The staff were exceptional. The facilities were amazing. Everyone was so friendly and happy, it made the holiday even more enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone. The food choice was amazing, there's no place comparable. The only complaints would be that the room service was slow and the mini bar was only filled up 4 days out of 7. More
VERY good all-inclusive - lots of variety and great food & drinks
We've been to 4 different all inclusive resorts in Mexico, Cuba and Jamaica. This, by far, was the best one of them in terms of the quality of the food, the cleanliness and friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely go back.More
We had a nice time
Overall I would say we had a very nice trip. It was really windy so we weren't able to do a lot, but the food was great and we drank and ate all day so that's fun. One thing to know before you go though is, although it's all inclusive, it doesn't include the transport to and from the resort ($60 one way) and also if you have children under 4 they do have a kids club but you have to pay $25 an hour for babysitting. We knew this but weren't told until after we had used them for 3 hours throughout the week that they ONLY take cash. This was an issue with us because we were pretty broke after all the random things we had to pay for unexpectedly and we were planning on using a credit card for kids club. Also, if you use them be sure you pay that day that you use them. They will tell you it's up to you and you can pay at the end of your stay, but the lady showed up to our room pounding (literally) at our door at 7am, when we didn't answer she called 5 minutes later saying she needed to be paid right now. We told her we were going to at 9 when we got up for breakfast (especially considering the club didn't even open until 9 so y are you even at my door right now??) but she still showed back up AGAIN at 8 and my husband had to walk to the ATM immediately with her at his heels to give her the money now. We asked why we couldn't just leave it in an envelope for her at the front like we could with everyone else and she said she doesn't trust anyone. So basically we were completely inconvenienced and woken up early (and our 2 year old also) 2 hours before we had to be awake on a very very long traveling day all because she didn't trust anyone. So just be advised and pay the same day you use them to avoid being bullied at the end. Her name was Tamara by the way, I'm not sure if they're all Like that but it really pissed me off. We had the butlers Junior and Dalton and although we didn't have to use their services a lot they were really great people and the rest of the staff were really great. Just bring some cash so you're not stuck and enjoy your time. We're going to the royalton they're building in Negril since we liked this company so much. We use sandals or beaches usually but the royalton is half the price and seems to be pretty much the same as the sandals we've been too. The only real difference is you don't tip at sandals and they own the beach they are on so no locals can come on to sell you things. Just tell them no thank you or eventually ignore their calls because they really won't believe you when you tell them you have no money haha. More
Weedding in Jamaica
+ The Hotel was very nice + The room is very good + The employees were all very kind - Mozzarella sticks were missing at the sports bar throughout my stay - My room was supposed to have a sofa bed - Waterslides were under maintenance during my stayMore
had an awesome time
Staff was friendly but not familiar. I liked that.. Rooms were a little musty and the balcony overlooked a shed that had tons of discarded cardboard boxes etc. Very unsightly! My sister requested a room change and nothing happened. We reminded them the next day and the said we had to make a fresh request since it was not done the day we had requested it! Made no sense at all. Food was "so so". Otherwise I enjoyed my stay because I was with family.More
