This hotel has an ace up its sleeve – it’s right on the beachfront, minutes from the upscale marina.
This place and the beach make great bedfellows. If you’re in a sea-view room, you’ll be waking up to the Med. And location-wise, it’s just 3 minutes’ walk from a marina ringed with shops and bars.
Along with a cracking seafront setting, the large pool, the bowling green and the late-night bars keep guests coming back here.

Just got back from a lovely long weekend at the Sol Aloha Puerto, the hotel is in an excellent location right on the beach and a short walk to the Marina. Check in was straight forward with the room availability at 2pm. The only problem we had was having to wait an additional hour before the room was ready. I can highly recommend the breakfast as there is a large selection of fruit, meats, bacon eggs etc. Will definetly returnMore
Stayed at The Sol Aloha Puerto for first two weeks of August 2014. Very busy and popular hotel. Rooms are of good size and while this is an old hotel the rooms have a reasonable décor. Food is of good quality and service is rushed as hotel was very busy in August. Waiters a very polite and try there best, think though that they could do with a few more staff during this very busy season. Entertainment in the hotel is of very good quality if this is your sort of thing. Good choice is you like a very busy place.More

Could do better
The good * Location * Kids club - the main person, Ainoha (spelt incorrectly) is amazing * each room has a separate lounge The Bad * Rooms (and hotel in general) are tired and need modernisation and were noisy due to thin walls and plumbing * The staff - reception was, particularly Paco, surly and miserable (with notable exception of Depak who was great and the Resturant and entertainment staff who were ok) * the internet - not worth paying for - really slow and expensive * sun loungers - not enough so unless you get up early you will struggle Other * pool side entertainment is very noisy - so if you like quiet - avoid * food is average * everything is extra, internet, safe, fridge, etc. If this hotel was better run then a lot of the bads would not matter as much. If you can get this place cheap then ok, but if you are paying full price shop around elsewhere. More
I have been going here for 11 years . the hotel is in a great location , rooms are comfortable , staff are friendly , the entertainment is good for families , food is good . it is good that towels are removed from sunbeds if inactivity of 40 minutes however we saw a funny sight of towels on the floor in a line waiting for the door to open at 7 in the morning. . we will be back next yearMore
