Anchored right next to the beach in Nabq Bay, this place packs in a huge sand-side pool, a triple helping of restaurants and a shiny new waterpark.
The brand new waterpark here is bigger and better than ever. The best news, though, is that it’s on the same site as the hotel itself – so you can squelch right on over.
There’s a pair of pools set in gardens, 3 restaurants and rooms that have a balcony or terrace with garden, pool or sea views. The cherry on top? The beach – it’s right outside.

The aquapark at Coral Sea Water World is on site so, a splashing good time is just footsteps away. The water rides have names like Night Rider, Freefall, Turbulence and Twilight Zone and include tube slides that snake their way downhill, multi-lane racing slides and a bowl-shaped vortex.
Younger swimmers have a pirate-themed splash pool where they can scramble up and over the water, then swoosh and glide back in. And a lazy river gently meanders around the park area too.
There are manufacturer's height restrictions of 1.20m on 12 of the big waterslides and the wave pool, and an age restriction for over 8 years. Two slides have an age restriction of over 10 years.
The hotel-run kids' club provides a great range of kids’ activities to fill their days with fun and adventure. For ages 4 to 12 years.
2 outdoor pools
If you don't fancy the slides and chutes, there's always the main pools. One's heated in the winter, with towels and sunbeds.

This was my second visit to Sharm, after a not so great visit last time I was hesitant about going back, this time I stayed at Coral Sea water world and well what can I say?! Fantastic holiday, great hotel it has everything you need and great and friendly staff! Didn't want to leave and will definitely be returning, the Aquarius diving team were fantastic, the First choice reps were great and I would recommend it to anyone considering travelling to Sharm! Great time...! Definitely recommend!
Just got back early hours this morning. We had an amazing holiday. Wish we had gone for 10 days instead of 7! Staff were great, the hotel grounds are huge, well kept, and very clean. The main pool was great. A gradual slope into it was fantastic for our little boy (nearly 2 years old), so he loved running in, without having to climb down steps. The loungers are very comfortable, with plenty of shades to keep the sun off the kiddies. Food was plentiful & lots of variety each evening. But with the usual rice, pasta, pizza etc for the non-adventurous eaters. The water park is amazing! The lazy river was refreshing for a cool off, and the big slides are fantastic! Great fun for the big kids like me! ð The half-pipe slide was my favourite. The tots pool area was great for the little ones that aren't quite big enough for the pirate ship slides. Evening entertainment didn't start until 9pm most nights, which was based in the water park. It was too late for our little boy. Had it been quieter for him to sleep in his pushchair then we would have done gone down there. But the music was too loud. So when we stayed up later, we just chilled out in the bar area of the main reception, or in Finnley's bar. We didn't spend much time on the beach. We had a little walk along the shore. It's a gritty beach, same as the previous hotel we stayed at in Nabq Bay (Jaz Mirabel). I'm not a beach lover, so it didn't really bother me. I much prefer to be around the pool. We went to the Shisha tent in the hotel one night, and that was the night we got bitten a couple of times by mosquito's (buy the OFF spray whilst there - £4 - from the shop in the hotel, or supermarket). We tried the Italian, which was ok. And also tried the Indian, which was really nice. Great service. The rose wine was lovely (£20 a bottle). You have to pay for your drinks in the Al A Carte restaurants. The excursions we did were the Seascope trip (morning trip on the submarine boat). It was ok. We saw a few fish, but was very repetitive. Perhaps had we seen more that the same 3 fish over & over, it would have been better. We also paid for the Hard Rock Cafe via Thomson, which was really nice, and a nice change from being in the hotel. Lovely big, cool restaurant. And the outside area is beautiful. Water feature, with a big screen showing the football. If you go into Nabq Bay, or anywhere else in Sharm, be prepared to be hassled to go into their shops. If you politely say 'no thanks' then they tend to leave you alone. Also, taxi's beep at you every 5 seconds, again shake your head, or ignore them. It's annoying when you have a sleeping baby in a pushchair, but hey ho. Don't let it ruin your holiday! ð The only (slight) problem we had with the hotel was that there are no lifts througout, and because the standard rooms are on the second floor, we had to carry the pushchair up/down 3 flights of stairs. Even if you stay on the ground floor, you still need to carry up/down the stairs to get from reception/lobby bar/shops. All in all, a great time had with great friends! We will definitely be back! ð We have already booked for this October to go to the Jaz Mirabel again, wish we had booked to go here instead. So hoping to book to go back here next October for my & my husband's 30th's!? ðð¼ #PINEAPPLES ðððððMore
