Anchored right next to the beach in Nabq Bay, this place packs in a huge sand-side pool, a triple helping of restaurants and a shiny new waterpark.
The brand new waterpark here is bigger and better than ever. The best news, though, is that it’s on the same site as the hotel itself – so you can squelch right on over.
There’s a pair of pools set in gardens, 4 restaurants and rooms that have a balcony or terrace with garden, pool or sea views. The cherry on top? The beach – it’s right outside.

The aquapark at Coral Sea Water World is on site so, a splashing good time is just footsteps away. The water rides have names like Night Rider, Freefall, Turbulence and Twilight Zone and include tube slides that snake their way downhill, multi-lane racing slides and a bowl-shaped vortex.
Younger swimmers have a pirate-themed splash pool where they can scramble up and over the water, then swoosh and glide back in. And a lazy river gently meanders around the park area too.
There are manufacturer's height restrictions of 1.20m on the big waterslides and the wave pool. These also have an age restriction of either 8 or 10 years and over.
The hotel-run kids' club provides a great range of kids’ activities to fill their days with fun and adventure. For ages 4 to 12 years.
2 outdoor pools
If you don't fancy the slides and chutes, there's always the main pools. One's heated from mid-November to mid-April.

excellent staff who made the holiday!
The hotel was no more or less eye catching than any other Egyptian hotel I've stayed in. most Egyptian hotels have a high standard of of food and cleanliness. Same story with the rooms and facilities. To surmise nothing overly special yet nothing you would walk away feeling disappointing with. However Coral Sea Water world has a trump card up its sleeve that separates this hotel from any I've been to around the world and in Egypt. STAFF! Namely the entertainment team, and to give credit where its due Casey, Kieron and Anthony. They we're perfectly happy to chat and just make sure you was happy, no sales pitch, ever! they were always polite and very very entertaining. 5 star animation the only advise i can give to you is hire more people like the above mentioned!! Lastly i would like to give credit to one, Ahmed Hassan! He worked the 'Quiet' pool on his own. Serving drinks, bringing you drinks and glass collecting! This man was doing a three man job all by himself. However he did this with a smile! nothing was ever too much, he always went that little bit further to make our holiday as enjoyable as possible. I will be returning to Coral Sea Water world just to see Ahmed again. An absolute star! a hard worker and a genuinely good, kind man who without a shadow of a doubt deserves to be thanked publicly. To conclude, without their staff (Ahmed, Kieron,Casey and Anthony) that hotel would be just another Egyptian hotel. however thanks to the aforementioned staff this was the most enjoyable of my 5 trips to Egypt. I will be returning very soon.More

Amazing first time in Egypt!
Me and my family travelled to Egypt for the first time at Easter this year, and we've already booked another holiday for Christmas thanks to the incredibly enjoyable time we had this year. We upgraded to have a second bedroom room with 2 beds in it for my daughter to sleep in, which was very dark as there was a curtain you couldn't open in front of the tiny window, so we had to perpetually have the light on in there, but it was air-conditioned and had its own little TV for her which was nice. Our room was lovely and spacious and bright and best of all beautifully clean thanks to the hard working staff. The food was pretty nice, I'm a very fussy eater but even i found something I liked every night, the food may have looked fussy to some but I've eaten at far worse resorts. Trust me. The one tip I would say is be prepared to ask for drinks a couple of times, the poor waiters are so rushed off their feet they will sometimes forget your order. Pool side was nice, there was music playing which had a nice atmosphere. The first day we were there the 'heated' pool was being cleaned, and the second pool which was unheated was far too cold so I didn't end up going swimming until day 2, when I found out that the heated pool wasn't exactly boiling either, This meant I only dipped my feet in once a day, which is a shame as I really love swimming. Water park was good, didn't go much as I didn't feel particularly safe, and my husband badly sliced his elbow going down one of the slides, but was still a fun experience, great for kids and short queue times. I loved all the in-hotel activities, make sure you definitely ride the Bobby the camel and give him an apple whilst your there, bless him plodding up and down every day. The hookah (shisha pipe) was funny too, but don't smoke it too quickly or you might get sick afterwards, I recommend chocolate flavour. One of the only things that bothered me about the holiday was being pestered around the pool. When you're staying in a closed resort beach, you expect not to be trying to be sold things once an hour. The animation team were constantly trying to get me to go and join in activities, but when I politely let them know that wasn't my thing, they would continue to pester me into doing something I didn't want to do. Tip: Book the massage, if you haggle right you can get 3 people, 3 massage every other day for an incredibly good price, we got all of our teens massages for the price of ours and it was incredible. I was made to purchase a bottle of oil afterwards that wasn't so great but apart from that the experience was very relaxing. It also means, when they try to sell it to you poolside you have an excuse if you've already booked. Oh, and don't expect wifi in peak times, I had to go down in the middle of the day and it would still take me an hour to receive an email from the dog sitter. All in all, a lovely holiday, incredibly relaxing and great if you want to try new experiences.More

Room for improvement
This was our 1st time in Sharm el Sheikh but with so many mixed reviews it was not easy to choose the right resort. Firstly, Thomson Airways and TUI on the ground were very good as our return flight was delayed for two hours we were allowed to stay in the resort with full use of the hotel facilities until we were ready to depart for the airport. As for the resort: Rooms were clean and comfortable but looking a tad tired and a redecorate would be advisable. Our room attendant was very freindly and his towel art was both amazing and amusing. The Food: Where do you start. The main buffet restaurant had an enormous choice of dishes to cater for most tastes, however it was lacking in quality and flavour. The hotel has two specialist restaurants, anItalian and an Indian restaurant. The Italian was a big dissapointment where many diners the night we were there returned thier meals. The indian resturant situated at the Mermaid Restaurant, the food was incredible and the service was impeccable headed up by Outlet Supervisor, Alaa, who went out of his way to ensure we had a wonderful holiday. Alaa also made us very welcome when we arrived at the Mermaid Restaurant at lunchtime, a real credit to the resort. The pools: two pools that were kept in good condition with bar staff on hand to offer drinks on a regular basis. It was unfortunate that they had to shut the larger pool for over an hour one day for "cleaning" when the temparture is in the high 30's the pool is essential to keep cool. The staff: Always friendly and courteous and on hand to assist if required. However, more information could have been given at check in as we wee given very vague instructions on how to get to the room, after over 30 minutes later we eventually found our roon thanks to another member of staff came to our rescue. When you arrive late evening all you want is to find your room and chill out, not the case iam afraid. The Tui reps were helpful and not pushy in trying to sell excursions. In summary. A good resort that could be so much better with average food at the buffet dine around restaurant, staff are friendly and the weather is great.More
