Pegasos World

If you want both the big and beautiful boxes ticked off, head for this place. The new waterpark’s is out of this world, and the beach isn’t far behind thanks to its Blue Flag rating.

This place wasn’t satisfied with having one of the best pool scenes in the Med, so it’s added a fab new waterpark to its portfolio.

You’re just a hop, skip and jump away from the beach here. A wide avenue leads right down to Blue Flag sands that go on for more than half a mile.

Onsite waterpark

There's something for everyone to enjoy at the waterpark here. Little ones get their own area with a bunch of mini-slides, while bigger kids can race down the Masterblaster, the Super Drop or the multi-lane chutes. And just so you know, some of the slides here will have height restrictions.

Kids over 4 years old get their opportunity to show off some moves at the mini-disco. Plus with the hotel-run club being open through the day it allows children to make holiday friends.

Outdoor pool

Generous in size, the pool here makes a splash with its 2 waterslides. It's also in a prime spot next to the bar, keeping you topped up with drinks and snacks.

The most perfect family holiday

Myself my husband and nearly four year old came here in September. It was absolutely outstanding, perfect for a family with young/teen children. We were due to be going to Tunisia and was changed to here. I can't get my head around the bad reviews! Rooms- we had a family room which was so spacious and modern and clean, perfect for us. And much more space than I would have expected. Small balcony, but we were rarely in the room to use it. Shower was powerful and plenty of storage. We were in block 3 which seemed the best block as right next to the kids and splash park and near to restaurant and spa etc, not sure if was a coincidence but that blocked seemed to be full of Brits. Dining - great selection each day, plenty of variety, standard English chips nuggets etc, Turkish dishes, and lots of freshly grilled meat. Catered for vegans and gluten free too. My daughters favourite was the man making the wraps every lunch time. People saying there was no bacon, there wasn't however we were staying in a country predominantly Muslim so I assume that's why, and completely understandable! Did not miss bacon one bit as there were the best fresh donuts ever for breakfast every morning! There were queues but not horrific , only issue was it was very busy and a lot of people rushing around, I assume this can be an issue in school holidays as would be busier still. Lovely outside area to eat as indoors was very warm. Entertainment - we never stayed for the main entertainment, only the kids as my little girl was ready for bed. But kids entertainment was very good, must be hard for them as so many nationalities staying at the hotel but worked well. My daughter certainly enjoyed herself, and thought was a nice touch doing a bed time song with all kids on stage at the end. Bar/snacks - entertainment bar wasn't open all day which sometimes wasn't convenient as had to wait for drinks, there are other bars but it's quite a way. Queues weren't too bad. There were snacks in the day which was great, just popping up for food and popcorn / candy floss available at night for a charge but the charge was very fairly priced in my opinion Pools - spent most of my time by the kids splash pool which is great for the little ones. Never went to the big pool but looked beautiful. Eventually ventured to the other pools two days before leaving and couldn't believe how much of the place we still hadn't seen! Great storey of pools for kids. Big slides were great and my daughter was allowed down a few of the big slides with me as she was just over a Metre tall. For the complaint that it was ages to walk up the stairs to the slides in the heat - area was extremely well shaded , and well I have never seen a lift at a water park , you want the tallest slide - u climb the stairs! Also I have to add, even if u don't go down the highest slide, just walk up the top of the stairs - the view is absolutely beautiful! Beach was great right in complex too. Hotel - all of the hotel was clean and very well presented. Great bargain shops in the hotel! No need to step foot outside. Staff - to be honest I didn't really speak to too many staff, which says a lot as I obviously didn't need to. But from all I saw were very pleasant, maids would say hello every morning with a big smile. The only cons I would say is that our room did not lock from the inside and the kids but was by the front door so at night I had to barricade it with a chair as if she tried she could have escaped. I absolutely loved my time here and have great memories. Perfect place to go with kids, most relaxing holiday I have had with mine as there's so much for them to do you can relax a bit and watch on. We will definitely be back. And thank everyone here so much for a great time 😃 More

Was ok, but its massive and service suffered as a result

This hotel offered a good holiday, if you want something massive with a lot of people this is the place for you, if you want something a little more personal with better service its worth shopping around, the staff work really hard its just simply when there are thousands of people coming in for dinner, something is going to give. Food is also like a canteen. Now you pay for what you get and this was priced on the low side, but we stayed at the Holiday Village Sarigerme last year and it was just a bit smaller and that made all the difference. But that said there were less things to do...More

Pegasos world. Side. Antalya

5* for everything. Staff, food and location were all better than we could have expected. The staff were extremely friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The food range was excellent and cooked lovely. We have already booked to go back in July.More

Great family hotel

We have teenage boys and we're looking for a hotel with a water park on site for a chilling holiday. Pegasos world is a big hotel. We went in October half term. This was the last week they were open and it was pretty quiet. Quite a few of the bars and restaurants were shut. This said everything we wanted was open in some form. Really never had to queue. Water park was great. Not all rides were open at once, but we had a go on everything. It was not that close to the bars etc.. The was snack bar close it was shut, open peak season I expect. Tendency for guests to steal double inflatable things for going down rides and take to pool or back to rooms, meant not many going, but usually got one in the end, may be worse peak summer. Food ok for all inclusive, lots of choice, no theme nights. Worried about getting nasty scitters as happened on previous trip to Turkey, but we were all well and ate everything. Free Icecream was nice and kids ate it, they have avoided free stuff in past so this was good. Gin nice, wine cheap all inclusive usual. Lots of included cocktails. Room good, we upgraded to 2 bed suite. You will not experience Turkey unless you leave hotel, could not even hear call to prayer. Most of guests Russian , they were nice and considerate unlike another nationality we have met before on holiday, think towel on sun bed. Overall would recommend if you want most of your holiday on site, friendly stuff, comprehensive facilities. More

