Coral Sea Water World

Anchored right next to the beach in Nabq Bay, this place packs in a huge sand-side pool, a triple helping of restaurants and a shiny new waterpark.

The brand new waterpark here is bigger and better than ever. The best news, though, is that it’s on the same site as the hotel itself – so you can squelch right on over.

There’s a pair of pools set in gardens, 3 restaurants and rooms that have a balcony or terrace with garden, pool or sea views. The cherry on top? The beach – it’s right outside.

Onsite waterpark

The aquapark at Coral Sea Water World is on site so, a splashing good time is just footsteps away. The water rides have names like Night Rider, Freefall, Turbulence and Twilight Zone and include tube slides that snake their way downhill, multi-lane racing slides and a bowl-shaped vortex.

Younger swimmers have a pirate-themed splash pool where they can scramble up and over the water, then swoosh and glide back in. And a lazy river gently meanders around the park area too.

There are manufacturer's height restrictions of 1.20m on 12 of the big waterslides and the wave pool, and an age restriction for over 8 years.

Hotel-run kids' club

The hotel-run kids' club provides a great range of kids’ activities to fill their days with fun and adventure. For ages 4 to 12 years.

2 outdoor pools

If you don't fancy the slides and chutes, there's always the main pools. One's heated in the winter, with towels and sunbeds.

Fab Holiday (approx 20th visit)

We had a fab holiday as always, staff fab too. The food has improved since a couple of years ago when they tried a Turkish executive chef, and then a German one and now they have the original chef from our 1st visit, what a good job he makes too ( full marks) A special mention about Mr Amir Ghali food and beverage Manager and Manolis Restaurant Manager both these people are an absolute asset to this hotel. Must mention Julie and Jodie the Customer Relations team nothing is too much trouble for both of them a warm welcome and a cheery smile always. There is only one downside to this hotel and that is because they have a Waterpark now they should really be concentrating on some Adult dining areas and beach area for those guests that haven't got children.More

Great for kids, but....

Just returned on 22nd October from 7 days at Coral Sea Waterworld. The resort is absolutely fantastic for the kids, but it is a real compromise in other ways. Pros: - Waterpark is clean, safe and great fun for the kids (and big kids) - Pool areas are lively with plenty of entertainment going on (could be a bit noisy for some) - Rooms (we had a luxury family room) are large, bright and airy and air con is very good - The Animation (entertainment) team are excellent and work very hard to keep everyone entertained and look after the kids extremely well - Staff on the whole are friendly and helpful Cons: - The main restaurant/buffet is terrible - it's like a cattle market with queues everywhere and looks like a works canteen. Plates, glasses, etc. can sometimes take ages to be cleared from your table - Overall, food could be described as ok, at best - The other restaurants really are not much better but are a bit quieter - The public areas of the hotel are not particularly welcoming and are more functional than particularly attractive or welcoming - Tables in public areas are frequently left with empty glasses, full ashtrays etc. which seem to be collected far too infrequently, leaving the place looking unpleasant - Free alcoholic drinks are not great - Some parts of the hotel - gym & spa in particular are very badly run down So, although our kids really enjoyed it we would definitely not return. Next time we visit Sharm I would want to find a Hotel that caters for both children and the discerning traveller.More

Absolutely Brilliant, will definitely be returning!

First time in Egypt, travelled with my parents and brother. Parents had already been to Sharm but Coral Sea Waterworld was by far the best according to them! Great care from the beginning of the holiday. First night arrived late-ish but went straight to the restaurant for food. Stayed in a 2 bedroom family room, very spacious and always kept clean, on a few occasions the cleaner forgot to do the small twin bed room but this wasn't a problem. Brilliant towel art on the main bed most days. Stayed on the ground floor which was ideal, right by the pool and about 1/2 minutes walk to the beach which is where we spent most days as it was bliss! Never had any problems with fly bites unlikely most holidays! Main restaurant was great, always a great choice of food and a different them each night which keeps it interesting, think October was a good time to come as it wasn't too busy. Our favourite was the British themed night. No problems with hygiene and food always nice and hot. Breakfast was great too, lots of choice for everyone and lunch too, although we ate at the restaurant on the beach (Mermaid) as we were down there anyway which was good enough. Beach was perfect, nice sand and warm clear waters. The hotel also had a pier that you could walk along and go into the deeper water at the end. Lots of fish so snorkelling was very good! Even seen a big stingray about 20m from the beach. Animation team extremely good and friendly, always polite and great fun.Played bowls on the beach most days which was a great laugh and relaxing. Special mention to Aimee, always came to speak to us and asked how we were getting on! Waterpark was such good fun as well, a massive part of making this hotel a special one. Didn't spend much time out the hotel to be honest, a few trips up to the markets but wasn't that good fun as would get hassled too much from a few impolite shop workers. Went Go Karting which was a brill time and also did a boat trip which was well worth it! Missing being at CSWW a lot at the moment, the whole trip and all the staff made this an unforgettable holiday! Only problems were the wifi wasn't the best but didn't bother us too much, only wanted a quick facetime but couldn't. And beware of some of the Russian holidaymakers, very very rude! Will DEFINITELY be coming back!!More

Calum J,

Amazing and Excellent Hotel

Amazing Hotel with friendly staff and most of all, a BIG thank you to the animation team who just made it a holiday we will never forget. They just made you feel welcome all the time and with all the activities going on round the pool in the day and the entertainment on the night. Big thank you to Amy in the animation team who learnt me how to play darts, not funny at the time. love the fact that the animation team take you out on the night. As we been there before, the 2nd night of our holiday they upgraded us to a Jacuzzi suite which we was so pleased with and surprised. Rooms were so clean and tidy and cleaned everyday with fresh towels and bed's made. all ready looking to book for next year, see you soon coral sea waterworld.More

Coral Sea Waterworld - Our Experience

Having never been to Sharm before we were pleasantly surprised how friendly the majority of staff were! Reception area bar staff could be more approachable. Lots of food types on offer, try to go with an open mind as it's not like UK versions of dishes but has plenty on offer to suit everyone. Indian and Italian voucher restaurants give a high level of service, dishes available restricted to a handful but good food. Lots happening around the resort with the pool bars (family entertainment and quiet bar - great staff Galam and Hossam working there) Would definitely go back and already looking to see when! Finley's Bar gets a bad rep on some reviews but we found it to be a lovely bar (Malak who worked in there made it even better). Shame they move the rowdy and noisy kids activities in for the colder months but we left just in time to not be affected. Perfect holiday for us as a couple travelling with our daughter and her partner, we had plenty of relaxation and entertainment to suit our requirements. Great local excursions company (Falcon) 10 mins walk from the hotel gave us two fantastic days and much cheaper than the hotel options. Only major downside is the traders outside the hotel - constant harassment and some a little over zealous!!! DON'T touch or ride the camels outside the hotel, Bobby is the hotel pet and rides on resort beach are a fraction of the price!More
