Pegasos World

If you want both the big and beautiful boxes ticked off, head for this place. The new waterpark’s is out of this world, and the beach isn’t far behind thanks to its Blue Flag rating.

This place wasn’t satisfied with having one of the best pool scenes in the Med, so it’s added a fab new waterpark to its portfolio.

You’re just a hop, skip and jump away from the beach here. A wide avenue leads right down to Blue Flag sands that go on for more than half a mile.

Onsite waterpark

There's something for everyone to enjoy at the waterpark here. Little ones get their own area with a bunch of mini-slides, while bigger kids can race down the Masterblaster, the Super Drop or the multi-lane chutes. And just so you know, some of the slides here will have height restrictions.

Miniclub

Kids over 4 years old get their opportunity to show off some moves at the mini-disco. Plus with the hotel-run club being open through the day it allows children to make holiday friends.

Outdoor pool

Generous in size, the pool here makes a splash with its 2 waterslides. It's also in a prime spot next to the bar, keeping you topped up with drinks and snacks.

Great hotel for a family holiday

I stayed for a week commencing 13th May. I travelled in a family party including two 6 year olds and a 4 year old. Overall this is a great hotel for families with an abundance of water. The hotel covers a large area, but after a day you can find adequate short cuts. The pool areas are very clean, and walking around the pools didn’t appear to be particularly slippy. The staff were really friendly and welcoming. The one bedroom family rooms were large and clean with a fridge for cold drinks. Bathrooms had hairdryers and the best shower we have ever had. The main bed is very large and it doesn’t appear that the hotel has any top sheets that fit the beds properly. One of the bedrooms was booked with a partial sea view. As we were on the middle floor it only had a view of the water park. The Hotel management assured us that the room had a partial sea view but neither us nor the rep could see the sea! Air conditioning was already struggling in early May, so I guess the rooms will get hotter as the season progresses. Food was good and had a reasonable variety. Don’t expect any pork. As always if you want something freshly cooked be prepared for a wait. At the start of the holiday only the snack bar was open at lunch time, but on the second day the main restaurant was opened as well. Inside this has a kids section where they can get their own food and has a few tables that they can sit at on their own. The Italian and Turkish a la carte restaurants are good, but give the Asian one a miss. Cold bottled water is freely available in strategically located fridges and you can get tea and coffee all day. Alcoholic drinks were good and every night a different cocktail was on offer in the lobby bar. The only issue was a reluctance of the hotel to open the bar next to the evening entertainment area. This meant that you had to carry proper glasses on a tray from the main pool bar, which from a safety point of view seemed ludicrous. One evening there were between four and five hundred people watching a show and no bar, yet the pool bar had no customers. There is no waiter service anywhere even at mealtimes. There was only one free ice cream station for the whole resort, but it was very good with a variety of flavours. This hotel has the largest pool area of any hotel I have been to. It was not slippy and spotlessly clean. There were many different areas with small and larger slides and a pirate ship also with slides for the little ones, as well as a huge pool for adults. There were plenty of sunbeds with mattresses, so no need to reserve beds, but not sure what it would be like in high season, lots of umbrellas for shade. The beach was large with a beach bar and again lots of sunbeds. The sand was fine but there were some pebbles into the water, which sloped steeply when entering. While we were there the waves were quite large. Toilets and changing huts were located in many areas around the pool. The waterpark was potentially really good. The kids splash park was excellent, but the height restrictions were not enforced correctly on the slides. All of our little ones were over 100cm but their measuring sticks said they weren’t. On querying this, the hotel said they would clarify height restrictions at the bottom of the long climb up to the top slides, but this didn’t happen during our stay. After that they also closed all the highest slides which meant that even adults couldn’t use them. This meant that the waterpark was unusable except for the kiddies splash park for most of our stay. The kids club was excellent with both morning and afternoon activities if wanted, and a kids disco at 8:15. The children also had their own outside snack bar in the shade with low level stations and tables and their own (small) toilets which ours loved using. Overall this was an excellent hotel for families, with great water activities, good food and friendly staff. The issues mentioned were quite minor and did not really spoil our holiday at all. Would we go back again – definitely. More

Chris S,

Excellent place for kids

This hotel is huge, it is the ideal place for families with plenty of things to keep the kids occupied. Having water flumes on site is ideal, different sizes/areas for different ages. There is a good restaurant which serves a variety of foods (sorry no bacon or real sausages though) there are also several areas other than the restaurant which you can eat, including outside restaurant, cafes, and a chinese area (which you have to book). Bottled water is constantly available in fridges located all around the complex. The whole area is extremely clean and the staff work very hard to ensure this. The beach is minutes away from the main area and its clean wide and well equipped. For those without children they could incorporate a 'quiet area' though, as its plenty big enough. There is entertainment every night of some sort. All in all this is a lovely complex.More

TRACEX3,

Lovely hotel but very hard to get drinks

This hotel was lovely, wish we could go back. The service was excellent most of the time, except for the lady on the moby Dick bar who was rude and and clearly looked like she hated her job. The pool behind moby Dick bar was far the best for young non swimmers and it allowed the kids to play without permanent supervision and us saying no all the time. Be cautious of the side tall slide next to the moby Dick bar swimming pool my son burnt his ankles and his hand going down this slide, and I hurt my heels and my back. The food was good but got very repetitive eggs, eggs, chicken, chicken The bedroom was clean and comfortable and a great location. A cautious word check than your door locks behind you has we had no end of problems with it. The only real let down was how hard it was to get drinks. They would only give you paper cups and it was impossible to carry two more than a time. The bar staff refused to give us a tray. It was only after complaining to the rep we managed to get a tray and kept held of it for the rest of the holiday. The way the hotel staff behaved was like coke was gold. The rest of the holiday was great and I would still recommend this hotel.More

Went with my parents and brother, amazing!

This year was a special hear for us so we decided to make the most of it. Brother is 21 and I'm 18, parents have their 25th wedding anniversary. When we booked the Italian ala Carte, they didn't know about our special year but as soon as they found out, they gave us a complimentary meal a week later. The staff are extremely friendly and do tend to remember faces and what drinks you like. The wifi is a bit restricted but the time is more spent by the amazing pools, sunbathing or in the pool. The TUI excursions were really good, my brother went on the white water rafts and loved it. We all went for a Turkish bath at the start of the holiday and it was very relaxing, it's simply a must. We have been into Side, Manavgat and Alanya a few times. We booked tours from outside of TUI as they were considerably cheaper and you get more from it as well. Our next one is to Manavgat markets by boat tomorrow. Overall, the hotel is amazing, the pools, staff and waterpark, plus the beach, are all amazing. Would recommend to my friends if I were to come back here with them.More