Detailed review if a very relaxinf week at Coral Sea Waterworld
Arrived about 9;30pm was told to check in and would get a label to put on our suitcases which would then be taken to our room, was advised to go and have something to eat before the restaurant shut at 10. Stayed in room 2031 on the ground floor - had upgraded to a 2 bedroom room twin room with tv for the kids, superking size bed for us 2 chairs patio door leading onto patio overlooking the pool and 2 sunloungers (far enough away from the pool to be quiet - overlooking very well maintained gardens - 2 minutes from the beach). Room - easy to control air con, very comfy beds, room serviced daily - change of towels daily if you want - just leave them on the floor and they will be changed (hang them up they wont) Mini Bar and tv modern nice bedlinen. Restaurants - buffet restaurant breakfast till 10, dinner 6:30-10 pm very helpful enthusiastic waiters happy to have a joke with you and cheerfully greeted you every morning. Breakfast consisted of porridge fruit yogurt cereal eggs cooked to order pancakes waffles tomatos mushrooms etc etc. Dinner themed each night but not overly so - catered for everyone (friday egyptian really good) No complaints at all. Theres a restaurant by the waterpark and by the other pools salads barbecues breads freshly made ice cream cones etc and freshly made pizza to order. No complaints on food or drinks no tummy bugs for any of us. Tea served in the tea garden in the afternoon too crisps cakes sandwiches etc. Ice cream available all day pretty much popcorn at the pool bar - they bring drinks to you and regulary come round and check if you want drinks. Pools - You are given a towel card on arrival take it to towel hut and the guys will takes towels to your sunbeds and lye them out for you - simply hand them back in and get fresh ones as you need them. waterpark opens at 10 closes at sunset (note sharm is nice and cool in the evenings) Plenty to entertain the kids at the waterpark ours are 8 and 11 and really enjoyed it - plenty of lifeguards and sunbeds too. There are 2 large other pools on the beach side of the hotel (nice breeze off of sea) Pool bar a bit cold but warmed up by mid afternoon. We spent mornings by the waterpark lunch at the restaurant by the beach and then afternoons by the beachside pools. Staff - couldnt be more helpful friendly enjoyed a joke nice to the children and always smiling. Plenty of reps around animation stuff on in the evening if you like that. Beach - very warm shallow water plenty of fish to look at - reasonably priced water activities (we did the glassbottom dingys) the guys took us out on 2 and we came to a beautiful coral spot with hundreds of colourful fish was £7.50 per person for an hour and in no rush to get you back to shore. We also did the first choice trip karting which was excellent kids had their own track and races and so did we - fast karts large track and again plenty of time racing - was about £60 - good value and going in the evening there is an outside bar on the second floor to watch the racing and enjoy the magnificent sunset. In summary heres my tips Take dollar bills with you to tip (get satisfaction of helping people who work hard for not a lot). Collect bottles of water at breakfast to keep in your fridge and to rinse teeth with. Wifi slow in evenings as lots using it alot faster in the daytime. Eat before you depart to the airport - food is very expensive and not very good there. When paying Egyptians will take Us dollar and sterling pound - sterling they like best. As we had an evening flight we paid for late checkout £35 - they phoned us and told us to ring reception to let them know when we were ready so that they could collect suitcases. All in all a great relaxing holiday we stayed for a week which was perfect - its a resort holiday (beach/pool) I would recommend to anyone and I would go back again.More

Made my families holiday special
I haven't stayed here but my sister and brother in law visit twice a year probably for the last 5 years. Recently I wrote to the team at This hotel to ask if they could help to make my sisters holiday more special as they were celebrating their golden wedding anniversary. I am happy to say that they certainly made the holiday more special by upgrading the room and providing access to a special anniversary meal along with special pictures and numerous other touches. My sister and brother in law were delighted as this was a total surprise for them. I write yo the hotel because I knew my family would not say that they were celebrating so thank you team it seems you excelled yourself. My family are planning their 2nd trip for September.More
