This hotel takes some beating when it comes to location. It's claimed a spot right on the prom, just a 3-minute walk from a marina that lines up places to eat, drink and party. There are two pools in front of the hotel, one forming an L shape around the other. Inside, meanwhile, all the bedrooms have a separate living area with a roomy sofa-bed, and a balcony with sea or mountain views. This place does well in the food and drink stakes, too. There's a buffet restaurant that comes with an Italian corner, where pizzas fresh from the oven are the order of the day.

Just back from sol alhola hotel in benalmadna yesterday.I have to say the hotel is fantastic.Staff so pleasant an helpful an so fast for check in and out.Rooms spotless and a great size.separate bedroom.Beds so comfortable..so quite an peaceful. There is three blocks we stayed in number two.Reading the reviews people say number three better for the sun.We then realised you can pay extra ten euro a night for sunny side..We were quite happy in number two.The lifts were so quick...You can go out gates by the pool leading on to the beach which is so handy at night walking back to hotel..Would recommend this hotel...No complaints...... Really Good location.
Stayed here 5 nights in April .The hotel was pretty busy but not overcrowded. The hotel is well maintained and we had a briliant room overlooking both the marina and Sea. It is worth paying the extra for this type of room. We only had breakfast which was ok but busy. The location is brilliant for access to shops and marina. Would highly reccomend. The only issues I would raise are 30 euros for internet access per week is a bit steep, and some of the reception staff need to go on a customer service course. Some of the reception staff with their discorteous approach really let the hotel down.More

Good & Bad
My husband sister and I have just returned from a two week holiday at the Sol Aloha. On arrival we were registered quite quickly, because we were the last to get to the reception as we were dropped of at the top of an incline leading to the hotel. The ramp giving access to the hotel was very steep and with one of us in a wheelchair, another on crutches and 3 suitcases, it was a very difficult and disappointing start. I was also disappointed that we were not allocated a sunny side room, but apparently this has to be arranged when you book, although I had sent an email requesting this, I had not received a reply explaining this. The reception staff were always polite but not always helpful, it does say on the TV near reception they will offer help about local attractions etc. but they have no information and can answer no question asked, just refer you to the TV. Guest are completely on their own to find the dining room, snack bar etc, the signage is not adequate. The hotel itself is disabled friendly, but the grounds and swimming pool aren’t, the gradient of the ramps is very steep, and unusable with someone sitting in a wheelchair, my sister had to get out of the chair while the chair was wheeled down empty, with much effort to hold on to it Another thing which disturbed me was the emergency exit door in the dining room was kept permanently locked even when guest were in the dining room. The staff would open it when asked but they should not have had it locked in the first place. But the good far out weighs the bad. The hotel is beautiful and spotlessly clean, the rooms are cleaned every day and towels & linen changed very regularly. The food is wonderful with so much variety it’s unbelievable, but could be warmer at times. The bread it great. The animation team, are first class especially , all the shows were professional and very enjoyable, but there was very little activity during the day, which was unfortunate when it rained. The hotel should be congratulated on all the staff, reception, cleaners, bar staff, dining room staff, animation team they are all so friendly and pleasant. Thank you for our lovely stay at your wonderful hotel,More

Another great stay
Just returned from Aloha Puerto ,we stay three times a year for six nights and are never disappointed. All of the staff are fantastic, be it cleaners, restaurants and reception staff. Special thanks to Paco S and Carmen for sorting out our lovely rooms and arranging a lovely anniversary card and bottle of cava to help us celebrate. Will return again.More
