With a beachfront setting, huge pool and serene spa, the Blau Varadero has tropical retreat written all over it.
Varadero’s white-sand beach underlines this high-rise hotel – the wooden walkway that leads through the grounds will take you to it. The waterside setting means the hotel gets fantastic sea views, too.
Tropical gardens hide a massive pool and a chic spa, while on the dining front you’ve got a triple helping of restaurants to pick between.

Blau Varadero Hotel Cuba
A very large hotel designed like an Inca temple with an enormous lobby reaching nine stories high with dangling creepers and vines that reach down from the high ceiling. It is large enough to smoke a nice Cuban cigar without annoying non smokers. The rooms are very big and comfortable and the room balconies are very private. The staff are very friendly and efficient.More
LOVE THIS HOTEL!
This is a perfect sized resort with one main building. Everything is a few short steps away. The entertainment team is amazing constantly keeping you busy. The foods and drinks are great. This resort is now adults only which is a huge disappointment. Will definitely return without the kiddos one day. More
"One of the best holidays I've had"
Just returned home today after spending 7 nights at the Blau Varadero Hotel. The hotel was amazing. ALL the staff were so friendly and extremely helpful. The pool area, beach, bars and restaurants were also excellent. Breakfast, lunch & evening meals were varied and coffee, beer, wine etc kept flowing you never had to ask for a refill - they were just there when you needed it!!! I would definitely stay there again. Congratulations and thank you to everyone from the cleaners upwards for giving myself, sister, brother-in-law and nephew for a wonderful stay. The only negative point about my particular room was the awful hairdryer but otherwise fabulous.More
We stayed one week in February. Great stay at Hotel Blau Varadero. The food at the Alacarte was real top, also the Resort. The sunbeds was Clean and the workers at the Resort did the best for us all time. For sure we will comeback back another time. Recomand this place. Linda and Bjørn. More
This was my second time to Varadero and it was better than the last but I will probably not return. The food is just okay, nothing great and very limited and repetitive. The Mexican a la carte was terrible and the International was better but not great by any means. We stayed in a renovated suite and it was nice, the TV had CTV Montreal so we were able to watch prime time TV. The nightly entertainment was pretty bad and way too smoky in the confined area. The people were nice, pool good but cold and the beach was beautiful. Would not return to Cuba as they clearly do not have all the amenities that I like on an all inclusive vacation. I would much rather visit Mexico or Jamaica.More