Sarah A,

Okay, thought it would be better but had problems

We went as a party of 7, 4 adults and 3 children ageing from 13,9,1. On 25th sept - 9th October, we had been looking forward to it all year and were very disappointed!!! On arrival it looked to be a good hotel great entrance hall, check in was quick but did seem to be a rush and reception staff didn't seem to be bothered checking you in and wanted to do it as quick as poss and then move on there was no welcome or explaining the map etc we arrived about tea time so it wasn't as if it was late. Eventually found our rooms which were ok not that clean but ok, the balcony was small but ok fit for purpose and we did book a sea view which you could just see through the trees and water park. We were in block 3 room 3337&3339. The Internet was temperamental in the room. A disappointing thing was you had to pay for the safe, normally where ever I've been its part of the holiday that cost €21 so that was a shame! The beds were hard even though we did have a memory foam topper on it but we tended to get used to it. TV in the room was hit and miss, you did get sports on it and I managed to watch a bit of footie including the Arsenal v man Utd game but the signal does struggle at times and when we asked reception they told us it's because they stream the channels. The air con was poor!!! Even complaining several times about it they told us it's because it's on a timer and doesn't work at certain times which wasn't expected!! After a day in the sun you could do with being cool in the room getting ready for night but this isn't the case it was cooler outside than in the room!!!! The plus side was the shower it was brilliant wish I had one like this one at home. But we did find little black worms wriggling around by the plug! Outside of rooms there is a gap by the room windows which is closed off with bars but looking over it drops straight to the ground floor so this could be better off to make it safe!! Cleaners about all the time for the rooms but alarmingly we watched them clean with No chemicals just water!!!! Lifts pretty much stopped working or broke down several times a day!!! And at one stage my brother in law was stuck in a lift half way from two floors with his 1year old for about 10 mins very scary and not expected, reported it to guest relations, reception and reps but nothing was done and the same lift kept doing it to other people in the end we ended carrying the babies pushchair up the stairs each time!!! The restaurant is big but no notice telling you what the theme is and the food was ok there was a lot of choice but beware they don't really cater for the English it's very busy too busy knocking in to people even my 9 year old son got knocked and pushed a few times especially by Russians!!! Lots of we don't care Russians we ended up pushing them or stopping them from pushing in and barging them a taste of there own medicine!!! The waiters were great and a big mention to our waiters sorry can't remember there names who always had our table ready with drinks, we did tip but not much and a little goes a long way for them. The plates and cutlery were dirty. Food did get repetitive and boring after a while and we did end up getting a Burger King a couple of times which was really easy to do, you get the no 10 bus outside the hotel and no 11 back they come every 10 mins and were really cheap 3 lira each so don't get a taxi!! There was even a supermarket by Burger King can't remember the name but it was so cheap!!!! It was a bargain!! Staff in the hotel weren't the best but a big mention to Turgay who really tried his best to help us and make our stay best he could! Pools are good but never seen cleaned, they taped it off one day by the pirate ship so could only guess there was an accident in there but still didn't get an explaination why?Plenty of sunbeds!! No problems there!! There was litter and dirt by the edges of the pool so defo no cleaning when we were there!! The free ice cream by the beach was really good and so were the bars! Be aware there is a big problem with wasps, flies and mosquitos!!! My brother in law, partner and two others around us at the pool were all stung by wasps and there's loads hanging around the bars by the Coke machines. Flies are always landing on you when laying down on the sunbed and over the food at the restaurant. Mosquitos everywhere but found out they haven't sprayed a woods near the hotel which has caused the problem the big problem was watching the evening entertainment were you end up getting bitten alive! The water park was ok but the big slide was dangerous we watched a couple of people coming off the rubber ring luckily they were ok but you do end up hitting your legs on the side as well!! Not all slides are open as they don't have enough lifeguards around and we also witnessed the water park manager shout at the lifeguards very loudly one morning with everyone watching on there balconies not really professional and shouldn't be witnessing that!! There's plenty of bottled water around in fridges this was a really good plus!! The floors are very slippery in the mornings when they have cleaned with no signs up! And when it rains which it did the hotel struggles to cope as its flooded everywhere but no one around trying to sort it? Went on a trip to aquarium which was good but part of the trip was visiting a jewellers, avoid this as they are very pushy!! and instead of this they could of included the wild park and snow world at the aquarium as this cost extra!! Coach transfer from airport is long about 1hr Hardly any lights around walkways round the hotel which was stupid and dangerous people were using there phones for light to see where they were going Parasailing was great fun would recommend!! During our stay all management staff were asking everyone what they could do to improve even though it should be good now!! Now for the main problem: My 1yr old nephew became ill a couple of days in with a fever at first then came out in spots we thought was chicken pox but a few days later my children also came out in spots we all had spots in our mouths and sore throats we then found out it was hand foot and mouth, spent most of the holiday in the rooms. Reps did nothing reception staff tried helping by contacting the pharmacy to deliver medicine to the reception desk, doctor was just interested in charging expensive fees guest relations weren't interested and when we got home it was confirmed by our doctors that it was HF&MD we are about 5 weeks back now and just about recovered but in the process of complaining to first choice, we did notice other children around with spots around the hotel The reps recorded it on an ipad but that was it!!!!!!! Not a brilliant holiday and not ever going back, there are other places for the price we paid that are better!!More
