This hotel takes some beating when it comes to location. It's claimed a spot right on the prom, just a 3-minute walk from a marina that lines up places to eat, drink and party. There are two pools in front of the hotel, one forming an L shape around the other. Inside, meanwhile, all the bedrooms have a separate living area with a roomy sofa-bed, and a balcony with sea or mountain views. This place does well in the food and drink stakes, too. There's a buffet restaurant that comes with an Italian corner, where pizzas fresh from the oven are the order of the day.

A Month in Spain
We just returned from a month at the Sol Aloha Hotel (February). This hotel is located right on the beach adjacent to a beautiful 10 mile long promenade. The rooms all have a separate sitting area and a balcony which provides a stunning vista, especially if you choose to pay the extra 10 euros per night for a sunny side room and stay at a higher floor. We were on the 9th floor and thoroughly enjoyed the view of the mountains as well as the Mediterranean. The hotel is located just on the western border of Torremolinos, right adjacent to Benalmadena ,a charming little town with whitewashed houses and beautiful parks, There is convenient and affordable public transportation, bus and train, to the entire region. While the rooms are not luxurious, they are adequately equipped with furniture, refrigerator (extra charge) and a personal safe for which you are charged an outrageous sum of 70 euros. According to the hotel, the safes are rented out by an outside company and the hotel cannot adjust the charges This was our only complaint about the hotel. The staff is wonderfully helpful, accommodating and efficient. The dining room is one enormous buffet with a large selection of fresh fish, meats, vegetables and salad fixings. Plus a daily changing house made desserts and wonderfully pared, sliced and cut up fresh fruits. The breakfast selections are great, eggs made to order, freshly baked croissants and excellent smoked salmon and Spanish cured ham. And bottles of cava available next to the juice machine, just in case you feel like a little bubbly in the morning The dining room runs like clockwork, supervised by capable Maitre D, Carlos Rodriguez. We have been coming to this hotel for the last six years, a month at a time and enjoy being greeted warmly by the same staff every year. We would definitely recommend this hotel for a sunny vacation at the Costa del Sol.More
stayed at this hotel 9 till 16 february as a treat for my 60 birthday.nice clean rooms, food was good lots of variety even for a fussy eater like myself.Night entertainment could be better livened up by the weekend as there was a lot of elderly spanish guests (very noisy and rude).great location short stroll to the marina lovely walk along the prom.staff were excellent had a birthday card and a bottle of champagne from the managment (very nice) weather was nice for the time of year.if we go back to costa del sol will stay at sol aloha puertoMore
Just back from our ninth annual stay at the Aloha Puerto Hotel in Torremolinos Spain. Everything was as wonderful as in previous stays. The staff, especially Carlos in the dining room and Paco and Miqel at the front desk, gave superior service. We are already planning our next trip.More
love your mashed potatoes but many nights it was cold.Seafood great but most of the meat dishes were tough.the 9th floor sunny side was great, view was beautiful but the water pressure in the shower was poor and water was barely warm.More
Value for money
Excellent value for money. Great location. We went out of season so the fact that there are very few beds around the pool didn't bother us. The breakfast was very good but the evening meals were not to our taste.More
