if you want particular sunbeds but everyone just puts their towels down and then heads for breakfast and comes back!! There are two pools and the waterpark. The main pool by the beach is where all the activity and games take place. It can be a little manic and noisy!! We normally went to the second pool closer to reception which was a bit quieter. The waterpark opens at 10am and normally there is a queue of people waiting to get in. So again if you want particular beds you have to go early but we never found a problems getting good beds. Also a lot of people seemed to go the waterpark in the morning and then went to the pool in the afternoon so there were always more beds available in the afternoon. The mini disco is at 8.30pm which my kids loved. The kids club is not great unfortunately, they don’t do a lot of activities and most kids don’t bother going. My daughter went once and was bored so didn’t bother going back. There is so much else going on that they would rather be by the pool anyway. The night time entertainment was getting better as the days went on. Normally they have a professional dance show on which is really good and then they also do some games which can be funny. The animation team were definitely improving every day - but please buy a new MICROPHONE!! Avoid the BINGO – it’s a rip off!!! Staff were very good and especially Sayed in the restaurant looked after us very well. Overall the staff are willing to work hard for their tips and are happy to wait till you are leaving. Tip the house keeping guys though if you want towel art for the kids! We got monkeys, elephants, snakes, crocodiles and people!! The little shops in the hotel are a rip off obviously but there are shops outside the hotel and a little supermarket if you want to stock up on snacks for the room. Sun cream is expensive even outside the hotel, try and bring what you need for the two weeks. There is a pharmacy in the hotel and another one just outside if you get sick, luckily we didn’t need to use them. Rooms were huge and the bed was massive, all 4 of us were able to sleep in it comfortably. We also went to the Hard Rock café – don’t bother!! Service was atrocious and they automatically charge you 12% service change on your bill. It took 3 hours for a 2 course dinner for 4 adults and 4 kids!!!!! Overall we had a blast and the only thing that let it down for us was the evening entertainment but as I said that was improving every night towards the end of our holiday.More

Sarah D,

Lovely hotel great for families

We stayed here in May half term holidays and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The rooms were nicely appointed and comfortable and the hotel facilities were very good. The kids enjoyed the wide ranging pool facilities and it was safe for my 8 year old daughters to find their own way around the complex without necessarily needing us to hold their hand! As an all inclusive hotel the food was pretty standard buffet style, but was nice and if you wanted something different you could enjoyed the Indian or Italian restaurants. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and rarely kept us waiting although I was disappointed that the bar staff only knew or could provide a limited number of cocktails due to a lack of ingredients or knowledge! The pool areas were kept clean as were the dining facilities and you didn't have to wait too long for a drink. There were plenty of activities for you to enjoy too. Ranging from the Hotel Spa to football, tennis, snorkelling or diving and paragliding. The beach had a man made feel to it and was reminiscent of my old schools gravel athletic track! Not great in bare feet although was more bearable nearer the sea! I would recommend to any family looking to pay Sharm a visit.More
