Anchored right next to the beach in Nabq Bay, this place packs in a huge sand-side pool, a triple helping of restaurants and a shiny new waterpark.
The brand new waterpark here is bigger and better than ever. The best news, though, is that it’s on the same site as the hotel itself – so you can squelch right on over.
There’s a pair of pools set in gardens, 4 restaurants and rooms that have a balcony or terrace with garden, pool or sea views. The cherry on top? The beach – it’s right outside.

The aquapark at Coral Sea Water World is on site so, a splashing good time is just footsteps away. The water rides have names like Night Rider, Freefall, Turbulence and Twilight Zone and include tube slides that snake their way downhill, multi-lane racing slides and a bowl-shaped vortex.
Younger swimmers have a pirate-themed splash pool where they can scramble up and over the water, then swoosh and glide back in. And a lazy river gently meanders around the park area too.
There are manufacturer's height restrictions of 1.20m on the big waterslides and the wave pool. These also have an age restriction of either 8 or 10 years and over.
The hotel-run kids' club provides a great range of kids’ activities to fill their days with fun and adventure. For ages 4 to 12 years.
2 outdoor pools
If you don't fancy the slides and chutes, there's always the main pools. One's heated from mid-November to mid-April.

Nice location but too hot in August
This hotel is a generally good all inclusive hotel. However we did have some issues with the rooms: First room given: family room 2060 on the ground floor: Various electrical problems, lights flashing when should have been off, half the sockets didn't work (one broke when we were there - went bang and stopped working) and blew the fuse in the plug of the electrical equipment attached. Also we had a leak from either the sprinkler or the air conditioning in the middle of the night. Water came out from the light socket immediately under the air conditioning which wasn't good seeing water and electricity don't mix. Engineer fixed this in middle of night. Also the maid left the patio door closed but not locked on the third day, After going up to the reception on each occasion we were on first name terms. The final straw was on the fourth day the patio door was left wide open by the maid after cleaning, really secure NOT. After this I went up to reception and spoke to the First Choice rep and the hotel manager and he got us moved that day to room 2017 which was a lot better. We did have one issue with this room with the lock on the patio door, but this was corrected when I spoke to reception. This hotel has two a la carte restaurants open in the evening, The Indian (mermaid restaurant in the daytime) is very good. The Italian not so good. We could have gone there twice by only did so once as the air conditioning didn't work very well, kids were running around all over the place, nothing like a quiet environment. However the real problem was the food, starter was ok, the steaks we had for main were very good (however they has no tomato sauce to go on the steaks or burgers they were serving), but the desserts would breech trade descriptions in the UK. Baked Alaska was actually sponge and Neapolitan ice cream, the cheesecake was not cheesecake but torte and the tiramisu tasted like no tiramisu I had ever tasted before. They didn't ask me to fill out a comment card (just as well as I would have given them both barrels). As many people have previously noted drinks are at cost and not included in the all-inclusive program in these two a la carte restaurants. This was not a problem to me. Dine - Around Restaurant The reviews on trip advisor are mixed, we always found something to eat however some of the food presented was not very nice. My wife described some grilled chicken as "not much better than road kill" but the beauty of all inclusive is you dump your plate and get something else. The dine around can get busy at peak times and the air conditioning on the far side from the main entrance does not work very well. They always have a dish with beef in it (I called it beef of the day). What they describe it as is one of the following: Hungarian goulash, beef masala, rogan josh, beef and potato stew, beef stroganoff, beef stew Mexican style, there may be others that I missed, however they are exactly the same dish rolled out on different days with different names. Quiet pool (not quiet - still screaming kids - just no music). Why was the pool not open until 11am twice during our stay, at 7am one person was cleaning it and then at 10am three people were cleaning the green material off the bottom of the pool, why not have three people cleaning it at 7am. Surely you know how long it is going to take to clean beforehand, all you get is annoyed customers as it is 45 degrees in the shade, no pool and no drinks (except tepid water from a dispenser) until 10am. There is no wifi in your rooms, only in the lobby, if you want to get your email get up early and use it before breakfast as will get progressively worse throughout the day and in the evening might as well not be there for the response you get from the server. Enough of the gripes: We had no issues with illness over the fortnight (only drunk bottled water including for cleaning teeth) and rejected food that we didn't think was cooked enough - generally this wasn't an issue). Would we come back: YES but not in August, this August the weather forecasters (BBC World) were saying Egypt was abnormally hot but it wasn't a problem in the day (pools, drinks etc), only a problem at night with the humidity. We had a really good holiday and will definitely be back another year.More

Thoroughly enjoyed it !
First time to Egypt and loved it. The hotel was lovely and rooms were clean and spacious. Restaurant had loads of choice and bbq food was very tasty. All staff were really friendly and always willing to help. Animation team were friendly and worked really hard in very hot temperature. They were under a lot of pressure to sell nights out to the various night clubs they went to on a daily basis. The evening entertainment was a bit random and on quite a few occasions we missed it because the times we were told throughout the day didn't always coincide with when it happened. The only downside was the health spa and Aquarius diving club were always trying to sell you something by the poolside but if you say no they don't carry on. Would recommend the snorkelling boat trip run by Aquarius diving club. There is free wifi in the lobby although this is very slow and impossible to use if lots of people connected. Having said that if you go to Vodafone shop outside hotel you can purchase a portable wifi which was reasonably priced and well worth it.More

Fantastic entertainment throughout the day and night
The animation team at CSWW are great. Throughout the day there are various activities for children and all ages to participate in such as volleyball, ping pong, yoga, beach volleyball and beach football. For children in the evening there are shows to keep them entertained. The animation team also organise trips at night times, a different trip each night of the week like Pacha, Hard Rock Cafe and the British Pub (although you have to pay for these trips the prices are very reasonable). These trips are very well organised as travel to and from the hotel is provided. All of the animation team staff are very friendly, especially Tyler and Keisha. If you're looking for superb entertainment then CSWW is the place to go!More
Coral sea waterworld
We have just come back from Coral Sea Waterworld and we thought it was amazing as a family, the staff were on top form every day they are so polite to you they are never rude to you, we had a bar man and even when he was ill for a few days he was still trying to make the children laugh and giggle always smiling l, laughing and entertaining. The entertainment in the hotel is great in the day times you have got the animation team. The animation team were brilliant, they catered for everyone, had plenty of activities during the day for all ages, were really friendly and made our holiday. Tyler, Katya and Ria were always very enthusiastic and keen to get everyone up and involved. Overall the animation team made it a brilliant holiday that we won't forget!More
